Nigerian music executive and politician, Bankole Wellington better known as Banky W, has dismissed claims of signing Big Brother Naija season 6 winner and singer, Whitemoney, to his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
Some weeks back, a report emerged online that Whitemoney has been signed to EME record label, and photos seemingly showing the moment the deal was signed and sealed made rounds online.
The reality show star also took to Twitter to share the photos with a suggestive caption that seemed like he was indeed an EME signee.

At the time the news was shared online, it was met with mixed reactions from netizens who shared their thoughts on the collaboration.
In a new development, Banky W, in a recent interview on HotFM Lagos, disclosed that he didn’t sign Whitemoney to his record label, and in fact, he doesn’t own a record label anymore because they rebranded as a media and marketing agency in 2017.
According to the music personality, he only handled an ambassadorial deal between Whitemoney and a company EME consults for, nothing more.
Singer, Davido’s fourth babymama and mother of his second son, Larissa London, has flared up on social media and threatened to spill the tea about an undisclosed issue tonight.
Her outburst comes barely 24 hours after the singer bought a brand new G-Wagon for his fiancée and mother of his first son, Chioma Rowland.

Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Phyna Otabor, has taken a swipe at an unnamed colleague.
The reality TV star, who in a recent interview addressed her recent outburst on Twitter, said she reacted in that manner because she had been receiving death threats from fans of the unnamed housemate because of her relationship with Groovy.
Recall that Phyna recently took to her Twitter handle to call out her haters and those that have been sending her unsolicited DMs to express their displeasure with her.

A Nigerian midwife, identified as Chikaodinaka Nnadozie, has made a rather shocking revelation about the married women in her sex and sexual health online class.
Taking to Facebook, Nnadozie disclosed that 80% of the married women have never experienced orgasm while having sexual intercourse with their husbands.
She said it is alarming because most of these women are sexually dissatisfied in their marriages. According to her, it’s even worse for most women married to Igbo men as they are sex starved and stuck in an unromantic marriage.
Nnadozie wrote,

A Lagos High Court sitting has watched the chilling footage of Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of Super TV CEO, Michael Ataga, confessing to stabbing him to death, all by herself.
Recall that Chidinma, who is standing trial for the alleged murder of Ataga, alongside her sister and third defendant, Chioma Egbuchu, and second defendant Adedapo Quadri, has been on trial since October 12, 2021, when they were arraigned at the high court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) before Justice Yetunde Adesanya.
At the resumption of proceedings, the prosecution played the video recording from a Compact Disc (CD) on a large screen in the courtroom. The footage showed Ataga lying on the floor facing up with his hands spread open, wearing a white singlet and boxers stained with blood. His head was close to the wall and there was blood on the floor on his right-hand side. There were also large blood stains on the floor, the pillow, and the duvet cover.
“After I got the place on Sunday, we were smoking loud, drinking, watching movies and then I went to get food. The drug we were taking got finished and I ordered another one and went downstairs to get it from the delivery guy in the morning; that was on June 14, 2021.
“Then on Tuesday, we drank and smoked loud and I added Rophynol to his drink and we had sex. I was on the bed and he was on the chair. Then later he started disturbing me for more sex. I was tired and after struggling with him, he had his way and still wanted more.
“He wanted it, he was no longer himself and I thought he was no more interested in sex, only for him to return to the bed to ask for more sex. I pushed him away, which resulted in him hitting his head against a stool that had a glass. He had a cut on his leg and he became weak.
“I got a knife and stabbed him in the neck, ribs and stomach so that he would not be able to harm me. I tied his hands with hand kerchief. His blood was out and I was scared. I just packed everything, my clothes were also stained with blood, I just packed my things and left.
“I took the knife and handkerchief and when I got home, I threw the knife and handkerchief away. Michael (Ataga) was a friend, that we just talked. I didn’t know him that deep and we did not talk regularly.” Chidinma said in the video.
When she was asked in the video if she was assisted in killing the deceased, she replied, “There was nobody that assisted me, I did it alone.”
During examination in chief by prosecution counsel Mrs. Adenike Oluwafemi, Bamidele said the police recovered some items from the defendant’s house, including a small pink purse containing two syringes, eight pieces of Rophynol tablets, two sanitary pads, a small perfume, jewellery, an iPhone, a notebook, a diary, and an HP laptop.
Other items were the defendant’s ID card with her name, Ojukwu Chidinma Adora, Ataga’s driving licence, Ojukwu’s UBA ATM card, a Super net ID card with Ataga’s name, and three other cards that had the deceased’s name and six blank complimentary cards, among others.
In a short ruling, Justice Adesanya dismissed the defendant’s objection and admitted the items in evidence and adjourned till October 12, for the continuation of the trial.
Meanwhile, Chidinma had in an interview with crime fighters in July 2021 weeks after her arrest denied killing the businessman.
She claimed that she had nothing to do with the murder but only found Ataga’s corpse after returning to the service apartment where both of them had lodged. Read here.
The British government has said it is considering tightening the rules on how many relatives, immigrants can bring into the country.
According to a recent research by the UK Homie office, it was discovered that Nigerians had the highest number of dependants in the country compared to other groups of migrants.
According to the Times UK, UK Home Secretary, Suella Braverman said the government was considering tightening the rules on dependants after Home Office immigration figures showed a “surprising inconsistency” across different nationalities coming to the UK to work and study.
Based on the Home Office report, Nigerians accounted for 40% of all dependants who accompanied foreign students in the 12 months to June 2022 – despite Nigerian students making up just 7% of all foreign students in that period.
About 34,000 Nigerians were given study visas in the UK, bringing with them a total of 31,898 dependants. A similar ratio was recorded for work visas, with 8,972 Nigerians issued with one in the 12 months to June bringing with them 8,576 dependants.
While 114,837 Chinese students who came to the UK last year brought with them a total of 401 dependants – and 93,049 Indian students came to Britain with 24,916 dependants, the figures show.
A Nigerian Army private identified as Emmanuel Iorliam of the 156 Task Force Battalion, Mainok in Borno state, has been arrested for gun running.
Iorliam who hails from Benue state, reportedly steals arms and ammunition from his base which he then sells to Bandits, Boko Haram members, and kidnappers. He was caught recently while he was moving the cache of ammunition out of Borno State to hand over to his customers.
Iorliam got intercepted by his colleagues at a checkpoint and upon searching him, he was found to be in possession of the stolen ammunition.

A Nigerian woman, Rosemary Nkiruka accused her estranged husband of threatening to kill her and destroy her business after she walked away from their marriage due to alleged domestic violence.
Rosemary, a mother of two revealed that her husband who she identified as Obarijima Yorgba, had been assaulting her for years, stripping her naked, even in public.
In the Facebook post she shared on Monday, October 10, Rosemary stated that she left her marriage on April 15, 2022 as she could no longer endure the constant abuse.
Sharing photos of her battered body, Rosemary wrote;
“I tried to avoid doing this because of how I was raised and because of my boys, but I have been pushed and it is time for the world to hear my voice and my side of story.”

A young woman just dumped her lover and reconnected with her ex-boyfriend after her boyfriend obtained a visa for her to relocate abroad.
In a TikTok video, the lady’s friend described how she assisted the lady she trusted by connecting her with her brother in the UK.
Her friend married him just to vanish after a month of living with him in the UK. They later discovered that she had reconnected with her former lover.

Two employees of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, told a Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja today, Tuesday, October 11, that her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, verbally and physically harassed her.
Osinachi, best known for her gospel song “Ekwueme,” died on April 8. Her husband’s name. Mr. Nwachukwu is on trial on a 23-count culpable homicide and domestic abuse charge. He has been accused of being the cause of the late gospel singer’s death.
During the case’s resumed hearing today, a former Personal Assistant to the late Osinachi, Adetunji Moses, testified before the prosecution counsel, Yewande Gbola-Awopetu, that Nwachukwu referred to his wife as useless, sluggish, and lazy on multiple occasions during rehearsals.
Moses said he worked with the defendant and his wife as a PA and also a keyboardist from Sept 2018 to March 2021. According to him, he stopped working them because he could no longer bear the anger of Mr. Nwachukwu which was most times directed at him.
“In 2018, we traveled to Enugu. I was informed by the people who invited us that Nwachukwu left strict instructions that nobody should be allowed to visit mummy Osinachi. It was later I got to know that her family resided in Enugu and they were the reason he gave the instructions. On another occasion, we were to travel to Zimbabwe for ministration, and that morning, Nwachukwu got into an argument with his mother-in-law who was visiting at the time and due to the altercation, we missed our flight. He tried to book us on another flight, but to no avail, and on our way back from the airport, having missed our flight, it was a serious battle as Nwachukwu kept abusing his wife verbally. He told her that her family members were around to hinder our progress, to shut the door of the ministry and the blessings of God” Moses declared.
The former PA further claimed that the defendant told him not to allow the deceased’s twin sister to share the stage with her during ministration during a program in Lagos. He claimed that on a visit to Uyo for another ministry, a cheque in the deceased’s name was issued, and the defendant followed her to the bank to deposit the money into his account before paying the crew members.
“Some of the crew members like the bass guitarist got angry and left the group because of the defendant’s refusal to keep to the terms of their agreement which to pay them a percentage from every ministration,” he said.
Moses responded in the affirmative when I.A. Aliyu, the defendant’s lead attorney, asked him if the dead frequently complained to him about ulcer pains. How close Moses was to the dead as her PA was a question Aliyu also posed. He claimed that they interacted closely when they traveled for ministry outside of Abuja.
Moses was asked by the defense attorney if he was upset with the defendant because he wouldn’t raise his pay, but he said he wasn’t.
The hair stylist, Ms. Blessing Iyamabe, was also cross-examined. She said before the court that at some point in 2013 when she visited the deceased’s home to get her hair done, the defendant contacted his wife to ask for her car key, but Osinachi instead sent her son to deliver the key to the defendant.
“The defendant got angry, came to where we were making the hair, and slapped his wife. I witnessed another abuse in 2018. He came to my shop and slapped the deceased for not seeking his permission before coming to the salon” she stated.
She claimed that once, out of dread of the defendant, she had to accompany the deceased to her daughter’s school to make her hair. She claimed that in order to conceal from the defendant, she was forced to create the deceased daughter’s hair in a restroom at a mall.
Aliyu questioned the witness on cross-examination if, as claimed in her statement to the police, she ever counseled the deceased to break off her relationship with the defendant. She retorted that the manner the defendant was treating her prompted her to offer advice.
Iyamabe responded that she had been informed that Osinachi passed away as a result of throat cancer when questioned if she knew what caused her death.
Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, the trial’s presiding judge, postponed the proceedings till Thursday after hearing the testimony.
Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia, has chimed in on media personality Toke Makinwa’s disclosure about her unfaithful ex.

A woman who disclosed that her husband slept with her three weeks after childbirth has spoken in his defense after he was called ‘abusive’ by concerned netizens.
The woman, identified as @her_talking_pen on Twitter, had revealed the intimate information about her marriage while reacting to an ongoing discourse about the appropriate time for women to resume sex after childbirth.
Some Twitter users pointed out that medically, six weeks is the ideal time for a woman who just welcomed a child to abstain from sex so she can heal properly. However, some women revealed that it took several months before they could have sex again.
Responding to the discourse, @her_talking_pen expressed shock that husbands wait for six weeks before sleeping with their wives, and revealed that her husband had sex with her three weeks after childbirth when her tear had not fully healed.

Popular actor, Chidi Mokeme has expressed how hurt he was when the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, deleted his tweet condemning the killing of Deborah Samuel.
It would be recalled that on Thursday, May 12, Deborah was stoned to death and set ablaze by her colleagues who accused her of blasphemy at the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto.

Celebrity car dealer, Renee5star, took to her official Instagram page on Tuesday, October 5, to share a snapshot of her chat with Davido, where he ordered the new whip for his heartthrob.
She also shared a video of the luxury whip, which has been decorated with a red ribbon and is all set to be delivered to Chioma.

This comes after UK-based Nigerian Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, gifted singer Davido’s fiancee, Chioma, a Hermes Birkin snakeskin bag said to be worth $95, 000.
The DMW Boss and his lover, Chioma met with the clergyman in the United Kingdom and It was at their meeting that he gifted Chioma the luxury bag.

A young Nigerian lady has ended things with her boyfriend for not showing her enough care and affection.
A now viral video that was shared on social media by the lady’s sister showed her lashing out at her boyfriend over the phone for prioritizing making money over spending quality time with her.
She stated that despite her best efforts to adapt, she is now tired of the relationship and wants to end it.
She bemoaned the fact that she can’t fall asleep at night because she worries about him and how he treats her, whereas he sleeps well and wakes up the next day eager to set out again in search of money.

“A woman organized a surprise birthday party for her husband in his office, spent alot of money but she left with a cold feet because his mood was off. May we Marry an appreciative partner”, he tweeted.
Another user, @gbengawemimo who felt the husband may have a valid reason for not showing interest in the birthday surprise shared his own experience and explained why spouses should focus more on what their partners like, not what they think they deserve.
Nigerian filmmaker and author, Onyeka Nwelue, has opined that the majority of people get married as a means to an end and not because they are in love.
The author, who stated this in a tweet sharing his thoughts about marriage, said most people get married because they need help and shoulders to lean on.
According to him, when people get tired of pursuing their dreams alone, they get married for support and to have someone who will suffer with them.
His words,

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer cum pastor, Okose Emmanuel, formerly known as Soul E, has told single ladies that their destined husband might be a married man.
The former singer, in a video circulating on social media, said many women are still single because they don’t understand this ‘truth’, and if they are not careful, they might remain single for the rest of their lives.
He explained that if a man marries a woman that’s not his destined soulmate, when he eventually meets the woman that he’s destined to marry, his marriage will become turbulent to give room for his true soulmate.
After establishing this ‘fact’, Soul E advised single women to be sensitive enough to discern when a married man is their destined husband and if they discover that he’s the one for them, they should hold on to him tight.
“If there is anything I understand about God, is that God works in mysterious ways. A lot of women are single today because God has actually sent their husbands but he was a married man.” He said.
Nollywood actress, Chelsea Eze has lambasted a Twitter user for objectifying popular singers, Tems and Ayra Starr, and reducing their achievement to their bodies.
The Twitter user with handle @_oluwaseun9 had taken to the platform to share his thought about derriere, and asserted that the shape of a woman’s derriere is of more importance than it’s size, adding that most men would prefer a woman with Ayra Starr’s ass to Tems’.
In the tweet that garnered thousands of reactions from netizens, he wrote, “Ass shape is more important than ass size, another reason most men will pick Ayra Starr over Tems”.

A Nigerian man living in the UK has revealed that some Nigerians are sleeping in university libraries and bus stops in the UK due to unsorted accommodation.
The man, identified as @Oluomooderby on Twitter, revealed this while advising Nigerians planning to relocate to plan themselves well and sort out their accommodation before travelling.
“Before you Japa to the UK, pls make sure you sort your accommodation out. It’s everyman for himself over here. Some Nigerians are sleeping in university libraries, bus stops and even train stations. Plan yourself before you Japa to the UK”. He tweeted.

A while ago, a UK-based Nigerian man shared a photo of him backing his child while his wife is at work, something he said he never saw himself doing back home.
Since moving to the United Kingdom with his family, the Benin-born man said he has had to humble himself and take on the responsibility of nursing their baby while his wife is at work.

Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has disclosed that her ex-boyfriend is trying to get back in her life following her big win.

A Nigerian lady has tied the knot with a military officer, years after she causally spoke it into existence on Twitter.
The bride, identified as @onimi3e on Twitter, had in a post on her page on December 8, 2017, shared her desire to marry someone in the military.
“I want to marry a soldier or navy man,” her tweet read.
In an updated post on her Twitter page, she revealed her prophecy came to pass as she got married to a military officer in 2021.

Big Brother Naija season 7 finalist, Chichi has opened up on the heartbreaking experience she had during the grand finale of the reality TV show.
The exotic dancer, in a recent interview with media personality, Hero Daniels, shared this while explaining why she couldn’t respond to a question posed to her by the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Ebuka had asked Chichi who she was excited to see at the finale because family and friends of the finalists were expected to show up to support their own. Chichi however didn’t respond to the question and skipped to the next one.
Recounting the heart-rending incident, the 22-year-old reality star, who is an orphan, said she didn’t respond because nobody showed up for her.
Speaking with tears welling up in her eyes, Chichi said she scouted through the audience but didn’t see anyone she knew. She went on to narrate how she lost her parents at a tender age.
The Big Brother Naija season 7 star, in a chat with Hero Daniels, said exotic dancing is a profession, but it’s heart-wrenching to see people judge exotic dancers because they see the work as unclean and inappropriate for any woman to do.
Recounting her experience, Chichi said she ventured into the profession when no one was ready to help her. She said those she met for help were asking for something she could not give.
A lady has taken to Twitter to narrate how a heavily pregnant woman battling with ulcer was hospitalized after embarking on 90-days fasting and prayer because her pastor said the child will bring blessings to her family.
According to @nkay_yo on Twitter, the woman, who is pregnant with her fourth child, was told by her pastor that the child will change the fortune of her family, and instructed her to fast for 90 days to bring the word of prophecy to pass.
@nkay_yo said she met the pregnant woman at the hospital, and her husband was complaining bitterly over his wife’s condition, and because no one from the church showed up to stay with her whereas if someone was ill in the church, his wife would abandon everything she is doing to take care of them.
She tweeted;
“This woman at the hospital is pregnant and has ulcer but she’s been fasting for almost 90 days now because her pastor said so. I wish I was making this up.
The husband has been complaining that no one is around to stay with her as he has to go be with the kids at home. He said if it were other church members she’ll leave her family and go stay with them.
Apparently they’ve had 3 kids and the pastor said this 4th is the one that going to bring the “blessing”. The man has hung his boots long ago and just looking for money to raise his 3 kids. She didn’t even tell him when she got pregnant. The man is just lamenting to us.”
