A Nigerian woman participating in her national youth service program has made her man emotional and in tears, after she surprised him on his birthday.
She dropped by his house unexpectedly and brought a ton of presents on the day he turned a new age.
In a viral video, her boyfriend can be heard expressing his shock at seeing his girlfriend.
As he opened the gifts she brought, which included a yummy-looking cake, a watch, an Ashluxe outfit, and a purse, among other things, he could be seen struggling to hold back tears.
He eventually gave up trying to control his feelings in response to his girlfriend’s thoughtful gesture and just let the tears fall.
Nnenna gave the warning after a Facebook user narrated how a woman on her street warned her to stay away from her husband, even though she only greets the man.
Reacting to the post, Nnenna noted that she also would not tolerate another woman greeting her man.

A Germany-based Nigerian woman has taken to social media to narrate her heartbreaking experience with racism in the European country.
The woman, who appears to be living in Germany with her family, said after she dropped off her children at school, she went to the mall to buy some items.
She selected the items and walked to the checkout counter to make payment, but the white cashier was very rude and condescending towards her because of her skin colour.
According to her, the cashier who gave a white customer his change in his hands, threw her change on the floor and told her to pick it up.
Humiliated by the incident, the woman decried the high level of racism in the country and said she would rather return back to Africa and start from scratch, than be subjected to such dehumanizing treatment in a foreign country.

Nollywood actor, Dave Ogbeni has sparked reactions online after he advised women to celebrate International Women’s day (IWD) with a conscience.

A Nigerian man has been captured on camera lashing out at his secondary school classmates for deciding to take their class reunion to Canada.
He found out that they were planning a get-together for his group and expressed interest in going only to learn that the location wasn’t in Nigeria.
The young man then made a phone call to some group members and criticized them for doing something that would prohibit individuals like him from attending.
In the video, he questioned why Nigerian school graduates would organize a homecoming event abroad.
While the angry guy was talking he did not know he was being recorded so he aired his mind with so much passion.

The mother of Segun Wire, the little boy who became an Internet sensation years ago after a video where he said he wanted to become a “Yahoo Boy” when he grows up went viral, has tendered a public apology to singer Zlatan.
You will recall that after the video went viral, singer Zlatan expressed interest in him and promised to help him. True to his word, Zlatan took him in, became his manager, and featured him in one of his music videos.
Their relationship, however, was short-lived when Segun Wire’s family accused the singer of ripping him off.
A video of the singer Zlatan being attacked by hoodlums who were alleged to be related to Segun’s family also surfaced online at the time.
Following the incident, Zlatan withdrew his decision to help Segun and, in a series of interviews, said that he regretted helping the little boy.

Nigerian politician, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has donated N15 million to the victims of the fire incident that occurred at a spare parts market in Akere Olodi in the Apapa area of Lagos state.
Recall that a mysterious fire gutted the market in the early hours of Wednesday, March 8, destroying goods worth millions of naira.
There are speculations that it was an arson attack because a dead body was recovered at the scene, suspected to have died from a gunshot wound as he did not suffer any burn injuries.
Barely 24 hours after the tragic incident, the Labour Party governorship candidate in Lagos state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, paid a visit to the scene.
He also donated N15 million to the traders who lost their goods to the fire, and promised to rebuild the market if he is elected as governor.

“At about 03:28 Wednesday wee hours, a Fire outbreak was alerted to Akere Spare Parts Market, Kirikiri Road, Akere Bus Stop, Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle, Lagos that saw the Ajegunle Fire Station of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service as the first respondent.
“Upon arrival, it was discovered that rows of shops that traded in auto spare parts were engulfed in fire that led to Sari-Iganmu and Ilupeju Fire Crews of the Agency joining up to subdue the raging fire and salvage a nearby major market Petroleum Filling Station with a full loaded 33,000 litres PMS tanker among other adjoining buildings.
“However, a male adult was recovered by the Tolu Police Division around the scene and reported dead from a gunshot injury as he did not suffer any traces of burnt while the Lagos Neighborhood and Safety Corps and the Red Cross were also in attendance.
“The cause of the fire is suspicious and will require details investigation to be ascertained as well as post-incident enumeration to account for the number of lockup shops and wares lost.”

Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has called out actress and politician Tonto Dikeh for denying her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, access to their son, King Andre.
This comes weeks after the former celebrity couple, who got married in 2015 and divorced two years later, dragged each other to filth on social media.
It would be recalled that on King’s birthday last month, Tonto Dikeh lambasted Churchill for celebrating their son on social media when he is a deadbeat father in reality.
She stated that he had no right to celebrate their son, and accused him of chasing clout with their son’s birthday every year.
In response, Churchill disclosed that he has repeatedly made efforts to reunite with his son but she blocks every access to him.
He also released a voice note of Tonto telling her ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpopogri, not to allow him near their son if anything happens to her.
In a new development, Kemi Olunloyo has accused Tonto Dikeh of falsely accusing Churchill of being an irresponsible father despite being the one intentionally keeping him away from their son. She claimed that Tonto Dikeh has been misleading the public with her false accusations.
Kemi also made public court papers dated January 2018 that showed that the businessman was granted unrestricted access to King.
The court documents read in part;
“The Defendant shall be allowed to go on outings with their son in order to bond with him but this shall be in the company of the baby’s nanny or confidant excluding the mother for the next one year so as to familiarize after which the Defendant can come to Court for review of this order.”
The investigative journalist further alleged that Churchill has not seen his son since 2019 despite the court judgment.
Meanwhile, Churchill had earlier claimed that all attempts to meet his son has been futile and that Tonto always rejects any money he sends to their son.

Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola has spoken out after being accused of having an affair with colleague Toyin Abraham’s husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi.

The mother-of-one, who worked closely with the producer when she was signed to his label, Mavin Records, jokingly claimed that she was carrying his child while reacting to a comedy skit he featured in with comedian Kiekie.
In the trending video, Don Jazzy went to a drugstore to buy condoms from a pharmacist played by Kiekie, but had no idea that she had poke holes in them, causing all his lovers to become pregnant.
When his lovers complained about being pregnant, the 40-year-old producer stormed the pharmacy to confront Kiekie for selling ‘fake’ condoms to him. In her defense, she said she intentionally put holes in the condom because she wants him to have children, because he is yet to have kids at his age.
Reacting to the skit, Tiwa Savage reposted the video on her Instastory and jokingly said that she is also pregnant for the award-winning music producer.
“@donjazzy my guy me too I’m pregnant o (na joke o, social media amebos)”, she captioned it.
In response, Don Jazzy acknowledged the post by resharing it on his Instastory.
Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has revealed his earnest prayer to God.
The controversial singer, who is known for singing vulgar songs and smoking heavily, took to Twitter to pray against anything that would make him quit his smoking habit.
According to him, he doesn’t want to experience anything, either physical, spiritual or economical, that would make him stop smoking.

According to the yet-to-be identified lady, she spent six days in the same compound as the singer, and he only left his apartment twice.
She averred that Naira Marley is not as ghetto or razz as he portrays on social media, and he actually has a calm and introverted personality.
The lady, who spoke highly of the singer who sings about sex and obscenity, opined that he probably created the persona he exhibits online to suit his style of music.

Instagram blogger, Tosin Silverdam has broken his silence following reports that he was arrested by crossdresser, Bobrisky for alleged defamation.
Recall that Bobrisky had previously threatened to take legal action against Tosin Silverdam after he accused him of using his domestic workers for adult content.
Taking to his Snapchat on Tuesday, Bobrisky announced that the blogger had been picked up by the police after days of trying to track him down.
According to Bobrisky, Tosin was tracked down to his home in Berger, Lagos State, and was apprehended by police around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7.
He also shared a video of Tosin being questioned by the police on his Snapchat as proof that he indeed got him arrested.
He added that Tosin was released on bail but that he would make sure the case got to court so that Tosin would never be able to talk trash about him again.

However, reacting in a new video, Tosin debunked reports of being arrested. He maintained that he wasn’t arrested but rather was invited for questioning by the police and simply honored the invitation.

Sensational Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has revealed the real reason why Africans relocate out of the continent to search for a better life.
Simi, in a series of tweets, said most people don’t want to leave their family and life behind in Africa, but are left with no other choice because they don’t want to die feeling hopeless in Africa.
According to her, African leaders who are supposed to create a comfortable and sane clime for their citizens are only concerned about themselves and their families.
She said they don’t care about the suffering of the masses and are only concerned about filling their pockets with public funds.

In other news, Nigerian socialite and actor, Yhemo Lee has reacted to reports that the Federal Government needs N869 billion to conduct census in the country.
The minister of state for budget and national planning, Clement Agba, made this known at an event in Abuja on Monday, March 6.
He said they are seeking donations from Nigerians to conduct the 2023 population and housing census which would cost a whooping N869 billion.
He said,
“The total requirements for this census, including the post-census activities, is N869 billion, this is about 1.88 billion US dollars.
When you hear the numbers, they really look very huge. Censuses all over the world, the average is between four to six dollars. However, in the United States, they spend $16 per person. In Botswana, they spend about $10 per person. So Nigeria’s $6 per person, you’ll agree with me, is very reasonable.
So far, the government has spent 291.5 billion naira which is $632 million. This is about 46 percent of the requirement for the census. I know this time around we’re not just doing only the population census, we’re also doing a housing census.”
Reacting to the report, Yhemo Lee, in a comic video shared on his Instagram page, urged the federal government to scrap the 2023 census exercise.
According to him, it is not ideal for them to spend that ‘outrageous’ amount when they recently spent N355 billion on the 2023 general election.

Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has made a case for Labour Party’s Lagos gubernatorial candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
It would be recalled that Gbadebo has been entangled in different controversies since he declared his intention to run for governor.
He was recently called out after old tweets of him seemingly defending Biafra surfaced online; he was also dragged for having an Igbo name ‘Chinedu’ given to him by his Igbo mum; his wife was also dragged for speaking against anti-gay laws in Nigeria back in 2011, etc.
Reacting to the drama, Reno, a spokesperson under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has taken to social media to rubbish the reports making rounds that Gbadebo is not a true son of the soil.
He explained that the politician’s name shows that he is a descendant of one of the original Lagosians who were sold out in slavery. He also berated those arguing that Gbadebo can’t be their governor because he is partly Igbo.
He wrote;
“Anybody with the last name Vivor has a very strong Lagos pedigree. The name is short for Survivor. The Vivors or Vivours are people who endured slavery and made it back to Lagos more than a century ago as survivors. Rhodes-Vivor could mean they survived Rhodes (possibly a former slave owner, or a name they were given or took) and lived to tell.
I don’t support Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour. I am very much loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party and.I urge all my followers in Lagos to vote PDP from top to bottom. However, I have been a victim of identity politics and nobody should have to go through that. But even if he was Igbo (he is not) and so what? We must make an effort to build a united country, and it takes some give and take.”
