Popular Nigerian crossdresser and entertainer, James Brown, has explained why he is not ashamed of acting like a woman, despite internet criticism.

During a question-and-answer session on his Instagram page, the transvestite underlined that he enjoys acting like a woman and isn’t ashamed of it.

When a fan inquired as to why, he explained that he had shed his shame after being wrongfully accused of being a gay many years ago.

It can be recalled that James Brown became an internet sensation after he and some others were nabbed by men of the Nigerian police force at a gay party in 2018. James Brown met with popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, shortly after the incident, and he has been crossdressing ever since, engaging his fans and followers with his content.

Well, during the interactive session with his fans and followers last night the drag queen said that the experience in August 2018 shaped his current identity.

Nigerian singer and proud father of three, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared a lovely video of him spending quality time with his son, Ifeanyi.

The music executive, who recently moved to his Banana Island estate, shared the sweet father-son moments on his Instagram feed on Monday night, April 25.

Davido shared videos and photos of his son, including one in which the child slept cradled in his arm. Sharing the photos, the 30 BG boss declared Ifeanyi an automatic billionaire.

Drunk police officer allegedly kills two people at birthday party in Lagos (Photos)

A trigger-happy policeman is currently at large after he allegedly killed two people at a birthday party organized at a bar in Gowon Estate, in the Egbeda area of Lagos.

Eyewitnesses report that the officer was given food and drinks by the party organizers who asked him to join in their celebration and it was after he ate and drank alcohol to his satisfaction that he began shooting sporadically and in the process killing two of the guests who were spraying money at the celebrant.

A video that was shared online showed the graphic bodies of the deceased people as well as those who sustained gunshot injuries.

Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the state police command, SP Benjamin said

“I can confirm there was shooting at the bar on Sunday night and two persons were killed. We are investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting. I can assure you that those responsible will not go free. They will face the music. The commissioner of police Lagos State, CP Abiodun Alabi, has zero tolerance for such behaviour and has already given marching orders to the DPO to fish out the culprits.”

It was reported that the policeman was invited to provide security by the celebrant identified as Ifeanyi alias Asiwaju of Computer Village.

The Chrisland school girl saga lingers on and just recently, news made round that the girl deleted her social media account and tendered an apology on social media.

According to PUNCH, the father of the girl in the said video has now come out to hint that the apology was from a fake account.

The Father averred that his daughter hasn’t touched the phone or been on the internet since the controversial video went viral and the account (likee) has been deleted but people still found a way to create a fake account with her identity.

In his words;

“My daughter has never touched the phone for the past two weeks. She has never touched anything Internet; those accounts are fake and we have deleted them as of Friday, 87 fake accounts.

“Can a 10-year-old girl delete social media? This child has never touched anything Internet or phone. She doesn’t have an account on (Likee). The account was closed as soon as we found out. These people (school) hid this thing for the past one month, we found out and raise the alarm.

“We are surprised that they started going to pick a child’s picture; like a child will stay in the house and snap a picture and start posting it, so we closed the account.

The alleged 10-year-old Chrisland schoolgirl involved in the explicit incident with a male student during a school competition in Dubai has deleted all videos of her on her Likee social media app and has apologized as well.

The young lady was earlier suspended from the school after it was alleged that she was raped by senior students — the incident garnered varying reactions as the school stated denied the allegations that the child was raped under their care and took her for a pregnancy test without her parents’ knowledge or consent.

A video of the explicit incident between the students in Dubai then went viral on social media and had netizens’ tongues wagging as they argued about the actions of the children.

The video also drew attention to the schoolgirl’s Likee social media account where she has thousands of followers and posts videos many considered “inappropriate” for her age.

After her suspension from school for engaging in sexual misconduct with a male student, the young girl took to her Likee account to apologize for her bad behaviour before deleting the videos on her account.

She wrote: “I made a mistake, now I’m living with the consequences. I regret it, I really do. And I’m sorry.”

She also took to her TikTok account where she also has thousands of followers to tender an apology.

She added: “Don’t let your past dictate who you are, but let it be a lesson that strengthens the person you’ll become.”

A mentally challenged woman who receives daily visits from her loyal dog caught the attention of residents around the area she stays.

A Twitter user shared photos of the dog playing with the mentally unstable woman and revealed that the loyal canine usually visits the woman every night.

The user with the handle, @Nigeriangod_ also disclosed that the woman’s family and friends have abandoned her but the dog makes checks on her whenever it’s freed for the night.

Sharing her photos, the Twitter user wrote,

A Nigerian lady who happens to be a vlogger has claimed that her estranged spouse is a gay man and that their marriage ended only 12 hours after they were officially bound in Holy Matrimony.

The lady, identified as Chioma Igbojekwe took to her Facebook page to reveal that her ex proposed to her exactly 3 years ago and she accepted, with the mindset that he was “God sent” because he is a music director.

She then revealed that only 12 hours after their wedding, the said man told her it was over. According to her, she later got to discover that the man she’d married is a gay man and has been married to a man for years in the UK.

She also shared how her ex gave her picture to his alleged gay partner to approve of her before he married her. Her post was met with some questions from Facebook users who accused her of making a false allegation against her ex.

In a fresh episode of not-everything-you-see-on-social-media-is-real, a young man was left stunned after discovering the length a couple went just so they could project serving couple goals and make people go “awww”.

According to the user who took to Twitter to reveal what he discovered, a couple technically lied about something that happened to them just so people could be in awe of their relationship.

The user, with the handle @UnusualBobo took to the social networking platform to reveal how a lady purchased a car with her own money but had her husband decorate it with a red ribbon just so he could present it as though he was the one who bought the car for her.

@UnusualBobo shared that when the said husband presented the car to his wife, she went all dramatic and shed crocodile tears, asking what she’d done to deserve such from him.

Police arrests husband and wife for allegedly beating their maid to death in Lagos

Men of the Lagos State Police command have effected the arrest of a woman and her husband following the death of their maid.

The deceased, identified as one Joy Akom Adole, was living with Nene Fortune and her husband, Stephens at No. 18 Ogundola Street, Bariga, Lagos.

According to reports, Joy started working with the couple in January of 2022, and was being paid N15k monthly. On April 20, 2022, the couple called the police to report that Joy had committed suicide following a misunderstanding with her madam, Fortune.

However, after the police visited the scene, they saw marks of violence on the body of the deceased, pointing at torture.

Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, Bala Elkana, said,

“Our operatives at Bariga received a complaint from a couple that their househelp committed suicide. That is the initial report that they got.

“The DPO led a team of Homicide detectives to the house and they saw the housegirl hanging on a rope but the way she stood on the rope raised an eyebrow because it actually looked like it was a stage managed event.

“The detectives went further to check for marks of violence and they saw a lot, fresh wound. She was actually tortured so there is a likelihood that she died and they tried to cover up by putting her on a rope to show she committed suicide.”

Teenage girl beats 85-year-old woman to death, accuses her of witchcraft

A teenage girl identified as Happy David was arraigned and charged to court for allegedly clubbing an 85-year-old woman, Gama Jatau, to death in Adamawa state.

According to a report by SaharaReporters, Happy took law into her hands and clubbed the octogenarian to death because she felt that the deceased casted spells on her to slow down her academic progress and also frequently inflict her with diseases.

The incident is reported to have occurred on the 8th of April, 2022, in Tambo village in the Girei Local Government Area of the state. Armed with a stick, David reportedly stormed the residence of the deceased by 1pm on the fateful day and hit her on the head repeatedly.

The victim was later pronounced dead at the Jabbi-Lamba clinic. Happy was apprehended and has been charged to court on a count of murder, an offence contrary to Section 191 of the Penal Code Law of Adamawa 2018.

She pleaded guilty as charged.

In other news, a Nigerian woman sent her housemaid packing for allegedly practicing witchcraft under her roof.

In a video shared online, the woman is seen confronting the housemaid and accusing her of planning evil against her and her household.

According to the woman, she employed the maid barely three weeks ago and have been treating her well, only for her to be repaid with evil.

Although she didn’t disclose what the maid did wrong, the woman asked her if she wasn’t ‘warned’ beforehand that she can’t practice witchcraft in her home because she has a discerning spirit. Watch the video here

Thieves forced to sing praises to God after they were caught stealing (Video)

Whether it’s for the atonement of their sins, punishment for their crime or just amusement for the people who caught them, this duo of thieves were hilariously made to have a praise and worship session in God’s honour after they were nabbed.

While the video has been met with laughter after it was shared online because of the hilarity of the thieves’ situation, the punishment for their crime was real albeit hilarious.

According to some news outlets in Ghana, the two thieves were nabbed stealing in the Oti Region of the country and were forced to fit into a barrel, before being asked to sing praises to God.

It however is not clear what they were caught stealing, but their video has since gone viral on social media with a couple of netizens okay with the punishment they were given rather than they having a brutal one.

According to him, he asked the woman for $100 and she started asking him questions about what he needed it for and when she would get it back.

Rain said he didn’t need the money and only wanted to hear the woman’s response – and this ultimately informed his decision to cancel the trip.

200-level Benue varsity student allegedly commits suicide over family problems

An undergraduate student at the Joseph Sarwuan Tarkaa University, Makurdi, Benue State, has allegedly committed suicide over family challenges.

According to reports, the dead, Ogbonna Shedrach, from a divorced marriage, opted to end it all by hanging over the hardships of a broken family.

He’s said to have challenged his father days before the event over his refusal to give him N50,000 to cover certain urgent expenses.

The Public Relations Officer of the school’s students union, Comrade Zaki Christian, confirmed the death of the 200-level student in a statement on Sunday, April 24.

“We have confirmed details and death of Ogbona Shedrach aged 20, a 200L Student of our Varsity in the department of Biochemistry. According to family, Late Ogbona Shedrach comes from a divorced marriage and until death faced challenges associated with the fate of a broken home

“Sequel to his death, Ogbona had confronted his father to release a token of 50,000 to assist him settle pressing needs, a conversation that took place repeatedly and angered him to succumb to SUICIDE BY HANGING after his father’s refusal to release the said amount.

“As a students Union we have only become privy of this story on the premise of his death. We regret deeply this ugly menace and are reposed to kindly charge our Students to embrace whatever pains of life as occasioned to them by default, speak out where necessary but Never succumb to SUICIDE, MURDER OR CRIME. Taking to Facebook on Friday, April 22, Rain disclosed that he put the woman to a test and she failed it, so he cancelled the trip and requested for a refund.

According to him, he asked the woman for $100 and she started asking him questions about what he needed it for and when she would get it back.

Rain said he didn’t need the money and only wanted to hear the woman’s response – and this ultimately informed his decision to cancel the trip.

He wrote,

“I ask this woman I’ve been talking to for a minute for $100. I get a what do you need it for? When do I get it back? A whole bunch of questions lol.

I planned a trip for us in the Mountains in Colorado for 4 days. Hotel cost per night $200…white water rafting $150 per person…zip lining $125 per person…hot air balloon $250 per person…SUV rental $80/day…not to mention food cost. I had all this covered.

Just cancelled everything and got my deposits back. I didn’t need the $100 I was just seeing what type of response I’d get if I asked for it. I didn’t ask when do I get my money back when I was planning the vacation I was just handling business. People don’t think long term. Test failed.”

According to her, most men who serenade their women and say sweet things about them online only do that on social media, and don’t show the same affections in reality.

Putting a number to the amount of men who abuse their wives at home despite publicly praising them, the former Big Brother Naija claimed 70% of married men are culprits.
