A lot has definitely changed about one of Africa’s finest pop groups, P-Square, made up of twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye.
Ever since the crisis in the family, during which the brothers were at loggerheads and threatened they would be going their separate ways, things haven’t been the same again.
For one, the brothers seem to have stopped making music together. The last work they have together is their ‘Double Trouble’ album which was released in 2014.
With the two-year gap that is usually between their album releases, P-Square is expected to release an album this year, but there are no indications that they have ‘hit’ the studio yet.
In the past, the brothers (especially Peter) used to upload pictures on their social media pages to show fans that they are working in the studio. But nothing of the sort has happened this year.
Peter, who is the most active of the brothers on social media, only posts pictures of himself, his kids, and his solo activities, with virtually nothing about the brand P-Square. On the other hand, Paul regularly uploads pictures of his artistes, Muno and Lucy, and talks about their activities like their songs and video releases.
In terms of the level of observable activities in the brothers’ record labels, it is apparent that Paul’s Rude Boi Records is more vibrant than Peter’s P-Classic Records. Peter was the first to establish his record label when he informally unveiled P-Classic Records in 2014.
He made the announcement on Instagram when he revealed that his cousin, Malcolm Obinna Clint Onyeyiri would be his first signee. Ever since, virtually nothing has been heard of the artiste and the record label.
Meanwhile, Paul only signed Muno as his first artiste in January 2016, and he (Muno) already has two songs, and a music video, which was directed by Paul. The First Lady of the label, Lucy, was unveiled a month later, and she already has two songs.
However, there exists a school of thought that believes the P-Square group is no more; and what is existing is merely a phantom. This school of thought opines that the brothers have basically broken up, but chose to stay together because of all that is attached to their brand as P-square.
Lagos state police command has apprehended a Chinese national over the attempt to assassinate his Nigerian business partner in Lagos.
The suspect, one Mr. Sunk Kun, who has been residing in Lagos for over 5 years, was arrested after one of the assassins who he paid N1.4 million to kill his business partner was nabbed.
Parading the Chinese man and the Hired assassin before newsmen in Lagos today, the Lagos state police commissioner, Fatai Owoseni, said majority of the money paid to the hired assassin has been recovered
“The Chinese national fellow who is in business with some Nigerians, happened to have business misunderstanding with one of the Nigerians and he thought the best way to resolve the business misunderstanding is to eliminate his Nigerian business partner. He had recruited a fellow who is his co-accused to go and help him recruit more people in order for them to kill the Nigerian business partner that he had a misunderstanding with and he had paid the sum of N1.4 million for the assignment”
When interrogated, the Chinese man said:
“This Nigerian man, many years ago, he did business with my company. He owed me money and is a fraudster. I don’t want to kill him but he wanted to kill me. This guy says he can do voodoo for me. The money is not for assassination, it is for juju”he said.
Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole, has come out to say that the change Nigerians yearned for during the 2015 elections is the one they are experiencing now.
The Governor says the Buhari led government who came into power on the change mantra, is correcting the mistakes of the past which will definitely take time.
While speaking at the national executive committee meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association on June 17th, he said:
“I know that right now, everybody is talking in the country. Is this the change we asked for? And my answer is Yes. It is the change we asked for. For all of us in this hall, you know that the challenge of fixing a house that has been destroyed is much more cumbersome than even building a completely new house because for the one that has been destroyed, you have to start by removing the debris. You have to check whether the foundations are weak so that you remove them. You must first do a lot of cleansing and excavation. That is what President Muhammadu Buhari is doing. And people expect that in 12 months you would have fixed what was destroyed in 16 years. It is simply not possible and in any case, you must also recognize that even the pressure on the naira is the result of the so much dollars that was taken out and it will require a lot of efforts at a time of collapsed prices and the challenge of oil export to fix what was completely mismanaged. So, I ask us as elite, we have a duty to explain to the Nigerian people: Changes will come, but they won’t come by trying to remove a house with smoke under. You must extinguish the fire and make sure the foundations are strong, and start the process of rebuilding gradually. Is this the Change we asked for? Yes. It’s the Change we asked for. There is no way miracles can occur in the life of a nation. The challenge of re-fixing the house that has been destroyed is much more cumbersome,” Mr. Oshiomhole said. Attachments area
Wife of the new Ooni of Ife, Olori Wuraola Adewusi, has reveled that she is not in support of the gender equality fight as she believes women have their own role.
At the Emerging Women’s Forum yesterday, held in Maryland, USA, she gave the controversial talk, slamming feminism.
She is quoted as saying:
“I am not a huge fan of Gender equality,” she said. “We can’t be equal, We can’t be men. We have our roles to play here, a very pivotal one.”
Also on her instagram page, she went further to explain her motion:
“Her Majesty went on to speak about the powerful roles women play and how women should tap into their powers by exploring themselves in order to reach extraordinary heights, as opposed to fighting for power with their male counterparts.
The modern pattern of feminism has succeeded in limiting women of the heights they could reach; gender equality is unrealistic. We can never be equal with men, we are here for a great purpose, we have our roles to play we are powerful and we are a force of nature.”
The Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has been invaded by the Ogun state police command over reports that people with questionable character use the auditorium as refuge.
In the raid which occurred on Thursday, June 16, 236 people inside the auditorium were arrested by the police, New Telegraph reports.
According to the state spokesperson, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the raid on the worship centre followed series of reports and intelligence gathering that people with questionable character use the auditorium as a safe haven after committing crime.
Adejobi said, “Our men carried out the raid in the early hours of Thursday after a series of report that criminals have taken the RCCG Auditorium at Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, as hideout.
As early as 2am, they arrested 236 persons, 165 are males while 71 are females.
“The suspects are currently being screened. Those who have genuine reason to be at the auditorium for prayer would be released while those who cannot identify themselves would be prosecuted,” the police spokesman added.
A teenage girl identified as Chizoba Maduegbunam, has been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly abducting a little child in the Oto-Awori area of the State.
The 17 year old suspect was nabbed by community members on Thursday while attempting to abduct the child and handed over to the police.
According to a resident, Maduegbunam was first taken to the palace of the traditional ruler of the area, the Oni-Ijanikin, who invited the police and handed her over to the law enforcement officers from the Ijanikin Division of the State Police Command.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Supol Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the incident, saying the case is currently under investigation.
It’s been roughly a month since these two controversial couples split up.
One can’t simply forget how in 2014, the foreign rapper admitted that he was dating the reality TV star – you just can’t forget how the rapper became part of the Kardashian clan, going with them on family trips and even starring on their reality TV show.
Well, since they’ve split, the rapper has something new to say, he says that his affair with the reality TV teenager caused a slip trip in his career.
Speaking in a radio interview with Big Boy TV, the Rack City hitmaker opened up about their split saying:
“When you’re in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently than that. Being in that it took a lot, career wise, everything. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things that I worked hard for.”
The father of one continued, telling the hosts that the split was mutual as the pair decided that it was “what needs to happen,” because they needed time away from each other.
“It got to the point where it was like, ‘I respect you, you respect me.’ I think it’s a mutual thing. This is what needs to happen,” Tyga added. “When something is so damaged or something is just not right, you can’t fix it in a moment. The only thing is time.”
While the musician said that he’s “single” and “enjoying life,” he also acknowledged the possibility of him and Jenner reuniting in the future, adding that they’re still friends.
“Maybe later on in life, maybe we might come back,” he said. “She’s young. When you’re young, you’re going to make mistakes. All of those mistakes are going to be in the public eye so that puts a lot of strain on the relationship. Right now, I want to focus on what I need to do. I just wanted to get back to just me. I think for her as well.”
Rising super star, Afro-pop artiste, Ekene Ijemba, popularly referred with his stage name, ‘Humblesmith’ has made interesting cum shocking revelations about his family background, childhood, music career, and the music industry.
In a recent chat with Showtime Celebrity, the Osinachi crooner said:
I was born and brought up in Ebonyi State. Music started for me when I was a kid, it actually runs in the family. My mother is a good singer; she is a chorister in the church, most times she sang at home, likewise other members of my family. Everything my mom does goes with music, at times, if she wants to talk to you she talks with music. All these and more got me inspired.
Also, I usually listened to Bright Chimezie and his contemporaries, so at a point music just became a part of me.
I started out as a dancer in 1996; I was part of a group called American Boys, we used to dance, sing and act. After my secondary education, I decided to relocate to Delta State to pursue my music career, my parents refused but I insisted.
Though before then, I had done some other things that made them finally support my decision. I partook in the first-ever Star Quest competition, I came second and I won a big flat screen TV. When I got back home with the TV and the crowd that accompanied me, my parents were overjoyed. It was at that point they knew that I was really bent on doing music.
So when I insisted I was relocating to Asaba in Delta state, they just had to support me.
Parental and family support
Parents usually love their kids to pursue a career that people will appreciate. As at that time my parents believed that doing music as a career was for wayward people, but I didn’t let that discourage me. I am from a Catholic background, so they didn’t want anything to distract me from going to church and probably become a priest.
My mom wanted me to become a Catholic priest while my dad wanted me to be a footballer because he is a football coach. I had to apply wisdom and diplomacy; I did everything they wanted me to do. I played ball, I served in church. I didn’t do it to please them; I did it just to be sure of what was actually going to work for me. I later discovered that I was born to do music.
I used to bring people home to convince my parents to understand that music is what I wanted to do. As time went on, my parents came to terms with it, so they had no choice but to support my choice of career.
Survival after relocating to Delta
After my relocation to Delta State, things were so rough for me. When I was still with my parents, I was known as a moi-moi seller. I and my siblings hawked moi-moi on the streets, that was how my parents were able to train eight children through primary and secondary school.
When I first got to Asaba I had to study the environment to understand the terrain and know what works and what doesn’t. I just had to think of a legit way to fend for myself because I had nobody to help me out there.
I hustled on the streets of Asaba, I made trending shoes, sandals, slippers, and belts and sold them to students and workers just to make some money to pursue my music career and equally fend for myself.
I remembered that when I was in secondary school, I was the drama director, so I formed a drama group, wrote scripts that portrayed current happenings in the society. I would then go to discuss with the principal of various secondary schools to allow us stage our play for students to watch after paying a small amount of money. I also used to do menial jobs like bricklaying, carrying sand and blocks. Wherever I see construction work going on, I will go there and beg to work with them for daily pay.
Also, if I see a bushy compound I will approach the owner and offer to clear the grasses for an amount of money. I hustled seriously on the streets to survive; it got to a point that I opened a video rental shop in Asaba.
I stole and sold my mom’s gold to pay for my first studio session, but I later confessed and apologized to her, promising to buy her more than what I stole in the nearest future.
Education or music?
For now I’m fully into music. I stopped schooling after my secondary school education, but I hope to continue, but that will be after I’ve made a lot of money, financially comfortable and capable of catering for my family.
I don’t want to stress my parents anymore, they have done a lot already so let me take it up from where they stopped.
New single with Flavour Na’bania
I have always been a fan of Flavour right from day one. My manager met Flavor in London, played my song to his hearing and he liked it. Though Flavor has always loved my song from when I did my first single Chairmoo.
Jukwese is a song I’ve done for some time now, even before Osinachi. I was unable to hook up with Flavour on time to jump on it so we dropped Osinachi, but thank God I was later able to get Flavour to jump on the single with me. I didn’t pay him a dime to feature on the song, he did it out of the love he has for my music.
How the stage name ‘Humblesmith’ originated
I used to have a friend that I usually hang out with; he was popularly known as ‘Humble’. Whenever I’m with him I’m quiet, I don’t talk, so his friends usually think I’m a very quiet and humble person. So they began to call me ‘Humble’ and the name just stuck.
So when I began doing music professionally, I decided to add ‘Smart’ to the name ‘Humble’ so derive a ‘Humblesmart’ as my stage name. But something funny happened when I went to perform at a show, the person who wrote my name on the list of artistes to perform wrote ‘Humblesmith” instead of ‘Humblesmart’.
When it was my turn to perform and I heard the MC mention ‘Humblesmith’, I began to wonder if there was another artiste bearing the name, but I was the one being called upon so I just climbed the stage and did my thing. After the show, I thought the name wasn’t bad so I adopted it as my new stage name.
Fans abuse on social media
No matter what you do people will always talk, but I want you to know that the number one thing I love are my fans. Whether I’m following you on social media or not has nothing to do with respect or love, and it doesn’t change me from being the Humblesmith that I am.
In life it’s a normal thing to try some things when you get to a certain stage. I un-followed everybody on Instagram including my sisters, because my management needed to work on my page. I don’t own myself, I have a label to which I am signed and I always need to obey them.
Most fans got angry and abused me because I un-followed them on Instagram, but trust me, I don’t hate anybody. Hardwork has brought me to where I am today so why would I want to spoil what I’ve built?
To all my fans that are angry, I say I am sorry. To handle stardom is not easy, there are a lot of people that just want you to obey them and it’s not possible to please everybody. I just want to appeal to my fans who have believed in me not to stop because Humblesmith won’t disappoint.
I need your support because there is so much in me that I am yet to discover so we are doing this music for ourselves. If you love me for Osinachi or Jukwuse, keep loving me because a lot
The latest issue of Genevieve magazine tales of Nollywood actress, Osas Ajibade (nee Ighodaro), how she has been coping with her first pregnancy for actor Gbenro Ajibade.
Though the mother-to-be says she would love to keep her pregnancy private, she admits the limelight is inevitable because of the career path she has chosen.
According to her:
‘This is my first child and I do not want people’s opinions or judgement at this time. I want to take back that power from the public and enjoy my pregnancy with all its challenges. Unfortunately, I am aware that this is the industry I signed up for and people will always judge,’ she told the magazine in its June 2016 issue.
Not wanting to jinx the pregnancy, Osas who tied the nuptial knot with her husband in New York on July 4, 2015 revealed she has had to stick to her mum’s superstitious instructions.
‘It is a very sensitive period for us especially with my older sister passing away from malaria when she was with child. My mum is really protective and she is on board with my keeping this pregnancy a secret,’ she said.
‘Losing a child is not easy on any parent so I understand why she is being protective. She even shared with me some Benin superstitions like putting a pin on my clothes to ward off evil and never telling anyone how far gone I am in my pregnancy and I am following her instructions to the letter. We know the culture we are in. Let’s be real, there are bad belle people out there so to protect this blessing we are going to enjoy this moment privately.‘
The lady seen in the photo above went from being a lesbian to a Christian. Emily @Emmsatt19’s testimony is trending right now on Instagram.
She wrote:
I came across this today and had to do a double take. She doesn’t even look like me. Her eyes look hollow. She’s dressed in a way that downplays the woman God made her to be.
The girl on the left had no hope in the world. She was lost and lived only for herself. You couldn’t have told her that though; she was getting high everyday, sleeping around with various women, and living like there was no God, all while claiming to know Him. She was living ‘the life’ and she was a heartbeat away from the punishment due her for that life.
The girl on the left was dead in her sins and trespasses. She couldn’t not sin because it’s all she knew and all her heart wanted. She could acknowledge there was a God and even claimed to read some of the Bible but she had no desire to obey it. Sin had her blinded to her need for forgiveness.
Thanks be to God that He does not leave His bride in her sin. Praise Him for He opens our eyes and allows us to see the mire that we’re wallowing in when He saves us.
Thanks be to God that He gives us His Spirit and causes us to walk in His statutes. I didn’t know I needed to be saved. I never foresaw that God would’ve given me the lot He prepared for me before the foundations of the world. Glory to God that it depends not on the will of man but on God when it comes to saving us. I would’ve never chosen Him had He not chosen me.”
It’s not new reports to us how famous comedienne, Lepacious Bose‘s weight loss programme has been quite an amazing and inspiring odyssey… All throughout this journey of hers, she’s been sharing each step of the way with her fans.
While most of them are thrilled and inspired on how determined and enthusiastic she is about losing her weight, a particular fan is not really feeling her as he says she’s playing to impress people.
Few hours ago, the comedienne shared the exchange between them.
“Everybody is not created to be slim. Stop hurting yourself to impress people,” the critic said.
Returning the favour ironically, Bose clapped back:
“Hurting myself ke? You have eyes but you cannot see. Who am I impressing? Smh,” she replied him, and then went ahead to drag him for filth.

Ayebameru and Olanike were billed to tie the knot the next day but the bride-to-be ended up in the kidnappers den where she cooled her heels for six days when she should have been on her honeymoon.
The wedding had to be put on hold by families of the bride and groom following the ugly incident. Despite the fact that the news of the abduction of the would-be bride went viral, some relations and well wishers, who were not privy to the ugly incident were taken aback for the wedding.
Vanguard gathered that, one of the gang member named Ayodeji, said to be physically handicapped was said to be the informant, while the wife, Adebimpe is their armorer. Police report had it that the bride was abducted in front of her house located at Mama Nigeria street, Ayeka via Okitipupa on a Friday together with her son and taken to an unknown destination until she was rescued a week after.
Police source hinted that the bride who had gone for shopping with her son in her Space Wagon car ahead of the wedding was double-crossed by the kidnapper.
Vanguard gathered that the groom (Ayebameru Agbeye ) who was informed by the parents of the bride reported the incident to the Okitipupa police divisional station and was referred to the anti-cult squad of the state command.
The son and a Mitsubushi Space Wagon car were later abandoned by the kidnappers to avoid being traced by security operatives, who were on their trail.
Vanguard gathered that the anti-cult squad of the Ondo State Police Command after six days busted the syndicate and effected the release of the bride. The wedding according to findings has since been put on hold after the temporary setback.
One of the suspected kidnappers, Phillip Ezekiel, who spoke with Vanguard when they were paraded confessed that their leader Ufoma Godwin, coordinated all the activities of the gang. Godwin is currently hospitalized following injuries he sustained during a gun battle with detectives.
Phillip said that the couple within the gang provided information on would-be victims while the wife (Adebimpe) keeps the weapon used during their operations.
According to him, the gang preferred abducting females just as he confessed that they have, March this year, abducted five women including the two catholic reverend sisters.
Share from the ransom Others kidnapped, according to him, include one Seun Fanegan, who was abducted in front of Mama Nigeria street, Ayeka via Okitipupa, while Ayewalehinmi Blessing was whisked away from at her residence at No 2 Ifedayo Street, Okitipupa.
Phillips while speaking with newsmen said N50,000 was given to him as his share from the N200,000 ransom collected from the family of one of their victims.
Pathetic and funny! A drunk customer who put down a $1,088 tip for a meal returned to the restaurant the next morning to ask for it back.
The unnamed man was dining at the Thailicious restaurant in Edgewater, Colorado when he tucked into a meal which was so good he wanted to reward it. But the waiter was stunned when the reward turned out to be $1,000.
He took it to his boss, Bee Anantatho, who was thrilled, but warned her staff to hold on to the money overnight. She says the waiter’s response was pure happiness.
She told the Denver Post:
He said he’d read a lot of stories like this, but usually the tip is a couple hundred dollars, not $1,000,” adding: “He was so happy.”
The next morning, the hungover diner returned with a red face.
“He said, ‘I’m sorry, I was drunk. He didn’t know he put all the money he had in the checkbook,” Ms Anantatho.
She gave the money back to him, and he gave her $100 to cover the dinner, about $60, and the rest for a tip.
Although disappointed for her staff, which thought it had earned a major tip, she’s content with the way she handled an embarrassing situation, making it easy for the customer.
Tragedy struck at the University of Lagos Waterfront end of the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos State, on Wednesday after a Mazda bus with number plate, AKD 292 XL, rammed into a stationary truck.
No fewer than nine people, including the bus driver, reportedly died on the spot.
Three other passengers, who sustained serious injuries, were said to have been taken to the Gbagada General Hospital, Gbagada.
The driver of the truck reportedly fled the scene after seeing the enormity of the fatality.
PUNCH Metro learnt that an angry mob, which besieged the scene, set fire to the truck and injured an official of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency.
Firefighters from the Lagos State Fire Service later put out the fire as the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, appeased the youths.
A witness and bus driver, who identified himself simply as Kunmi, said the incident happened around 10pm, adding that nine persons died.
Kunmi, who spoke in Yoruba, explained that the failure of the truck driver to put a sign on the road to indicate that his vehicle had broken down, led to the tragedy.
He said: “The bus was coming from Ajah/Lekki area en route to Oshodi. It was on the Third Mainland Bridge, moving toward Oworonsoki. There was, however, a truck that had broken down on the road. The engine was still running.
“The driver of the bus, who did not see the truck, rammed into it.
“People were not willing to stop their vehicles to assist the victims. I met some policemen on the ground. We used my spanner to break open the door. But the passengers were trapped. We wanted to use my vehicle to pull the bus from the truck, but we couldn’t. We later stopped another truck, which assisted us.
“A rescue agency later brought a sledgehammer that we used to open up the vehicle and bring out nine bodies, including that of the driver, Segun. The driver still had the fares he collected in his hand. He didn’t have a conductor. We left the scene around 2am on Thursday.”
An official of LASTMA, who spoke on condition of anonymity, however, claimed that eight people died, saying their remains were mangled.
The official said the Lagos CP gave some money to the family of the driver, who insisted on taking the body to Ibadan, Oyo State, for burial.
He said, “The driver of the bus was at top speed when he rammed into the stationary truck. About 80 per cent of the bus was crushed and that was why the driver and passengers on the first three rows died on the spot. Three people at the back, who did not die, lost their limbs.
“SEHMU wanted to take all the corpses to the mortuary, but the friends and family members of the driver insisted on taking him to Ibadan the same night. The Lagos CP, Owoseni, gave them some money and asked a police escort to follow them.”
The LASTMA official said a mob, made up of sympathisers and some hoodlums, set fire to the truck that caused the accident. He said the mob wanted to cause more destruction but the police boss urged them to be calm, assuring that justice would be served.
Duru Samuel Ikechukwu who was charged for failure to declare $86,000 out of a total sum of $96,000 will now forfeit the money and spend 6 months in jail.
He was arrested by officers of the Nigeria Customs Service at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu while travelling to China in December 2015 and was subsequently handed to EFCC for further investigation and prosecution.
When the case came up on Thursday, Duru pleaded guilty to the one-count charge preferred against him.
News Agency of Nigeria NAN, reports that the defence counsel Ikuka Kennedy pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy since the convict had shown remorse and a was a first time offender that had no past criminal records.
Justice Yinusa subsequently convicted and sentenced the accused to six months imprisonment from the date of arrest. He further ordered that the undeclared $86,000 be forfeited to the Federal Government, while the $10 thousand USD and his international passport be returned to the convict.
A Nigerian gynecologist Dr Anthony Madu, 45, has been asked to repay £75,620.73 within six months or go to prison. The doctor was charged after it was discovered he secretly carried out well-paid job while on paid sick leave from another hospital.
The Nigerian-born Madu doctor was convicted of six charges of fraud and given a two-year suspended sentence in 2014.
Daily mail reports that, Madu was given an obstetrics and gynaecology registrar post at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, in August 2009 but he was suspended and put on extended leave two months later over allegations about his conduct towards other staff and claims that he had falsified his training record.
From January 2010, he submitted sick notes on three occasions, saying he could not work because of stress. But he then went on to earn huge sums as a locum at four hospitals in Manchester, Yorkshire and the Midlands.
The prosecutor, Christian Jowett told Cardiff Crown Court that Madu, now living in Woolwich, London, transferred £95,000 to a bank account in Nigeria.
Mr Jowett said:
‘He was legally obliged to tell his employers about his work but he did not.
‘He was also legally obliged to tell two locum agencies he was on extended leave and had been granted sickness leave. But he continued to work and receive payment.’
Judge David Wynn Morgan said Madu will never be able to practise medicine in the UK again. After the hearing, Cheryl Hill, a counter-fraud specialist for the NHS, said: ‘This is a very satisfactory outcome.
‘Dr Anthony Madu defrauded the NHS of money which should have been spent on patient care.’
Imagine having to carry this failure all the days of your life. This is quite a sad failure that this individual will have to live with for a very long time, except he’d cover it with another ink or have an expert remove it.
Y’all see the mistakes on his arm yeah?! *dicisions, you’re, four* this is just too sad!

A woman, Adenike Mesioye(pictured), yesterday appealed to the Lagos State Police Command to rescue her uncle’s wife and daughter, who were allegedly abducted in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, and brought to Ikorodu, two weeks ago.
She was reacting to the arrest of Felix Silva, who allegedly masterminded the abduction of three Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary school girls, last March.
Commenting on a post by Lagos Police Command’s spokesperson Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent (SP), on Facebook, Mesioye said the kidnappers took their victims to Ikorodu.
According to her, the family has paid N5 million as ransom, but the kidnappers are still demanding N75million before releasing the women.
Mesioye said:
“Please, my uncle’s wife and daughter were kidnapped in Ijebu Ode about two weeks ago, and brought to Ikorodu side. After collecting N5m, they (kidnappers) are still demanding N75m.
“They (victims) are yet to be released. They told us that unless we cooperate, we can’t find them. The money was given to them beside sea (waterside) in Ikorodu. They used jetty to cross the river. Please help us.”
Asked if the family has complained at the division where the incident took place, Mesioye answered in the affirmative, saying the police have been searching for the victims and their abductors.
“We have done that. They are searching but the kidnappers’ calls always come from Ikorodu. The police searched everywhere but did not see them. But the day they wanted to collect the N5million, the kidnappers asked us to meet them beside the water. They said only one woman should bring the money and they told the woman that where they kept my uncle’s wife and daughter, no one can see them.
“That unless we cooperate, we will not see them and they can keep them where they are for a year without anyone knowing.
“They normally give them phone to talk to my uncle and they always used the wife’s phone to contact the family.”
Replying, Badmos expressed the command’s willingness to cooperate with its counterpart in Ogun to ensure the women’s rescue.
“Adenike Mesioye, eventhough it is Ogun State command’s case, we won’t mind partnering with them to rescue the victims. Kindly contact the IPO (Investigating Police Officer) in Ogun State to approach us. We are willing to help,” she said.
OJ Simpson will agree to a paternity test to see if Khloe Kardashian is his daughter – but only if she goes to see him in person.
According to Daily Mail Online it’s learned that Simpson wants Khloe to ‘show him a little respect’ and make a personal appearance at Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada.
He will agree to have a swab to his mouth which will provide the DNA sample needed to clear up the paternity mystery over the reality star.
Jeffrey Felix, a former Lovelock prison guard who wrote a book about Simpson, claims that the jail authorities have even given their permission for the test to go ahead.
He says that because the procedure was so simple they would have no problem letting Simpson find out.
The question of Khloe’s paternity surfaced again last week in a documentary about her father Robert Kardashian called: ‘The Man Who Saved OJ Simpson’, which aired on Reelz.
Kardashian died in 2003 of esophageal cancer.
Khloe, 31, was the third of the four children born to Kardashian and Kris Jenner but there has been speculation that she was adopted for years.
In the documentary Felix said that Khloe begged Simpson to do a paternity test to finally clear it up and now, speaking to Daily Mail Online, he revealed the disgraced football star’s conditions.
He said:
‘She has to go there and talk to him. He wants her to come out to Lovelock and visit him in person‘OJ will do it and the prison officials have told him they will allow it.‘It’s just a quick mouth swab and they would allow it to happen during a visit’.
Felix, whose book is called ‘Guarding The Juice’, added that Simpson wants Khloe to come in person to ‘show him a little respect’.
He said: ‘He wants to talk to her about some other things too, but more importantly like her he wants to know if she is his daughter’.
