Woman donates goat as a gift to President Buhari in Edo

president-buhari

Grace Egbon an elderly lady in Benin City, the Edo capital, has donated a goat to President Muhammadu Buhari to show her admiration for “his selfless lifestyle and passion to liberate the masses.”

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo received the ‘unique gift’ on behalf of the president.

Egbon, a supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), registered in Ward 7, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state, said she had longed to meet the President to show her admiration for his quality of leadership.

According to NAN, a window of opportunity opened to Egbon when the President was scheduled to commission the ultra-modern Samuel Ogbemudia College in Benin City, during his just concluded two-day working visit to Edo.

She braced the odds and came all the way with her surprise gift to the President which she had kept for the special occasion.

She tore through the thick crowd, making her way straight to the President who at the time had finished the official engagement and was heading for his waiting car.

Many in the crowd got emotional seeing the elderly lady pull through the crowd with the goat, determined to make a presentation to the President.

Gov. Oshiomhole, who noticed the security cordon between the lady and the President, came to her rescue.

He (Oshiomhole) alighted from the President’s convoy to receive the goat on behalf of the President,” a protocol official at the scene of the incident told NAN.

She thanked the President for accepting the gift which was handed over to protocol officials.

In his remarks on behalf of the President, Gov. Oshiomhole commended Grace for her kind gesture.

TB Joshua re-uploads Clinton prophesy on Facebook as followers defend him

tb-trump-clinton

Yesterday, the controversial Clinton prophesy on TB Joshua’s Facebook page was deleted and after wide spread backlash, it was later re-uploaded.

tbss

Recall yesterday a number of people have flooded social media platform, Twitter with interesting tweets about Prophet TB Joshua as his prophecy on the US election was not realized.

The General Overseer of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), predicted that the Democrat candidate, Hillary Clinton, would win the US Presidential election in a ‘narrow victory’ against Republican candidate, Donald Trump.

“Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win. “The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President. “The boat of the new President will be rocked. “By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman,” a post on TB Joshua Ministries Facebook page, Sunday read.

On the contrary, Donald Trump shattered expectations on Tuesday as he emerged winner.

Trust twitter to buzz with this development. See them here.

Meanwhile, some of his Facebook followers have fiercely defended the prophesy, saying it will still come to pass or God changed his mind at the last minute.

Yes, These are the reasons your husband will cheat on you.

chat

Why are men unfaithful? Believe it or not, it’s not always about sex. In a study of cheating husbands, about half said they did the deed because they felt neglected by their wives.

Only 7% did it out of sexual desire for someone else. So how can you keep your partner from straying? We went to the source—the husbands!—to find out exactly why men cheat and how you can keep it from happening.

1. He doesn’t feel sexy anymore.

“It felt like my wife stopped thinking I was attractive. She kept telling me how gross my gut was and pining over George Clooney lookalikes,” says *Jeff.

Think about how you would react if your guy compared you to movie stars and made you feel unattractive. So always treat your man like he’s a hunka, hunka burning love, and he’ll want to stay solely your hunk.

This is why dating a FAT woman is the best thing ever

fat-girls

– You can say that it is insensitive calling girls with a lot of flesh, FAT and it is better when they are referred to as BIG

– The word FAT, however, drives the point home and I prefer using it in this article because it will communicate effectively

Bigger girls have their advantages and they are awesome people to date and hang around. They will laugh and smile a lot and that will make your day. This is why you should consider changing your taste.

5. They are charming and easy

Fat girls know very well that their looks will probably not arrest your attention like curvy smaller women. To solve this they will often appear charming and sociable hence will click with you in no time.

Attitude is a word they leave with you to describe the other women with smaller physiques.

“Who Hillary Clinton Epp?” – Reno Omokri

reno-hilary

On Election Day 2016, I urged all my friends to go out and vote for Donald Trump with the following message:

“Get out and vote for the unborn fetus, get out and vote for God ordained marriage between a man and a woman, get out and vote against transgender bathrooms, get out and vote against Roe V Wade, get out and vote for Donald J.

Trump! He might not be perfect, but he will promote those conservative values that have kept a check on the moral fabric of society and nominate conservative Supreme Court Justices,”

’I had called. So many African Americans and Black Africans were appalled by my support for Donald Trump ever since my interview on the BBC on November 1st, 2016 when I called for Africans and others eligible to vote in the US elections to vote Donald Trump.

And why were my people so appalled? Because we are an emotional people who take decisions based on what we want right now rather than what we want eventually. Most African Americans voted for Hillary because they bought into the lie peddled by the mainstream media that Trump is a racist. Most Black Africans supported Hillary because they did not want Trump to clamp down on immigration into the US.

But my people failed to take into account the big picture! What are our cultural values as a Race? Do we as Black people, whether African American or Black African, really support gay rights and gay marriage? Trust our copy cat culture, if Hillary had been elected she would have strengthened the gay marriage lobby and her Supreme Court nominees would have made it a reality and the next thing you know we would want to copy it hook line and sinker.

As a race, we suffer disproportionately from abortions more than any other race in America. African Americans and Black Africans make up 13% of the US populations yet 37% of all abortions in the US are done by Black women. It has gotten to the point where the most dangerous place for a Black child to be is in its own mother’s womb! Can we afford to continue with such a shameful record?

We need somebody that is committed to ending Roe V Wade and outlawing the practice of on demand abortion. I believe in a woman’s right to choose but that right is asserted by any woman the minute she chooses to have unprotected sex.

But let me get technical. What did Hillary Clinton do for Nigeria or Africa when she was Secretary of State? My people are just too sentimental and forget how she dithered and resisted naming Boko Haram as a terrorist group. We have forgotten how she led the effort to use the Leahy Law to frustrate Nigeria’s efforts to buy weapons from the

US and when we could not buy from them she and her contemporaries also frustrated our efforts to buy from Israel.
The annoying thing is that it was her disastrous intervention in Libya that led to the escalation of the Boko Haram insurgency because the overthrow of Gaddafi destabilized much of North and West Africa by putting sophisticated light weapons in the hands of non state actors like Boko Haram.

And yet when we as a nation were faced with the consequences of her actions she would not help us. Nigeria was reduced to buying weapons for cash on the Black Market. The thing is that Gaddafi may have been a nasty piece of work but at least he made Libya stable.

Today, ISIS has a foothold in Libya and from there supports insurgents like Boko Haram and Al Shabbab who are causing instability in Nigeria and Kenya.

My big question to Nigerians especially is this-Who Hillary Clinton Epp?

Our follow follow is too much. In real economic terms what did we stand to gain from Hillary Clinton? Though I have been a lifelong Republican since first coming to America as a nine year old, I suspend that status in 2008 to support a fellow Black man, President Obama out of purely primordial reasons (he is Black as I am) but to be honest, what has Africa and Nigeria gained from eight years of Obama in the White House?

He never visited Nigeria. He never packaged any special economic package for Nigeria or Africa. Say whatever you want to say about former President George W Bush but no other US President has been as radical in his support to Africa as Bush number 43! For giving more than $5 billion in humanitarian aid to Africa annually, President Bush goes on record as having given more assistance to Sub Saharan Africa than any other president including President Obama!

AIDS and Malaria are some of our biggest challenges in Africa and Bush met us at the point of our need. Before President George W Bush intervened in the fight against HOV/AIDS, only 100,000 Africans were on antiretrovirals but in 2003 he set up the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and by the time he left office in 2009 that number had grown to 2 million. When Congress resisted his efforts for funding to the time of $1.2 billion to fight malaria in Africa in 2007 Bush persuaded them by saying “There’s no reason for little babies to be dying of mosquito bites around the world.”

Now I ask you, what similar effort have President Obama and Hillary put forward while they had power? Yes Obama has held summits like the first US/Africa Leaders Summit and the US Africa Business Summit but do we eat summits? What came of it other than talk and mostly Obama talking down at African leaders in a way he would never do with Asian leaders.

At least with Trump we know that he will take on ISIS and other radical Islamic groups and that includes Boko Haram! Moreover, Trump has pledged to curb China’s global dominance and to do that he would have to match China dollar for dollar in Africa and when China and the US compete Africa gains.

But be that as it may I am very proud to have publicly supported Donald Trump from the beginning to the end. Where are all those people who insulted me for my support for Donald Trump? They all seem to have gone missing in the ‘other room’!

Female Soldier and Her Fiance Share Their Love Story..

female-soldier-01

You all remember the soldier-themed pre-wedding photoshoot of a female officer and her boo that cause a stir online? Well the couple in a recent interview decided to share their love story and the idea behind the shoot. He said:

female-sol

“We’ve known each other since we were kids and I have always been fond of her, we started dating in the year 2000. In 2005 we had a misunderstanding and we parted ways, contrary to what people may think about uniform women, they are very emotional and aren’t that really different from your everyday girl. After eight years of casual friendship , on February 14th 2016 I gave her a call and the rest is history. I’ve always known deep inside that she would be the woman I would marry.

About the pre wedding pictures, firstly we never imagined they would attract the kind of attention they did. Funny enough we took about five different sets of pictures and that was the only one she was on uniform.

We just wanted to try something different and funny , its funny to see different kind of reactions coming from the photos .

Those pictures represents how lively , jovial ,accommodating ,understanding and friendly our marriage will be, it wasn’t intended to belittle the force or the men and women who give their lives everyday for a safer Nigeria neither was it intended to make the Military look superior to the Civilians.

It was just us having fun , Everyday people come up with different concepts for pre wedding shoots, this was ours and we love it .

“What is the meaning of life
Why do we live like death is far from us and then it storms like whirlwind
The happiness of life doesn’t even last long
One moment it’s a good news the next moment it’s a terribly bad news
Several things encourages us to keep running the heavenly race but certain things are beyond our understanding.
The death of a great soldier like you Abba Peter Ameh is discouraging
We wake up everyday hopeful and busy rushing around living life that we forget to ponder why we live.
Abba Peter Ameh, you struggled and fought to the end collected your NYSC certificate on Friday and you were happily coming home to show mama and everyone but you got snatched by death on Sunday.
So I ask what is life?
One minute struggle the next is death!
WHY THE STRESS??????
remember that you left your humble twin here and mama is not finding it funny with your sudden departure.
I have cried and making sure I don’t make the mistake of questioning God cos you are His and with Him. I know the devil has no hand in your death because God allowed it.
The biggest comfort now is that you are with Jesus.
You lived well but not long enough, you were so humble and loved Jesus, you were an encouragement to many that indeed God is faithful. We will miss you o it still feels like a dream but God is our comfort.
Sleep well brother!!!!!
We will miss you especially your twin”

Article: “TB Joshua: At what point do we realise that this guy is a fake?”

t

Article not written by us. It was culled From Pulse.ng.

Read Below:

General overseer of the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), ‘Prophet’ Temitope Balogun Joshua, called the United States presidential election for Democrat Hillary Clinton, days before the first ballot was cast in anger.
It was a Facebook post seen round the world.

“Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win”, the cleric wrote. “The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new President.

“The boat of the new President will be rocked.

“By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman”.

First off, there’s no new President who doesn’t “get his boat rocked”.

It’s like saying the sun will rise at dawn.

TB Joshua was lying through his false teeth and he knew it.

The issue is that this goatee spotting cleric has been getting away with prophecies of this nature in the past. This time, he was found out.

scoan-peru-crusade

He’s the expert at predicting the obvious. Something along the lines of Germany will win the World Cup or Barcelona will win the Spanish La Liga, one businessman will win the Governorship election in a South-West State or one prominent politician will die this year–pray!

People die every year across the world and prominent politicians will answer nature’s call at some point, like everyone else.

It’s a game of probability anyone can play and Joshua has proven himself adept at this game through the years.

But as the TV networks called the election for Donald J. Trump instead, TB Joshua’s Facebook post had disappeared.

And no, it wasn’t some kind of miracle, he manually deleted his own social media post after it became evident that his prediction had gone awry.

“A prediction by influential Nigerian TV evangelist TB Joshua that Hillary Clinton would win the US presidential election has been removed from his Facebook account”, screamed the BBC.

See your life outside, Temitope?

tb-joshua-named-yoruba-man-of-the-year-2015

BBC added: “Mr Joshua told his congregation on Sunday that he “saw” a woman winning.

“After Donald Trump convincingly won Tuesday’s vote, visitors to the preacher’s Facebook page noticed the prophecy had been removed”.

A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, joined in on the act.

“It is official. President-Elect Donald J. Trump. I am glad to have campaigned for you. Dear TB Joshua, who gave you your prophecy? My God that I serve is not a man that He will lie!”

Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri

Prophet Joshua was soon the object of intense ridicule online.

“Maybe he saw Donald in his vision grabbing a woman by the pussy”, tweeted Yinka Igbaroola.

Twitter user @SaemythEM, wrote: “According to TB Joshua’s law of hallucinations, next time you see a woman in your dream, don’t be so sure”.

There’ve been several memes to go with an embarrassing day at the office for TB Joshua.

For years, he’s fooled Nigerians and the world at large with his ‘working to the answer’ prophecies.

This may just be the best opportunity for the self acclaimed Prophet to retire from the business of churning out false predictions.

He was embarrassingly found out this time; and deleting his social media post cemented his reputation as one of the phoniest Pastors in the land.

Wole Soyinka speaks: “I will not destroy my U.S. residency permit just yet…”

wole-soyinka

Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, has said he won’t destroy his United States’ residency permit until President elect, Donald Trump is inaugurated in 2017.

In a report by Vangaurd Newspaper, Soyinka reportedly made this known on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

The writer reportedly said he will not destroy his residency permit until he sees what becomes of Trump’s administration after inaugurated into office.

soyinka-1

“Why don’t we wait until Trump actually takes office? I am just going about my normal commitments, but definitely not getting into any more commitments. Let’s put it that way for now,” he said.

Days before the United States presidential election held, Soyinka had threatened to tear his permit should Republican candidate, Donald Trump emerge winner.

Following Trump’s victory on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, Nigerians had taken to social media to request that the Nobel laureate made through his threat.

Woman gives birth to twins and names them Donald and Trump

trump-twn

A woman from South Carolina who made headlines when she gave birth to twin boys at Grand Strand Medical Center and named them Donald and Trump says she has no regrets for giving them those names. The proud mum said:

“We weren’t planning on naming them after Donald Trump at first, but it is clearly a divine sign that our next president shows up in our state on the day my little sunshines are born” explained Latifa Huxley, proud mother of the two.

“Donald Trump is a bright and successful man with strong moral values that represents what America is all about.” she told local reporters, visibly emotional.

The family strongly believe the timing of the South Carolina GOP primary with the birth of their twins in February was no coincidence.

trump-twins-01

Father of the twins Damian Huxley said:

“It is truly a blessing and a God-given sign”. “After all the division Obama has brought upon this country, it is a great privilege to have my children born on this auspicious day,” he explained with pride.

“I don’t care if my president is black or white, all I know is that Trump is a man of his word and we believe him when he says that he will make America great again,” he adds.

I did not receive a calling from God – Majid Michel

insta-image-4

Contrary to popular belief that a person has to be called to the work of God, Ghanaian actor Majid Michel says his new-found love for preaching is a genuine one inspired by his understanding of the Bible.

For quite some time now, Majid Michel has been in the news for what seems like a sudden turn over to a more spiritual life, which took many by surprise since he is perceived by many to be similar to bad boy characters he plays in movies.

Recently, he was spotted ministering at the Zoe Chapel International at Tabora, Accra where he was for the first time, seen mounting a pulpit and laying his hands on some of the congregants.

But the actor, in a recent interview on Hitz FM’s TIG Show with Franky5 revealed he has always been God-fearing.

“I had a great sense of guilt, so that limited my sinful nature. I fell a couple of times but could not continue, I always came up with a new to identify with the mistake and correct it,” he said.

Majid added “Then I discovered great revelations in the Bible. Growing up I hardly understood the word of God so as a result, I have discovered great revelations from reading the Bible. I understood it better and it’s simpler for me and that was my greatest urge to teach the word of God for people to understand it.”

For him, he has always been a pastor. “I didn’t hear a voice or see a dark cloud or hear the voice of God like the ocean sound or like waves pounding the sea. I didn’t have any experience, I did it as a pastor, well I have always been [a pastor].”

Recently, Majid Majid Michel, in an Instagram post, expressed disappointment at pastors who seek wealth and fame than the core job of winning souls and leading their congregations to Christ.

He expressed worry that some pastors these days do not focus on the dictates that come with their job but rather meddle in immoral acts and also compete against each other for fame and wealth.

The online contest was held on the Flexxzone, the exclusive microsite built around FCMB’s Flexx proposition and which provides relevant content to the Flexx target audience on a wide range of areas, including fashion, lifestyle, entrepreneurship and much more.
To qualify, candidates were advised to upload a 45-second video to YouTube with the hashtag #FCMBFlexxtern, explaining why they were the best person for the job and invite their friends to vote for them. After the public voting stage, a panel of judges had the task of independently rating the contestants, which led to the emergence of the winners.

On Wednesday, November 08, 2016, a reception was held in honour of the winners. The event which held at the FCMB Head Office was an opportunity to get to know the winners and introduce them to the organisations they would be working with respectively. According to her, “It’s very fulfilling to see so many young Nigerians embrace and heartily participate in the various FCMB Flexx youth empowerment programs. The #FCMBFlexxtern initiative is especially important, because it gives students and young graduates an opportunity to gain hands-on workplace and business experience. We are honoured that through our Flexx product, we are in the position to contribute to the improving the lives of the youth in Nigeria. Certainly, there is more to come from Flexx and FCMB”.

House of Reps Order EFCC to Arrest ‘MMM’ Promoters

mmm-1

It is bad news for the promoters of Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, otherwise known as ‘MMM’ in Nigeria as the House of Representatives on Wednesday, ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to immediately go after the promoters.

It specifically asked the EFCC to arrest MMM promoters and prosecute them. Most of the lawmakers who added to the discussion opposed the investment scheme and labeled it scam.

MMM gained popularity recently in Nigeria following the current economic recession in the country.

MMM Global has swept across Africa, with branches promising returns on investment of 30 per cent a month in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and some east African states.

It is masterminded by the former Russian politician Sergey Mavrodi, who went on the run when the original MMM – standing for Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox – collapsed in the late 1990s, losing investors an estimated $100m.

On its website, MMM Global unashamedly advertises itself as a scheme whereby new members “assist” older members by paying a fee to join.

Older members are allowed to withdraw money after a certain period of time, and receive bonuses for encouraging others to sign up.

The lawmakers warned Nigerians to be careful as this is yet another trick investment fraudsters use to attract people before vanishing with their money.

The House directed the EFCC, security agencies and the CBN to take urgent steps to halt the scheme before many Nigerians would become victims of the scam.

The House further directed it Committees on Banking/Currency and Financial Crimes to investigate the activities of MMM Nigeria Scheme, “with a view to saving Nigerians participating in the scheme from you financial ruin.”

The Chairman, House Committee on Telecommunications, Mr. Saheed Fijabi, had in a motion, drawn the attention of the House to the growing popularity of the scheme among Nigerians.

Fijabi, an All Progressives Congress lawmaker from Oyo State, represents Ibadan-South/West Federal Constituency.

“The scheme entered the Nigerian circle in 2016, capitalising on the high level of unemployment and poverty to deceive unwary Nigerians into falling prey to their antics”, Fijabi stated.

He said the fact that MMM was not regulated by law or approved by the CBN as a secure business venture, made Nigerians more vulnerable.

“I’m Sorry We Did Not Win This Election” – Hillary Clinton Delivers Powerful Concession Speech

cnn-11

Hillary Clinton met with her staff and supporters for the first time after losing to Donald Trump on Wednesday in New York. This is coming Hours after conceding the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump in a shocking turn of events.

The crowd cheered and clapped as she took the stage to address them.

“Thank you all very much,” she began “Thank you, thank you. And I love you all, too. Last night I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a president for all of our country…

“I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we all share…You represent the best of America, and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I know how disappointed you feel, because I feel it too.

“This is painful, and it will be for a long time. But I want you to remember this. Our campaign was never about one person… it was about building a country that we love… We have seen that our country was more deeply divided than we ever thought…”

Clinton revealed that in addition to respecting the election “we must defend” the values of non-discrimination and the rule of law and equality before the law.

She then called on supporters to advance the values “we hold most dear.” She said: “We’ve spent a year-and-a-half bringing together millions of people… We believe the American dream is big enough for everyone.”

She said men, women, LGBT, people with disabilites – “for everyone.”

“Our responsibility as citizens is to continue to do our part to build that better stronger fairer America that we all seek.”

Clinton went ahead to thank Kaine and Holton and says she’s comforted to know Kaine is going back to the senate.

“To Barack and Michelle Obama. Our country owes you an enormous debt of gratitude. We thank you for your graceful determined leadership that has meant so much…

“And to Bill and Chelsea, Mark Charlotte Aidan.. my love for you means more than I can ever express. You criss-crossed this country on my behalf and lifted me up when I needed it most.”

She thanked the “talent and dedicated” staff. “You poured your hearts into this campaign… you were the best campaign that anybody could have ever expected or wanted.

“And to the millions of volunteers, community leaders, activists and union organizers…I want everybody coming out… and make sure your voices are heard going forward.”

She thanked donors. She thanked “the young people in particular.” And told them she’s had “successes and setbacks,” “Sometimes really painful.”

“You will have successes and setbacks too. This loss hurts. But please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.”

“And to all the women.. who put their faith in this campaign and me… I want you to know that nothing has made me prouder than to be your champion.”

“I know we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but I know someday someone will, and hopefully sooner than we might think right now.

“And to all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable… and deserving of every chance… to pursue your own dreams.”
Clinton says she is “incredibly honored and grateful to have had this chance.”

“May god bless you and may god bless the United States of America.”

She then hugged everyone onstage and walked off.

Footage also emerged of activists setting tyres and rubbish bins on fire, blocking main roads and lighting flares. People also burned an effigy of the President-elect, who will be officially sworn into office in January.

Other protests have broken out in the San Diego, San Fransisco and San Jose areas, according to reports by Mirror. People could be heard chanting “Whose streets? Our streets” and “Not Our President“, according to Twitter users at the scene.

A demonstration also unfolded at the University of California, Davis where students blocked streets as they marched and chanted anti-Trump slogans and “You are not America, we are America,” according to Twitter posts.

Anti-racist protesters are to stage a demonstration outside the US Embassy in London following the shock election victory.

Womanizing Soldier Who Is Married To Two Wives But Still Sleeps With 6 Others Caught And Disgraced. (Photos)

tapiwa

An illicit love web involving more than six people has turned nasty after hearts were broken and lives shattered following the revelation of one man’s lies and deceit.

One of the women involved in this web is legally married to another man and is being sued for bigamy by her husband. The main man at the centre of storm is Tapiwanashe Chikarara, 32, who is a soldier stationed at Inkomo Barracks.

Tapiwanashe is allegedly having unprotected sex with approximately eight women including his two wives.

His second wife, Regina Mazivanhanga, 36, said Tapiwa’s actions were a clear indication he has no regard for his life or any of the women in his life.

She claimed that her relationship with the ‘love master’, Tapiwa, started after he sexually abused her while at work.

“The reason why I ended up in this mess is because Tapiwa raped me when we were at work. I did not tell anyone about it because of so many reasons.

“I am legally married to another man and when he found out that I had kept my rape secret, things got bad between us.

“I then started to date Tapiwa and he made me his second wife. He went to my family and his relatives know me too.

“I have gone through a lot with him but because of love I tried to cover up his mistakes.

“I have spent a lot of resources on this man and I do not believe that he has decided to repay me like this. I am really hurt because I discovered that he has six other women he is having unprotected sex with,” sighed Regina.

tapiwa1

She said she was shocked to realise that Tapiwa was cheating on her and was not even concerned about their health.

“Seriously, there is HIV and yet he does not even consider that. He is busy going around breaking women’s hearts and for what? I am disappointed in him so much. He has destroyed my life,” she said.

Regina said she felt betrayed but above all felt sorry for every woman who became Tapiwa’s victim.

“Right now I am on my way to collect my HIV test results. I am pregnant and I am not sure of my status so it is better for me to know now. It is not fair that he gets to toy with people’s hearts like that,” Regina said.

Judith Tauyanago, Tapiwa’s first wife who could not stop herself from laughing at Regina’s averments said:

“I am not her co-wife and Tapiwa does not have two wives. I am his only wife iye ihure rake. She dumped her husband Maxwell Mazivanhanga whom she is legally married to.

“Zvazorwadza nhasi? She made me suffer for a long time now it is her turn to suffer. She is bitter because Tapiwa told her that he was no longer interested in her.

“I told her that Tapiwa was not to be trusted since he is a womaniser but she thought I was being jealous. Murume anotonyenga haaregi zve. Ko murume ihama yako here yekuti ungachemera,” asked Judith.

“What is so special about her that she thought Tapiwa would not cheat on her? Iyo chembere iyoyo. I told her that it was not going to last……….hahahahaha manje haasati atanga achanhonga svosve nemuromo,” laughed Judith.

Judith confirmed that Tapiwa is currently staying with another woman named Melody Phiri.

tapiwa2

“Regina was dumped by Tapiwa because he found a new girlfriend, Melody Phiri whom he is currently staying with.

He found a greener pasture and he moved on. Angagarira mukadzi asina mazino here? She just has to accept that she has lost and move on like I did,” added Judith.

When reached for comment, one of the alleged girlfriends, Melody Phiri denied having an affair with Tapiwa. Margret Chiwanza, who is also accused of bedding Tapiwa, also distanced herself from being one of the people caught up in Tapiwa’s love web.

stolen-gen

An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday sentenced a 23-year-old unemployed man, Fatai Obadeyi, to three years imprisonment without option of fine for stealing generator valued at N60,000.

The Chief Magistrate, M.O. Osinbajo, sentenced Mr. Obadeyi after he pleaded guilty to the charge.

“Based on the facts of this case confirmed report and the plea of leniency, I hereby sentence you to three years imprisonment without an option of fine,” she held.

Mr. Egunjobi said the convict stole a generator belonging to a man, Aro Olusanya, and took it to Mushin Area of Lagos and sold it to one Ubong now at large.

“But luck ran out on Obadeyi when he came back to the same area very early hours of November 1 to steal another generator and phones, property of Ojo.

“My Saddest Was My Baby Mama Saga” – 2Baba On His Life Regrets.

2baba-regrets

Nigerian music mogul, 2baba, Innocent Ujah Idibia, has revealed that his saddest moments were those times people wrote so many unprintable things about him when his children were born by different women.

The singer who fathers six children from three different women but married to one, Annie, told the Sun:

“My saddest moment was when they were writing things about me some years ago while I was celebrating the kids coming.

“Some people were using it against me, and saying some hurtful things to put me down. I wondered how people could be so mean as to say some things about other humans.

“Another sad moment was when I lost my dad.

“All of a sudden I realized that this man who used to carry us on his shoulders and take us out for shopping and all that was going to die.

“Although, I tried all I could but I couldn’t help him, and he died. I cried like a baby.”

2baba-regrets1

He identified humility, respect for people, talent and belief in oneself as key factors to being a successful musician.

“The number one factor to success is that you have to be ready mentally, physically, spiritually and every other ‘ally’. You have to be ready to face challenges.

Number two is respect. You must respect people because people are the backbones of your success and failure. Respect your fans and the people that contributed in one way or the other to your career, because there is no artiste that can come out and say he or she is an island.

You must have some level of humility as well. It’s not necessary that you greet everybody you see on the road; but you have to know that since you have put yourself out there, you must be humble. And finally, you need to have talent; talent is key because it is the foundation on which you will build your career as a musician.”

Speaking about his regrets:

“I am not somebody that likes to regret. I feel that whatever that happens has happened. The only thing I think of is how to blend and turn things positively. I don’t just sit down; fold my hands and start regretting. Instead, I re-adjust and move on.”

“PDP will work with US President-Elect, Donald Trump” – Ekweremadu

ike-ekweremadu1

DEPUTY Senate President Ike Ekweremadu said Wednesday that the Nigeria opposition political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP will work assiduously with the President-Elect of the United States of America, USA, Mr. Donald Trump.

In a statement by his Special Adviser, Media, Uche Anichikwu, Senator Ekweremadu who congratulated Trump on his victory in the U.S presidential election, said that emerging democracies, including Nigeria, must emulate the democratic and transparent nature of the U.S election, noting that the will of the people and respect for democratic principles must be allowed at all times and also against the backdrop that the election was not inconclusive.

Ekweremadu, who described the election as “hard-fought”, said the two major contestants gave a good account of themselves, however commended the candidate of the Democratic Party, Mrs. Hilary Clinton, for calling to concede the presidency to her rival and congratulating him on his hard-worn victory.

He said:

“Mr. Trump has rightly described the election as historic. But it is not only historic for the U.S, but also for the world. It is an important reminder to the entire world of the true meaning and essence of democracy as government of the people.

“I urge him to work for democracy, global peace and prosperity because the peace and prosperity of America is intrinsic in that of the entire world.

“In particular, I urge better bilateral deals for Nigeria by the incoming Donald Trump presidency. I have no doubt that the people of Nigeria and indeed the Peoples Democratic Party are willing and ready to work with the incoming U.S government for the good of both nations.

“We have many lessons to learn from the American presidential election. It was highly democratic, transparent, peaceful, and free of intimidation, willful manipulations, contrived security scares; and it was absolutely conclusive, even though the ruling party was losing, and eventually lost”

“God told me Trump would win despite what a popular Pastor stated” – OAP Freeze

freeze

Controversial OAP, Daddy freeze has gone all spiritual. He claims God revealed who the Next President of America will be.. He predict Donald trump.. and He was right.

Read His full text below:

On the 17th of September 2015, I predicted that Donald Trump would become America’s next president…… Yesterday evening, despite what a popular Pastor stated and despite the predictions of all the ‘experts’ in the U.S, I made my prediction, declaring Donald Trump America’s next president as revealed to me by God.

When God made this revelation to me and instructed me to make it public, I hesitated….. knowing the world was going to chew me up and spit me out, however, yesterday evening, I gathered enough confidence to showcase what the LORD revealed to me. The insults hurled at me knew no bounds, and I was called many unprintable names…
———————–
Trump is a blunt, no holds barred person, while Clinton is described as a bloodthirsty warmonger so when God revealed him to me, I knew it was a much better choice!
———————–
On a final note, when are Nigerians going to stop listening to these false prophesies from these ‘prophets’?
————————
Now here is another prophesy as revealed to me by God! There is going to be a total makeover in the church, as he is going to destroy the status quo, and great calamities would befall some men of God who are using his name falsely. He is an all forgiving God and would forgive them if they repent and stop extorting poor people selfishly…. This prophesy will happen sooner than we expect and shouldn’t be taken lightly. ~FRZ

Woman gives birth to deformed baby due to abortion pills taken by her

deformed-baby

A new born baby is suffering from the atrocities of her mother as she was born with a serious deformity due to the use of contraceptives.

According to a nurse, Sylvia Ijeoma, the baby which was delivered at the hospital where she works, had an hydrocephalus head (a condition in which fluid accumulates in the brain, typically in young children, enlarging the head and sometimes causing brain damage), one missing ear and a cleft palate (a congenital split in the roof of the mouth), all caused by the use of contraceptives by the mother.

This is what Nurse Ijeoma wrote:

“To the youths of our time, do not get a lady or gal pregnant. An innocent baby was delivered today in our hospital.

She had hydrocephalus head, no ear (left) cleft lip, and cleft palate, due to the use of contraceptive pills. Be warned don’t fall a victim.”

It was gathered that the pregnant woman had tried all forms of contraceptives in a bid to abort the baby but it stubbornly refused to be flushed out and the result is the serious deformity she is going to live with.

“I cannot marry a poor man, I can afford to buy my banana Island mansion twice” – Linda Ikeji tells it all in new interview

linda-ikeji-wide-leg-pants
Linda Ifeoma Ikeji is the famous blogger Nigerians don’t get tired of talking about. Presently, She is regarded as Nigeria’s Queen of blog and now she is revolutionizing blogging as she recently launched her ultramodern social media, Linda Ikeji Social.

In this interview with Ifeoma Ononye, she speaks on why people believe she took money from Dasuki, her real age and top three qualities her would-be-husband must possess.

Can you tell us about Linda Ikeji Social (LIS)?
The unique platform Linda Ikeji Social represents a revolutionary innovation in not just news reporting but also in facilitating social interaction. LIS creates a virtual meeting place that combines the dissemination of news as well as enabling social connection and interaction.

LIS came up as a result of feedback from the blog that people need a platform where they can not only get breaking news, but express their positions on issues as it affects their world. They can also interact and connect with friends as well as get all other important information about products and services around the world. LIS is like online blog and facebook rolled into one.

News sharing is tied to what we do every day on social media. We all have a responsibility to share things we witness that we feel could bring about change in society.

It’s a platform where you can land the home page from anywhere you are navigating from, view notification and messages and also you can submit your story and get paid, as well as make money while networking. I encourage people to sign up on the platform. I dream of being the Oprah Winfrey of Africa.

How has the journey been so far, from when you were hustling for modeling jobs to becoming a social media mogul?
The journey has been amazing. I didn’t expect to be here today. When I started hustling back then for modeling jobs, the first thing I came across back then was blogging before Facebook, Twitter, Instagram became known and popular. To be honest, when I started my blogging in November 26, 2006, the last thing in my mind was that it is going to change my life as much as it has. It was just a place for me to be creative because I love to write. I didn’t think that five years from then that all these would happen. I didn’t envision that I was going to come this far. It has been an amazing journey and definitely something that I am grateful for. Everyone is on social media but not everyone can say that it has changed their lives so much. I am grateful to God for how far I have come with his help.

Back then, blogging was not that popular, what exactly attracted you to it?
At first, I didn’t know there was anything called blogging. I never heard of it back then. At the time I was a model and kind of people knew me. I was a little popular in my own way. So Bellanaija wrote about me and my friend in United Kingdom sent me the link to the story. So I went to read the story online and that was my first encounter with blogging. Before then, the only thing I do online was just to check my email and that was it. I read the comment and it was a beautiful experience for me. I went back to Bellanaija the next day to read other stories. I was going to Bella’s blog for four months and I discovered other blogs. I enjoyed the whole experience because I loved to write. That has always been my passion. While growing up I wanted to be a journalist. Then one day I told myself that I can as well start mine since I liked the blogs so much. It took three minutes to start a blog and that was how I started blogging.

Some may want to know at what point that Linda Ikeji blog started paying off?
When you are passionate about something, you put your all in it and that was what I did. I started blogging consistently and passionately until 2010. It never occurred to me that I have built a lot of followership in that time and brands were watching. By the end of 2010, I had thousands of people following me and I never knew it would translate to money. The first time a company approached me to pay to post something, I found it very strange. I didn’t know that people like Bellanaija and Sahara reporters were charging. I had to ask a friend to send me an advert rate. It was in January 2011 that I had my own advert rate and I started sending it out to people. By February, people started paying me and since then, it’s been great.

Between the time you started and when you started getting paid, was there a time you wanted to give up?
Yes there were many times, I wanted to give up. I had bad times back then but the worst was in September 19, 2010. It was my 30th birthday. I was broke, I was angry because I have been done doing modeling in a long time. I was still struggling, I was still borrowing money, I was depressed because I felt like a failure. I will cry and cry but will still open my laptop and blog. I didn’t know that my breakthrough was at the corner and that God was leading me to it. After my 30th birthday, my life practically changed.

You have blogged a lot of news; positive, negative and controversial especially about artistes. For example Wizkid, what is your relationship with them?

I don’t want to talk about Wizkid. I have a cordial relationship with a lot of entertainers. I have had run-ins with a few of them but in recent times, I haven’t. It was when I was a bit carefree and careless with the stories I write. In a year now, I have not had any big issue with anybody.

How do you handle it when they threaten to sue you?
The only person I have threatened was wizkid. Their threat does not scare me because I believe I do more good for them than bad. And they acknowledge that. Some of them are my friends. Some of them have been to my house, some of them are on my WhatsApp chat. The negativity that comes with blogging is fine. I mean, it’s blogging, you write about people. Some people may take offense; some will react in different ways. I have been doing this for ten years and if by now I am not used to back lash, then I should get out of the business.

If you are asked what you make in a year, what will you say?
I cannot tell you what I make in a year.

Many are speculating that Linda is the richest blogger in Nigeria, how true is that?
About being the richest blogger in Nigeria, I will probably agree. Why I agree is because I talk with a lot of clients and advert agencies and they say that when they bring out an online plan for advertisers, 98% of them choose me. That means 98% of people who advertise online, advertise on my blog. They choose me and others. So I think in all honesty and modesty, I make more money than most. Not more than Punch and Vanguard but regular blogs.

In terms of your news reporting, what lessons have you learnt from your blogging experience?
It has thought me to be careful because as much as you think that you know, there are people who have in-depth knowledge of the story. Sometimes I put up a story and I read comments, from the comments, I go back to make some corrections because there are people who experienced it firsthand. I have also learnt that is important to verify your stories because basically if people rely on your site for information and you mess up a few times, they will not trust your news anymore and they go to other credible sites. And when they go, your advertisers go.

From the feedback you get, do you feel loved or hate?
It is a combination of both. I try as much as possible to hold onto the love and don’t pay attention to the hate. I have grown a thick skin to when people say vile things about me. I just laugh over it because they don’t know me. I mean if Wizkid and Olamide are tongue lashing me because of the story I wrote about them, I can understand that but if I have never written about you and you say vile things about me, I take it that the hate is coming from somewhere that is not my fault. Maybe you are angry about your situation or I remind you of something that you wish you had but you didn’t. I have been there. I have been in a situation where I was angry at people that are successful. I understand that success comes with a lot of hate. I pay more attention to people that say I inspire them.

Have you lost any valuable friendship because of what you do?
No, not really.

What about the time people said that you took money from Dasuki?
I didn’t make a big deal out of the Dasuki issue because it was overwhelming. A friend called me and told me to calm down. I mean, I bought a house on Banana Island for half a billion; people cannot wrap their mind around it. So they will assume you got it from somewhere else. Up until the news broke about Dasuki, I have never heard of him. I never dealt with anyone. I never collected money from anyone. The money I collected was PDP and APC for adverts. It was a few millions. I know that I am not guilty of anything, if not EFCC would have put me in their custody. So when I hear such stories, I can understand where they are coming from. They don’t understand how online blog can give me such money but those who deal online will tell you that I can afford to buy that house twice.

When you get married, what will happen to that house in Banana Island?
I will move to the man’s house. As long it is not a three bedroom flat in lekki. My parents will be there.

You are transforming from a blogger into a full media owner, don’t you think you are taking on quite too much, why not take it a little bit at a time?
I have been a blogger for ten years, I am bored, I want to do something else. I am 36, this is the time I have the energy and passion to run this. I delegate, I have staff now. I have over 30 people that work here so they are the ones running all of these. I don’t limit myself at all. I believe there is absolutely nothing I cannot do. I get like six hours a day. I sleep five hours in the night.

People believe you don’t write negative stories about your friends?
That is not true. If I write negative stories about people, I won’t be here talking. I will be hiding somewhere because I get a lot of stories. I would rather they take a picture with me when they see me than threaten me. I make money from writing positive stories so why should I concentrate on negative stories.

You released a video on your birthday talking about some personal stuff, what influenced that?
It’s now that I want to marry. I didn’t want to marry earlier. I just got emotional a bit and it was my birthday and I just wanted to get things off my chest. It was my birthday as I wished I was married.

But do you get proposals? Back then and now, how are the proposals coming?
I have always had proposals. People say when a woman is successful, men run away, it’s a lie. That is when they chase you the more but unfortunately, I have not seen what I am looking for. Men are not scarce. It is the type of men that I am looking for that is scarce. I want a man that I can look up to. I want someone that inspires me. I want a man that will push me to achieve more. I want someone who has achieved some success in his own career. Someone I can learn from. I am inspired by successful people. I can’t wait to meet someone like Tyler Perry.

So you cannot marry a poor guy?
No I cannot marry a poor man. He does not have to be overly rich but he must be successful in his own career. When I was 30, my standards were very high. I was so focused on work. I have been so ambitious. I was not focused on marriage and kids because I know that would draw me back. It is just recently that I told myself that ‘Linda, you are 36, four years to 40. What are you doing?’ At 30, I had a long list of how I want my would-be-husband to be. When I turned 35, I reviewed the list and not, there are only three options on the list. My top three: A good man; successful and a man that will not stifle me or stop me from what I am doing presently, because I cannot be stifled. A man that is carrying and sexy. He also must be good in the bedroom.

What about the part where people say that you are 46 and not 36 years old? Why do you feel comfortable to talk about your age unlike many women?
It is very simple to tell anyone’s age. I mean, once you tell me the year you finished secondary school, I can tell your age. I finished secondary school in 1997 from Lagos Anglican Girls Grammar school. I was 16 going on 17. If I am 46 then I finished secondary school in the 80’s. The following year 1998, I entered university of Lagos.

“My husband is frustrating me in bed”

“My name is Camilla, a 30-year-old woman. I have been married for six years with one kid but presently, I am not enjoying my marriage.

My husband, Harry, is really making me regret agreeing to marry him ahead of Efosa, my ex-boyfriend who also wanted to marry me.

I saw Harry more of a gentleman because he was always calm in everything he does while Efosa was the hypersensitive type, always out for one adventure or the other.

Efosa was not ready for marriage just yet and wanted me to wait for two more years while at 26, I was due for marriage especially as my family was on my neck.

What Harry lacked in bed, Efosa was the bomb and he always got the better of me when it comes to sex.

While Harry is meticulous and likes to put things in proper perspectives, Efosa was always ready for anything. In fact, we could have sex every day for a month and he would not be tired but with my husband, sex has never been a priority for him.

In the first year of our marriage, sleeping with my husband was just manageable where we had sex on an average of three times a week but in the past two years, it has plummeted so much that it takes a miracle for us to have sex once in three months.

Anytime I try to seduce him, he would complain of tiredness, not being in the mood or just plainly not interested. We have gone six months without sex and he does not see anything wrong in that.

He keeps telling me that while he is busy trying to put food on the table and take care of the bills, all I care about is sex.

It is not as if I do not understand how things are in the country but I am a woman and just as he tries to meet the needs of the family, my emotional needs should be taken care of as well.

I am getting tempted to get a man to do what my husband has refused to do and no one should blame me.

Camilla.”

Policemen torture students, take N20,000 bribe

victim-4

When Princewill Jumbo, a 300-level student of Rivers State University of Science and Technology, and his friends were returning to Port Harcourt from a burial in the Buguma area of the state on Saturday, little did they know that they were going to spend the rest of the weekend in police custody.

The friends are Iyoyo Soberekon, Charles Benjamin, Julius Abazie and Franklin Ordu, who is said to be a final year student of the institution.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the victims were arrested by the Anti-Cultism Squad of the state police command at a park in Buguma, where they wanted to board a bus en route to their residence in Port Harcourt around 5pm on that day.

It was gathered that the chairman of a motorcycle riders’ association had called the policemen on the telephone after an argument ensued between the victims and one of the riders who conveyed them to the park.

The police team, numbering about six, were said to have whisked away the five friends to their station on the ground that they were cult members.

Princewill, who spoke on the telephone with our correspondent on Tuesday, said the operatives undressed him and his friends and beat them with sides of cutlasses.

It was learnt that the victims, except Ordu who is still in custody as of the time of filing this report, were released on Monday.

Princewill said, “Franklin (Ordu) gave the rider N500 and requested N300 change, but the rider said he did not have change. His co-riders volunteered to split it but he refused. He said Franklin must find N200. That was how the argument started. As we were arguing, a man, who called himself the park manager, wanted to slap Franklin. We cautioned him and the next thing he did was to call the policemen on the telephone that cult members were disturbing the community.

“The policemen removed our clothes. We were left with only our boxers. They told us to lie on the floor and they started flogging us with the sides of cutlasses. They beat us up as we made our statements. When the beating persisted Franklin told them that he was a cultist. They later took us to the Swift Operation Squad office in Port Harcourt.

“Inside the cell, there is a 13-year-old boy, called Small. He told us he was arrested a few weeks ago around his house in Abonima and that his family members were not aware that he was in police custody. Others we met there said they were just picked on the roads.”

Twenty two-year-old Princewill said he was in pains, urging that the policemen, who assaulted them, should be brought to book.

“I don’t know their names but I can recognise them,” he added.

His father, Mr. Progress Jumbo, said, he parted with N20,000 because the policemen threatened to implicate Princewill.

He said, “The policemen asked me to pay N20,000 or else they would send a letter to my son’s school that he was a cult member. That was the threat they used to extort the money from me. As a father, I had to succumb to their threat. Why should I allow my son to be rusticated for no reason?”

Princewill’s sister, Mrs. Peace Asoka, said, “The authorities need to know about this incident so that the police can stop harassing innocent persons. The policemen involved in this should be brought to justice. They collected N2,000 from me before I was allowed to see my brother in the cell.”

Benjamin, one of the victims, described the incident as “embarrassing”, and demanded Ordu’s release

“They kicked my face before they used the cutlass on me. They did not behave like policemen,” he added.

The Rivers State Police spokesperson, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni, urged the victims to come to his office for the identification of the policemen involved in the alleged assault.

“As for Franklin (Ordu), somebody has to stand as a surety for him before he can be released. The person has to sign an undertaking that he will be of good behaviour henceforth,” he added.
