Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has stated that marriage is just an institution and not an achievement.
Sharing on the microblogging platform, Twitter, Reno counseled people not to feel incomplete without marriage and expressed his opinion that marriage did not complete anyone.
According to him, a person is complete because of who God created them to be, not because of who they are with.
He added that a life without a spouse or children was still life and should be enjoyed.
He wrote;
“Marriage is an institution. It is not an achievement. It does not complete you. It should not even complete you. You are complete because of who God made you, not because of who you are with. So if marriage comes during this brief gift of time that we call life, grab it and be happy. But if it does not arrive, leave it and still be joyful. Life without a husband, wife, and children is still life. Enjoy it!”

Nigerian gospel singer, Tope Alabi, has come under heavy criticism for a song she performed during a recent ministration.
The renowned music minister, known for her powerful indigenous soul-stirring lyrics, recently performed in a yet-to-be-identified church.
In a video of the performance that surfaced online, the congregation can be seen dancing and singing praises to God as Tope Alabi and her backup singers performed.
However, a word she used in one of the songs has sparked a debate and backlash on social media.
Tope Alabi used the word ‘Aboru Aboye,’ which is a greeting language among traditional worshippers.
Reacting to the video, social media users criticized her for using such words in a church, while others questioned her spirituality.
One Instagram user, @Ccmoney, wrote,
“Why are people defending what they can’t? The greeting is limited to only the idol worshippers, most especially the Ogboni confraternity. Aboru Aboye; then the recipient would answer Aboye Bosise. If you’re still doubting this as a Yoruba person, please try to greet your parents by saying Aboru Aboye then come back to give me feedback.”
Another user, Olaxie, wrote, “She’s not supposed to use that word, but if you think she is right, then why are we not saying ‘ase’ in church instead of ‘Amen’?”
Meanwhile, some traditionalists have also reacted to the video. A popular traditionalist identified as obaelaifa on TikTok claimed that the singer was a part of their community and expressed joy that she used the slang, which, according to him, meant she was finally identifying with them.
Another group of traditionalists shared a video of themselves dancing to the song as they worshipped in their shrine.

“The Lord told me not to use the car he recently bought. Let him sell it and not use it because the devil has planned to use the car to pull him down. God has blessed him, but the devil has planned to pull him down.
Let him take note of Tuesday and Thursday of the week, I don’t know which week, but I saw something very bad. It wasn’t a good thing. He can escape it if he sells the car. He can give it away or sell it. Let him sell it back, the car he recently bought. Let him not use it,” he said.
This revelation comes a few weeks after Davido took delivery of the Maybach S-Class S680 V12 2023 car reportedly valued at $600,000 (N447,000,000).

A while ago, former First Lady, Michelle Obama has revealed that she could not stand her husband, former US President Barack Obama, for ten years of their marriage when their daughters were young.
Michelle made this disclosure during a candid round-table interview with Revolt on Thursday, while she spoke about the challenges of raising two young daughters while advancing their careers and the strain it put on the marriage.
“We don’t talk about how much work is required and how hard it is even when you are madly in love with the person, even when everything works out right. People think I’m being catty by saying this: it’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little.” She said.
According to her, it was tough balancing raising the girls with their own hectic schedules.
“And for 10 years while we’re trying to build our careers and, you know, worrying about school and who’s doing what and what, I was like, ‘Ugh, this isn’t even. And guess what? Marriage isn’t 50/50, ever, ever.
“There are times I’m 70, he’s 30. There are times he’s 60, 40, but guess what: 10 years — we’ve been married 30. I would take 10 bad years over 30 — it’s just how you look at it. And people give up . . . ‘five years; I can’t take it.” She added.
Speaking further, she said,
“Malia and Sasha Obama were 10 and 7, respectively, when their father was elected president. Little kids, they’re terrorists. They have demands. They don’t talk. They’re poor communicators. They cry all the time. They’re irrational. They’re needy. And you love them. And so you can’t blame them, right? . . . So you turn that ire on each other.
Throughout the ups and downs, Michelle said she still admired her spouse. She stressed it’s important to know “your person.” Do you like him? I mean you could be mad at him but do you still look at him and go ‘I’m not happy with you, but I respect you,’ ” she said. “ ‘I don’t agree with you but you’re still a kind, smart person.”

Read his full post below,
“Sexual compatibility is a lie from abyss to make young people fornicate unendingly in their pursuit for someone who’ll sexually outperform their last sexual partner. They end up sleeping with the whole town. What you need is sexual commitment, and it only exists in marriage. Commitment ensures fulfillment, hence, if you’re committed to someone, you’ll do anything within reason & sentiment to please them. Emotionally, this is the case; sexually, it’s same. Sexual commitment in marriage is God’s design. Sexual compatibility is the devil’s buzzword.
Think of this: as a Christian, premarital sex is a sin. You somehow fall into it, engage in it with multiple partners, and when it’s time to choose a life partner, you use what you learnt through SIN(fornication) for ascertaining who you’ll marry. This is not consistent. How do you seek godly marriage through sinful desires and acts? How do you measure a potential partner with the perversion you learnt from porn? Sex is important, but the sexualization of marriage and even our partners is the spirit of lust at work.
Sexual compatibility says “I’m going to test you & if you’re not good enough, I’ll leave you”, while sexual commitment says “I’m going to wait till marriage, and even if you’re not good enough at first, I’ll stay committed because we have forever to grow in pleasing ourselves.” ‘Sexual compatibility’ is impatient, and so is lust; therefore, sexual compatibility is lust. Sexual commitment understands sex as a duty as much as it is for pleasure. It gives room for growth and a safe space for vulnerable intimacy.
Stop looking for porn stars to build a godly marriage with. In fact, these defiant sexual desires are a result of disobedience to God. If we all stayed sexually pure; you won’t go into marriage wanting 50 styles in 10 minutes, or desiring 9 inches. These are works of the flesh.”
Former Big Brother Naija “Level Up” housemate, Chichi, has opened up about her failed relationship with fake housemate, Deji Morafa.

Chichi also mentioned how Deji would dismiss her concerns whenever she voiced them, claiming that she was overthinking things. She said she eventually grew tired of the situation, which she found draining, and decided to walk away.
“In SA [South Africa], most of you would noticed that I wasn’t really giving him [Deji] my time until he was complaining. I have screenshots, I have evidence. I have receipts. If you want hard copy, I will give you, if you want soft copy, it’s available.
“He [Deji] came to my room that night. He knows how to pooke me. Shut up I’m not done. Don’t interrupt me please. I’m trying to keep my cool because if I start to expose you; you did so many nasty things that I don’t care about anymore.”
“When he does something to me and I complain, Deji will tell me that I’m overthinking it, I need a therapist, I bought that idea, I started feeling that I needed a therapist”. She said.

“I feel like that was the perspective that would be nice to sing about or write about. That is going on in my feelings as well. And I feel like people would be able to relate with it, especially people that are currently going through a heartbreak.” She said.
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to criticize comedienne and popular content creator, Kiekie, over a video she shared online.
The mother of one, known for sharing hilarious content with her fans and followers, recently posted on her Instagram page, recounting a bizarre incident that occurred during her recent vacation.
In the video, she described an awkward encounter when she came face-to-face with a naked man on a balcony.
According to her, her sister drew her attention to a white man standing completely naked on the balcony, and when she looked, she was taken aback by what she saw.
As she narrated the incident to her Instagram followers, Kiekie provided a vivid description of the sight.
However, this did not sit well with the criticizing lady who berated Kiekie and those who didn’t find anything wrong with the video.
She questioned whether the humor and amusement would remain if a man had come online to describe a naked woman.
“I watched a video that Kiekie posted, she was talking about seeing a man’s nakedness. After watching that video the first thig that came to my mind was imagine a man describing the nakedness of a woman that he saw, will it be the same energy in the comment section”, she said in part.

A white garment church cleric, Prophet Gabriel Evans, has berated clergyman David Ibiyeomie over his recent controversial statement about white garment churches.
Recall that Pastor Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, sparked an uproar after a video of him expressing his dislike for white garment churches surfaced on the internet.
In the video, which was filmed during a recent sermon in his church, the televangelist and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries shared his opinion of white garment churches, noting that many would have a negative opinion of them if they knew what takes place in their churches.
According to Ibiyeomie, some prophets from these white garment churches manipulate people’s destinies through the use of demonic psalms and other rituals.
Reacting to the controversy in a video shared on social media, Prophet Gabriel Evans accused Ibiyeomie of deviating from Jesus’ message of “love.”
Prophet Evans emphasized that the word “hate” should not be used by a revered clergyman like Ibiyeomie, and stressed that they have not categorized Pentecostal churches as frauds despite the actions of some pastors within the denomination.
He further stated that the founders of their churches are Africans and that most Pentecostal churches are attempting to recolonize them.
Prophet Evans also added that 80 percent of David Ibiyeomie’s church members attended white garment churches in the past, while 70 percent of them still return for miracles.
Grammy-award winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed the moment he knew he had become a big-time artiste.

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has clapped back at a fashion critic who faulted her for the outfit she wore during a recent stage performance.
The self-styled “Sabi girl,” known for her unique sense of style, recently delivered a thrilling performance at the Athens Music Festival held in Greece.
True to her style, the songstress took the stage in a skimpy outfit. Her top barely covered her breasts, and the skirt was slightly below her buttocks, exposing her underwear.
This didn’t sit well with a number of social media users who expressed their thoughts on the outfit, with many criticizing her.
Among the comments, one particular tweet caught Ayra Starr’s attention. A Twitter user identified as @solofficially seemed to accuse her of promoting lustful thoughts in the minds of men or lesbians through her dressing.
“You can be a female singer without promoting lustful thought in the head of men or lesbians.” The Twitter user wrote.
In response, the 21-year-old singer, seemingly fed up with the constant criticism and attacks on her fashion choices, clapped back at the critic, writing:
““These are literally matching shorts, but amazing for you! You’ve seen pant! Congratulations, you’ve finally achieved something in your life.”
