Popular Nollywood actress, Judy Austin has opened up to her husband, Yul Edochie about a dream, she had about becoming a nation’s president.

The mother of two shared this with her husband, who was the driver, during a conversation in the car.

According to Judy Austin, she dreamt that she stepped out of the United States of America‘s presidential jet, the Airforce One while an entourage of dignitaries welcomed her.

She continued to emphasize how perplexed and helpless she was to piece the dream together. Judy claimed that if she had been an American, possibly one with political ambition, it would have been a simple dream.

However, her husband chimed in and urged her that it might not necessarily be the president of the United States but perhaps that of her country, Nigeria.

Yul Edochie went on to say that a dream is the start of reality and that his wife only needs to work to make the dream come true. She was relieved to have the puzzle pieces fit together as the pair gleefully laughed over it.

“In this dream baby, I had a dream I was coming down from, What do you call the name of the president’s jet .. Airforce one! I was coming down from Airforce One with dignitaries greeting me standing there. I’m like, I don’t understand what is happening. I was even confused in the dream too. I don’t understand it. The former “Wild ‘N Out” star tragically passed away in Miami on Wednesday, May 31, following a recent surgical procedure aimed at sculpting her body.

Her family confirmed the devastating news in a statement that reads, “It is with sadden hearts we share with you that Jakclyn aka MsJackyOh has passed away on Wednesday, May 31st 2023. “Our family is still processing this very tragic and unexpected loss; we ask that you please give us privacy during this time.”

Some Nigerian celebrities who hail from Akwa Ibom state have lambasted animal rights activist and ‘president of dog lovers association’, Jackie Idimogu, for criticizing popular chef, Hilda Baci, over her viral dog meat video.

Recall that Hilda recently caused a huge stir online after showcasing various traditional delicacies originating from her state, including a plate of dog meat. She went on to encourage her friend, Enioluwa, an influencer and food enthusiast, to give it a try.

This didn’t sit well with many who called her out for encouraging the consumption of dog meat, and accused her of supporting animal cruelty.

Jackie also went online to heavily criticize Hilda for eating dog meat despite members of her group and their dogs coming to support her during her cookathon.

Reacting to her outburst, BBNaija star Queen Mercy Atang, also from Akwa Ibom state, knocked Jackie for castigating Hilda Baci and challenged her to change their custom if she can.

“Come and change our culture for us na😂Culture that’s NAFDAC APPROVED😀mbok ku yad esit oh. Try leave Hilda and our 404 alone for us Mbok❤️💡”, she commented.

Actress Eve Esin wrote, “Abeg I no listen finish🚶‍♀️I eat 404 wella.”

Comic actor Okon Lagos, who is also from Akwa Ibom state, faulted Jackie’s logic, stating that it’s pure witchcraft to attack Hilda for an age-long food culture.

He wrote, “Who’s this one sef? Ok Madam Cloutina, before you began inciting western hate on Hilda, you should have first of all known that there is no proof that the meat on that table is dog meat. Most things on social media aren’t real. Second, even if it is dog meat, Akwa Ibomites and Cross Riverians eat dog meat and there is NOTHING wrong with it. They don’t eat pet dogs, but wild dogs. It’s either ones hunted as game in the forest or the local breeds that are somewhat wild, strayed and launch indiscriminate attacks on unsuspecting passersby. It’s not an ape that we are talking about here, that is a primate and in the same family with humans but lesser animals. If it ts, then one may make a commonsensical case for cannibalism or something close. It’s a dog and not a pet dog like you are carrying to chase clout with. People eat pythons and other kinds of animals which are pets to many. I’ve seen many Python pets in Florida. So should a protective movement be flagged off for all animals? Are you vegan? Even if you are, what if someone comes with a claim which is a arguably a truism, that plants have life and deserve to live and it is cruel and destructive to life to allow it end up as food just because u are at the top of the food chain? As much as this is a mischievous and selective justice for animals, it is also broad day light witchcraft to put a clog in someone’s wheel of progress.”

Animal rights activist and president of My Dog & I group, Jackie Idimogu, has lambasted Nigerian chef Hilda Baci over her trending video with dog-meat.

The 26-year-old, who gained popularity after she cooked for four days nonstop in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual, has raised eyebrows following a recent video she posted on social media.

In the video that caused a massive stir, Hillda is captured sitting at a table with influencer Enioluwa and showcasing various delicacies from her state, including dog meat.

The clip showed Enioluwa expressing reluctance at tasting dog meat for the first time, while Hilda tried to persuade him to eat it and even tried to force-feed him.

Reacting to the video, in a video shared on her social media page, Idimogu accused Hilda of cruelty against animals.

She faulted Hilda for eating dog meat despite members of her group and their dogs coming to support her during her cookathon.

“Members of the My Dog & I group wore their shirts to go and support Hilda; dogs were present at the cookathon to support Hilda. I know that there were about two or three dogs because when my group members went there, they made sure to take pictures and videos of every dog there.

“Now, imagine my surprise this evening, scrolling through Instagram, and then I see on a news blog that this same Hilda posted that she is eating a dog.” Idimogu said.

She said she was initially skeptical of supporting Hilda during her cook-a-thon when she heard she was from Akwa Ibom, but decided to give her the benefit of the doubt because she thought the chef was exposed.

“Hilda, in her infinite mercy and wisdom, thought that the best thing for her to do after the world celebrated Nigeria through her relentlessness And now that the torchlight of the world is on Nigeria through you, you decide that what you want to show the world is that Nigerians are dog eaters? No, no. I’m making this video to refute the fact that Nigerians are not dog eaters.” Idimogu added.

Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke has taken to social media to joyfully celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary with her husband, filmmaker Austin Faani.

This comes one year after the mother of four went online to announce the end of their marriage, stating that she is done pretending and living a lie.

On Thursday, June 1, Chacha shared a video from their wedding ten years ago, and praised her husband, whom she described as her bestfriend, for sticking by her through all of her manic episodes.

“Today, 10years ago. I married my best friend. 1st June 2013 💍❤️
To he who has brought me great luck and fame, he who catches me every time I fall, my calculator & puzzle fixer in moments of confusion, my warrior in moments of weakness, the reason I am a mother, the reason I am still a Mrs. I say THANK YOU!!! A rare video of Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife Chioma in their house has surfaced online.

The video, which was shared on TikTok on Monday, June 1, by a young man who seemed to have paid the couple a visit, is now trending and has garnered reactions from fans.

The adorable video captured the couple sitting together on a couch, engrossed in conversation while being filmed.

As Davido sat beside his partner, he playfully stretched out his legs to play with a puppy that approached them.

In the comment section of the man’s post, netizens shared their thoughts on the video. Some questioned whether he had obtained the couple’s permission to share it, while others noted that Chioma appeared to have lost weight in the footage.

You will recall that the pair were reported to have secretly tied the knot following the tragic demise of their son Ifeanyi, but it wasn’t confirmed by either of them.

However, in a chat with popular media personality Kiekie, Davido confirmed his marriage to Chioma.

A South African woman, Sivenathi Toto, has been left paralyzed and brain damaged following a brutal attack by her boyfriend’s rival.

The 23-year-old victim, from Lawaaikamp, in South Africa, was viciously assaulted and left for dead by the suspect named Shaun Madonono, also 23, on August 26, 2022, Women for Change reports.

According to Toto’s cousin Nosikhumbuzo Mhlaba, the motive behind the attack was revenge.

“Her boyfriend went out and apparently had a fight with the suspect. After the fight, the suspect allegedly returned to the boyfriend’s house to take revenge,” said Mhlaba.

When Madonono arrived, Toto’s boyfriend was not at home, and she was sleeping in his outside room. Madonono allegedly broke down the door and dragged her to his home, where he attacked her brutally.

“He grabbed her and dragged her to his house two streets away, where he allegedly beat her until she was unconscious,” Mhlaba said.

After she lost consciousness, Madonno put her in his pickup truck and dumped her behind the Total garage in Nelson Mandela Boulevard. Fortunately, she was found by a petrol attendant at night.

She was taken home by a neighbour who filed a report at the police station, after which she was taken to hospital for medical examination.

Madonono was arrested on the same day. However, he was released on bail and is currently facing charges of assault with the intent to commit grievous bodily harm, kidnapping and housebreaking.

Since the attack, Toto has suffered different health complications. In December 2022, she suffered a stroke due to the trauma and injuries caused by the incident. In April 2023, blood clots were found on her brain.

Toto has lost some of her cognitive abilities, she can’t walk without assistance, she has lost control of her urinary tract movements, saliva drips from her mouth, and she has to be fed.

“She can’t talk and she has night terrors,” said her father, Simo Toto. “She only wants to sleep next to me. That is where she feels safe.

The victim’s family are currently seeking justice for her.

Guinness World Records reacts after Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci cried out over delay in verifying her cook-a-thon

Guinness World Records has responded after Nigerian chef Hilda Baci cried out about the delay in verifying her cook-a-thon.

Recall that Baci embarked on the cooking marathon in an attempt to break the world record for the longest cooking time by an individual.

She achieved this feat by cooking nonstop for four days, surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by Indian chef Lata Tondon on Monday, May 15.

The 26-year-old restaurateur from Akwa Ibom set a new record of 100 hours, but her achievement is yet to be verified by Guinness World Records.

According to them, they need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record.

Taking to her Twitter handle on Monday, June 1, Hilda Baci revealed that she had submitted all the evidence and has been refreshing her email constantly for the latest response from Guinness World Records.

“Not me refreshing my email every second since we submitted all the evidence to Guinness World Records,” she tweeted.

In response to Hilda Baci’s post on Twitter, GWR revealed that their records team is currently reviewing the evidence.

“Our records team is working on it,” the official Twitter handle of Guinness World Records replied Baci’s tweet.

The proud mother of two took to her Instagram page to celebrate her son, Festus, ahead of his 24th birthday and seized the opportunity to inquire about when she would be meeting his girlfriend.

Popular Botswana pastor, Seraki Kemmonye Seraki, has taken to his social media page to address critics who say polygamy is not as ‘pretty and nice’ as he portrays it on social media.

Responding to followers, Seraki who is proudly married to two Wives, reacted to his Facebook post on Thursday, June 1, said that fights and rivalry are part of polygamy and he has never made it look easy.

In his words ;

“I never said polygamy is easy. I mean, I live polygamy daily, I know it’s ups and down. I am not the standard of polygamy, my failures and successes do not guarantee anything to any other person out there,” he said.

A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions after she shared her unique love story.

In a video she shared on social media that has since gone viral, the lady narrated how her relationship with her husband started.

She revealed that she initially started off as his side chick while he was involved with another woman. However, within two years, her position changed.

According to her, when she met her husband in 2018, she made the decision to stick around and not let go, despite his involvement with another woman.

She proudly declared that she “stole” his love and eventually won him over completely, leading to their marriage in 2020.

Celebrating her 6th year in a romantic relationship with her partner, she noted that he hasn’t changed and has remained the sweet and loving man she fell in love with.

“2023:And here we are my darling..It feels really good to call you my husband❤ it’s been 6 years with you and you’ve never changed a bit..you’ve remained that sweet and loving man I’ve always known..No wonder I couldn’t let go. I fought for you and I won”. She wrote in part.

The lady, who goes by the handle @Hydonii, had taken to Twitter to respond to a tweet asking people to share conversations they’ve had with their parents.

In response, she said her father makes it difficult for her to have a conversation with him because of the way he condemns and judges her lifestyle.

Popular Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, professionally known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed that he has called off his engagement with his mystery fiancée.

Kizz Daniel, who unveiled his partner and the mother of his children for the first time in March 2022, made this disclosure during a recent chat with media personality, Angela Yee.

He also revealed that he now has three sons. “I have three [sons] now [laughs].” He said.

A Nigerian video director, who was accused of rejecting a video vixen because of her skin colour, has finally reacted to the allegation.

The model, identified simply as Ewa, made headlines few days ago after she revealed that she was rejected by an artiste because she didn’t match the ‘aesthetics’ of the shoot.

She stated that she felt so humiliated and disrespected by the artiste and his crew, stating that they should not have booked her for the video shoot if they didn’t like her physical appearance.

Though she didn’t reveal the identity of the artiste, the video director in charge of the shoot has gone online to address the allegation.

The director who goes by the handle @bushboymarc explained that they meticulously selected a model from an online portfolio. However, when she arrived, she looked significantly different from her online profile, leading them to make the decision to request an alternative model.

His words,

“This is such a heartbreaking and false narrative. As a video director, I carefully selected models for this shoot (through an agency) based on their online portfolio and pictures but the reality was starkly different. The model didn’t match the vision or the storyboard so I had to make the difficult decision to request another model. This had nothing to do with skin color, as I value diversity and inclusivity. I even took out time to speak to her and compensated her for her time. It’s disheartening to see this narrative being twisted into an issue of skin color. Let’s focus on celebrating talent, professionalism, and the power of visual storytelling.”

Bolatito Adegoke, the wife of the slain Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Ile-Ife MBA student, Timothy Adegoke, has revealed that he had plans to relocate their family abroad before his tragic death.

Bolatito made this revelation in an exclusive interview with Punch.

According to the mother of three, her husband had intended to move her and their children overseas while he remained in Nigeria.

Speaking in Yoruba, she said, “He had promised to take us all overseas, and he would remain here. Our children attend expensive schools, and he had promised to take them out of Nigeria after they finish their primary six class”.

The family of Timothy finally received justice on Tuesday, May 30, when the owner of Hilton Hotel in Ile-Ife, Adedoyin, and two others were sentenced to death by hanging for Timothy’s murder.

Timothy Adegoke, who was pursuing his postgraduate studies, had traveled from Abuja to Ile-Ife in November 2021 to write his examination. He had planned to stay at the Hilton Hotel throughout the examination period. However, he was reported missing by the police on November 7, 2021, when his friends and family couldn’t reach him.

Following the alarm raised by his family, the police initiated an investigation, leading to the arrest of the hotel owner, Ramon Adedoyin, and six employees
