Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has clapped back at a lady who berated him for bragging about his London trip.

The Zazuh Zeh star travelled to the United Kingdom for the first time recently and has been sharing back-to-back updates on his social media page.

He had on Tuesday, April 26, revealed that the trip was sponsored by Nigerian billionaire businessman, E-Money, and thanked him for it.

Sharing photos he took with the billionaire at Heathrow Airport, UK, on his Instagram page, he wrote,

However, a Twitter influencer, identified as Ruth, who has been throwing shades at the singer in recent times, took a swipe at him for being overly excited about travelling to London.

Interestingly, the tweet caught the attention of the singer and he fired back at her for saying him traveling to London is not an achievement.

He called her a “slave’s child” and stated that the type of content she posts online will not take her to London.

“Omo eru, eating 10 wraps of fufu won’t take you to London sha,” he wrote.

The late father of reality TV star, Mercy Eke, Nda Akus, is being laid to rest in Imo state today, April 27.

A befitting funeral is currently being held in his honor in his hometown in Imo state.

In a video from the event that has been shared online, Mercy Eke, who is devastated by the loss, is seen crying while family and friends console her.

Mercy Eke announced her father’s passing in an Instagram post on Friday, April 1, 2022.

She posted a snapshot of a dark image with a candle, expressing her grief over her father’s death.

“I’m so devastated at the demise of my daddy. God I don’t want to believe this is happening to me right now. ”, she wrote.

The Kuchi Kuchi star, whose 6-year-old son Chinua has cerebral palsy, stated in a heartfelt post that her son’s condition was caused by the hospital where she gave birth to him.

According to the mother of one, who disclosed how her son’s condition has affected her finances, many have advised her to kill the little boy. Jodie noted that she’s had to do all sorts of jobs to provide for her child, but the high cost of child care absorbs all of her earnings.

“My finances have been swallowed. My friends have abandoned me because I’m a beggar. My debts are new every morning.” She said.

Jodie said that just like her, other special-needs parents have suffered alone for too long because they have been ashamed of the stigmatization.

She urged the government, non-governmental organizations, and other authorities to create a “permanent solution” for special needs children’s care so that parents do not have to go bankrupt to care for their children.

“My head is heavy. My eyes hurt, because I cry every night. Don’t wait for singer of Kuchi Kuchi to die first before you do a memorial service while her child is left to suffer. Do not spend a dime when I’m dead. Do all you can about it now while I’m alive. I beg you Nigerians.” She added.

The presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has averred that any accountant or architect that doesn’t have a job lacks integrity.

Preaching during a recent church service, the popular clergyman stated that any accountant or architect who doesn’t have a job is not being attacked by the devil, but it’s because they lack integrity.

According to him, there is a wide array of jobs available for the taking and if those professionals can’t secure one, then it’s because their integrity is questionable.

He added that integrity is the most important qualification for accountants, not ICAN.

A video circulating online shows officials of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Services, NHFSS, forcefully shaving off a lady’s dyed hair in Benue State.

The officials whose primary responsibility is to safeguard the lives of farmers in the state following repeated attacks by bandits, reportedly stopped the lady who was on a bike and made her sit on the ground.

They then dug scissors into her hair and started shaving it off while their colleagues hailed them and praised the lady’s new look.

Woman dies a week after accusing her husband of domestic violence in Ebonyi

A Nigerian woman, Anulika Uguru, has died a week after she called out her husband, Sunday Uguru, for allegedly abusing her with constant beatings and other forms of domestic violence.

It was gathered that the deceased, a mother of six, had lodged a complaint against her husband at the Human Rights Defenders (HURIDE) office in Ebonyi State on Tuesday, April 19.

HURIDE chairman, Sampson Oko Nweke, in a statement, confirmed that Anulika had brought a complaint to their office against her husband over alleged incessant cases of battery and other instances of domestic violations.

He said, unfortunately, he received news of her passing on Tuesday, April 26, a day after they spoke on the phone.

Meanwhile, the accused, who is currently in police custody claims that she died after drinking some herbicide, but he does not know who gave it to her.

JUSTICE FOR MRS ANULIKA: A FRESH VICTIM OF ABUSIVE MARRIAGE IN EBONYI STATE
This woman lying dead here is Mrs Anulika Uguru, a mother of six boys. She is from Ndiechi Onuebonyi Igbeagu, married to Mr Sunday Uguru (a.k.a Starger) of Ekeru Inyimagu community, all in Izzi LGA of Ebonyi State.

A week ago, just on 19th of this April 2022, this woman brought a complaint to our office against her husband over incessant cases of battery and other instances of domestic violations. Regrettably, there was this delay in serving the husband an invitation notice because according to the wife, he is an inter-state transporter with no valid phone number.

Yesterday, 25th April 2022, I spoke with the woman on phone and asked her to come to my office today (26th April) by 12noon. As I waited till 12:30pm today without seeing her, I dialed her number but was picked up by a child, presumably her child.

The child handed the phone to another woman who then told me that the owner of the phone I was calling is dead. She directed us to one village clinic at Sharon junction where I saw the motionless body of Mrs Anulika. We went in company of a member of GBV Taskforce in Ebonyi State , Comrade Matthias Okinya.

The sight of the dead woman filled my heart with uncontrollable rage and resentment, I phoned the police immediately and a detachment of a Police team came but the husband was no where to be found. We launch a serious search for him with the assistance of concerned villagers and later got him apprehended. He is currently in police detention. He claims Anulika drank some herbicide but does not know who gave it to her.

He must explain what happened to this beautiful young woman cut in her prime. She spoke with me yesterday; spoke with her son around 9am today and died before 1pm. Mrs Anulika must get justice.

A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to share a bizarre experience she had recently at a hotel in Port Harcourt.

According to the lady with the handle @Miz_Behaviorshe, she spent the night in a hotel and was surprised to receive a knock on her door this morning inviting her to come for prayers.

She stated that she didn’t take the call to prayer seriously at first until she peered out a window and noticed that other lodgers had already gathered and began clapping and singing praises.

She shared a video from the hotel showing people clapping and singing praises in loud voices and captioned it,

“I lodged at a hotel in ph, this morning, I got a knock on my door that I should come for prayers, I think say na joke, I didn’t reply, next thing is a loud clap and songs from downstairs. It’s still 7:30am and na rest I come rest here oo, what’s all this one now.”

Mortuary attendant arrested for severing the head of a corpse for N50k

A man identified as Kushimo Lukman, a mortuary attendant has been arrested in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, for cutting off the head of a deceased boy.

Kushimo was arrested by men of the Ogun State Government-owned security outfit, the So-Safe Corps on Tuesday morning. The So-Safe Corps said the suspect was “an acclaimed mortuary attendant working with MABOD at Oke-Yidi, Abule Oloni, Abeokuta.”

According to the spokesman, Moruf Yusuf, the suspect was arrested by the officers after he had behe#ded the corpse of a male minor at the Oke Yidi cemetery in Abeokuta.”

The suspect was quoted to have said that “the parents of the boy, who came from Ibadan, sought his assistance as a mortuary attendant to get the body buried,” adding that “he buried the boy’s body inside the cemetery, in the presence of his parents at about 19:00hrs on Monday.”

However, the mortuary attendant was said to have later gone back to the cemetery at 6 am on Tuesday, to cut the head of the buried boy, and he was caught after a fierce fight with the So-Safe officers, who later overpowered him.

Kushimo “confessed that the fresh head was requested for by one Chief Ifalonishe (AKA Lanroye) at the rate of N50,000,” saying “it was supposed to be delivered to him at a designated point within Abeokuta.”

The former Big Brother Naija housemate made this assertion after 19-year-old American rapper, Bhad Bhabie disclosed that she made over $50 million from her OnlyFans account in one year.

Reposting a report of Bhad Bhadie’s earnings on her Instastory, the mother of one stated that it goes to show that being a morally upright lady is not beneficial.

Ace Nigerian comedian, Abovi Ugboma, popularly known by his stage name, Bovi, has revealed that he has been barred from visiting the United States.

The comic star made this revelation on Tuesday, April 27, during a question and answer session with his fans on his Instagram stories.

Bovi revealed he had been banned while replying to a fan who asked when he’d be coming to Massachusetts to perform.

In response, Bovi explained that he was banned from the United states after he clashed with a visa-issuing officer and got labelled.

His words, “Ill luck. Met a charity-like visa-issuing officer. Egos clashed. I was labelled.”

When another follower asked if he had plans to relocate abroad, he said, “I am a citizen of the world. Except for Yankee where I’m banned.”

A while ago, Bovi took to his Instagram page to narrate the experience he faced while trying to check into a London Hotel.

The Hotel staff had insisted he presented the cards he used to book the hotel in a seemingly updated security measure that could inadvertently been as a result of the recent #TinderSwindler documentary.

Bovi however did not make the booking himself as it was done by his wife who is back in Nigeria, but the staff didn’t want to hear any explanation.

“They are my sisters, I have every right to discipline them” – NSCDC official allegedly says after brutalising sisters for keeping male friends

A Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (MSCDC) officer identified as Ugwueze Ezekiel reportedly stated that he has every right to discipline his sisters after photos of injuries he inflicted on his teenage sister came online.

Over the past weekend, the officer was alleged to have tortured and brutalise his 19-year-old sister, Amarachi Ugwueze, a microbiology student in the University of Abuja, for refusing to surrender her mobile phone to him after he accused her of having a boyfriend.

The incident, said to have happened at Aviation Estate in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Wednesday, left the teenage with a number of injuries.

Ezekiel was also accused of being in the habit of torturing his two sisters over suspicions that they had boyfriends.

The latest incident occurred on Wednesday, April 20 when Ugwueze Ezekiel reportedly returned from work and ordered Amarachi to give him her phone with the aim of going through her text messages but she refused.

Triggered by this, the NSCDC personnel allegedly attacked her and forcibly seized the mobile phone. He then reportedly locked her up in a room throughout the night where he physically assaulted her.

The victim told SaharaReporters,

“After he seized my first phone, I retrieved my SIM to get my contacts back with another phone my friend, Chisom, gave to me.

“Last Wednesday night when he came home, he asked for the new phone my friend gave me but I refused to give him. He immediately started hitting my head on the wall, slapping and using a stick to hit my legs. I had to bring out the phone because the beating was much.

“After that, he asked me to lie on the floor and was flogging me with a cable and belt and sized my admission letter and certificate.”

Amarachi and her sister, Chidinma Ugwueze, 21, later fled the house over fears of further torture from their brother. When photos of the injuries inflicted on Amarachi went viral, an NGO stepped in to seek justice for the sisters.

Tracy Mcwary, founder of an eponymous foundation, took to her Facebook to reveal that she has spoken with the sisters and also with their brother, the NSCDC official.

She added that she has everything recorded and that the brother said: “They are my sisters and I have every right to discipline them. I only flogged them with belt.”

A 3 month old baby was kidnapped in broad daylight while his grandmother was unloading groceries at the family home.

CCTV images captured a man walking down the street with a baby carrier covered with a blanket after someone entered a flat and snatched Brandon Cuellar outside his grandma’s home in San Jose, California.

According to reports, the toddler’s grandmother who was babysitting while his mum was at work, had reportedly just got home with her baby grandson from a shopping trip. She put him in an upstairs bedroom while she went for groceries in the car.

The baby boy wasn’t alone for longer than a couple of minutes when the kidnapper walked into the California home to kidnap him.

Speaking at a press briefing, Camarillo said: “In that short amount of time, someone entered the apartment…and left with the baby.”

The baby boy was putting on a white long-sleeved onesie that had dinosaurs printed on it when he disappeared, and the baby’s family say they don’t recognize the man pictured carrying the stroller.

In the CCTV Video, the suspect is seen wearing black trousers, a dark blue shirt and grey shoes with white trim. He also wore a black face mask and grey baseball hat.

Sgt. Christian Camarill appealed saying, ‘anybody who is a mother or father, you don’t love anything more than you love your child’.

He added: ‘Today someone is walking around with a three-month-old baby that they didn’t have yesterday.

‘If you have this baby, please get that baby back to his mother. We can deal with the consequences after.’

In a new positive development however, the baby has been found. “This is every parent’s worst nightmare,” San Jose Police Chief Anthony Mata said at a news conference, adding that he was glad this kidnappings had a “positive outcome.”

The discovery at about 9:30 a.m. capped about 20 hours of an intense hunt to find missing Brandon Cuellar, who was taken from an apartment complex on Monday around 1 p.m. at Elm and McKendrie streets by a man who appeared to whisk him away in a baby carrier.

Police said that Brandon was taken to a hospital for precautionary measures.

A Brazilian man who got married to nine wives decided to create a “sex rota” for his wives so neither of them feel left out… but he now says it has caused issues.

Arthur O Urso, who hails from Brazil, made news headlines when he married nine wives at once in a bid to “celebrate free love” and “protest against monogamy“.

According to Mr Urso, his first wife Luana Kazaki, formalised their union with eight other women at a Catholic church in São Paulo. This joined the other eight ladies to the marriage. It however is not legally binding as polygamy is illegal in Brazil.

In a new development, Arthur has now revealed that he has been struggling to balance the needs of his many wives and so he decided to create a sex schedule to make sure each partner had some love.

It however didn’t help him balance the needs of each lover and he later found it to be too stressful and structured. The model as well, found difficulty with each wife between the sheets as he confessed that he often found himself thinking about his other wives.

He said,

“They all want to fulfil my sexuality at any cost, they are happy to make it their goal. Our sex life is really fun and pleasurable, and initially I tried to have sex by appointment.

“But following a timetable caused a lot of problems and sometimes I felt like I had to have sex because of the schedule, and not for pleasure.

“On other occasions I had sex with one wife while thinking about another.”

The issues in the bedroom forced Arthur to give up the “sex rota” altogether and now he focuses on letting things “flow naturally”.

Arthur is quoted as saying,

“It doesn’t take long to get attention or affection when you have that many wives. It didn’t seem right so we got rid of it and now the sex flows naturally, it’s been great.

“It is very fun, pleasurable and unique to experience everything collectively, and they are all very different in bed.

“One of them, I won’t name her to keep her privacy, likes to be dominant and I like a woman who tells me what she wants.”

Arthur insisted that his wives do not mind how often each of the wives get to make love to him. However he does admit that jealousy does creep in occasionally.

He added,

“When I have given one of them an expensive gift and another a smaller or cheaper one, there has been jealousy among them.

“They all demand attention, affection and sex to be part of our everyday life, and I can’t do more for one than the other. I’m still learning about our relationship.”

However one wife has decided to leave the marriage. Arthur recently revealed that one of them, Agatha, will be leaving.

He previously said,

“She wanted to have me all to herself. It didn’t make sense – we have to share. I was very sad about the separation and even more surprised by her excuse.

“She said that she was missing a monogamous relationship. “My other wives thought her attitude was wrong and that she accepted the marriage for adventure and not for real feelings.

“I know I’ve lost a wife, but I’m not going to replace her at the moment.”

Nigerian pastor allegedly charges members N310k to ‘fly them to heaven’ (Videos)

A Nigerian Pastor who has been identified as one Ade Abraham of Christ High Commission Ministry, also known as Royal Christ Assembly, Kaduna State, has stunned many after he is said to have convinced his church members to relocate to a camp in Ekiti State with him in order to “prepare for the end of the world” and also allegedly charging them N310k to ‘fly them to heaven’.

A church member who spoke with FIJ, Pastor Abraham first relocated to Ekiti State from Kaduna State, where he was based before in 2020.

When he returned to Kaduna State in April, he allegedly asked members of his church to pay him N310,000 before they can be allowed to follow him to Omuo-Ekiti, where “the gate of heaven will open for all of them to fly to heaven”. He allegedly assured his members that they would all ‘ascend to heaven together from the location in Ekiti’.

A source said to the news outlet;

“My relative has also asked her daughter, who is studying abroad, to return to Nigeria, or else the pastor (Abraham) would make her commit an offence over there that would see her go to jail.”

A WhatsApp chat also backed the claim as it captured what the pastor’s follower told her daughter.

It reads,

“Daddy Abraham said I should tell you to come back, that he is the one who makes you to come down to Nigeria, and I was the one who gave you the chance to return back there, that I should also know how you will come back or he will make you to commit an offence over there and they will put you in prison. That he probably send you down so you will achieve your goals.

“Please Elizabeth, if there is how you will help yourself to come back, I will be glad. Don’t let daddy put any one of you in trouble.”

A different member of the church who currently is in the camp in Ekiti revealed that Abraham’s campers still go about their normal businesses on regular days.

The follower stated that “saved members” left their “past lives” behind in Kaduna just so they could join the pastor in Ekiti on April 6. The member confirmed that they would be at the camp with the pastor “until the day of rapture”.

According to the member, Abraham still holds regular church services on Sundays and Wednesdays.

The member added,

“We are not coming back. I can’t explain in details.

“We are going to make rapture from here. We are going to a heavenly place.” he told the publication

A video has emerged showing a suspected internet fraudster, popularly known as “Yahoo Boys,” stealing panties from a house.

In the video, he is seen trying to gain access to the house through the window. He eventually succeeded and made away with a pant.

The yet-to-be identified young man in the viral video immediately hopped into a waiting car after stealing the underwear and rushed off from the scene to avoid being caught.

The action and how he fled the scene was, however, captured on camera by a resident who spotted him from afar off.

In other news, a Nigerian man supposedly from the Yoruba decent who is based abroad, has been caught on video telling a herbalist in Nigeria to make a woman and her children in his family to go mad.

The man who was filmed walking on a subway could be heard in the video speaking the Yoruba language boldly as he thought no one around understood him as he was talking with the herbalist.

Unfortunately for him, another man who understands Yoruba was walking behind him and after hearing it is an evil conversation quickly started recording him from behind.

He could be heard saying,

Nigerian man pardons young men who allegedly stole N8.7m from him, says he will set up petty business for them

A Nigerian publisher, identified as Fejiro Oliver, has forgiven the young men who allegedly stole $15,000 (N8.7 million) from him.

The suspects working as gatemen in a house in the Lekki area of Lagos, reportedly broke into his apartment, tore his travel bag and stole his $15,000.

According to Fejiro, they allegedly fled to Benue, where they were eventually tracked down to and arrested.

They were charged to a Lagos court and were facing trial before Mr. Fejiro announced that he is dropping all charges against him.

Taking to Facebook on Tuesday, April 26, Fejiro, a publisher who doubles as an investigative journalist, said he has been jailed for fighting against corruption in the past and he doesn’t want the suspects to face the same experience he had and would let them go.

He also promised to empower them by setting up a petty business for them or finding a way to get them a job.

The security guards allegedly fired for dancing on duty while working at a food outlet in Nigeria, have resumed classes in a Cyprus university.

It can be recalled that the young men, Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, became an internet sensation after a video of them dancing in their security uniform surfaced online.

Following reports that they were sacked over the video, they received public sympathy and were awarded a fully-funded scholarship alongside their manager, Caleb, to study abroad.

The trio landed in Cyprus weeks ago and took to their official Instagram page to appreciate their benefactor, Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor of Omega Power Ministries, OPM and other well-meaning Nigerians, for their help.

In a new development, the boys now known as ‘Happie Boys’, have shared new photos of themselves in class and the university cafeteria. They rocked Agbada in the photos to showcase their African heritage.

Popular Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo, has responded to calls for her arrest over allegations of “indecent dressing.”

The media personality recently stepped out for an event in a black see-through dress, leaving nothing to the imagination.

A while back, a lady went viral on social media when she made a video of herself in her parents’ house and asked that her fellow ladies do the same and stop staying in their boyfriend’s house. See here ICYMI.

Well, it appears this lady didn’t get the memo as she proudly flaunted the pot of stew she was preparing in her boyfriend’s house while ridiculing other women who are not doing the same as her.

In the video that’s now serving rounds on social media, the lady is heard speaking in Yoruba saying happily, that’s she’s in her boyfriend’s house cooking food for him while other ladies are busy in school, giving their food to cats.
