A Twitter user @iam_giftedhand shared how he lost his girlfriend to his best friend.

According to the distraught man, he had trusted his best-friend to help accommodate his girl but he went ahead to pursue a relationship and eventually got married to her.

Gifted disclosed that his girlfriend had a job interview in Lagos and he tried to to help her get suitable accommodation. He never expected his friend to steal his girlfriend because he was so trustworthy.

Meanwhile, Amarachi Igidimbah has recounted her testimony about how God kept her unborn child alive for eight hours after she nearly passed away while heading to the hospital.

The new mother announced the news on her Instagram page. Her message asserted that only God could have prevented her child’s death on October 9, 2022.

Heartbroken man seeks advice after discovering his wife slept with 6 men, aborted twice during NYSC

A Nigerian man has sought the advice of netizens after discovering that his wife cheated on him with six men and aborted two pregnancies during her compulsory one year national service.

The young man who contacted a popular relationship blog, PostSubMan, anonymously to share his predicament, said he has been heartbroken and dejected since he found out about his wife’s escapades.

He said he decided to marry his wife because he wanted her to redeploy back to their state of residence on grounds of marriage but it did not work out.

Following her inability to redeploy despite trying every possible means, they resorted to visiting each other occasionally till she finished NYSC and returned home.

On one fateful day while checking his wife’s phone, he discovered that she terminated two pregnancies for one Niyi, and they were planning to elope together.

He immediately confronted her with his findings and she arrogantly told him off, and said she slept with six different men during the course of her service year. She also disclosed that she purposely did not process her redeployment because of her lover.

The man, who is deeply broken by the revelation, said he is at a loss for what to do.

“Good morning. My girlfriend went to serve last year and she was supposed to redeploy back to our base but it didn’t work. Because of the distance her father advised us to get engaged. Despite the fact that I! just got a job, I applied for loan and it was granted. We were able to do introduction and court wedding. So she was wearing her rings but she still wasn’t deployed. During the 1 year service she comes home and I go visit her.

She just finished serving a couple of weeks ago. I made sure our house got a new look as we were looking forward to our wedding by August next year. I notice my wife is always sad and disconnected. So I kept asking her what was wrong and she said she lost a friend. I started doing everything at home before I go to work so she can rest n| buy her small things evervday so she could be happy. It didn’t stop the dulliness.

Her mum called last night and while greeting me, she said she sent some prayers to our whatsapp that we should pray with it. By the time I remembered, my wife was sleeping. So I decided to pray alone, I checked my whatsapp for her mums message and it wasn’t there so I checked hers. That was when I saw the chats from one Niyi guy that she has been going out with in camp and she aborted 2ce for. They are even planning on running away together. Till now my body is still shaking.

I confronted her and she started shouting about why I was checking her phone, started cussing and after so much argument, she confessed she had slept with 6 guys in camp and she met the Niyi at her ppa that’s why she didn’t want to redeploy. I’m so sad and heartbroken. I can’t go to work. I have been crying. I loved her so much. I don’t know if I can ever forgive her. Please advise me. What should I do? Please Conceal my identity.”

The family of late Bimbo Ogbonna, the wife of popular Lagos businessman, IVD, has released a statement on her death.

The bereaved family, in the statement released on Monday, October 17, revealed that Bimbo died on Saturday, October 15, 2022, after suffering fatal burns in a fire incident at her home in Lagos.

The family described the deceased as a committed wife and mother, who put the desire that her children be raised by both parents before her own peace of mind, happiness, and well-being.

The family stated that several times during the course of Bimbo’s troubled marriage to IVD, they intervened in a bid to rescue her from “the terrible situation that ultimately has now taken her life.”

Confirming that Bimbo’s husband, IVD, is on the run, they appealed to Nigerians to join them in demanding that justice be served.

The family also created an Instagram page in her honour.

The statement reads,

As you may be aware, on Saturday 15th October 2022, Abimbola Martins passed away after suffering fatal burns in a fire incident at her Lagos home. It has been a heartbreaking period for her parents, siblings and particularly, her children. It is a tragedy that nobody should go through, especially in the painful manner her life was cut short and at the hands of a husband she dedicated her life to.

We are appreciative of the comments of millions of Nigerians who have expressed thoughts and prayers, as well as anger that a beautiful life was brought to an end through well-documented domestic violence. Several times during the course of their marriage, we intervened in a bid to rescue her from a terrible situation that ultimately has now taken her life. Abimbola was a loving individual and a committed wife and mother, who put the desire that her children were raised by two parents before her own peace of mind, happiness and well-being.

The perpetrator of this dastardly act, her husband of 16 years, Ikenna Darryl Ogbonna, an auto dealer widely known as IVD, is currently on the run, hoping to evade justice. We know that it won’t be forever.

As the family tries to come to terms with this terrible loss, we want to appeal to members of the public to join us in demanding that justice is done. We are currently working with law enforcement to ensure that Ikenna Darryl Ogbonna is found and made to answer for his crime.

Finally, we would like to also appeal to the public to join us in praying for the repose of her soul and her five young children who have lost their mother in a most tragic manner. It is a pain that no child should have to go through.

Father of two kidnapped children sells his car and puts house up for sale to pay children’s ransom in Kwara

A father-of-two, whose two children were kidnapped in Kwara, has started selling his belongings to raise the N8m demanded by his children’s adductors.

The embattled father, Lukman Aliyu, a scrap dealer in the state, has sold his car and is now putting his house up for sale to raise the ransom.

Aliyu’s two children, Abdulkadir Lukman and Muhideen Lukman, were abducted by over six gunmen who invaded his house last Wednesday night.

The kidnappers first demanded a ransom of N20m, but after a series of negotiations, they told Lukman to bring N8m or lose the two children.

SaharaReporters reports that Lukman had sold his car for N1.5m and also put his house up for sale to raise the ransom demanded by the kidnappers.

“Lukman has sold his car for N1.5 and was able to raise an additional N500,000 from his family and friends to make it N2m.

“Since the kidnappers insisted on N8m or they would kill his children, he has no other choice than to sell his house. Our lives are under threat because we do not know who is who and who is their next target,” Alhaji Mustapha, a resident of the community said.

Meanwhile, one Engr Sodeeq Abdullateef Salahudeen, has taken to Facebook to call on the state governor to come to Lukman’s aid.

“The People’s Governor, *Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq* please come to Mr. Lukman’s Aid…Mr. Lukman Has Agreed To Sell His Only House To Pay for his sons; Abdulkadir Lukman and Muhideen Lukman’s *20 million* ransom requested by the kidnapper in the recent attack in Alagbado, Aseyori Community, Ilorin…Though, this house alone can’t be sold at the huge amount requested by the kidnappers, that’s why we are requesting assistance of the *Gov AbdulRahman AbdulRasak* Should Come to his aid.” Salahudeen’s post read.

A Nigerian lady, identified as Blessing Robert, has advised women who are trying to prove to their partners that they are ‘wife material’ by cooking, cleaning and doing laundry to re-strategize because the trick is not working anymore.

Blessing in a post shared on Facebook said some men have discovered that women hide their bad characters by doing chores whenever they visit whereas they are terrible people.

She then advised such women to go back to the drawing board to come up with another strategy to convince men to marry them because the previous one is now obsolete.

She wrote,

Moment popular singer died after collapsing on stage in Paris (Video)

A Haitian singer, Michael Benjamin, popularly known as Mikaben, has died after collapsing on stage during a performance.

The 41-year-old was performing onstage in Paris with the Haitian konpa band CaRiMi on Saturday, October 15, when he collapsed.

The video from the concert serving the rounds online, shows Mikaben walking offstage when he suddenly collapses to the ground, in full view of the spectators.

The incident unfolded live on Twitter, with Frantz Duval, editor of a Haitian newspaper, first alerting fans that something was wrong. Singer, Mickael Guirand, then told fans to clear out.

“End of the concert. We must evacuate the room. It’s very complicated. We need prayers,” Guirand said.

Mikaben is said to have suffered a heart attack.

Announcing his demise on Twitter, the management of the Accor Arena in eastern Paris, where the singer was performing before the tragic incident, wrote on Twitter, “He died after suffering a seizure on stage and despite the efforts of emergency services”.

His colleagues, friends, family and fans have since trooped to social media to mourn his tragic demise.

Haitian-American media personality, Bertrhude Albert wrote,

“@mikaben gave his life to Haiti. He carried our flag on his back until his dying breath. At one point before singing you can see he was in deep pain and yet he persevered. It’s almost as if the same flag he was fighting for gave him strength to finish what he began. #Mikaben”.

Haitian prime minister, Ariel Henry, wrote, “I’m shocked by the sudden death of the young and very talented artist Michael Benjamin ‘Mikaben’, We have lost a major figure in Haitian music.”

Young man commits suicide in Bayelsa over ‘hunger and rejection from his family’ (Video)

A young man has committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling in Okolobiri community, on the outskirt of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

He’s said to have ended it all due to hunger and rejection from his family.

He was found hanging from the ceiling of a block industry in Bayelsa on Monday morning, October 17, 2022.

A video showing his lifeless body dangling from the ceiling of the block shop has been shared online.

Just recently, a Nigerian lady, Olaitan Adonis, committed suicide after her boyfriend, identified as Ola Saheed, reportedly used her funds to marry another woman.

Olaitan, who had a seven-year-old son, was in a serious relationship with the young man and was saving money in his bank account. He however used the money to marry someone else over the weekend.

A source who spoke anonymously said,

“I heard they were together last Thursday, September 8, they even spent the night together, but on Friday, a friend of hers told her the guy is getting married on Sunday, September 11. She was said to have consumed a poisonous substance and died the following day, Saturday, September 10.”

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has told Nigerians that they are not the only ones suffering economic crisis as other countries like France are also experiencing the same issue presently.

Taking to his Facebook page, Festus shared a video of residents of Paris, France, staging a mass protest in the streets over the soaring cost of living and inflation in their country.

US-based Nigerian businessman, Francis Van-Lare has claimed that one of his ex-wives used to photoshop his picture to make people think that she married a younger man.

Francis, who has gotten married to five different women which all ended in divorce, took to his Facebook page to make this claim.

He shared one of the photoshopped pictures in which he looked a lot younger than he actually is, as all the wrinkles and freckles on his face had been cleaned up.

Describing his former wife as a ‘Jezebel’, Francis wondered why she agreed to marry him when she was not proud of his look and age.

“I used to be married to someone who will ‘photoshop’ my face to make me look 20 years younger . I was like why marry me and be deceiving the world that you married a man in his 30s? See her work her” he wrote.

A while back, Francis recounted what he went through in his previous marriage.

Francis Van-Lare, the estranged husband of relationship expert, Blessing Amara Nwosu detailed his experience in a lengthy Facebook post while advising people against taking advice from people when choosing a life partner.

According to him, he was in love with a young single law undergraduate but everyone advised him to marry a single mother in her 40s because a younger woman may not be the best choice.

He claimed the advisers told him an older single mother and her children will be there for him in old age after he helps her raise her kids.

He added that the law undergraduate who he was in love with was also advised to marry a younger man she can grow old with.

He said that he took the advice of people and married a single mother with four children.

He explained that problems started immediately after the wedding when his new wife went against their agreement and began spreading news of their marriage online, despite promising not to until a few issues had been resolved.

He said that two years after their wedding, the single mother and her children ended up beating him up to “near death”.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share a video of a house in Surulere, Lagos, where he claimed Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid, lived during his childhood.

In the trending video, the man showed the house where he claimed the “Ojuelegba crooner” grew up.

In the clip, showing viewers a clear view of the old building, the man summons a security guard who lives nearby to vouch for his claim, and the guard confirms that Wizkid did indeed grow up there.

Sharing the video, he applauded Wizkid’s resilience while gushing over his meteoric rise from a young Surulere boy to an international star.

Oyindamola, the brother of businessman IVD’s late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, has revealed his family members did everything possible to make his sister leave her toxic marriage, but all proved abortive.

The bereaved brother, while responding to comments on his Instagram page after he called Bimbo’s husband, IVD, out accusing him of killing his sister, said his family tried all they could to make Bimbo leave IVD, including taking her to rehab, but she kept on going back to him.

According to him, Bimbo started dating IVD when she was 18 years old. He said at the time that Bimbo would give all her school fees to her lover, IVD, and eventually dropped out of school.

He said that after several failed warnings for them to stop seeing each other, Bimbo’s family took her to Abuja to live. However, IVD contacted her and told her that he was going to kill himself if she did not come back.

He said Bimbo ran down to Lagos to be with him. Oyindamola added that their family even offered to pay IVD money to stay away from young Bimbo at the time, but they continued their relationship.

He said he believes Bimbo and IVD had a blood covenant because she kept going back to him even though he allegedly tortured her in the marriage.

“We did everything this matter didn’t start from now it started form when she was 18 years droping out of school and giving him all her school fees”. He wrote in part.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has advised women in abusive relationships or marriages to seek professional help instead of their pastors.

Freeze said this in a post shared on his Facebook page, in a seeming reaction to the death of Bimbo, the wife of popular businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna a.k.a IVD, who was a victim of domestic abuse in her marriage.

Speaking to women on the issue of domestic violence, Daddy Freeze advised them to consult trained professionals and therapists, not their spiritual leader in church because there is very little they can do to help.

He went on remind them that prayer and preaching could not save gospel minister, Osinachi, who died in April 2022 after a violent episode with her husband following years of domestic abuse.

In other news, Grace Nnaji, a neighbour of late gospel singer, Osinachi, on Thursday told a Federal Capital Territory Court in Abuja that the singer, on many occasions, begged her not to report her husband, Peter Nwachukwu’s abuse, as she believed he would change.

Nnaji, a tailor and close friend of the deceased singer, told the court that she met the singer when her husband approached her to make a dress for her.

Nnaji, while giving her testimony led by the prosecution counsel, Aderonke Imana, said that she became close to the deceased as her shop in Aco Estate, Airport Road, Lugbe, and residence were close to the Nwachukwu’s house.

Popular adult actress, Whopperme has raised alarm about her close friend, Mikayla, who is a victim of severe domestic abuse at the hands of her boyfriend.

Whopperme in a post shared on her Instagram page with over two million followers posted pictures and videos of her friend with bruises and injuries in different parts of her body said to be inflicted by her live-in partner.

Writing an open letter addressed to her friend, Whopperme expressed deep concern for her well-being and said she is scared that she would one day be killed by her abusive boyfriend.

She wrote,

“When your loved one lives with someone who could kill her, your mind never rests. Each cry for help makes you feel more helpless then the next. Abuse is not normal, this is not okay. No man should Ever beat a women.

A Nigerian lady residing abroad, Uzo Njoku, has claimed that her relationship began to pack up after she bought her boyfriend a Macbook.

Taking to Twitter to recount her experience, Uzo said after she bought her man the expensive gift, he became visibly upset and said he already planned to save up money to buy it next year, to which she offered to return it and get a refund but he refused and said he will keep the laptop.

After the Macbook episode, their relationship took a downward slope and he began monitoring her spending and rejected any offer she made to buy him a gift.

All hell broke loose when she said they should go on vacation in Cancun but he refused and said they should vacation in North Carolina instead, possibly due to his financial status.

Uzo said she did not want to vacation in North Carolina because there is nothing fascinating there, and went on to pay for their trip to Cancun. This did not sit well with her boyfriend and they eventually broke up.

A viral video has captured the moment a Nigerian lady went wild with excitement after her boyfriend proposed to her.

A young man decided to propose marriage to his girlfriend, and her reaction to the surprise proposal has stirred reactions on social media.

In the trending clip, the lady was in what appeared to be a school setting when her boyfriend got down on one knee in the presence of her colleagues and popped the question she had probably been yearning to hear.

“Will you marry me?” the young man, who was on his knee stretching forward a box ring to his girlfriend, asked.

The lady who couldn’t contain her excitement went haywire. She first dashed off, then yanked off her wig before running back to her boyfriend and accepting his proposal.

Controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, has slammed his ailing fan, Lord Casted, over claims of contracting HIV after inking a tattoo of his face on his body.

The drama started after Lord Casted, an ardent fan of the male Barbie who got a tattoo of Bob in 2021, cried out on social media a few weeks back that he had been suffering from a strange ailment as a result of the tattoo.

He claimed that he contracted the ailment from the machine used to draw the tattoo on his body.

Although Bobrisky reacted at the time, making it clear that he didn’t force anyone to draw a tattoo of his name or face on their bodies, he took to social media to slam Lord Casted in a fresh Instagram post.

Bobrisky revealed the undisclosed ailment was HIV, and told him to stop lying about contracting the ailment as a result of the tattoo.

Bobrisky suggested that Lord Casted contracted HIV from having unprotected sexual relations with the opposite gender, contradicting the fan’s claim of getting it from the machine used to draw tattoos on his body.

He warned him to stop mentioning his name in his video and recalled how Lord Casted insulted him after helping him in the past.

“If there’s one thing I wish or want to erase, it’s helping ungrateful people. Lord Casted or whatever your name is, stop calling my name in your videos. I remember the last time I have you money, you rained insult on me and called me fake.

Reality TV star and actress, Erica Nlewedim has declared herself a feminist and revealed the only reason why she would submit to a man.

Taking to her Twitter page to speak on being a feminist and the controversy surrounding the term in the Nigerian society, the 28-year-old influencer said on her first date with any man, she would inquire about his stance on feminist.

Speaking further, Erica said only love can make her submissive so if she is loved right by a man, she would willingly and freely submit to him.

Nigerian socialites, Kayode Christiana better known as Berbie doll, and Tasha Amos, have debunked claims that they had an affair and contracted HIV from Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD.

This comes after an alleged report surfaced online claiming the influencers are part of the Lekki big babes IVD cheated on his wife, Bimbo, with.

Recall that Bimbo passed away over the weekend from the burn injuries she sustained during a domestic fight with IVD who reportedly beat her up at the slightest provocation throughout their 22 years of marriage.

Following her death, an old video where Bimbo claimed her husband was HIV positive was shared online, and it was also alleged that IVD is a serial cheat.

After the popular car dealer’s HIV status became known to the public, a report naming some of the ladies IVD allegedly had an affair with and infected with HIV surfaced online.

Instagram influencers, Berbie Doll, Tasha Amos, and one Nelly, were accused of sleeping with IVD.

Popular businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD, has updated his Instagram display photo with a photo of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, and his children.

This comes days after he was dragged to filth and tagged insensitive for a post he shared on his Instagram page following his wife’s death.

You would recall that moments after Bimbo’s sister, Mama Jazz announced her passing on Saturday morning, IVD shared a series of videos showing his wife destroying his properties. Read here.

Many people who believed IVD should be mourning his wife’s death saw the post as insensitive and disrespectful to the dead and dragged him to filth.

Well, following the backlash, a check on his verified Instagram page shows he has now taken down the posts and changed his display photo to a family photo with his wife and children.

A Nigerian father has said he advised his son not to date any girl who hails from a poor background.

In a tweet shared on his handle, the man stated that from his own dating experience, he has come to understand that most of them don’t believe in love.

He wrote in his tweet,

“I told my son yesterday to avoid dating a girl from a poor background. In my dating experience, most of them don’t believe in love, they just want to escape their unfortunate conditions. More so, they’re the saviors their families are banking on to lift them out of poverty.

In other news, a Nigerian lady set her boyfriend’s apartment in Borokiri, Port Harcourt, on fire in a fit of rage after she reportedly caught him with another woman.

According to viral report, the girlfriend had paid a surprise visit to her boyfriend in his home when she walked in on him with another woman.

A confrontation ensued, after which the boyfriend escorted out the other woman he was with.

Before he returned, his irate girlfriend had cut up all of his clothing with scissors and set fire to his apartment.

On returning to the house, the boyfriend met his apartment in total ruins.

A video shared online by a eyewitness, showed that most of the guy’s belongings, including a TV, fan, toilet, and bed, were burnt beyond repair.

The lady was later nabbed and handed over to the police.

As she was lighting up the whole house, she poured kerosine on her body and was like let everything just end. After she did it, she stopped for a while and went round the house. He was not saying anything. He was like ‘if you want to die, die‘.

Oyindamola said at this point, Bimbo set fire to their curtain.

“As the curtain was burning, she now jacked him and was like you will give me this papers today. He pushed her off his body and this got her into the curtain.”

“She suffered from a hundred degree burns. That takes like about of a couple of minutes to get 100 degree burns. When she was on fire, her husband was right in front of her doing nothing.”

He revealed that Bimbo was the one who ran out by herself and asked for help to be taken to any hospital. He shared she was rejected by 10 different hospitals before they finally found one where she was admitted.

When asked about allegations that the late Bimbo helped her husband carry out some ritual exercise, Oyindamola said he can’t confirm the truth in that however, it is something Bimbo could have done because she loved him so much.

He also shared that he isn’t sure if IVD has HIV or not.

This comes after Blessing accused Bimbo of wanting to die and always initiating fights with her husband during her live session with OAP, Daddy Freeze.

On Twitter, a user with the handle @Jydeskillz has narrated how his friend was pregnant with her child for two years.

The user claims that his friend got pregnant in 2020 but at some point the baby stopped developing, and they were told to end the pregnancy to prevent problems.

Following the birth of the child two years later, the young man referred to the child as a miracle child.
