A Nigerian businesswoman, Chinenye Azubike has narrated how a nanny she hired quit because she was sex-starved and could not go out to have sex.

Chinenye took to Facebook to share her experience while stating that families who have good nannies are blessed.

She said she was forced to get a nanny for her children because she was losing good jobs due to the huge responsibility of taking care of the kids and simultaneously running her business.

However, shortly after she got a new nanny, the woman who is a single mother of four, decided to quit her job and leave.

She said she tried to convince her to stay back and even offered to enroll her children in school, but she insisted on leaving.

Months after she left, the agent that connected her with the nanny, called and pleaded with her to take her back. Upon inquiry on why she left, the nanny reportedly said she was horny and the house was too disciplined for her to go out and have sex.

“I think the richest parent in Nigeria are those who are blessed with a good nanny.

To have a good nanny that is like a mother to your children is like looking for a faithful married man.

This year I stayed 5months without a nanny and raised my kids to improve on their chores. It wasn’t easy and it made me shut down on anything love life. Good thing is that my twin daughter who I always thought was born skinny, became chubby. I realised that all the proteins I buy, these nannies consume them! They literally starve my kids while they enjoy.

That 5months, Ella became a chef and learnt how to cook for her siblings. My son learnt how to turn on the generator and throws the dustbin while ensuring the house is tightly secured. The twin girl sweeps the house and they all arrange the rooms.

I was losing good jobs and responsibilities were piling. I almost became an evicted tenant cos rent was due and my finances was bad. I started looking for a nanny cos I needed someone to take care of these kids while I hustle.

I finally got one and she’s Hausa from Plateau. I stayed with her for a month before I resumed work properly. You all remember when I said that we were enjoying steady kunu and nice healthy hausa drinks.

What happened? This girl decided to leave. Why? She wouldn’t talk. What happened? She’d say nothing! Why are you leaving? Nothing ma. And she was crying. Meanwhile she’s a single mother of 4 in the village. My mother asked her to bring her kids over to lagos so she can put them in school and she’ll train them for her. This woman rolled on the floor crying and thanking my mother. I know my mother did that so I can have a nanny. I know.

Mehn she said she was leaving and I wished her all the best.

I started life afresh. See ehn being a father and a mother and a nanny is not a child’s play! Imagine you thinking about rent, school fees, clothes, Medicals, your own life, people’s lives, content to put out, weight to lose, fine boyfriend to find, every freaking thing is on you! And there’s no nanny.

That is why I always say that; I work so hard that I forget I have a vagina.

Anyway, why am I writing this?

The agent has been calling and begging that I take her back. What was her reason for leaving? That she was horny and my house is so disciplined that she can’t go out to have sex. I was livid and shocked. Why didn’t she tell me? What’s there? I mean I’m a woman and I’d totally understand if she wanted a break to go have fun.

She has been calling and crying that I am a good woman, I am hard to find, this and that, sweet words to lure me but I am too smart for such.

There are no jobs in Nigeria but I always wonder why so many people do not want to work. I wonder……

Again, if you have a good nanny, you’re highly blessed.

I’ve never been lucky with them and I’ve accepted my fate. It’s not that I’m wicked or bad but yea some of us are just on the other side of life where e no Dey balance.

Two suspects who specialise in robbing bank customers arrested in Delta

The Agbor Gha-Ihun Security outfit has arrested two suspected armed robbers in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.

A report which was shared on Monday, October 17, 2022, by Ika Weekly Newspaper revealed that the arrest follows reported cases of customers being robbed after withdrawing money from various banks.

The suspects identified as Smart and Oluchukwu from Imo State, were apprehended within the vicinity of a Bank while waiting to rob their victims of their money on October 13.

As they were interrogated, one of the suspects, Smart confessed that he was previously arrested after one of his failed missions.

“We are from Imo State and our mission is to steal. I am a father of two children. My wife and children are in Imo State. Some time ago, I caught by Agbor Youth Vigilante Group on one of my failed missions along Baleke market area. Oluchukwu and I started working together since this week. We feel bad that luck has run out on us,” he said.

Speaking with journalists, chairman of Agbor Gha-Ihun, Comrade Monday Kiyem said his team were on their way to attend a meeting with the bank managers in Orogodo metropolis, when they apprehended Smart and Oluchuwu at the arena of Bank, opposite Okoh Street in Agbor while they were waiting for their victims.

“Barely five months ago, we apprehended Smart after one of his failed missions. It took our intervention that he escaped death as he was given the beating of his life.

“Smart escaped being jailed because nobody was standing for the case. Being an unrepentant thief, he has returned to stealing. Now, we will ensure that justice take its course.”

Comrade Kiyem enjoined Ika residents especially people living in Orogodo metropolis to beef up security by reporting the hideout of criminals in their area.

“It will interest you to know that these evil perpetrators are not from Agbor. They are from either Anambra or Imo State. Before, we use to have two groups of kidnappers, they were the Fulani and Alifikede, but we were able to wipe them out,” he said.

“We want everyone to cooperate with us by giving us useful information on any suspicious movement within and outside the bank premises and within the residential areas. Our people have lost a lot of money and we don’t want that to happen again. Our sole responsibility is to protect lives and property. Our people have continued to allege that those encouraging this evil act are within the bank. Anybody caught will be severely punished.”

A Ukranian sniper popularly referred to as Ukraine’s ‘Joan of Arc’ got married to her military husband on the frontlines while wielding a deadly machine gun.

The rather famous sniper, Evgenia Emerald, aged 31, shared her “perfect wedding” with netizens as she stated that”a new patriotic family was born“.

Her wedding was on a public holiday known as Defender’s Day over the weekend and it’s a special day in Ukraine to honour Ukrainian military veterans.

Evgenia and her husband tied the knots on the front line in the Kharkiv region, which has sustained heavy shelling since the Russian onslaught began in February.

The couple first met shortly after Putin launched his full scale invasion, with Evgenia announcing the military couple’s engagement just a few months later in August.

Writing on Instagram, she said,

“Today I became officially the wife of the military.

“It happened on the frontline… I couldn’t imagine a more perfect wedding!

Police officer arrested for murder of his 18-year-old girlfriend and another woman in South Africa

A policeman got arrested for the murder of two women, aged 18 and 24, in Durban, South Africa.

The incident is reported to have taken place in Mandela Park, KwaNyuswa, west of Durban, in the early hours of Friday morning, October 14, 2022.

The 18-year-old victim, identified as one Njabulo Enhle Majozi, is said to be the suspect’s girlfriend. According to reports, the cop shot the other woman first and Enhle tried to run away. He allegedly shot her outside then dragged her back into the house to create a fake crime scene.

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) spokesperson, Lizzy Suping, who confirmed the incident stated that a preliminary investigation is under way and the cop was arrested.

She shared that more details would be shared once all the facts were established. Shawn Herbst from Netcare 91 said paramedics responded to reports of a shooting incident in the Mandela Park area just after 1am.

“Reports indicated that two people had been shot. When medics arrived on scene they were taken to a house where they found two adult females that had both been shot in the head. Sadly, none of them showed any signs of life and both were declared dead on scene by paramedics,” he said.

Provincial police spokesperson, Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo said a case of murder was reported at Hillcrest SAPS.

“The suspect was detained by IPID,” she said.

It was furthered gathered that the police officer was in a relationship with both women.

A Nigerian man, Ambrose, and his wife, Mercy Akinmoluwayan, have expressed joy at the arrival of twin boys after 16 years of marriage.

The couple, who finally welcomed a set of twins after 16 years of waiting, dedicated their boys, Joseph and Joshua, in their church in Abuja.

Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria after the dedication, the husband, Akinmoluwayan, said he got married to his wife, Mercy, in 2005 in Ondo State.

“I got married at Charismatic Renewal Ministries in Ondo town. I got married to my wife, Mercy Adenugba, who is now Mercy Akinmoluwayan on Dec. 3, 2005”, he said.

The proud father of two, who revealed he would be 52 years old by January 2023, said he and his wife waited on the Lord for 16 years for the gift of a child, before God finally answered their prayers and blessed them with two boys at once.

“This year Aug. 12, my wife clocked 50. We gave birth to the babies on Sept. 27, 2021, at Federal Medical Centre, Abuja,” he said.

He said waiting for all those years was challenging but they kept believing God for the best.

There were challenges in the course of hoping for the best, because we are Christians and we have decided by God’s grace that we have to make this marriage work, we did not allow pressure from here and there to weigh us down.” He said.

He said they were trusting God to give them children, but resolved that even if it didn’t come, it wouldn’t break their home.

Mr Akinmoluwayan who stated that he’s grateful to God for the gift of the twin babies, advised couples who are waiting not to give up.

“Don’t draw conclusion on your life and don’t write yourself off,” he said.

He added that his wife was a virgin when he got married to her.

“So it was not that she had even messed herself up at all but we give thanks to God,” he said.

Also speaking, the wife, Mrs. Akinmoluwayan, said it feels like God to finally become a mother and dedicate her own children in church.

Popular businessman, IVD has been arrested following the death of his wife, Bimbo.

The Nigerian police have arrested Nigerian businessman, Ikechuckwu Ogbonna, known as IVD following the incineration and death of his wife, Bimbo.

Family relatives of the late Bimbo have made several claims and accusations that IVD was the one who pushed her into the flames and was directly responsible for her death.

IVD who was accused of physically abusing her throughout the duration of their marriage and allegedly shot her sometime last month has been taken in by the police.

The Public relations officer of the police force, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, took to his Twitter account to announce that IVD whom his family claimed to be on the run, was already in custody of the law.

“Contrary to claims by family and friends that 37-year-old Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD is on the run, he has been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba.” he tweeted.

Heartbroken man seeks advice after discovering his wife slept with 6 men, aborted twice during NYSC

A Nigerian man has sought the advice of netizens after discovering that his wife cheated on him with six men and aborted two pregnancies during her compulsory one year national service.

The young man who contacted a popular relationship blog, PostSubMan, anonymously to share his predicament, said he has been heartbroken and dejected since he found out about his wife’s escapades.

He said he decided to marry his wife because he wanted her to redeploy back to their state of residence on grounds of marriage but it did not work out.

Following her inability to redeploy despite trying every possible means, they resorted to visiting each other occasionally till she finished NYSC and returned home.

On one fateful day while checking his wife’s phone, he discovered that she terminated two pregnancies for one Niyi, and they were planning to elope together.

He immediately confronted her with his findings and she arrogantly told him off, and said she slept with six different men during the course of her service year. She also disclosed that she purposely did not process her redeployment because of her lover.

The man, who is deeply broken by the revelation, said he is at a loss for what to do.

“Good morning. My girlfriend went to serve last year and she was supposed to redeploy back to our base but it didn’t work. Because of the distance her father advised us to get engaged. Despite the fact that I! just got a job, I applied for loan and it was granted. We were able to do introduction and court wedding. So she was wearing her rings but she still wasn’t deployed. During the 1 year service she comes home and I go visit her.

She just finished serving a couple of weeks ago. I made sure our house got a new look as we were looking forward to our wedding by August next year. I notice my wife is always sad and disconnected. So I kept asking her what was wrong and she said she lost a friend. I started doing everything at home before I go to work so she can rest n| buy her small things evervday so she could be happy. It didn’t stop the dulliness.

Her mum called last night and while greeting me, she said she sent some prayers to our whatsapp that we should pray with it. By the time I remembered, my wife was sleeping. So I decided to pray alone, I checked my whatsapp for her mums message and it wasn’t there so I checked hers. That was when I saw the chats from one Niyi guy that she has been going out with in camp and she aborted 2ce for. They are even planning on running away together. Till now my body is still shaking.

I confronted her and she started shouting about why I was checking her phone, started cussing and after so much argument, she confessed she had slept with 6 guys in camp and she met the Niyi at her ppa that’s why she didn’t want to redeploy. I’m so sad and heartbroken. I can’t go to work. I have been crying. I loved her so much. I don’t know if I can ever forgive her. Please advise me. What should I do? Please Conceal my identity.”

The family of late Bimbo Ogbonna, the wife of popular Lagos businessman, IVD, has released a statement on her death.

The bereaved family, in the statement released on Monday, October 17, revealed that Bimbo died on Saturday, October 15, 2022, after suffering fatal burns in a fire incident at her home in Lagos.

The family described the deceased as a committed wife and mother, who put the desire that her children be raised by both parents before her own peace of mind, happiness, and well-being.

The family stated that several times during the course of Bimbo’s troubled marriage to IVD, they intervened in a bid to rescue her from “the terrible situation that ultimately has now taken her life.”

Confirming that Bimbo’s husband, IVD, is on the run, they appealed to Nigerians to join them in demanding that justice be served.

The family also created an Instagram page in her honour.

The statement reads,

As you may be aware, on Saturday 15th October 2022, Abimbola Martins passed away after suffering fatal burns in a fire incident at her Lagos home. It has been a heartbreaking period for her parents, siblings and particularly, her children. It is a tragedy that nobody should go through, especially in the painful manner her life was cut short and at the hands of a husband she dedicated her life to.

We are appreciative of the comments of millions of Nigerians who have expressed thoughts and prayers, as well as anger that a beautiful life was brought to an end through well-documented domestic violence. Several times during the course of their marriage, we intervened in a bid to rescue her from a terrible situation that ultimately has now taken her life. Abimbola was a loving individual and a committed wife and mother, who put the desire that her children were raised by two parents before her own peace of mind, happiness and well-being.

The perpetrator of this dastardly act, her husband of 16 years, Ikenna Darryl Ogbonna, an auto dealer widely known as IVD, is currently on the run, hoping to evade justice. We know that it won’t be forever.

As the family tries to come to terms with this terrible loss, we want to appeal to members of the public to join us in demanding that justice is done. We are currently working with law enforcement to ensure that Ikenna Darryl Ogbonna is found and made to answer for his crime.

Father of two kidnapped children sells his car and puts house up for sale to pay children’s ransom in Kwara

A father-of-two, whose two children were kidnapped in Kwara, has started selling his belongings to raise the N8m demanded by his children’s adductors.

The embattled father, Lukman Aliyu, a scrap dealer in the state, has sold his car and is now putting his house up for sale to raise the ransom.

Aliyu’s two children, Abdulkadir Lukman and Muhideen Lukman, were abducted by over six gunmen who invaded his house last Wednesday night.

The kidnappers first demanded a ransom of N20m, but after a series of negotiations, they told Lukman to bring N8m or lose the two children.

SaharaReporters reports that Lukman had sold his car for N1.5m and also put his house up for sale to raise the ransom demanded by the kidnappers.

“Lukman has sold his car for N1.5 and was able to raise an additional N500,000 from his family and friends to make it N2m.

“Since the kidnappers insisted on N8m or they would kill his children, he has no other choice than to sell his house. Our lives are under threat because we do not know who is who and who is their next target,” Alhaji Mustapha, a resident of the community said.

Meanwhile, one Engr Sodeeq Abdullateef Salahudeen, has taken to Facebook to call on the state governor to come to Lukman’s aid.

“The People’s Governor, *Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq* please come to Mr. Lukman’s Aid…Mr. Lukman Has Agreed To Sell His Only House To Pay for his sons; Abdulkadir Lukman and Muhideen Lukman’s *20 million* ransom requested by the kidnapper in the recent attack in Alagbado, Aseyori Community, Ilorin…Though, this house alone can’t be sold at the huge amount requested by the kidnappers, that’s why we are requesting assistance of the *Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRasak* Should Come to his aid.” Salahudeen’s post read.

A Nigerian lady, identified as Blessing Robert, has advised women who are trying to prove to their partners that they are ‘wife material’ by cooking, cleaning and doing laundry to re-strategize because the trick is not working anymore.

Blessing in a post shared on Facebook said some men have discovered that women hide their bad characters by doing chores whenever they visit whereas they are terrible people.

She then advised such women to go back to the drawing board to come up with another strategy to convince men to marry them because the previous one is now obsolete.

She wrote,

Moment popular singer died after collapsing on stage in Paris (Video)

A Haitian singer, Michael Benjamin, popularly known as Mikaben, has died after collapsing on stage during a performance.

The 41-year-old was performing onstage in Paris with the Haitian konpa band CaRiMi on Saturday, October 15, when he collapsed.

The video from the concert serving the rounds online, shows Mikaben walking offstage when he suddenly collapses to the ground, in full view of the spectators.

The incident unfolded live on Twitter, with Frantz Duval, editor of a Haitian newspaper, first alerting fans that something was wrong. Singer, Mickael Guirand, then told fans to clear out.

“End of the concert. We must evacuate the room. It’s very complicated. We need prayers,” Guirand said.

Mikaben is said to have suffered a heart attack.

Announcing his demise on Twitter, the management of the Accor Arena in eastern Paris, where the singer was performing before the tragic incident, wrote on Twitter, “He died after suffering a seizure on stage and despite the efforts of emergency services”.

His colleagues, friends, family and fans have since trooped to social media to mourn his tragic demise.

Haitian-American media personality, Bertrhude Albert wrote,

“@mikaben gave his life to Haiti. He carried our flag on his back until his dying breath. At one point before singing you can see he was in deep pain and yet he persevered. It’s almost as if the same flag he was fighting for gave him strength to finish what he began. #Mikaben”.

Haitian prime minister, Ariel Henry, wrote, “I’m shocked by the sudden death of the young and very talented artist Michael Benjamin ‘Mikaben’, We have lost a major figure in Haitian music.”

Young man commits suicide in Bayelsa over ‘hunger and rejection from his family’ (Video)

A young man has committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in Okolobiri community, on the outskirt of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

He’s said to have ended it all due to hunger and rejection from his family.

He was found hanging from the ceiling of a block industry in Bayelsa on Monday morning, October 17, 2022.

A video showing his lifeless body dangling from the ceiling of the block shop has been shared online.

Just recently, a Nigerian lady, Olaitan Adonis, committed suicide after her boyfriend, identified as Ola Saheed, reportedly used her funds to marry another woman.

Olaitan, who had a seven-year-old son, was in a serious relationship with the young man and was saving money in his bank account. He however used the money to marry someone else over the weekend.

A source who spoke anonymously said,

“I heard they were together last Thursday, September 8, they even spent the night together, but on Friday, a friend of hers told her the guy is getting married on Sunday, September 11. She was said to have consumed a poisonous substance and died the following day, Saturday, September 10.”

“My salesgirl has been giving him money from my shop for upkeep, but he squandered the whole money. She even sent him N10k on Friday. After she ended it all, we called him and he said it’s none of his business.”

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has told Nigerians that they are not the only ones suffering economic crisis as other countries like France are also experiencing the same issue presently.

Taking to his Facebook page, Festus shared a video of residents of Paris, France, staging a mass protest in the streets over the soaring cost of living and inflation in their country.

Reacting to the protest, he berated Nigerians planning to relocate a.k.a ‘japa’ to such countries because they would still face the same economic meltdown over there. According to him, the present inflation in the country is a global issue and not peculiar to Nigeria alone.

US-based Nigerian businessman, Francis Van-Lare has claimed that one of his ex-wives used to photoshop his picture to make people think that she married a younger man.

Francis, who has gotten married to five different women which all ended in divorce, took to his Facebook page to make this claim.

He shared one of the photoshopped pictures in which he looked a lot younger than he actually is, as all the wrinkles and freckles on his face had been cleaned up.

Describing his former wife as a ‘Jezebel’, Francis wondered why she agreed to marry him when she was not proud of his look and age.

“I used to be married to someone who will ‘photoshop’ my face to make me look 20 years younger . I was like why marry me and be deceiving the world that you married a man in his 30s? See her work her” he wrote.

A while back, Francis recounted what he went through in his previous marriage.

Francis Van-Lare, the estranged husband of relationship expert, Blessing Amara Nwosu detailed his experience in a lengthy Facebook post while advising people against taking advice from people when choosing a life partner.

According to him, he was in love with a young single law undergraduate but everyone advised him to marry a single mother in her 40s because a younger woman may not be the best choice.

He claimed the advisers told him an older single mother and her children will be there for him in old age after he helps her raise her kids.

He added that the law undergraduate who he was in love with was also advised to marry a younger man she can grow old with.

He said that he took the advice of people and married a single mother with four children.

He explained that problems started immediately after the wedding when his new wife went against their agreement and began spreading news of their marriage online, despite promising not to until a few issues had been resolved.

He said that two years after their wedding, the single mother and her children ended up beating him up to “near death”.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share a video of a house in Surulere, Lagos, where he claimed Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid, lived during his childhood.

In the trending video, the man showed the house where he claimed the “Ojuelegba crooner” grew up.

In the clip, showing viewers a clear view of the old building, the man summons a security guard who lives nearby to vouch for his claim, and the guard confirms that Wizkid did indeed grow up there.

Sharing the video, he applauded Wizkid’s resilience while gushing over his meteoric rise from a young Surulere boy to an international star.

Oyindamola, the brother of businessman IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, has revealed his family members did everything possible to make his sister leave her toxic marriage, but all proved abortive.

The bereaved brother, while responding to comments on his Instagram page after he called Bimbo’s husband, IVD, out accusing him of killing his sister, said his family tried all they could to make Bimbo leave IVD, including taking her to rehab, but she kept on going back to him.

According to him, Bimbo started dating IVD when she was 18 years old. He said at the time that Bimbo would give all her school fees to her lover, IVD, and eventually dropped out of school.

He said that after several failed warnings for them to stop seeing each other, Bimbo’s family took her to Abuja to live. However, IVD contacted her and told her that he was going to kill himself if she did not come back.

He said Bimbo ran down to Lagos to be with him. Oyindamola added that their family even offered to pay IVD money to stay away from young Bimbo at the time, but they continued their relationship.

He said he believes Bimbo and IVD had a blood covenant because she kept going back to him even though he allegedly tortured her in the marriage.

“We did everything this matter didn’t start from now it started form when she was 18 years droping out of school and giving him all her school fees”. He wrote in part.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has advised women in abusive relationships or marriages to seek professional help instead of their pastors.

Freeze said this in a post shared on his Facebook page, in a seeming reaction to the death of Bimbo, the wife of popular businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna a.k.a IVD, who was a victim of domestic abuse in her marriage.

Speaking to women on the issue of domestic violence, Daddy Freeze advised them to consult trained professionals and therapists, not their spiritual leader in church because there is very little they can do to help.

He went on remind them that prayer and preaching could not save gospel minister, Osinachi, who died in April 2022 after a violent episode with her husband following years of domestic abuse.

In other news, Grace Nnaji, a neighbour of late gospel singer, Osinachi, on Thursday told a Federal Capital Territory Court in Abuja that the singer, on many occasions, begged her not to report her husband, Peter Nwachukwu’s abuse, as she believed he would change.

Nnaji, a tailor and close friend of the deceased singer, told the court that she met the singer when her husband approached her to make a dress for her.

Nnaji, while giving her testimony led by the prosecution counsel, Aderonke Imana, said that she became close to the deceased as her shop in Aco Estate, Airport Road, Lugbe, and residence were close to the Nwachukwu’s house.

Popular adult actress, Whopperme has raised alarm about her close friend, Mikayla, who is a victim of severe domestic abuse at the hands of her boyfriend.

Whopperme in a post shared on her Instagram page with over two million followers posted pictures and videos of her friend with bruises and injuries in different parts of her body said to be inflicted by her live-in partner.

Writing an open letter addressed to her friend, Whopperme expressed deep concern for her well-being and said she is scared that she would one day be killed by her abusive boyfriend.

She wrote,

“When your loved one lives with someone who could kill her, your mind never rests. Each cry for help makes you feel more helpless then the next. Abuse is not normal, this is not okay. No man should Ever beat a women.

A Nigerian lady residing abroad, Uzo Njoku, has claimed that her relationship began to pack up after she bought her boyfriend a Macbook.

Taking to Twitter to recount her experience, Uzo said after she bought her man the expensive gift, he became visibly upset and said he already planned to save up money to buy it next year, to which she offered to return it and get a refund but he refused and said he will keep the laptop.

After the Macbook episode, their relationship took a downward slope and he began monitoring her spending and rejected any offer she made to buy him a gift.

All hell broke loose when she said they should go on vacation in Cancun but he refused and said they should vacation in North Carolina instead, possibly due to his financial status.

Uzo said she did not want to vacation in North Carolina because there is nothing fascinating there, and went on to pay for their trip to Cancun. This did not sit well with her boyfriend and they eventually broke up.
