A little girl who lost a battle to cancer has melted heart on social media with a letter she left for her Father’s female friend who was by her sick bed and comforted her through the period of her sickness.
According to the deceased whose name was given as Christabel, her Father’s friend treated her with much love more than her own mother did and her dying wish is to have her marry her Father after she’s gone.
The little girl also said that when she gets to heaven, she will ask Jesus to send her Father plenty money so he’d use to marry her.

Nigerian Politician, Adamu Garba, has taken to social media to solicit for funds to enable him purchase the APC Presidential form which his set at One Hundred Million Naira.

While addressing the young girl in a video that went viral, the actress said she was always leaving vile comments under her posts on Instagram.
Kemity reached out to the troll disguised as a man and requested that they meet for ‘hookup’, in order to apprehend her.
The actress also revealed that the troll accused her of going to Dubai to sleep with men, and that she and her partner will soon break up.

A Nigerian man has sparked a debate after he shared his thoughts about single ladies over the age of 30.
The young man identified as Moemudi on Twitter averred that there’s no unmarried lady over the age of 30 who is content with her situation.
He claims that no matter how happy they appear to be without a partner, they secretly want for a husband.

No fewer than hundreds persons reportedly lost their lives in an explosion that occurred at an illegal bunkering site in Abaezi forest, Imo State.
According to reports, the incident which occurred at about 11 pm on Friday, April 22, left about one hundred and fifty others seriously injured.
DailyPost reported that an eyewitness said;
“The fire was even entering the bush, we saw the people that were inside, no one was seen coming out.
People were also scared going close the place but later when people got there, they found out it was over hundred persons that were burnt and one hundred and fifty others who sustained serious burns were rushed into the villages for treatment.”
The Imo State Commissioner for Petroleum Resources, Goodluck Opiah, said ;
“Apart from this calamity, the act has destroyed the acqatic life of the community. Our people before now are predorminantly farmers and fishermen.
“Look around, you’ll find smokes coming from this illegal act. If this is not enough for any person to stop, I think the community is heading for what I can’t describe.
“Most of the people who are engaging in this act are from Rivers, Bayelsa and other neigbouring States and it is sabotage for our people to allow this illegal act to continue.
“I wish to appeal to our youths to desist from making themselves available for this illegal act. This is a sucidal business they got themselves into.
“On behalf of Imo State Government, we condole with the berieved family. Imo State Government pray God gives the family of those who lost their lives the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
The owner of the illegal bunkering site has also been declared wanted by the Government.

The Lagos State Government has ordered the reopening of all Chrisland Schools in the state, one week after its abrupt closure over a viral explicit video of some pupils at the school.
The state government had on Monday, April 18 ordered the closure of the school’s branches in Lagos state following the misconduct of five of its pupils during a trip to Dubai.
In a recent development, the state government, in a statement signed by the commissioner for education, Folasade Adefisayo, directed the schools to reopen on Monday, ahead of the start of the third term of the present 2021/2022 academic session.
“The Lagos State Ministry of Education has directed that all Chrisland Schools shut for alleged misconduct of some students in Dubai be reopened from Monday, April 25th, 2022.
The directive follows a review of the ongoing administrative investigation into the incident. Besides, it is to ensure that students are not denied access to learning when the new term begins on Monday 25th April 2022.
The State Government shut the schools for the safety of students and the staff and to ensure unhindered investigation of the incident. The Ministry of Education and other relevant agencies of the State, in conjunction with the school’s Parent Teachers Association, will be working on scheduled psychosocial support for the students.
An extensive assessment of the school’s procedure, especially on external trips and excursions, is being made to identify safety gaps and prevent such incidents. Besides, the Ministry will launch the reviewed guidelines/protocols governing private and public schools across the state within the next one month.” The statement reads.

Morgan Fevre, a 22-year-old gay man was almost beaten to death in Manchester, UK, for wearing a ‘girlie’ jacket in the early hours of Sunday, April 10.

The young man relocated to Manchester from Retford, Nottinghamshire, because of the city’s perceived inclusiveness for gay people.
He was hanging out with his friends at the Manchester City centre when he was approached by a man who attacked him for wearing a “girl’s jacket”.
According to an eyewitness identified as Paul, his attacker had asked him, “why are you wearing a girl’s jacket, you f**king f*g?” before attacking him, leaving him with a bleed on the brain and a severely fractured eye socket and cheekbone.
Thereafter, an ambulance was called at about 2.15am and he was rushed to Manchester Royal Infirmary. He was then transferred to Salford Royal Hospital for an emergency surgery to save his life.
According to reports, he also had three broken teeth and a badly broken nose, which was fractured in four places.
Confirming the incident, the Police said it happened around 1:35am in Chinatown and it was a ‘homophobically aggravated assault’.
Morgan is slowly recovering and was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday evening, April 21.

This is coming after Benito took to his Instagram page to accuse his father of physically assaulting him and threatening to kill him, after he got wind of his expulsion from school.
Benito had claimed his father beat him up black and blue and called him a “waste” because he was expelled.
Well, Mella took to her IG page on Friday, April 22, to disclose that Benito has now been admitted into a drama school, eventhough his father will not acknowledge him.

A Nigerian man has received praises from Nigerians after he provided some financial support for a set of triplets who lost their mother after she gave birth to them.
The Businesman visited the newborn babies and offered the family the sum of N1 million through the Givers Supportive Foundation.
The man who runs a non-governmental foundation known on Instagram as Gsf_foundation (GIVERS SUPPORTIVE FOUNDATION), shared pictures of his visit on the page and wrote;
‘Today I visited the family of the woman who died immediately after given birth to a set of Triplet (3). At Ayetoro Yewa North local Government area of Ogun State with over a worth of NGN1,000,000.00 (1million naira) including all basic needs for the Triplets such as baby food, diapers, wipes, clothes and many more that will last them for at least 3months and beyond.”
In Addition: For Clothes: 200k Empowerment for the Triplet Father: 250k Feeding for the family: NGN68,500.00 Care for the Triplets: 100k Matron: 50k ( medical treatment) Father of the late mother : 150k for General upkeep of family. Former Nollywood Actress, Caroline Danjuma has insisted that Linda Ikeji is part of the reason her marriage crashed.
Earlier, Linda Ikeji issued a disclaimer that denied Caroline’s claims but the actress isn’t buying into any of that.
She called Linda Ikeji an outright bully and said the blogger derives joy from the pains of other women.

Popular Blogger, Linda Ikeji has issued an official response to the allegation from former Nollywood Actress, Caroline Danjuma laid upon her and her blog.
Last night, social media went rife after a clip from the currently airing “Real Housewives of Lagos” showed the moment a very angry Caroline, blamed Linda Ikeji for the crash of her marriage.
According to Caroline, Linda Ikeji, through her blog, published malicious content against herself and her daughter by questioning her age and alleging that her Daughter belonged to another man.
Linda Ikeji has now come out to deny these allegations.
Then blogger said Caroline’s claim that she wrote a malicious content against her daughter isn’t true. The blog however admitted to writing about Caroline’s age controversy but there has never been a time the blog published bad articles about Caroline’s daughter.

Just to set the record straight because people like to believe these things especially when a celebrity makes the claim.
In it’s 16 years of blogging, Linda Ikeji Blog NEVER EVER wrote that Caroline Danjuma’s daughter is not for her husband. Not only didn’t Linda Ikeji Blog write this, no other blog in Nigeria or beyond wrote this.
If this was a story written by Linda Ikeji Blog, a lot of other blogs would have carried it. There is no such story online on the thousands of blogs that exist in Nigeria. This is a story that was NEVER written about Caroline Danjuma. It doesn’t exist. PERIOD. Feel free to Google.
This story was completely made up by Caroline Danjuma. Or she could have seen it as a comment made by anonymous commenters on LIB or any other blog. But this story was NEVER written about her. Other than calling her daughter ADORABLE, we NEVER wrote anything else about her.
Yes, we did write about Caroline’s age controversy when she came out some years ago to claim she was 27. Many people didn’t believe her and that was the angle of our story. It wasn’t written with malice.
Two things that we want to make clear. Everyone who knows Caroline Danjuma, knows she blames everyone else for the demise of her marriage. It’s never her fault or the fault of her ex. Even in this so called reality show, another cast member said she lied when she said Linda Ikeji blog contributed to the end of her marriage and mentioned another cast member who Caroline has for years blamed for the end of her marriage. We hope the show airs that episode.
It was only recently, in a post on Instagram in 2022, that Caroline, finally blamed herself for the end of her marrage.
Secondly, Caroline has told everyone that cares to listen that she adores and respects Linda Ikeji and doesn’t understand why Linda doesn’t like her. Linda has absolutely nothing against Caroline Danjuma. She just doesn’t know her.
Finally we ask Caroline to please screengrab the page where Linda Ikeji Blog or any other blog in Nigeria ever wrote that her daughter isn’t for her husband. Its news to everyone today because it was NEVER WRITTEN.”
A married woman identified as Funmilola Osundare is currently battling for her life at the Federal Medical Center in Ondo State after she was butchered by her boyfriend for alleged ritual purposes.
The victim, a mother of one, was said to have visited her lover at his home in Ijapo, Akure, three days before the attack. They were reportedly having a romantic moment when he suddenly attacked her with a machete, leaving her with varied degrees of machete injuries on her face, shoulders, and hands.
Vanguard reports that her cries for help attracted the neighbors, who invited operatives of the state security outfit, Amotekun. The suspect fled the scene while the neighbours rushed Fumilola to the police clinic for treatment, where she was rejected and referred to the University of Medical Sciences, Teaching Hospital, Akure.
Confirming the incident, the Executive Secretary of the State Agency Against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence(OSAA-GBV), Bola Joel-Ogundadegbe explained that she was informed about the incident by the Police and the agency quickly notified the First Lady, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, who immediately ordered that the victim be taken to a hospital and, consequently, settled the emergency bills.
“The victim was on oxygen in the Trauma centre Ondo and back to life, but yet to regain consciousness and strength to talk.” Joel-Ogundadegbe said
He added that no one had yet identified the boyfriend of the victim, but that his neighbours said he was a footballer. She said that Funmilola needed to be referred to the Federal Medical Centre for the services of a neurosurgeon due to the deep wound on her head.
Meanwhile, a staff of the Ondo State Agency Against Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (OSAA-GBV), Princess Folashade, has shared a graphic photo of the married woman on Facebook.
Photos making the rounds on social media captures the moment a suspected cable thief was served a plate of noodles while being punished in Agorogbene community, Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
The suspect identified as Preye Ayase and his accomplice, Ringo Tareladei, caught vandalising electric cables connecting Ogobiri and Agorogbene communities in Sagbama on Wednesday, April 20.
A facebook user, Jonah Goodluck Dimie, shared the photos and wrote;
Whahala no they Finnish ooh, this one come shock me. Why my community nepa light electrification cables, this very two criminal’s named Mr preye Ayase and one Mr Ringo tareladei all from amasoma community silga, was caught red-handed by my self and the active vigilanty and the youths of Agorogbene community, at the early hours of today been the 20th of April 2022 Agorogbene/Ogobiri road, in the process of vandalising nepa light electrification cables.

Meanwhile, Ouseibai Seperegha Godsgift M, the President of the Creek Youths Agenda (CYA) comdemned the destruction, stealing and vandalization of the electric infrastructure (cables) connecting the two communities by the hoodlums.
In his words ;
“It is very sad and unfortunate that oung people were caught vandalizing our near none electric infrastrutures with the aim of making money. It is more worrisom especially now that we are agitating for more development of the creek considering its neglect developmentally over the years. To me, i feel pained that young people who ougth to protect our facilities in the creek are the ones peppetrating such naferous acts of destruction,” the statement read.
“Therefore, i urge those with such criminal minds to desist from such and engage themselves in productive ventures that will add value to our creek and the society at large or they should be ready to face the full wrath of the law when apprehended.”
