Former coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has confirmed the sad and sudden death of his wife, Kate, in the United States. The deceased is said to have passed on on Wednesday.
Speaking to Completesportsnigeria.com, he revealed that his wife had been sick for a while but he never expected that the sickness would cause her to die.
She was ill for a while now and I’m still in shock of this great loss,”She is more like a sister to me and was the rock behind me and everything I do. My love for her was at first sight,” he said.

Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have said they aren’t interested in suggestions being flown by some Northern elders to the effect that Ndigbo would be allowed to clinch the presidential seat in 2019.
Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, spokesman of the IPOB, Emma Powerful said they are not interested in Nigeria’s affairs any longer.
The spokesman is quoted as saying:
“If politics of compensation was used to favour Obasanjo in place of June 12 annulment and was also used to favour Buhari in place insurgency, that is their own cup of tea.
But for us in IPOB, we are not interested in that politics of compensation whereby we are being told that an Igbo man will become Nigeria’s president in 2019 and we will begin to listen to them”.
“All we want or are interested in is to release our leader, Kanu and then allow Biafra to be and not Igbo presidency”, he stated.

Chidinma
With Tiwa Savage on a mandatory maternity leave after announcing she is pregnant on January 1st, 2015, we had high hopes that Chidinma will be the biggest winner from her absence.
The 24 year old music sensation instead didn’t do enough to become the force we expected her to be after winning the Project Fame more than half a decade ago.
Chidinma has dropped only one single in 2015, that says a lot about her intentions.

Empire character, Cookie Lyon has just been named the ‘Most Influential Fictional Character of 2015′ by TIMES Magazine.
The 16 people list was released today, and Taraji P. Henson came top of the list.
Cookie Lyon’s fierce character in ‘Empire’ was one that quicly got admiration from lots of fans across the world from the first day the show aired.
The magazine lists 16 characters from Glenn Rhee of ‘The Walking Dead’ to Christian Grey of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and Jon Snow of ‘Game of Thrones’.
Explaining why Cookie Lyon tops the list, TIME says:
“With her high-drama scheming and higher-drama wardrobe, the Lyon family matriarch (played by Taraji P. Henson) was the biggest draw on TV’s most popular new show, Empire, luring more than 13 million viewers a week. Nothing less than 53 churches with mosques and hotels are reported to have been shut down by the Lagos State Government over noise pollution and other environmental offences.
The General Manager of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, Adebola Shabi, disclosed that the agency had received persistent complaints from residents and neighbours of the shut facilities.
He also stated that some of the sealed worship centres were converted from residential apartments to places of worship, constituting nuisance to other residents.
The General is quoted as saying:
“In recent times, most of the petitions kept coming to us. It was as if we are not working at all. That was why we shut the facilities.
“You cannot have makeshift structures and say you want to be conducting services or vigils there. Definitely, you will be disturbing your neighbours. So, the government won’t allow the use of makeshift structures as a church or mosque.
“Nobody is allowed to make a noise above 55 decibel during the day in residential areas and only 45 decibel is allowed in such areas at night.
In industrial areas, 90 decibel of noise level is allowed during the day, while the noise rate must not exceed 80 decibel at night.”
