Reggae Blues singer, Harrysong has every reason to be grateful for the gift of life.
The Five star music star and his crew were reportedly involved in a ghastly motor accident along Owerri-Onitsha expressway yesterday.
According to Instagram user Ms. Adunni, Harrysong and his crew members were on their way to Owerri to catch a flight to Lagos when the accident happened.
Harrysong was supposed to perform at the Opening Gala night of Project Fame season 9 which held yesterday evening but couldn’t make it after the accident.
The singer, who was in Delta state yesterday morning for his OneDelta Pre-concert and orientation talk, took to his Instagram hours after the accident to assure his fans that he was doing fine.
“At one point I thought I was crossing over to the other side. But No, God still ve (sic) great plans for me, yes he saved us and am grateful. Stay strong” he wrote.

First son of late actress, Henrietta Kosoko, Taiwo Olowu, who is known as LT in music circles told Sunday Scoop, that he did not release his latest single, Mama, because he wanted to capitalize on his mum’s demise to promote the song.
“I did something to celebrate mothers. The song is a celebration of life and death. I didn’t do this song to advance my career, it is to express myself. We all have different ways of mourning. I am not using her death to sell my music. I have been an artiste before now and my late mum was supportive of my career before she died,’’ he said.
Twenty-seven-year-old LT started music is 2009 and released his first single, Se Jeje, in 2013. He is one of the twin boys late Henrietta had before she got married to actor, Jide Kosoko. His twin brother, Kehinde, is also a music producer.
When asked about Jide Kosoko and the attendant drama that followed the burial of his late mum, LT said the relationship between the two is not his business. “The relationship between my late mum and Jide Kosoko is not my business. Therefore, my opinion does not matter.”
He went on to reveal that he is not close to Jide Kosoko but the veteran actor supports him in the best way he could. ‘He is doing what he can. We are not that close but he is playing his role.”
Taiwo who grew up in the Mushin and Bariga areas of Lagos, said he still misses his mother and her smile.
Delectable Yoruba actress, Taiwo Aromokun, last April, revealed that she was no longer married to the father of her twin children.
In a chat with Sunday Scoop, she said her twins are not missing their father because they talk to him regularly.
“Why should they miss their father?’ she asked rhetorically followed by a long pause. “They talk to him every day and they get whatever they want from him,” she said.
The actress who became popular for her role in Arewa Okunrin, said she was not in a hurry to return to acting full-time, because she is currently preoccupied with raising her children.
“Acting is a demanding career. I am taking my time and only doing jobs that will give me time for my boys. When we go on locations, we spend days before coming home but for now, that is not what I want for my kids. So, I only take jobs that will make me come home to them,” she said.
When quizzed about maintaining her standard of living and raising children in view of the fact that she only accepts to partake in few movies, the ebony-skinned actress said her savings have come in handy.
She said, “I didn’t spend my money at the frequency at which I made it. I set aside a lot of money for times like this and I still have some unreleased jobs with my marketer which is fetching me money.”
Recall that yesterday, photos of the boy chained around the neck with a huge padlock and held captive in the premises of the Celestial Church surfaced on social media.
Safe in the custody of the state yesterday, the boy finally spoke up and narrated how he was maltreated by his own people.
“I was not fed regularly when I was chained. My father and my step-mother only fed me twice a day. Some days, I was not given any food. I want to go back to school because I want to be a doctor in the future. I also do not want to go back to my father’s house,” the boy said.
Korede was reportedly chained inside a room in the church since January of this year, and his rescue was made possible by neighbours who tipped off the security agents. And now, his father is on the run.
Punch adds that the boy chained was accused of stealing and running away, and so to ‘cast out’ the ‘spirit’, his father chained him and left him in a room in the church premises. His father also reportedly took the boy chained to a river to bath him this May.
“It is true that I stole a pot of soup and bowl of eba in our house,” the boy told Punch. “I also stole in the neighbourhood. My father’s inability to give money to my step-mother for the upkeep of the family caused it. But I promised not to go back to my old ways.’’
And he adds that his parents stopped him from attending his Onse Community Primary School after he tried to take food from a vendor in the school. “I still want to return to school. I want to be a medical doctor,” he said.
Meanwhile, the victim’s stepmother, who has been arrested by the police, told the press that she had warned her Celestial Church pastor husband to desist from such punishments.
“I usually warned him concerning the way he chained Korede. I had reported him to his twin brother, Kehinde, who lives in Ota, and I also reported to a friend of his,” she said.
“When the two talked to him, he would relax a bit, but as soon as they left, he would return to his old ways,” she continued, adding, “we got married three years ago but I learnt that he was once married to a woman from Benin, Edo State.
The woman, I was told, bore him four children- two boys and two girls. I only saw the woman in a picture, I have never met her physically. She was said to have left nine years ago, shortly after she gave birth to Korede.”
“All I have been doing is to beg him to stop stealing, as such act does not portray the family in good light.”
Confirming the update on the Celestial Church of Christ case, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the police are currently searching for Korede’s father. He also added that the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Abdulmajid Ali, had taken over the case.
He said:
“The police operatives of the command attached to the Onipanu Division rescued Korede from where he was chained on the neck to a heavy log of wood in a room by his biological father, Pastor Francis Taiwo, for more than a month.
“The stepmother of Korede, Kehinde, who has been arrested by the police, revealed that Korede’s father’s cruel act was connected with the habit of stealing exhibited by Korede.
“The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of zone 2 Command, Lagos, who is presently on the ground in Ogun State, Abdulmajid Ali, has condemned the pastor’s criminal and inhuman act and directed that the matter be properly handled, while the fleeing pastor be apprehended without delay.
“The AIG has ordered that the young boy be given proper medical attention. He will soon be handed over to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Ogun State for necessary action.”

When love knows no bound, a wheelchair appears like a throne. Beautiful blogger, photographer and nurse, Lizzy O and Amen’s epic love story has been on people’s lips since its first appearance on BellaNaija.
Their story sounds like those on fairy tale books, only it has a happy ending. Amen had first heard about Lizzy and wanted to meet her because he was thrilled by her story; she started college at 15.
That wasn’t all, Amen eventually met the adorable Lizzy and instantly fell in love with her. Then tragedy struck! Lizzy got involved in an accident that sent her to a wheelchair, but that didn’t discourage Amen, it even made him love her more.
They got engaged in November 2015 and with the help of Lizzy’s photographer colleague had a pre-wedding photo shoot that screams “hey! I am on a wheelchair but I am still hot.”
Looking at the story of Lizzy and Amen, one would summarize their friendship in one song. Read Excerpts from their love story.
Amen(The Groom):
I liked Lizzy when I heard about her, fell in love when I saw her. I finally met this Lizzy immature at the movies on an unforgettable day in 2007. I was leaving the theatre with my brother, D-mite and other friends; while, Lizzy was just arriving with her best friend, Faith.
She is the perfect combination of pretty and outgoing that brings the excitement to my life. Case and point, when I got home I mustered enough courage to add her on Facebook Lol (FB was the in thing for college folks back then). However, after she accepted my friend request I shied out again and did not talk to her. Lizzy wasn’t having it lol so she sent me a message first (even though she wouldn’t admit, I think she was interested too lover was all the fuel I needed to step up my game.
Lizzy and I have been dating for over 8 years now and it has been one of those growing experiences that keep getting better with time. I remember when we first started talking. It was non-stop Facebook (FB) messaging and back and forth poking (I don’t get why FB poking was so fascinating then). Our conversations will go to the wee-wee hours of the night with no topic off limits. We could start at family and end in politics or music and end at school (I wish y’all could get a glimpse of our banter, it is for the fonder). My favourite thing we would talk about is our faith and the Bible.
Now, throw in Lizzy’s live to the fullest personality amongst her other attributes; I’ve found exciting companionship in enjoying the fullness of life. I want this forever so I invested in a ring and I went to ask her father for her hand.
Lizzy (The Bride):
Meeting Amen for the first time at the movies during Spring Break of 2007, I was just so happy to finally know someone else who was really young and in college. We met through our mutual friends at the movies and it was just a very regular meeting FOR ME! I was there with my bestie and I kept trying to ship her with Amen because they both had similar body build back in the day. I would call both of them and force
I would call both of them and force three-way phone calls after 9pm when it was free. My bestie was NOT having any of it but I seriously thought Amen was amazing and really enjoyed chatting with him and that was the beginning of it all o. Though I thought so highly of him, it never occurred to me that I should date him. Amen didn’t express bluntly that he wanted to date me, so we were just friends, and friendship was all that I thought and felt. I liked him, enjoyed chatting with him a lot and was so free with him that I’d find myself sharing intimate details about my life with him. We’d be on our Facebook walls chatting for hours and talking on the phone almost every single day back then (Amen’s calls/texts are amongst the reasons my dad had to switch our mobile plan to unlimited everything –
Amen didn’t express bluntly that he wanted to date me, so we were just friends, and friendship was all that I thought and felt. I liked him, enjoyed chatting with him a lot and was so free with him that I’d find myself sharing intimate details about my life with him. We’d be on our Facebook walls chatting for hours and talking on the phone almost every single day back then (Amen’s calls/texts are amongst the reasons my dad had to switch our mobile plan to unlimited everything – Lol… I love you Daddy!).
Conversations with Amen were so fluid and I eventually stopped trying to put him and my bestie together when it became apparent that they both wouldn’t get past their age difference and when Amen explicitly showed that he was interested in me. Well, as a fine girl who was also equally stupid, I told Amen I only liked him as a friend and would even tell him about other boys I was talking to. He’d listen like a champ and just tell me to be careful. He gave me selfless advice and was always so understanding.
The crazy thing about the whole thing however, was that no matter how many guys I connected with or talked to or tried to make it work with, I’d always compare them with Amen and not be fully satisfied with them. The relationships I tried to make work with other guys somehow ended up not working due to one reason or another.
Amen continued to be my very good friend whom I knew I wanted in my life forever, but wasn’t into like that. Talk about friend-zoning before it became a word. I am however not proud of myself for treating him as just a friend all those.
In his teenage years, Amen was already on fire for Christ, always included God in everything he did and I just didn’t want to ruin him by being his girlfriend. We were 18 and I thought to myself that we had the whole world ahead of us, and there was just no reason to fully commit to dating someone I knew would want a long term relationship. About that same spring of 2008, I made it a life mission to get Amen to kiss me so that I could confirm our compatibility and then finally say yes to being his girlfriend.
Well, that plan failed miserably because Le Boo shut me DOWN and said the right way, or no other way. I’ll be honest with you, I was very disappointed and told him we couldn’t date if he wouldn’t even kiss me. Something I would later come to regret, because right after spring break 2008, I headed back to school in Oklahoma and it was on my way back to school that I got into a car accident.
As I was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and during my physical rehabilitation, Amen was the one constant person I’d tell everything to other than my best friend. I would share the nitty gritty details of what the doctors said was happening to me with Amen, and he’d go on the internet and read more about what life meant with a spinal cord injury so that he could better relate with me. Communication was the rock on which we started this relationship and we still talk about any and everything on the surface of the earth. I’ve learned so much from my love and I’m inspired by how hardworking, smart, God-fearing, kind and genuine he is.
After the car accident, Amen continued to make it a point to let me know that he was still interested in having me as his girlfriend – however I was just not having it because I didn’t feel like I deserved to be loved by him. We were friends and that was that. I wasn’t willing to automatically accept his proposal to date me after the car accident. As a matter of fact, the car accident became a MAJOR reason why I was determined that dating Amen just wasn’t going to happen. First, was because I felt like I was damaged goods and second was that though we chatted frequently and I was already falling in love with Amen, he hadn’t visited me in the hospital, and only came to the rehab once.
We remained friends and I went back to college in January 2009. Living a new life with spinal cord injury and in nursing school, I’d share everything with Amen! We’d Skype, call each other and were basically inseparable. We shared something we knew was deeper than we could put a label to, but we both knew we had to define our relationship and make progress in life.
As I was healing from the physical trauma caused by the car accident, I was also healing emotionally and coming to terms with the fact that God had given me a second chance at life and at Love. Praying together, laughing together, crying together, and doing everything together, I came to realize that Amen is my blessing from God and if I ever had any moment of doubt of how much God loves me, all I had to do was look at Amen and I’d immediately be reminded that I am blessed beyond what I deserve.
Amen asked me to officially be his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day year 2009 and with all the love and joy in my heart, I said YES! Did I mention we eventually had our first kiss and it was EVERYTHING? Ok, TMI… but everything I ever worried about regarding dating Amen was so insignificant looking back on it now. Having officially dated for 7 years, LAWWWDD I AM SOOOO ready to be his wife!
Having officially dated for 7 years, LAWWWDD I AM SOOOO ready to be his wife!
I am so in love with Amen and although our story is not one of boy meets girl, both fall instantly in love, I am surely grateful for where we are right now. I’ll continue saying to him and to anyone who cares to listen that I wish I could change so many things about our journey, but deep down inside of me, I am just JOYFUL that it was still OUR Journey.
God made me for Amen, and made him for me. I love my handsome, God-fearing, very smart hot milk chocolate. I am so ready to get married and live the life God has planned for the both of us. I cannot wait to build our life together forever and I’m so glad that I stopped wasting time and listened to everything I was feeling when I felt the confirmation that Amen was the man for me.
A cargo train on Friday crushed a truck belonging to Lafarge Cement and a Toyota Camry. The accident occurred at a railway crossing at Kila, a border town between Ogun and Oyo States.
The train was said to have ran into the two vehicles at the level- crossing line, causing damage to them and injuring the occupants.
The Lafarge truck with number plate BDG 287 XE was loaded with cement. Sources said the truck was travelling out of Abeokuta while the Toyota Camry with number plate RSH306KM was on his way to Abekuta.
The drivers of the truck and the Toyota Camry sustained minor injuries. They were said to be recuperating in a hospital in Ibadan.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, said that the incident was caused by the driver of the train, who failed to hoot while approaching the level-crossing line at Kila.
He said, “We got information that the accident was caused by the driver of the cargo train who failed to give the usual warning signal by hooting while approaching a railway level-crossing line.
“Both the driver of the Lafarge truck and the Toyota Camry were injured and they were said to have taken to an unnamed hospital in Ibadan.”
Akinbiyi said the accident led to a gridlock in this axis.
The NSCDC had said in a statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday that its personnel rescued Taiwo Korede from the Celestial Church of Christ (Key of Joy Parish, Ajiwo) at Ajibawo in Ado Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State.
The statement said Korede was rescued while in chains, and that the case had been transferred to the appropriate authority for further investigation.
Three photographs, including one showing an emaciated Korede in chains, were attached to the one-paragraph statement the NSCDC sent to this newspaper.
Police later told a reporter that Korede was chained by the neck to a heavy log of wood in a room for “more than a month”.
The step-mother of the child
The spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the boy was chained by his own father, a pastor in the church, who is currently on the run.
But Mr. Adejobi said the rescue operation was carried out by “police detectives” following a tip off from a neighbour in the community.
“The police operatives of the Command attached to Onipanu Division, Otta, on Friday, 23rd July, rescued one Korede Taiwo, M, 9, from where he had been chained on his neck to a heavy log of wood in a room by his biological father Pastor Taiwo Francis, m, of THE KEY OF JOY CELESTIAL CHURCH, Ajibawo area, via Atan Otta, in Ado Odo Otta Local Government Area of Ogun State for more than a month,” he said.
He said the child’s step-mother, Kehinde Taiwo, who has been arrested by the police, accused the boy of stealing.
The claim that police rescued the boy could not be verified. The NSCDC was first to provide details and photos of the boy in captivity and after his rescue.
In what seemed an attempt to counter the police’s claim, the NSCDC released more details and photos of the rescue later on Saturday.
A statement by the NSCDC’s Ogun State PRO, Kareem Olanrewaju, said Korede was chained for repeatedly stealing soup prepared by his step mother.
“She reported to the Father who took step by chaining his hand and legs. This situation was on like that until a Good Samaritan informed NSCDC officials on surveillance patrol of critical infrastructure in the area, they immediately swung into action and ensure the boy was immediately rescued,” the corps said.
He said church members, led by the step-mother, Kehinde, had attempted to stop NSCDC officials from rescuing the boy.
“According to the information from officer in charge of Ado-Odo NSCDC Division who led the rescue operation, the boy had been chained for two weeks at the very Celestial Church of Christ (Key of Joy Parish) the boy was tired and pail, he was not able to talk when he was initially rescued. On getting to the church there was serious resistance by members led by the pastor’s wife Kehinde, but Civil defence Corps men insisted, and they were able to force their way into the church premises. The boy was actually under lock and key. They quickly took him to the office for necessary entries and documentation and proceeded to the General Hospital, Ota.
“The boy was bath and one Dr. Akintunde asked NSCDC officials who took him there to give him lucosade boost, they then called on whether to cut the chains so as to enable them administer treatment. Before NSCDC left the hospital, he has been responding to treatment as he has started talking. However, the Hospital Medical Director one Dr. Osinbajo who came later assures the Corps that the boy will get necessary medical attention needed.
“Meanwhile, the Corps has since liaised with the police at Atan, who promised to continue with the investigation and do all necessary things needed.”

Mrs Eunice Olawale met with an untimely death on Saturday, July 9.
On the 22nd of July 2016, at about 10:30hrs at Ajibawo in Ado odo OTA division 2, NSCDC officers rescued a boy named Taiwo Korede aged nine years who had been chained for weeks at Celestial Church of Christ key of Joy Parish Ajiwo in Ogun State.
This heinous crime that has attracted the attention of well meaning Nigerians was announced on Facebook.
From the pictures, the chains were sealed with a padlock without the keys being available. The security operative had to cut it with a saw.
The case has since been transfered to the appropriate authority for further investigation.
Just hours after popular Yoruba actress, Lola Alao, publicly announced that she had converted from being a Christian to a Muslim, lot of critics have trailed her sudden decision to dump Christendom.
In a recent chat with Saturday Beats, the actress said she wondered why there should be so much frenzy that she became a Muslim as she disclosed that she came from a Muslim background.
“I don’t know what the hullabaloo is all about. I am from a Muslim background. My father was a Muslim. My grandfather was Muslim. My father was Lasisi Alao. There is no big deal in this. The religion is not new to me. I chose to follow my mother before; and now I decide to go back to Islam, is there a problem?
“Fathia Balogun was a Christian but she changed. Bukky Wright was also a Christian and she changed to Islam and nobody has tried to crucify them. How come my own is different? I have not rested. I cannot sleep again. People are saying different things since they heard the news.”
One of the reasons speculated on why she changed was that she switched to Islam because of a rich ‘Alhaji’ who she wanted to get married to.
But the actress said:
“I am happily married, I am not looking for a husband and my husband is even a Muslim. I was even a Christian before he married me. Nobody forced me into this religion. Everything about me is usually people’s headache and they would just carry my matter on their head like gala (sausage).”

We are most definitely in love with this beautiful woman!
Late Nigerian music producer, OJB’s third wife, Korede Okungbuwa opens up on life with the legendary hit maker.
In a new interview with Tony Ogaga, she talks on how they met when she was a professional dancer, and before she knew it, they had tied the knot.
Read below:
OJB was buried last Friday. How are you coping with the aftermath?
I am still in shock. People already know him so I don’t need to sing his praises. Going by the kind of family we had, he was a man who managed his family, career, and friends seamlessly. I respect him a lot. He took care of all of us and struck a fantastic balance. I have a lot of respect for him. The way he coped with his family and still balanced it with his work was amazing.
A week before he died, he called to inform you that he might not make it. What was your reaction?
The actual words were ‘it is not well baby.’ I saw him (at the hospital) on Sunday before returning to Magodo, Lagos where I stay. We spoke on phone shortly after, and judging from the way he was speaking, I felt something was not right. So, I asked if he was okay and he said he was. A short while later, I received a SMS message from him, saying ‘it is not well baby’. I was in shock and I called him immediately, but he did not pick so I prayed for him. I was like ‘baby, please don’t give up’.
Some people say if OJB had taken his case to the media, he would have been saved. Was the decision to stay silent deliberate?
Let me thank all those who stood by us when he had his surgery. Nigerians showed us so much love. After we came back from India he was doing perfectly well, but after a while the relapse happened and we sat together as a family and decided that we should take care of it ourselves. It was OJB’s decision though. He was like if Nigerians helped him once he should be able to help himself the second time. He was not ready to go the whole hug again and that was what led to stories that we were selling property.
How did the romance begin for you and OJB?
(Laughter) I used to be a professional dancer back in the day and OJB’s studio, Sliverpoint, was like our home. His studio was like a home to all of us, as OJB took all of us under his umbrella. We had artistes like Ruggedman, Nomoreloss, Tuface Idibia, Jazzman Olofin, Abounce and De Simeon among a host of others. Jigga and I got very close and before you knew it, we got very intimate. God has plans for everyone. I did not marry OJB blindly. He was such a loving guy. I cherish every moment I spent with him. I have no regrets marrying him.
What was your happiest moment with Jigga?
Wow! We had a lot of happy moments. With Jigga, there were never dull moments. I was never bored; we could gist forever. He talked a lot. I remember after the surgery in India, there was a day we all went out, Mama J, Jigga and I. We were like let’s take a walk and get some fresh air. So, we were talking about Nigeria and stuff like that. That was so special for me. I realised that, as a family, we really had a beautiful thing going and I wanted to protect it.
You spent the last 10 years with OJB, what kind of man was he?
He was a loving husband and selfless lover who was always reaching out and helping. He gave and gave until everything was finished. He could sign off anything just to make you happy, and a lot of people took advantage of him, but guess what, they owe him even in death. He was emotionally connected to a lot of people whom he helped financially and otherwise. Even, some of the musicians he did stuff for, took away everything including the songs he co-wrote.
Would you say the entertainment industry gave him a befitting burial?
The entertainment industry and the Lagos State government did help him when he was sick. We are not Jesus Christ so when we die we should not expect the whole world to come visit. As far as I am concerned, the whole world visited, but I must confess we were so overwhelmed with visits and calls we didn’t notice everybody that came around. To say that the industry did not help is not right. You don’t judge people like that. You just let them be and let their conscience do the rest.
Are you still crying?
To God be the glory. He will always wipe away our tears. There is nothing you can’t overcome with Him by your side.
How are you coping having to raise two kids?
If there is anything God has taught me from childhood, it is to be strong. I have a very strong mother, God bless her. She let me realise that this world is not a bed of roses. When Jigga fell sick, he wasn’t coming around like he used to, so I had to play both mum and dad for our kids. I think he reared me for this day. It is not easy but I think it’s a phase and we will triumph.
What was the greatest advice OJB gave you?
It is to be strong. He always said to me ‘baby, be strong’.
When both of you met 10 years ago, what was the attraction for you?
He was kind hearted and he was a very beautiful man. We dated for like two years and then he proposed to me. He went down on a knee and asked me to marry him. I did not hesitate; it was a ‘yes’. I am a very straightforward girl and I knew what I wanted, so I just said yes.
Was there any time you felt like quitting the marriage?
If I say in 10 years there were no issues, I would be lying, because no relationship is perfect. But there was never a time we decided to just walk away. We never had a major issue that could have triggered that. We could really have tense situations but we never got that far?
What was the most amazing gift your late husband gave you?
My precious and amazing beautiful kids, Oluwadamilaji, my daughter and Ifebiyi Anthony (laughter).
Jigga was married to three beautiful women and we never heard that there was any quarrel. How did you all pull it off?
You know, to be honest I don’t know. I can’t say this and that were the things he did to hold everybody together. But what I can say is that if you are close to Jigga, you will know that he is a man you should respect; you will not want to cross boundaries, so we all respect each other and lived peacefully.
Could you recount your experience in India during the surgery?
Initially when we went for tests, we were all fit to donate, but then, I had just given birth to my baby girl through CS, so the doctors ruled me out. Eventually it was Mama J (first wife) that was the donor and I was asked to come and take care of them. In retrospect, I feel good about that opportunity; it bonded the family in a very unique way. It was an emotional time for me. That Jigga had to go through that process was heart breaking and seeing Mama Jay having to go through all that was hurting. There were nights she couldn’t sleep and she cried, and at such times, I couldn’t hold back the pain. So, we cried all through the night together and that kind of drew everybody closer. And all the while, June was taking care of the kids back here in Nigeria.
At the wake keep there was a strong bond among the children. Now that OJB is no more, how do you hope to sustain it?
Again, to be honest, I don’t know but if there is anything I believe, it is God; and I believe in peace and love. Mama Jay is like my big sister, June is my aunty and I am like t he baby of the family. We relate to each other with respect and we know we have kids involved, so we treat each other with love. We share the same vision.
Is any of his children taking after him?
Wow! OJB is such a blessed man. The first son, Ayokunle sings beautifully. In fact, the kids are a bunch of talent. I don’t want to talk about my son because I won’t shut up once I open my mouth. He is so brilliant. Whenever I see him I am like ‘thank God, you have your dad’s brains’. We are praying to God to take them to the next level.
Talking about immortalizing Jigga, do you have any plans?
We are not going to let his legacy die. We have plans to continue to promote his music. His management is working on it and we are giving them all the support we can.
The beautiful actress who was delivered of a baby boy precisely a week ago has dedicated her new born today, 23rd July, 2016.
The actress was bombarded with congratulatory messages after the photo of her above with her baby emerged online. We say congratulations to the proud new mum.
I am still very skeptic about this very bit— I do not trust a kid of this age can indulge in such unhealthy practices.
I want to believe that his parents probably deliberately gave them to him for a picture and it isn’t as real as purported to be. Even that why would any rational parent subject their child to such insanity?.
The plausible is, it is indeed the truth. The kid was enjoying an alone time with a puff and a can of beer.
Taken by a passer-by in the Russian city of Tyumen, in the oil-rich Oblast region, the child can be clearly seen lighting and then smoking a cigarette in what appears to be a toy car in a playground. The identity of the child or his parents has not been revealed, or whether the Police are following up the case.
This only means he has been exposed to this by whomever and it goes a long to tell us that kids are quick to adopt. You may think otherwise but this is an indisputable evidence.
The irony of this Kanye West‘s “Famous” track and video though – the theme was people being famous, and after the release of the video, people have really been becoming quite “famous”.
If you haven’t seen the video… well, let’s just say there was a lot of nude celebrities in it… don’t get me wrong though, not the real-life celebs but their wax figures… lol.
One of those celebrities in the video is the rapper’s ex, Amber Rose, who has also come out to say the rapper ought to have contacted her to seek permission before using a naked wax figure of her in his video.
She says he ought to have sought her permission just the same way he called Taylor Swift to ask for her permission before recording the song.
She said in a sneak peek of The Amber Rose Show:
‘So, I say all of that to say, why didn’t I get a phone call for using a naked wax figure in your video Kanye? I mean, Taylor gets a call but I don’t get a call. So please stay the f**k out of the news so I don’t need to talk about your ass anymore.’

A Ghanaian bride who shocked people by wearing sneakers to her wedding has explained why she did it.
Vera Ewura Obeng said the decision to wear sneakers on the day of her wedding to Festus Attah Isoah Iso was informed by her experience as a wedding photographer.
She said had noticed in her six years of taking pictures at weddings that brides were always uncomfortable in their heels and eventually had to replace them with something more comfortable during receptions.
Vera said she felt there was no point wearing different shoes for the wedding and reception, and so opted for the sneakers, which she said she wore for nine hours.
“What is the point in wearing heels to church and remove it during reception? I just don’t get it. If you want heels wear it throughout the event. I wore mine for 9 hours. I see brides complaining about the heels all the time,” she said.
Vera’s remarks came after some social media users mocked her for her odd choice of footwear.
Responding to those who described her wedding dress as too casual, Vera said she had opted for something simple that she could also wear to other events.
“I just don’t get the bit where I spend thousands of Mahama cedis on a dress I can’t wear again. I just can’t ‘think far’. Invite me to your baby christening and I will gladly come in it”, she said.
Vera stressed that she was not opposed to brides wearing heels to their wedding.
“I don’t have anything against wearing of heels and gowns… at the end of the day it’s all about choices,” she said.

The beautiful songstress, says she’s had enough of people attacking her over the years – she lashes out at her attackers who think she’s vulnerable and weak because she’s a lady.
This comes after she was accused of “stealing” her recent song “Work Hard” by a Nigerian producer.
Below is what she wrote below:
I have been patient with those who have been attacking me for years. Is it because I am a woman? Do you think I am weak and do not have a voice? I have my own self-funded company. I write and compose MY OWN music with my team way before I enter the studio as well as with any writer I may work with. I ALWAYS conduct business honestly with ALL of my staff members and anyone who renders me a service. You should know by now that I am not weak. You can not prey on me just because I am a woman. This is the #YearOfTheWOMAN. I speak for all women when I say that we should no longer take any form of defamation sitting down. Any one, and any company, trying to defame me henceforth will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You will see the power of God and His love work through me this year and forevermore. This is the first and last time I am addressing anything like this ever again. The service of song for the slain evangelist of the Redeem Christian Church of God held on Friday, July 22. The atmosphere was cold, even as people wept their hearts for the murdered pastor’s wife.
Mrs Eunice Olawale met with an untimely death on Saturday, July 9.
Below are some photos that tell the sad story and the situation at the service of song for the 42-year old mother of 7 who was hacked down by suspected extremists.
Distraught husband Olawale Elisha tried to recall all the details of that fateful day when his wife was hacked to death.
Mr olawale said:
“It was about 6: 30 to 7am. I was in bed, but I had woken up, from sleep. My children approached me and said that some footballers were discussing about a woman who was killed while she was preaching.”
He immediately rushed to his phone and began calling his wife but her phone was switched off.
“We (Olawale and his daughter) strolled down to the place, about two or three hundred meters away from our house and we saw people gathered. We passed through the place where she had been murdered, but we did not know.
We came back again and saw a police man. The officer confirmed what we had been told but said we should go to the Phase 4 police station. At that time, my daughter whose name is Jessica was already crying, but I tried to cheer her up and told her that the murdered preacher could not have been my wife.
As we were entering the station gate, we saw a police van coming out of the station. My daughter looked back and saw something at the back of the police van and suddenly she cried.
I then turned back and saw that part of my wife’s body was covered; from the chest upward. So we began to cry, I even fell and they carried me into the station,” Mr Olawale narrated.
This has got to be MTV Base’s Best Prank Ever! OR Did They Go Too Far?
Kiss Daniel is that latest celebrity to get pranked on MTV Base Africa‘s ‘The Bigger Friday Show’.
The singer came late for an interview with Stephanie Coker only for the production crew to get angry and start hurling insults at him. When it was time to put him out of his misery, he couldn’t take being the “butt” of the joke, he had to walk out of the set.
He almost cried after it was revealed it was a prank! Lol
This is terribly heartbreaking! A malnourished 9-year-old boy was rescued at Celestial Church of Christ key of Joy Parish Ajiwo yesterday, July 22.
The boy was seen chained (and has been like that for weeks) in the premises of the church which is located at Ajibawo in Ado-Odo Ota division 2. He was said to have been rescued by some NSCDC officers.
This is terrible! And they were able to worship God for those weeks with the little boy chained like an animal?
The man behind the web’s biggest piracy network has been arrested and charged with criminal copyright infringement and money laundering.
According to CNN Money, 30-year-old Ukranian Artem Vaulin, the alleged owner of the world’s largest torrent site Kickass Torrents, was arrested by the United States Government in Poland, where they had requested his extradition.
The Kickass Torrents is a commercial website that enables users to illegally reproduce and distribute hundreds of millions of copyrighted motion pictures, video games, television programs, musical recordings and other electronic media and has being in existence since 2008.
With millions of unique visitors per day, it is now one of the most-used BitTorrent portals online – even bigger than ‘The Pirate Bay’.
Alongside the arrest of the alleged site owner in Poland, a federal court in Chicago has ordered the seizure of Kickass Torrent domain names, in an attempt to close the site down.
In a criminal complaint filed in US District Court in Chicago , Vaulin has been charged with conspiracy to commit criminal copyright infringement, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and two counts of criminal copyright infringement.
The Federal Prosecutor in charge of the case, Zachary T. Fardon said:
“Copyright infringement exacts a large toll, a very human one, on the artists and businesses whose livelihood hinges on their creative inventions.”
Online piracy — essentially copying a digital file and sharing it — sucks revenue out of media publishing companies, which pay fees to the artists who create the work.
The U.S. government will ask the Polish government to extradite Vaulin to the United States, where he will be prosecuted. He’s accused of operating a website that allowed people to share movies, video games, television shows and music worth more than $1 billion.
