Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, is currently receiving heat on social media after she shared her thoughts on BBNaija level-up lovebirds, Bella and Sheggz’s relationship.
Like many viewers of the reality TV show, Toke Makinwa took to her verified Twitter handle on Monday to share her take on Bella and Sheggz’s controversial relationship.
The six-week relationship between Bella and Sheggz, who met and began dating during the first week in the house, has drawn a variety of opinions due to their frequent arguments and petty disputes.
Taking to her Twitter handle on Monday morning after the couple patched things up moments after breaking up, Toke averred that they indeed deserve each other.
“At this point is it safe to say that They deserve each other?” She tweeted.
A Twitter user then responded that Bella needed rescuing from the relationship.
Toke replied to the tweet, stating that Bella is enjoying and loving the attention from Sheggz.
“Rescued ke??? Someone that loves the attention, she’s under the covers, good luck with your rescue mission.” She wrote.
Her comments, however, didn’t sit well with social media users who berated her and reminded her of how she stayed in an abusive marriage for 13 years.

Scary moment lady caused heavily pregnant bride to fall at her wedding (Video)
A video showing the horrifying moment a female wedding guest caused a heavily pregnant bride to fall to the ground at her wedding is currently making the rounds online.
In the viral video, the couple stood on an elevated platform as different guests, including a curvaceous young lady, joined them in a dance.
While dancing with the couple, the curvaceous lady grabbed the pregnant lady, who looked uneasy, by both hands and started coercing her into dancing.
She then suddenly let go of the heavily pregnant bride’s hands, forcing her to collapse to the ground on her back.
Social media users reacted furiously to the clip, with many speculating that the bride was purposefully knocked to the ground by the lady.

A Nigerian lady appears to have gotten on her mother’s nerves after she called her sibling ugly during an argument.
In a viral video, the mother is seen tackling the daughter for making such a disparaging remark, while reiterating that all her children are fearfully and wonderfully made.
Apparently, the young lady and her sibling got into a fight, and the she labeled her sister ugly out of rage. This infuriated her mother, who can be seen berating her in the viral video.
She sternly admonished the daughter to refrain from using vulgar language in their home and said that the Lord had given her beautiful princesses and handsome princes, and none of them should be referred to as ugly.

In other news, a Ugandan Pastor, Kinto Denis, has been arrested for flogging his congregants with a cane during a church service.
The Empowerment City Church (ECC) Pastor was nabbed after a video of him flogging his church members surfaced online and he has reportedly been charged with many charges bordering on physical assault.
In the disturbing video clip, the clergyman can be seen standing on the pulpit with a whip in hand, as he ordered his congregants to come forward one by one and flogged them on their back or buttocks.
Reports have it that the Pastor flogged his church members in the East African country, where corporal punishment has been outlawed, because of incompetence and late-coming.
He has now been charged with 18 counts of common assault, causing bodily harm, assault, promoting sectarianism and human trafficking.
Amid the court case, some members of his church have gone online to defend him, stating that he was only flogging his ‘children’.
Last Sunday, some worshippers went to the church to clean the premises and held service despite the pastor’s absence. Journalists who went to film the church were reportedly confronted and beaten up before being directed to delete the video footages.

A Twitter user has asserted that refusing to date a lady because she has dated a yahoo boy (internet fraudster) in the past is very valid.
Taking to the platform, @SnrmanOA said it’s a valid reason because it’s pointless trying to fill the shoe of her ex-boyfriend because it would never fit.
According to him, such ladies are already accustomed to a lavish and extravagant lifestyle funded by their fraudster boyfriend so it’s better for a young man, making legitimate money, not to date them because they won’t be able to keep up.

He stated that the peace of the nation is largely dependent on the leaders that will be voted into office in the forthcoming election.
He further added that the citizens have the power to vote in the leader but soldiers only take orders from their commanders, who in turn receive orders from the leaders.

A video that’s currently making the rounds online shows the suspect being interrogated by those who caught him in the act.
It’s said that he tore the bathroom window net to steal the panties, but was nabbed before he could complete his mission.
In the video, while being interrogated, he was asked to name the person who sent him to steal the underwear.

A Pastor, Michael Abiodun Rabiu, who was arrested for defiling and impregnating the teenage daughter of his church member, has narrated how he carried out the act.
It was earlier reported that the victim’s mother joined the church because of a spiritual problem that had claimed the lives of two of her daughters.
To prevent the victim from facing the same fate, she took her to the pastor’s church for deliverance. However, he had carnal knowledge of her and threatened her with dire consequences if she reported him to anyone.
She fell pregnant in the process but it was not detected until she was seven months pregnant. She delivered the baby three months ago.
Upon interrogation, Pastor Michael, who is a father of three, confessed to the crime and blamed it on the devil.
His words,
“I’m from Ikorodu, Lagos State, but I have been in Owode Egba, Ogun State, for 13 years. I’m married and have three children – two by my first wife and one by my new wife. I am a deliverance pastor and the founder of the church I am in charge of. I started the deliverance ministry about 13 years ago but had been in the calling about 25 years ago.
“In the girl’s lineage, there is a god call ‘tánràn’. It is a snake god. The god had already taken some children born before her, so that was what brought her and her mother to me for deliverance.
“I had noticed that the spell was about manifesting in the girl’s life as issues about death were always discussed with her.
“When she was brought to me, I advised her mother to quickly take care of her spiritually so that she would not lose her too. I asked the girl to come for deliverance for seven weeks, and she started coming every Wednesday after closing from school.
“About a week to the end of the deliverance sessions, when we finished prayers for the day, I don’t know how the devil came over to make me have sexual relationship with her.
“I told her that I wanted to marry her so that the spell on her family would not come upon her. I also told her that I would help to sponsor her education. She said there was no problem. I knew that if I didn’t tell her that, she would not agree to have sex with me
“She is a young girl and I discovered her to be a virgin so I could not penetrate her easily, I got stuck on the way but I ejaculated in her. She left thereafter and continued as a member of the church choir.
“I discovered a change in her at about six months after. I didn’t give her any drug to take but I was so afraid of telling her mother. At that time, her mother noticed her swollen stomach and thought it was the spell that was at work in her. This was because those of her late siblings used to swell up before their deaths.
“This made her mother to take her for ultrasound scan where it was discovered that she was seven months pregnant. Her mother brought the issue to me and I confessed to her that I was responsible for the pregnancy. I started taking care of her until she had natural delivery of a baby boy (name withheld).
“By then, many people had known in the town. I also told my wife and she accepted it as a cross she has to bear. She did not quarrel with me.
The pastor, who expressed regret at his action, said he has contemplated committed suicide because his action was very shameful.
“I’ve almost gone paralysed in my arms and legs. I thought of the girl’s age and turning God’s name into mockery and felt so ashamed,” he said.
The victim’s mother, who spoke in an interview with Nigerian Tribune, said she doesn’t want to pursue the case because the suspect has been taking care of her daughter since they knew about the pregnancy.
“I have been attending the pastor’s church since 12 years ago. And he likes me and my family. He stood by me in times of tribulation. I know what happened is the work of the devil. I have lost two children to strange deaths, as they would swell up and die within a month of being sick.
“I had a dream about my daughter and intimated the pastor of it. He also came to tell me of the vision he had about my daughter. He said she would need to come for prayers and deliverance
“About seven months after the prayers, I noticed that she looked swollen as it used to happen to her late sisters. I was afraid that the same thing had befallen my daughter, so I took her to a hospital. It was there I was told that she was pregnant
“I asked her about the person who impregnated her and she replied that it was the pastor. I went to meet him and he admitted that he was the one. Since he did not deny the ownership, all I was thinking of was to support my daughter throughout the period so that she would have safe delivery.
“Since the pregnancy was detected through the scan, the pastor has done all necessary for my daughter’s ante natal clinic attendance and preparations towards her delivery. He bought everything needed and took care of her financially
“Since her delivery too, he has been taking care of her and the baby. And he has also changed her school and paid her school fees where she is now. I have accepted what has happened as destiny. I’m not ready to make any case with him. I was not the one who reported him to the police, neither was it my daughter.”
She pleaded for the pastor to be pardoned and released from police custody, and said,
“There is no one to help me take care of my daughter and her baby except the pastor, which he has been doing very well.
“I’m 47 years old, a widow and with no parents. I sell bread and don’t make N500 gain in a day. How do we survive without him? At this time, there is no one to sponsor my child’s education. There is no one to help me.”
She also said the victim is 14 years old, not 12 as claimed by the media, stating that she was born on July 22, 2008.
Speaking with Nigerian Tribune, the victim said she never said the pastor forced himself on her and pleaded for the father of her son to be released.
“He told my mother that I should come to church for deliverance prayer. We had been going through the sessions for weeks when, after prayers one day, he asked me to go to the parlour, remove my dress and lie down,” she explained.
“That was when he slept with me. He pleaded with me not to scream in pain when he noticed that I was a virgin. I didn’t know I was pregnant because I had not menstruated before the sex.”

He captioned the post, “Dangerous Love.”
Some hours followed and he appeared to have confirmed that he will be a father again.
In the early hours of Monday morning, September 5, YoungBoy dropped the visual for a new track, “Purge Me,” featuring his very pregnant girlfriend, Jazlyn Mychelle.
The couple had their first child together in late 2021, months after YoungBoy had a child with a different woman, Yaya Mayweather. Their new baby will be the 22-year-old rapper’s tenth child.
NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, had most of his kids between 2020 and 2021 and most of his kids are close in age.
In June of 2020, two of his baby mamas gave birth within days of each other.

The Na “You Dey Reign” crooner, who recently tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony, shared lovely photos of herself to mark her new age.
Sharing the photos with her over 2 million Instagram followers, Mercy expressed gratitude to God for another beautiful year.
“Happy birthday to me😅😅💃💃. Thankful for another beautiful year 💃💃.” She wrote.
Mercy’s husband, Pastor Blessed, on his part, also shared photos of his wife on his page and described her as God’s reward to him.

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington was awarded an honorary Doctorate degree from her alma mater, the University of Wolverhampton for her contribution to the creative industries.
The actress cum singer who graduated with a degree in Drama & Performance in 2009, was awarded a Doctor of Arts in recognition of her phenomenal contribution to arts and culture on Monday, September 5.

Media personality, Maria Okan recently addressed the rumours concerning her daughter, as she praised herself for being able to take care of her child alone.
Some years ago, the OAP made headlines after she welcomed a baby girl with a lot of people believing the child which she named Asaiah Monifé Maria Okanrende, is for her rumored ex, Nigerian rapper Olamide.
At the time, news were rife that the rapper allegedly gave Maria some money to terminate the pregnancy after she informed him, because he didn’t want problems with his partner, Adebukunmi.
On Monday, September 5, Maria took to her Twitter handle to clear the air on this rumour, revealing that no one gave her any money to procure an abortion.

And for the record, no one gave me any stinking money for an abortion. As a mother, when you carry a child and deliver her by the Grace of God, you will know how insulting this is and has been.
At the time those nonsense stories came out, I chose to focus on delivering my child since I had a high-risk pregnancy and a fibroid that practically exploded a few months in. But as she is safe and sound now, there’s no pressure. We thank God”
Singer, Paul Okoye hits back at Delta police PRO, DSP Bright Edafe after he called him “celebrity with no sense”
Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye has fired back at spokesperson of the Delta state police command who earlier in the day slammed him over the comment he made about police officers.
Paul had taken to his Instastory to state that any policeman who enters the car of a motorist is a criminal or a kidnapper.
He wrote,
“The only reason a policeman will stop you and enter your car is just because they are looking for an avenue to negotiate for a crime you did not commit.
As long as a police man enters my car and tells me to drive…He’s a kidnapper or a criminal.”
Apparently, this didn’t sit right with the Delta Police PRO, DSP Edafe, who hit back at the singer in a tweet shared on Twitter.
He wrote “Celebrities without sense.”
The singer has now taken to his Instastories to respond. He wrote,

A woman took to her social media page to out a married man who in a bid to win her over, lied to her that he’s still single despite having his wedding photos online.
The lady revealed that she personally congratulated the man after his wedding and he acknowledged her greeting, yet he still made an advance at her, claiming he was single.
When the lady then told him that she saw his wedding photos, he tried to explain how the photos came about. According to him, he married a Canadian citizen just to aid his travel plans but he’s not really a married man.
The lady then took a screenshot of her chats with the man alongside photos of him and his bride on their traditional wedding day and shared online.
She wrote alongside,

Teenager seriously injured after being hit by a train while trying to make an IG Reel. (VIDEO)
A trending video on social media shows the horrifying moment a 17-year-old boy was hit by moving train while he was shooting for a video near the railway tracks at the Waddepally tank near the Kazipet railway station on Sunday.
The Teenager was identified as Ch Akshay Raj, an Intermediate first year student from Waddepally in the city.
Raj was rushed to the government-run MGM Hospital by the railway police in an ambulance after the incident. He was then moved to a private hospital by his relatives. Doctors said that he suffered fractures in a leg and also sustained injuries on the face. He is said to be out of danger.
According to the Railway Police, Akshay along with two of his friends were doing a video reportedly for a mobile app when the train coming to Warangal from Balharshah hit him. “He was walking along the track closely when the train was coming. And he was hit by the engine of the train,”
