This has gotta be the most bizarre twist I’ve heard of all September – a child was born to a man who was once a woman who got pregnant by a woman who was a man and they want more!
The couple made history last year when the transgender ‘father‘ fell pregnant by the trans ‘mother‘. And now, four months after giving birth to their first child, Fernando Machado, who was born a woman and his partner Diane Rodriguez who was born a man have revealed they want to expand their brood.
The new parents, from Ecuador, have opened up about life with their new baby after becoming the first transgender couple to fall pregnant in South America.
‘Being a mother was never something I thought I would do because I am a transsexual,’ Rodriguez said. ‘The law before demanded that to be recognised as a woman you had to be castrated.’
The couple have kept their fans updated with the pregnancy journey and even shared pictures from the maternity ward when Mr Machado gave birth in June.
‘We live as man and woman. I’m a transfeminine woman and Fernando is a transmasculine man. The process to get here was complex for each of us, she said’.
Ace Nigerian comic act, Basketmouth has once again talked about the recent robbery incident at his home in the Lekki area of Lagos State revealing that, gracefully, his children were unaware of the robbery incident because they were asleep all through the encounter.
He told Saturday Beats:
“I will rather not talk about the robbery incident because it is in the past now. I just thank God nobody was hurt. My kids were asleep throughout the incident so that is something to really thank God for as the trauma would have messed them up for a while.”
When he asked what fame has robbed him off, the ace comedian simply said it was his privacy but he was quick to add that he would not change anything if given the chance.
“I have been robbed of my privacy and the freedom I had. The fact that I must be very careful with everything I say and do is a bit of a pressure. However, I wouldn’t trade the journey for anything. I won’t change a thing,” Basketmouth said.
An Italian TV presenter has been a subject of criticism for wearing a crucifix and rosary beads while reporting the news.
According to Daily Express, Marina Nalesso, 44, has worn the religious accessories on several occasions during broadcasts on Italy’s state-owned channel TG1. The Venetian journalist, now based in Rome, often presents the 1.30pm slots.
She said her reason for wearing them was ‘for faith and to make a statement’. More photos belowHowever, Marina Nalesso was slammed on social media by people saying she should keep her religious symbols for private occasions.
Her biggest attacker was Silvio Viale, a radical atheist and member of the Democratic Party in Turin.
He wrote on Twitter:
“Even today at TG1 the arrogance of a presenter wearing a rosary around their neck.”
Another critic wrote:
“Religion MUST be a private act. Leave rosaries at home, don’t take them to a public TV channel.”
Another tweeter who was critical of her actions said:
“Since when is TG1 with the Vatican? Rosaries and medals everywhere.”
Others moved to defend the journalist for her decision, one Twitter user wrote: “Veil yes… but crucifix no?”
RAI, the country’s national public broadcasting company, permits religious symbols to be worn by newsreaders, despite demands from some quarters to have them banned.
There’s nothing but that sense of joy when you finally accomplish a really long term goal! Twitter users, @Quezzy_quell and @Loveyan_ tied the knots yesterday and this very cute photo of the ecstatic husband grabbing his wife’s bum is currently trending on tha web!
Quezzy, the groom said he had waited for 6 years to finally own all that buttload – just immediately after he had his marriage papers signed, he grabbed his woman and went for it.
Yet another twist has occurred in the alleged slush accounts traced to former First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan.
According to her counsels, two of the accounts among the 5 in dispute belong to Dame’s late mother, Madam Charity Fyneface Oba.Mama’s Peace’s counsel, Mr. Charles Ogboli, also admitted that only three of the five accounts in dispute could be traced to the ex-First Lady and her mum.
At press time, it was gathered that Mrs. Jonathan was in Abuja where she was strategising on how to win her case.
The ex-First Lady’s counsel spoke on the Channels Television discussion programme, Sunrise and said:
“That is not true. The First Lady did not hold five accounts. They are three accounts. The First Lady was the signatory of one account and the mother was a signatory to the other two accounts.
“These accounts were not on a company’s name; it is on a personal data name of the First Lady. If you check, the BVN showed clearly on a personal name.
“And if you go through the BVN, it shows that it is her personal account; it is not connected with the companies facing trial.
“The First Lady was never privy to the companies standing trial. The money that is in the account ($5 million) should be left to the First Lady.”
Responding to a question, Ogboli added:
“I am explaining on behalf of the First Lady that this is what transpired.”
He maintained that the former First Lady had protested between 2013 and 2014 against the use of unknown companies to open accounts for her by the former Senior Special Assistant (Domestic / Household and Social Events to the former President), Dr. Dudafa Waripamo-Owei Emmanuel.
He said:
“What I am trying to say is that the domestic servant, Dudafa, who was asked to open accounts, went ahead to use a company’s account which the First Lady discovered and said I am not part of this.
“She said ‘I am not a director of this company, neither am I a shareholder. I did not present any certificate of incorporation, I didn’t ask them to open any account using a company or companies’. The discovery was made between 2013 and 2014 and immediately she kicked against it.
“ So, you don’t link her with the company that she does not know anything about.”
There were also indications yesterday that some senators of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a meeting on Thursday, where they vowed to back the former First Lady in her suit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the freezing of about $19.8 million in her accounts.
A source told TheNation:
“Some PDP Senators have been meeting on a daily basis on how to give support to Mrs. Jonathan. They even met on Thursday and the battle will involve a bit of propaganda too.
“At the appropriate time, we will reveal the identities of the affected senators based on intelligence report. The corrupt will always protect their own.
“Some of these senators are even the ones bankrolling a part of this battle between the former First Lady and the EFCC.”

Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola has revealed why she cries effortlessly in movies. According to her it is easy for her to shed tears because she is a very passionate person.
“I cry out of frustration. When I am upset, I cry. I am one of those people that cry easily because I am a very passionate and emotional person. If I am frustrated, I can cry. If I am angry and you ask me to explain myself, I would cry, I am that kind of person; so I cry regularly,” she said.
The actress further revealed that she is not throwing in the towel any time soon when it comes to her career because it is the reason for her existence. She added that there is only one reason that would make her quit acting.
“I have several mummies in the industry and I am like them. I have Taiwo Ajai-Lycett who I know would act till the day she dies; I know Joke Silva would act till the day she dies and I will act till the day I die. I can never get tired or walk out of this profession. Acting is my reason for being; it is one of the main reasons for my being,” Akintola said.
A kidnapper in Rivers State has led a police team to the bush where they kept a prominent Rivers Chief after he was kidnapped, then later killed and buried despite his family paid N10m ransom for him to be freed.
The kidnapper and other members of his hang where later nabbed and was asked to lead them to where the chief was buried.
They are all presently standing trial for the murder of the chief at the Rivers State High Court. Talk about evil deeds! Even after ransom?
A Nigerian man identified only as Afunsho, has been buzzing on social media after he took to his Snapchat to share photos of a N15 million Mercedes GLA250 luxury car surprise he bought for his wife because she passed her driving test.
A video of a Ghanaian pastor, Apostle Job Antwi is causing a major internet meltdown following his claim that he is a pure virgin and has only kissed some women.
Apostle Job Antwi, self proclaimed head of an all ‘Virgin Prophets’ association in Ghana also noted that he has never had sexual intercourse but he ejaculates.
The pastor’s group who is the leader of the 10 Virgin Pastors Association also noted that because of his virginity, once he prays, his prayers go straight to God.
The 10 Virgin Pastors Association which he said preaches peace and win souls for God while maintaining sexual purity makes its new intake swear with the bible that they’ve “never had any sexual encounter with a woman before you are ordained.”
The latest unconfirmed gist heating up the social media is about former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, who is spitting fire on EFCC for freezing her accounts containing about 6.3 billion Naira, claiming that she is being deprived of her right to her hard-earned money. Yes o, however you wan look am, she worked for that money!
Why are people suddenly upset? Isn’t it the same Naija people who have been shouting, “bring back our corruption”, since the country slipped into recession? Dia ris God ooooo!!!
Since 1978 or so, we have been living on corruption money, and hailing the thieves. Haba Naija, I tire for una. Abegi make we hear word and make we read something useful on this social highway. Una dey provoke say dem see billions for Mama Peace account.
And so?
When will we ever learn? Yes, a country deserves the kind of leadership it gets because those who rule us are from amongst us, they are not from Ghana or Togo. How many times will we let a thief into our house? The first time should be enough. The second time, lets take that as one chance. The third time means we are stupid. If we, the followers are not like our leaders, why haven’t we done anything to stop the looting of our resources??
Countries that don’t have brave youths, prosecutors, fearless judges, good policing and fearless citizens will instead, have plenty of thieves, many killers and even stupid leaders. Since we have settled for people deceiving people and it has become our way of life let’s roll over and die or accept everything we see that assaults our intelligence and impoverish us.
Wetin???
For if you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners to be corrupted from their infancy, and then punish them for those crimes to which their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded from this, but that you first make thieves and then punish them?
We have been living on corruption money long before now and we didn’t care.
I know that looters will be looted, while time and tide will make most of us mercenaries . For long, our leaders have used deception and misdirection as their tools. We don’t believe in hard work, when a false face and a good line of bullshit can do so much more.
As for us the masses, we are all waiting for our turn to steal something from some place, Kai, our mumu is vexing me joor.
So how can we effectively create this new dawn when most of us are all guilty.
Now Baba has come to fight corruption, but I can swear that he is alone in this fight. Because most of the people in his kitchen are corrupt. Yes o.
Till there are grave consequences for people who break the law, people who steal public funds, known corrupt people who are till today in leadership positions, nothing will change. This too will come to pass and nothing go happen. Dem go settle, and back to business as usual.
Has anyone one been thrown into prison since this war on corruption started? My people, abegi, make we use our brain.
I just pray that one day one day, there will be no hiding place for people who ruined this country.
For those who took what they didn’t earn, may judgement await them! It is only from then that things will begin to truly change.
Highly endowed Bolaji Ogunmola is an up and coming actress who has everything going for her; the looks, voice and charisma.
Bolaji was part of the Next Movie Star Academy and since then, she has continued to pursue her passion for acting relentlessly.
She talks about career, her definition of love and more in this interview:
BY ADERONKE ADEYERI
Your experience at the Next Movie Star Academy?
It was a great experience and that was in 2013 if I am not mistaken. When you go for any reality show, one should understand that at some point, someone will be shown the way out irrespective of their outstanding performance. I was also evicted because I was troublesome.
An actress recently said her big boobs brought her to limelight, should we expect such statement from you some day?
Anything could push anybody to say anything. I am pretty, tall, confident and have a beautiful smile. So mine will be a combination of many things and not my big boobs alone.
Nollywood often celebrates light-skinned actresses, do you see your skin as a barrier in your career?
Not any longer. We are gradually leaving that myopic belief. I believe my craft will sell me.
(Cuts in) But we have many actresses who were dark-skinned when they came into the industry but have turned light-skinned over night?
I am saying this categorically that I do not support bleaching in any form.
Any man in the picture?
I am single but not searching. I am independent and working hard to make money.
Will you agree that finding love for a rich lady might be difficult ?
A true and complete man should not be intimidated by a woman’s success. In fact, a man should help his woman become more successful.
Don’t you think this is one of the reasons why we have many spinsters in Nollywood?
I totally disagree. These actresses have not just met the right man. Regardless of your chosen career, the right man will find you someday. We have A-list actresses who are married with kids. A good woman will meet her own man at the right time. We have men who will never settle for actresses for one reason or the other. But my point of view is this, it is not what you do, but who you are.
What will you never be found doing?
I am very spontaneous. I will never say never. Please, don’t make me shoot myself in the foot.
Secrets of sustaining healthy relationship?
Discovering one’s self is key to sustaining a healthy relationship.
Your definition of a successful movie?
A successful movie is that which impacts positively on the viewer. A movie people can remember for a long time is a successful one.
Intimate things about you?
I am left-handed, like light-skinned guys, very emotional, can’t date a poor man and would have preferred having a bigger butt.
Are you saying if a man has all the attributes but poor, it’s a ‘no’ from Bolaji?
Relationships are about responsibility. A man can’t have all the qualities of a good man and be poor. A woman should not date or marry a man who cannot be responsible for her. It goes both ways anyways. It’s better to be single than cutting corners in a relationship. If a man has all the prospects but poor, then his goal at that time should be finding money and not a woman. If you can’t take care of your partner, then the relationship is faulty.
Can you quit acting?
I can’t quit acting for anything.
What if your boyfriend asks you to quit?
My boyfriend has no right over me.
Many actors seem to be living a fake life, why?
It is not our fault. Being a celebrity is an illusion of somebody who is perfect and we are not. Meaning, we have to act being perfect.
How often do you have sex?
I don’t have sex and will remain like that for as long as I can hold it.
Why?
That is the way I want it .
An actress once said, it is better to have sex outside a relationship than having sex in a relationship and suffer heart-break. Your take?
I am very emotional and as such, cannot sleep with a man without any form of commitment.
Will you leave if your man cheats?
I will be stupid to do that. There are other ways to punish a man. I won’t give him the chance to be free.
To what length can you go for love?
Today’s love is realistic. It’s past the Romeo and Juliet thing. Love is mutual understanding.
Future plans?
That is setting up my own production company, settle down and have kids.
Anything new?
There is the film with the titled Mami water from C.J Obasi and I am really excited about it.
We reported on Thursday that the members of a vigilante group from the Igbanonmaje area in Benue State arrested an Okada rider identified only as Daniel who is a resident of Ogiri Okoh Street in Otukpo, on Wednesday after he allegedly r*ped an 8-year-old girl in his room on Ogiri Okoh Street, to a point where the girl became unconscious.
It was gathered that the suspect poured water on her to resuscitate her, after which he sent her home. The girl’s mother became suspicious when the she came back home walking with her legs apart, and the girl explained that Daniel forced himself on her after he had told her to help him buy food.
The victim’s mother was said to have raised the alarm, after the girl said Daniel inserted his manhood in her and did not know anything again. “She said by the time she woke up in his room, he saw the man pouring water on her,” a resident told Saturday PUNCH.
After vigilantes in the area were reportedly alerted, they went in search of Daniel who is a native of Ado Local Government Area of the state, and arrested him a few hours later and handed him over to the police.
He confessed to the vigilantes that even though he had tried to r*pe the girl, he left her alone because he could not penetrate her.
“Because my manhood was too big for her, I could not penetrate and had to leave her alone,” he told the vigilantes, and also denied raping the girl to the point of coma.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident, stating that the victim was now in police custody, adding that investigation was till ongoing on the case.
There was tension in the University of Ibadan on Friday as a threatening message that purportedly emanated from a group, al-wilayat al-Islamiyya Gharb Afriqiyyah, was circulated among some staff of the institution and on social media platforms.
According to the message, the group threatened to bomb the school before Independence Day on October 1, 2016, saying that students and staff were their targets.
When contacted, The Director of Communication, UI, Olatunji Oladejo, dismissed the threat, saying it was the handiwork of mischievous individuals who wanted to cause commotion in the school.
Our correspondent gathered that while some lecturers got the mail through their institutional e-mail addresses, others were copied through social platforms such as Whatsapp.
In the mail, the group described the university as an embarrassment to Nigeria for bringing western education.
It was observed that security arrangement was strengthened at the school gates with scanning devices deployed while stop and search was conducted on everyone entering the school, leading to a gridlock.
The letter read in part,
“You people are an embarrassment to Nigeria and are the people that brought in western education to Nigeria. You doomed this nation and in turn you all are going to be doomed. Most of you are going to die before Independence Day. You will not spend the Independence Day in peace, you and your students.
“Detonation will start going from tomorrow till Independence Day and there is nothing you can do as we are among you. Even your little searches at the gate won’t do anything. By the time we are through with you, your government will be sorry.”
Speaking on the alleged threat, Oladejo said like others, he also received the letter, while saying that it had not affected the peace of the school.
He said, “I also got it. Anyone could instigate such thing. Some people could be mischievous. Our international students are having their carnival on the campus and everywhere is peaceful. I attribute it to the handiwork of mischievous individuals and vehemently deny any commotion.”
Police Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Adekunle Ajisebutu, told our correspondent that the command had received information on the threat to lives and property on the campus and had responded appropriately.
He said, “We have received the information. The state Commissioner of Police, Samuel Adegbuyi, working in concert with the other security agencies, has put in place all necessary security arrangement to forestall such an ugly incident.
“We have deployed our intelligence officers to provide adequate security in the school. As it is, it is still a rumour but we don’t want to take things for granted and because of this, we have provided adequate security, not only for the school, but for the people of the state.
“We enjoin members of the public to go about their lawful businesses and to be law-abiding.”

A Nigerian man who was at the verge of being the victim of a 419 scheme has shared his awkward experience with a lady named Cynthia on a popular Nigerian online forum.
According to him,
“Just wondering why some girls feel very comfortable to ask people for money online and refused to do what the people say.
“I met this girl few days on Insta chat and we got talking only for her to ask me for recharge card the next day… She flashed the hell out of my phone for the card which I sent to her, not because I feel for her trick, just wanted to see where it will all lead to.. So I sent her 500 airtime that day.. Then I did not talk to her yesterday.. Only for her to hi me on whatsapp today and this happened”
About 21 Nigerian prostitutes with some as young as 16 who were taken to Ibiza for the tourist s*x trade, then beaten with brooms and sticks if they didn’t bring in €1,000 (N475,000) a day have been rescued by police.
The victims who were lured to the Spanish mainland with fake promises of jobs, were forced to work 14 hours a day, DailyMail reports.
Police revealed that one of the women was as young as 16 years of age. They were caught in the exclusive districts of Ibiza, Spain.
The latest break came after Spanish police in association with the Office of Criminal Investigation in Germany and Europol carried a major operation against prostitution.
‘The network captured very young victims among the lower classes of the major Nigerian cities, deceiving them with false job offers in Spain.
‘Once in our country, they were forced into prostitution in marathon days, being beaten if they did not earn the money demanded by the gang,’ said a police spokesman.
They were kept in one apartment and only allowed out occasionally to buy food or to keep an appointment with a client.
‘If they didn’t earn 1,000 euros a day, they would be forced to kneel for hours and beaten with sticks and brooms,’ said the spokesman.
The living condition of the victims left nothing to be admired as 17 women were forced to share one apartment of just 30 square metres, with three to four girls sleeping in one single bed.
The vulnerable women were given employment offers ‘too good to refuse‘ in view of their poor circumstances but once captured, were unable to escape. They were subjected to voodoo rituals and sworn to loyalty contracts under the threat of family members being killed.
The women were smuggled into Europe on boats and planes and were only told their job offer was false when they arrived in Spain. They were then told they would have to pay up to 50,000 pounds to be freed and could do so through prostitution.
Police successfully arrested two women said to be the ringleaders who had ‘years of experience‘ in recruiting vulnerable girls. Police said they took elaborate steps to avoid detection, often moving the women from house to house.
One of the gang was arrested in Germany where he had tried to hide and five others were found to be members of the 1960s cult called ‘Supreme Eiye Confraternity‘.
The money earned from prostitution was sent to Nigeria via Madrid where a bar was used as the front. Seven properties were raided in Spain and Germany and 20 bank accounts blocked.
If you don’t know Iceberg Slim, well, I won’t say he’s that prominent with his “music career” but I can tell you that he’s one with cooking beef… You can ask our Chairman, M.I Abaga, who served it to few years back.
In an exclusive interview with Punch Newspaper, the musician, Olusegun Olowokere better known as Iceberg Slim, slammed two of his colleagues, Peter Okoye of Psquare and Phyno, agitating another beef as he accused them of copying his “hairstyle”.
The singer is signed to Tiwa Savage’s ex husband, TeeBillz’ 323 Entertainment. He tells the publication his voice and his hairstyle are the unique features that distinguishes him from other musicians, pleading with them to stop duplicating so that he can have his own brand identity.
He is quoted as saying:
“I don’t sound like anyone else, from my accent to my tone and diction. I try to constantly reinvent my hairstyle, so that I do not look like anyone else either. So far, these two things have been distinguishing factors.
“When I started the MoHawk in Nigeria, I saw the likes of Phyno and Peter (P-Square) replicate it. I later changed my hairstyle and decided to just do one single braid going to the back, now I see X-Busta and a few others have reproduced it, once again. If they weren’t entertainers, this would probably be fine. Well, I’ve changed it yet again! Please, no more copying,” he said.
He went to disclose that he draws his inspiration from notable superstars like Drake, Kanye West and Tuface… lauded the Nigerian music industry, affirming that it has definitely come a long way.
He said:
“I’m honestly impressed at the level of success and global recognition we have achieved thus far. It can only get bigger and better with time.”

A man in the Atebubu area of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, has accused a teenager, Yasaa Iba, of allegedly impregnating his goat.
Narrating the bizarre ordeal to kasapafmonline, the owner of the pregnant goat, Kwabena Nindoo revealed that some residents of the area had earlier caught the young Yasaa having sex with the said goat. According to Mr. Nindoo, Yasaa fled before he could be apprehended, leaving behind only his bicycle.
Asked how he established that it was the young man who impregnated his goat, Mr Nindoo said, after the ‘torture’ the goat had been subjected to, he intentionally kept it in a safe place and never saw any goat coming near it until he realized that the animal had taken seed.
Mr Nindoo who was angry about the despicable act has made an official report to the Police and the Chief of the area about the matter.
The Chief and his elders who have taken the issue not lying down, set today, to sit on the matter and determine what action will be taken against Yasaa, if he’s found guilty.
A heartless 22-year-old man yesterday confessed to the Accra Central District Magistrate Court that he killed a seven-year-old girl at Ashaiman, near Tema and had sex with her corpse. The incident happened in Ghana.
The man identified as Lucas Agboyie, alias “Sympathy” revealed that he strangled his victim after she had refused his advances and even begged him not to have sex with her.
“I then took her to my room and slept with the body repeatedly,’’ Lucas said, to the shock of the audience in the packed courtroom.
He revealed that on the day of the incident, he smoked marijuana, right after which he saw the girl passing by his house.
“It was a Sunday morning and after taking ‘ganja’, I saw the girl passing. I called her and sent her to go and bring me my towel that had been hung behind my house. On her return, I told her that I wanted to sleep with her but she refused.
“I held her hand and she began struggling with me. She begged and told me to let her go and started screaming. So I strangled her.
“I then took her to my room and slept with the body. Afterwards, I took the GHC20 she had in her possession and used it to buy ‘ganja’,” he said.
The shocking revelation left the victim’s mother in tears. Agboyie has been charged with murder and is currently going through committal proceedings at the magistrate court, a prelude to the actual trial at the High Court.
Mobile telecommunications giant, MTN, on Friday categorically denied bribing Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, or any government official for the reduction of the N1.04 trillion fine slammed on the company by the Federal Government.
The Chief Executive Officer of MTN, Ferdi Moolman in a statement said reports going around that it paid N500 million to get the fine reduced are not true.
”MTN Nigeria has no knowledge of this and the allegation is therefore denied.
“The MTN Nigeria fine was ultimately settled with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC),” he said.
The NCC reduced the fine to N330 billion and allowed the company pay till May 31, 2019. SaharaReporters earlier reported that Chief of Staff Abba Kyari allegedly collected N500 million from telecommunications company to help reduce the fine imposed on it by the Federal Government.
According to the online news medium, concrete evidence that the shady activity took place has been presented to the President.

The latest news has been tagged a double celebration as the governor’s re-election was overwhelmingly upheld by the Appeal Court in Abuja yesterday.
In a hurry to submit their answer booklets to invigilators, some candidates forget their expo (materials used for examination malpractice) in the booklets, the West African Examination Council has said.
The council also noted that some other candidates use different answer booklets from its authorised copies.
Its Public Relations Officer, Mr. Demianus Ojijeogu, who confirmed this in an interview with our correspondent, however, added that the council had reduced the incidence of impersonation in its examinations through its biometric registration process.
He said:
“We encounter malpractice during the examination and during marking. Some leave the expo in the answer booklets. We see that all the time. Others use other answer booklets different from the council’s own. But, we discover these things during marking because the booklets do not have our serial numbers and they are not usually signed by the supervisors. Supervisors usually sign the booklets before they are given to the candidates.
“We have been able to handle impersonation through our biometric process but there is still collusion where candidates will copy exactly the same answers usually dictated by a teacher. We have our invigilators but the number is limited. When you leave the centre or before we get there, they will do what they want.”
He added that the council was still dealing with challenges of collusion, which involved teachers aiding candidates during examination.
Ojijeogu, who said that some candidates harassed supervisors, noted that the development had forced the council to adopt a more discreet approach in making announcements regarding examination malpractice.
“We no longer make noise about examination malpractice because examination supervision is a hazardous job. When candidates engage in malpractice, we just take their number and they fill a form. Some of our workers have been held hostage, female supervisors have been harassed. It is a hazardous job,” he added.
