A video that captures the hilarious moment controversial singer,Portable, cried out for help after he was shown the stage he would perform at a concert in Port Harcourt has gone viral.
Portable was a guest artiste at a show in Asarama town, Port Harcourt, Rivers state, on Tuesday night, December 3, and performed on a stage erected in the middle of a river.
In the trending video, the “Ika of Africa” singer was filmed while he was being ferried to the stage and he couldn’t help but scream for help when he saw the unusual set-up.
Portable went on to give a stellar performance on the stage before a multitude of concert-goers standing on the shore.
The singer, in a video shared on his Instagram page where he showed the almost empty plane, said many people tried to buy tickets for the flight but couldn’t because they didn’t have money.
According to him, they are all broke because they refused to do “rituals”.
Portable, who boarded the plane with some of his crew members, captioned the video,
“Wahala Wahala Wahala.

Popular Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, otherwise known as IVD, has accused the family of his late wife, Bimbo, of denying him access to his children.
IVD, whose wife Bimbo died under controversial circumstances in October 2022, made this disclosure after a follower asked him to make peace with his in-laws.
Responding, IVD stated that he was not allowed to see his wife’s corpse, and her family also denied him access to his children.
“They have refused me to have access to my kids and also I neve saw my wife’s body and they are also paying to drag me down. Am a man of peace I choose to embrace peace any day any time.” He wrote.
Meanwhile, controversial relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, better known as Blessing CEO, has sparked relationship rumour with popular Lagos car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD.
Blessing took to her Instagram page on New Year day to share a photo of a man’s hand with her initials ‘BCEO’ tattooed on it, and said that’s her man.
This sparked curiosity among her followers, who did an investigative work, and discovered that IVD has a similar tattoo on his hand, and many concluded that IVD is Blessing’s partner.
Some students of the Federal Government College, Ijaniki, Lagos State, have been caught after sneaking out of school for a sex romp in a hotel in the community.
It was gathered that the male and female students, who were all boarders, between the ages of 14 and 17, had on different occasions jumped the school’s fence and stayed out of school for days.
Punch reports that for three sessions, including the just concluded first term, some of the students, numbering about seven males and five females, had been leaving the school unnoticed. It was also alleged that they engaged in threesomes and used drugs like codeine and molly, among others.
Their escapades were brought to the school’s attention after one of the male students impregnated a female classmate.
A source told the publication, “There is a possibility that some staff are also involved in the whole atrocities because how will a secondary school student leave the school environment for days without anyone noticing? Some of the staff are benefiting from it somehow.”
Some parents, who confirmed the development, accused the school of negligence and allegedly plotting to cover up the scandal.
A parent who simply identified herself as Alex stated, “This is happening because of the negligence of the principal and the housemasters and mistress. If something like that goes hidden, my children are in that school; they can become victims.”
Another parent, Johnson Smith said,“The management needs to intensify efforts at cleansing the school because these bad eggs will corrupt our children. Something urgent needs to be done in ensuring that discipline is restored.”
Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association of the school, Olusola Tokede, who also confirmed the incident, debunked claims that the school was trying to cover up the incident.
According to Tokede, the students were caught by the school management at hotels on two different occasions after noticing their absence.
He added that asides expelling and suspending some of the students involved, the school has also engaged the service of local security guards to ensure the environment was being monitored.

“We were the ones who told the parents about it on the platform (WhatsApp). I don’t know why some parents are trying to be mischievous by saying the school did not do anything about it.
“If parents failed to train their children, they will pollute others. Can you imagine a child between ages 15 and 16 having up to N1m in her account? They went to do twosome: two girls, one boy. They were caught before the end of last session. You can imagine that a 15-year-old that should be a virgin is already engaging in immoral activities. They are rotten from their various homes and we are working hard to stop them from polluting others.
“It is not correct to say we have not done anything. We are trying, but you know that no matter what we are doing if a child is not well trained at home, they will always come up with such acts. We have sent out warnings that I will not spare anybody; it is really an unfortunate situation.
“One of the students was expelled because she was pregnant. We also expelled the boy that impregnated her. Some of them that were caught were also suspended, but they will be allowed to come back to write the exam. Everything we are doing, we are trying to marry everything together being a parent and a teacher.”

A while back, Portable caused a massive stir after he made a grand entrance at his show in a white coffin.
Portable had his concert at the New African Shrine on December 28, and he gave a grand entrance that has since got people talking.
The “Ika of Africa” star arrived at the show in a white coffin. The coffin was carried to the stage by pallbearers dressed in matching white outfits, with the singer inside.
He was ushered in with chants and praises, accompanied by a drummer who gave an impressive beat with a talking drum.

Nigerian singer, Falz and Instagram comedian, Mr. Macaroni have stirred sweet reactions online after they granted a physically challenged fan’s dream to meet them.
Recently, a video of the cerebral palsy warrior, Adebolu Adejobi, expressing his wish to meet the celebrities and activists in person went viral online.
Falz and Mr. Macaroni made Adejobi’s dream come true as they paid him a surprise visit. They were received by his parents at their house.
In a now-viral video that captured the heartwarming moment, Adejobi screamed for joy as he entered the living room to see his favourite entertainers standing there.
He hugged Falz and Mr. Macaroni, after which they gave him a bag containing gifts. They told him the visit was inspired by a video they watched online in which he expressed his desire to meet them someday.
After taking pictures in the living room, Mr. Macaroni also handed a bundle of cash to Adejobi’s guardians for him.

The mother of two adorable girls, who got divorced from her caucasian husband shortly after the birth of their second child in 2022, had taken to her Instagram page to share a video of her stretching her daughters.
In the clip, she was seen stretching the legs of her daughters – a toddler and an infant who is barely one-year-old, and bending their backs forward.
The video has since started a debate on social media as netizens shared their thoughts on her actions.
While some berated her and said the girls are too young and could get hurt in the process, others defended her and said she’s only teaching them to be flexible and it will be good for them in the long run.
Grammy award winner,Burna Boy has tendered an apology to his fans for standing them up for 7 hours at his concert in Lagos.

Speaking on the reason for the delay in a post shared on his Instastory, Burna Boy explained that the organizers of the show did not have the infrastructure to handle his audio and production needs.
The Afrobeat superstar however apologized to his fans and appreciated those who waited and weathered the storm with him.
The statement reads,

I love you but I can’t do this again. The organizational structure and infrastructure is not there for the complexities of my audio and Production needs.
Let’s be clear. I wasn’t late, my band wasn’t late. We pride ourselves on being highly professional especially with our stage craft. There were three options available to me; wait for audio to be fixed and delay the show, come out at 11pm as planned with no sound or call breach of contract and pull the plug.
I know I can’t go all over the world and neglect my own people so I’m taking matters into my own hands! I’m gathering the troops to work on building world class infrastructure in the Nigerian entertainment business.
Investors and stakeholders interested pls hit me up, we need to make some changes.

A Nigerian man, identified as Nkanu, has tied the nuptial knot with two women on the same day in Cross River state.
Nkanu married Mary and Jennet on the same day in Bazohure community, in the Abi Local Government Area of Cross River state.
The wedding ceremony was held on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Bazohure Playground.

Lucie, who took to Facebook on Wednesday, December 8, to narrate her experience, said she was complemented by everyone at the party over how beautiful she looked without makeup and revealing clothes.
According to her, though other ladies “slayed” with their makeup and dressing, she was the most popular woman at the event.
