Popular Nigerian on-air personality Kayode Ojuolape Oladotun, better known as Do2dtun, has cried out about his inability to have access to his children.
Recall that in November 2021, Do2dtun’s wife, Omotayo, filed for divorce, citing forced abortion, domestic violence, and emotional abuse.
According to the petition filed before Justice A. I. Akobi of Court 23 of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Suit Number: GWD/PET/25/2021, the on-air personality allegedly compelled his wife to terminate her third pregnancy as a married woman.
The court granted the couple, who married in 2013 and have two children, joint custody of the children, a decision which Omotayo did not oppose pending the final determination of the suit in court. Read here.
However, in a touching Father’s Day post on his Instagram page, Do2dtun revealed that he hasn’t seen his children in ten months as he has been denied access to them, despite the court granting them joint custody.
“Today marks a whole year since they sent me that video, and it has been 10 months since I last saw you. I miss you so much. No amount of lies, games, deceit, or slow legal processes can break me. Fife and Fiore, Daddy just wants his time with you, as he deserves it, but they deny it; they disobey the law because they are scared, cowards, and immature.
“No one should use kids as bait or weapons in a fight. Once again, they picked the wrong one this time. Every effort has been made to prevent me from exercising my rights as a father, but I won’t give in or break. I will keep fighting the right way, even though some believe they have the monopoly on madness and breaking the law. I simply don’t want to play that game just because of these wonderful kids. I am law-abiding, but I am not a fool.
“If you are a father out there, for the sake of posterity and goodwill, fight for your place and your right to be in their lives. Every child needs their father just as much as they need their mother. No one should use children as a means of power or to substitute their emotions.”

“My love, I loved you more than I loved death, I spent years and years dreaming of the day it would wrap me in its arms until I met you. People talk all the time about loving someone enough to die for them, for me it was the complete opposite, dying was easy, living on the other hand was something I dreaded. Before I met you, I would spend long hours staring at the ceiling dreading my existence and then one hot afternoon in front of rhapsodies, I met you, you had captured the sun in your eyes, I wonder if you knew just how luminous you were, you were glorious, so much so that I was scared of you, you were something good, I wasn’t used to good things. That night, when you first hugged me like I could break, it was so soft I felt like you were absorbing me and maybe truly you were, maybe it was you who took away all of those heavy feelings and gave me light because I went home that day and looked up at my ceiling, the sun was there.
I loved you so much that I wanted to live for you, I sucked at it but you made me want to try, I lived simply for the moment when I would wake up from sleep, roll over to the right and you’d be there with the brightest smile, it was so bright you know, even when you left it lingered or maybe it was because I memorized the details, I too wanted to capture the sun in my eyes. You know the day you died, I went to Eko Atlantic, it wasn’t as beautiful as it is now and I started running, it was 3pm, I ran so fast hoping that you would be at the other side waiting for me to fall into your arms just like when we first met, I ran as though I could hack the matrix and catch you before you left without a proper good bye, it was 6:30pm in Eko Atlantic when the sun slowly started to disappear, I stood still holding my breath, that would be the last time I would see you, I didn’t want to forget just how beautiful you were.
I still chase the sun sometimes you know, I tell myself that one day, I’ll catch it, I’ll catch you and every time the sun rises, I catch a glimpse of you, I still live just to see it every day. I know that somewhere beyond my imagination, the sun is still in your eyes, for now my baby, sleep, I will see you in another life time.”

The drama started when Tonto Dikeh expressed her gratitude on social media for the birthday gift she received from Pastor Jerry Eze a few days ago. According to Tonto, the clergyman had gifted her a significant amount of money for her 38th birthday.

Read her full story below,
“A CRY FOR HELP! – Part 1 Fellow Nigerians, my name is Taiwo Ajayi. I have been separated from the ex-husband for the past 4 years. I was married for 12 horrible years to Joseph Okpongete.
For those 12 years I suffered greatly under his roof, subjected to domestic violence in its most horrific forms. I faced physical, emotional, psychological, and financial abuse.
We are both Born Again Christians and Ordained Ministers at the House On The Rock Church, Lagos. I appeal to the Christian Body in Nigeria, to please call one of their Ministers to order. I don’t want to become another statistics of a Christian woman who died from domestic violence.
This case has been reported last year to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) where Joseph Okpongete was invited to and he confessed twice to having beaten me, and this was recorded. It was also reported to the Nigerian Police Force.
I was brutally raped on our honeymoon in Cairo, Egypt, as a virgin. I was beaten up when I was 5 months pregnant with our daughter, I was called fat, useless and ugly by this man I had married, even though he married me as a beautiful size 12. I was beaten up severally, beaten while holding a new baby boy, having my head bashed into the wall which landed me in the hospital. I have faced several hospital visits and admissions due to the abuse. I suffered terrible silent treatments, was humiliated severally publicly and privately, was cheated on by the husband with other women, and I would discover he was sleeping with the housemaids, who I would have to chase away from the house.
My successful career as an award winning Recruiter has been threatened and almost destroyed, even when I had worked within the Oil E & P industry in Nigeria and worked with multinationals within Corporate Canada in the finance industry. Because of the stress he was giving me, i lost my job with a multinational last year which was fetching me the equivalent of N55million, I was being paid in Canadian Dollars, and it was 100 percent remote. My hard earned resources and all that I have worked for, for the past 16 years was stripped away from me.
Due to the abuse I was suffering in the hands of Joseph Okpongete, I relocated to Canada with my children in 2016 to distance myself from this man, and to give my children and I peace. He would come to Canada and ask the landlord to evict us from the property that I rented with my own money, and we would be suddenly rendered homeless and have no choice than to return to his house in Nigeria. Due to the stress I was receiving on the home front, I would have burnouts on my jobs in Canada and have to resign, leaving me with little or no income. When the abuse became too much, I had to call the Canadian Police in Mississauga, ON who came to warn him at the house that if he continued this way, he would be arrested. This made him step back a bit.
I returned to Lagos 2 months ago because I prefer being at home in Lagos, the climate works better for me. I have received threats from him about what he will do to me. He has also refused to pay child support, take care of the kids nor pay their school fees. I have been running from this man for the past 4 years and my country people I am tired, hence why I am crying out today for someone to please help me ask this man to leave me alone. He has insisted in a forceful manner that I return to his house.
2 weeks ago his Auntie called me, commanding me to return to his house, to which I politely but firmly refused. She told me that if I divorce him that I will not make heaven, that I will go to hell. Thank God the sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross is all I need to make heaven and not my marriage to this Shylock. He is owing me $250,000 CAD as initial relocation expenses to Canada, draining my resources, up to his plane ticket into Canada I had to pay for it. Who was the husband and who was the wife, please somebody tell me?
2 days ago, he called to speak to the children and I do not keep him from speaking to them nor from contacting them. He said all manner of things and gave all manner of threats, he has also been playing delayed tactics with the divorce process in court. Knowing I am from a comfortable background, this man manipulated his way into my life and manipulated me into marrying him, because of what he will eat. I was young and naive. Immediately I entered the marriage, I realized I had been deceived and it was very hard to come out.
He called 2 days ago to tell our 14 year old daughter that he is planning something against me, issuing threats, I do not know what he is planning, and sincerely I am not ready to find out. Last year he asked the police in Lagos to arrest me and lock me up for leaving him, only God delivered me. I had to run for my life back to Canada. Please fellow Nigerians, help me to ask Joseph Okpongete to please leave me alone. It is not by force to be married to him. It not by force for me to return to his house. I have moved on, please help me beg him to move on.
Two pictures earlier attached reflect my physical state after being psychologically abused for so long, and also landing in the hospital when Joseph refused to drop his passport to the Canadian High Commission in Ghana for us to collect our Canadian Permanent Resident Visa. I had paid $8000 USD for the application process, the visas had come through which was a thing of joy for me, but Joseph wanted us to loose the visas, just to hurt me. He waited till the last week before the deadline to submit his passport to the Embassy. All my pleas fell on deaf ears.
I landed in Reddington Hospital at 1:00am in the middle of the night when I could not breathe. I was about to loose the opportunity of a life time. I have a Doctor’s report to substantiate this event, detailing the psychosomatic stresses he had put me through. He eventually dropped his passport 3 days before the deadline given by the Canadian Embassy, after family members pleaded with him.
I fainted in my son’s school the following week due to the stress he was giving me, teachers and the school principal including my driver poured 5 bottles of water on my head to revive me and I was admitted for 3 days again at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja.
Egba mi Ejo, mo beyin ni o! Anyone who knows him should please ask Joseph Okpongete to LEAVE ME ALONE! Marriage to an abuser and to a Narcissist is not by force. My life is being threatened”.

Billionaire daughter, Temi Otedola, has seemingly responded after social media critic Daniel Regha came for her and her sister, DJ Cuppy.
Daniel, known for giving unsolicited advice and critiquing public figures, recently took to his Twitter handle to question Temi Otedola and Cuppy about the delay in their marriage plans.
He wondered why the sisters got engaged if they had no intention of getting married within six months.
He pointed out that Cuppy has been engaged since November 2022, and Temi Otedola got engaged to singer Eazi in April 2022, yet there are no visible indications of an upcoming wedding.
“Cuppy has been engaged since November 2022, while her sister Temi got engaged in April 2022, but there’s no proof that Mr Eazi has tied the knot. Why rush into an engagement if there was no plan to get married within 3 to 6 months? It’s not like money is a problem. No offense,” he tweeted.
Moments after the tweet, Temi, via her Twitter handle, seemingly shut him down, emphasizing the importance of minding one’s own business.
“Never forget rule number one: mind your own business,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Mr. Eazi has stated that he could be married to Temi already and people would not know about it.
According to him, he keeps his family off social media since the celebrity lifestyle is toxic and he does not want people to know too much about his personal life.
In his words;
“I was engaged for two weeks before the world knew I was engaged, so it’s like I could be married right now and you wouldn’t know and maybe I’m just not wearing my ring. It’s just how you feel, is not everything that should be outside. I think I posted an old picture of my parents out once for their 30. you know this celebrity life is not healthy and it’s not everything that should be out there.”

“I really hope to keep my baby off social media, and this was why I’ve been reluctant to put her out there. I would love to keep everything about her private for now. There are a lot of celebrities whose children are not growing up on social media pages and living normal lives. That is how I want it to be for my daughter… it is a choice to put her out there or not and I choose to keep her private.” She said.

Popular actress, Zainab Balogun, has revealed why she had made the decision to live a quiet life and keep it hidden from prying eyes.
The British-Nigerian actress shared this in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
Zainab Balogun addressed the difficulties and challenges that might arise when one’s private life is made public. She stressed that, in contrast to other famous people who obsess over social media, she is a more conventional person.
In her words;
“It was a deliberate choice because I’m very conscious of the separation of power between the industry and myself, and when you dabble into all this without the consciousness of what the consequences are, it is quite problematic.
My personal life is very personal. It’s not out for public consumption. That’s not my work, that’s my life.
There are people who do not have issues with talking about how they spent a hundred thousand dollars on an outfit they wore to the AMVCAs. I would not be that person because there is not a lot of truth in that. I have to be conscious of my audience and the people I’m setting the pace for. It is a lie that nobody needs.
So, I’m okay with giving you that which I’m okay with you criticizing or having an opinion on, but I’m quite traditional, so my personal life is not for public consumption nor the opinions of others.”

Recently, the boys uploaded an apologetic clip on Instagram, appealing with their followers and Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere to forgive them for the wrongs they had done to him.
“We are here to drop this apology video, telling everyone to forgive us. Please find a place to forgive us in your heart, especially Daddy OPM Worldwide. We know the video touched him very well. The video is going viral and won’t repeat itself,” one of the Happie Boys said.
The other continued, “We are really sorry for the way this video is trending. We want to apologise to our daddy. He is the only daddy we have. We shouldn’t have said so many things about him; we shouldn’t have revealed our private chat. Please find a place to forgive us, it wont repeat it self.”

A Nigerian clergywoman, Prophetess Ijeoma Ezenekwe, stated that since it was not written in the Bible, women are not supposed to love their spouses.
In a viral video, she claimed that wives have no right to love their husbands since doing so is wrong.
According to her, men have the right to love their wives, but women should only marry those they can respect and submit to.
Ezenekwe admonished the female members of her church not to make statements like, ‘I cannot marry him because I don’t love him.’
The prophetess claimed that men need honor rather than love, thus women should focus on giving men the honor they deserve. According to the preacher, a woman submits to a guy because of his love for her.

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has taken to social media to express her concern about his whereabouts.
This comes after she locked him outside their home at night as a way to teach him a lesson.
Judy had previously shared a video on social media showing her and Yul having an argument because he returned home very late.
In the video, Judy, visibly enraged, refused to let her husband enter their home until he provided a reason for his late arrival.

Nigerian Actor-cum-entrepreneur, artiste, and founder of Blaqk Stereo Music Group (BSMG), Hawwal Ogungbadero; and a host of other 29 artistes have set a new record in the music industry by winning the longest recording marathon for 40 hours 19 minutes, which earned them to join the hall of fame of the Guinness World Record.
Even though he didn’t have the fanfare that trailed Ms Baci’s attempt, a Nigerian artiste and founder of Blaqk Stereo Music Group (BSMG), Hawwal Ogungbadero, alongside 29 other artistes, are Guinness Record holders.
In a bid to create a platform to help young artistes explore their creativities, the musician organised the longest recording marathon event on 25 June 2022.
The recording session, held at the Sambol Production Studio in Lagos, saw Hawwal, alongside his team, feature on multiple music instrumentals non-stop for 40 hours and 19 minutes.
Making the announcement on his Instagram handle on Monday May 29th 2023, Hawwal shared pictures of himself and the team holding their titles. He expressed his gratitude to his team and sponsor, adding that the journey was difficult, but they came through in the end.
The actor said the attempt aimed to promote Nigerian artistes and amplify their talents through a world-renowned platform such as the Guinness world records.
His caption read, “It is verified, signed, and sealed. I am grateful to God Almighty for this privilege to be a positive force of change and growth in my generation. I’m grateful to the blockchain comp—@near protocol for providing a huge portion of the funds we needed to execute the project. Even though the part was self-funded, we made it despite the difficult times. It could only be God.
“40hrs 19 minutes no be beans. Special thanks to all the amazing music artistes that came through to make this happen. This is just the beginning of your great stories.”
In another post, the artiste tagged the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to inform him of their record-breaking feat, the longest recording marathon with multiple artistes.

“Emmanuel hosted the event to support local artists from within his community and to give them a platform to express their creativity. Fifteen different artists performed throughout the attempt.”
It is unclear if the record was previously held as there is no mention on the official Guinness Record Site. However, the closest would be Kumar Sanu, an Indian who has held the Guinness Book of world records since 1993 for recording the maximum number of songs in a day.

A concerned Kenyan lady has expressed her frustration with the Kenyan government and police for what she believes to be persistent harassment of Nigerian men.
She revealed that she is married to a Nigerian and that several of her Kenyan acquaintances are expecting children with Nigerian partners.
These women, however, find it difficult to have steady relationships with their men because of the frequent arrests and deportations made by the Kenyan police force.
Despite their fathers’ eagerness to provide for and take care of them, many Nigerian children in Kenya experience the unpleasant result of growing up without fathers.
She also bemoans the demise of the “Ashewo” industry in Kenya as a result of Kenyan government actions against Nigerian men, who were renowned for lavishly spending on their companions.
In her words;
“Hi Guys, I think this is the right time to go out as Kenyans. Let us be fair. See I wasn’t born in Nigeria but marriage met me and Nigerian citizen and let me tell you something, So many of my friends are heavily pregnant no with Nigerian children and so many of my friends are single mothers.
Because why?! Police brutality, discrimination against Nigerians. The Nigerians are afraid because they want a relationship with you but they are afraid to marry you. What country will restrict them and they will come and marry us?
Our kids are Nigerians and they are fatherless, not because the father doesn’t want to be in their lives but because Kenya has used bribes to pursue the father.
Now, we just match, customers are running away, ashewo business is no longer booming, we are not seeing man because our customers are afraid to come out.”
Popular Nollywood actress, Bayray McNwizu, has stated that making the first move in a love relationship is perfectly acceptable for women.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, she stated this while urging more women to express interest in the men they like without becoming desperate.
The screen diva emphasized that women must be forthright about their goals since there are situations when a man may not notice the clues a lady is giving out about her intentions.
She said;
“There are pros and cons when it comes to women ‘shooting their shots.’ If one does not want to waste one’s time, just find out what is working. It is always about knowing where to apply the gauge, knowing when to proceed, how fast to move and when to stop. These things are so important. If one likes somebody as a woman, know how to proceed and know how fast one can take action.
Also, know when to stop because one cannot afford to look desperate. A woman needs to have a healthy self-concept about herself and know that she is a queen. If a woman wants to be in a man’s life, that woman has to bring a lot of value to the table. If the man cannot see that, then the woman should help him. If the man is interested, he will chase the woman. If he is not, then the both the man and the woman can settle for friendship. It’s even more valuable to have friendships that can blossom into other things as opposed to immediate romantic relationships.”
