“It’s disrespectful for a married woman to ask for money from any man that’s not her husband.
And this includes her own brothers.
If she wants to ask for money from her own brothers, she should first seek for the consent of her husband.
Even if her husband is broke & they need the money.
Even if she used the money to sort problems in their family.
She must first get his consent. The worst are married women who go all the way to ask their ex for financial help.
It’s a let down on her husband. Even if she didn’t ask from her brothers & they just decided to give, she should still tell her husband. She can decide not to say the exact amount, depending on the type of man she’s married to but he should be made aware.
Call it pride or ego or whatever, but no man takes it kindly to know that another man is financing his wife.”
A lot of men have expressed agreement with John Doe’s tweet as they affirm that it’s indeed disrespectful for their woman to ask other men for money.
Reacting, a Ghanaian man disclosed that he had to divorce his wife because she was consistently asking her brothers and cousins for money.
A Benue State Polytechnic lecturer, Andrew Ogbuja has been acquitted of the charges of rape and death of 13-year-old schoolgirl, Ochanya Ogbanje, on Thursday April 28.
It can be recalled that in 2018, it was reported that the minor was constantly raped by her aunt’s husband, Andrew and his son, Victor, until she took ill and died.
Ochanya who was buried in November 2018, battled Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) and other health complications at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi before she passed away.
In a recent development, the prime suspect, Ogbuja, has been acquitted by the Benue state High Court Judge, Justice Augustine Ityonyiman, on grounds that the prosecution couldn’t prove the four-count charge against him.
The Judge assessed two autopsy reports from the Federal Medical Centre in Makurdi and the Nigeria Police Forensic Laboratory in Lagos, and stated that the police investigators didn’t medically examine Ogbuja to match his specimen with that of the deceased.
Ityonyiman, who was reportedly perplexed by the situation, said the autopsy report from the Federal Medical Centre in Makurdi said Ogbanje died from natural causes, while the one from the Nigeria Police Forensic Laboratory in Lagos said she died from a sickness related to sexual abuse.
Although the deceased narrated the agonizing experience she passed through in the hands of the Ogbujas in a video evidence presented in court, Ityonyiman said he regrets that she couldn’t share her story before she died and then acquitted the lecturer of all charges.
However, in a separate case filed against his wife, Felicia Ochiga-Ogbuja, before the Federal High Court in Makurdi by NAPTIP – National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking In Persons, she was convicted of negligence in the rape of the minor.
She was accused of failing to protect the deceased from being raped and abused by her husband and son.
The Judge in charge of her case, Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon, said Mrs Felicia failed in her duty to care and protect the minor, allowing her son to abuse her even after her daughter, Winifred, drew her attention to the sexual assault.
Judge Olajuwon also noted that Mrs Felicia didn’t challenge claims that she threatened to throw the minor out of the house if she told anyone about the sexual abuse.
Olajuwon added;
“When Ochanya was examined, it was discovered that the membrane covering the vagina opening was not there, which is an indication that Ochanya had been deflowered.
“During examination, it was discovered that Ochanya had urinated on her bed as she could not hold her bladder.
“The medical report further stated that a working diagnoses of the fecal and urinanary incontinence in a sexually abused child was made.”
She added that asides the physical injuries, the minor would have been scarred for life if she had survived the abuses.
In passing her judgement, Judge Olajuwon said,
“I hold that the defendant is guilty as charged in respect of count one and that the defendant is guilty as charged contrary to Section 314 of the Criminal Code and she is hereby convicted.”

A Nigerian slay Queen on Instagram known as Mabel has taken to her stories to seemingly justify the trending story of girls having sexual intercourse with dogs for money.
According to Mabel, people do a lot of things to get money and it isn’t easy to keep up with the pressure in Lagos. She also averred that she will prefer to sleep with dogs than to sleep with some men.
“I don’t want to have sex with a dog for money, I will prefer to have sex with a man”..hello, most of these men are animals already, dogs are better than them. There are some men that I will prefer to have sex with a dog than to have sex with them You saw that girls are having sex with dogs and you as a man, you are frowning your face, it is not a new thing, there are people who have sex with animals, there’s a name for this thing, it’s called Bestiality, it’s not new. Lots of people do lots things for money, getting money is not easy for some people, that’s the reason you are doing 419 and yahoo, someone is having sex with a Dog and you’re frowning your face. Don’t act like you are holy or you are a saint
The girls that do these things are the exact kind of girls you want, girls that have their own house, cars at a very young age. Do you think it is easy, the pressure in Lagos is too much. Let’s not be judgmental, everybody has their own thing they are doing for money.
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s elder brother, Uche, has said their family is not in support of Yul’s second marriage.
Yul Edochie caused a stir on social media on Wednesday after he went public with his second marriage to colleague Judy Austin and revealed they have a son together.
Reacting to the news, Yul’s brother, in a lengthy Instagram post, said his brother’s wife of 17 years, May, has been unfairly treated.
He emphasized that Yul’s marriage to actress Judy Austin was not supported by the Edochie family, who counseled him against going ahead with the marriage, but he refused.
“Hello guys. So my younger brother Yul Edochie just married a second wife out of the blue and Nigerians are freaking out. I get it. We are all shocked. I am a low key type of guy and I have tried to mind my own business but this circus is chasing me around too. So here is my take.
I see two main problems here. His first wife Mary, a wonderful woman and my sister in law did not go into a relationship with my brother agreeing to be part of a polygamous marriage. That’s the first problem. So I feel for Mary. It is not fair on her. My family are not in support. This is not what we do and we are trying our best to console Mary. What else can we do?
The second issue is that Yul is not a Muslim. If he was a Muslim, no one will be talking about this. Muslims marry as many wives as they want and nobody says shit. Traditional rulers and traditionalists of sorts do the same thing too and the Nigerian constitution recognizes polygamy as a legal marital union. Maybe we should burn that bloody constitution.
We told Yul not to do it. He did it anyway. Have you ever tried controlling an adult when it comes to relationships? Good luck with that. Yul is an adult who feels marrying a second woman is the best way to own up to his mistakes and make things right. It took a lot of courage for him to do this too.
A Muslim marries two or more wives and his people throw a party. Totally normal. A Christian does the same thing and he is the worst human being alive. It is tough. Women throw themselves at famous people so bad that it is suffocating. If the average person walks in Yul’s shoes for one year, they will get five or more women pregnant. So don’t be quick to judge if you have not lived that life. Most people will do worse.
So this is Yul’s new baby with his new wife. Beautiful boy. Children are a gift from God. It is the circumstances of their birth that gets us all riled up about what’s right and wrong. I wish them all luck. Maybe Yul should become a Muslim and shut this circus down. It is said that life is what happens when we are making other plans. I was minding my own business. And now this. Fantastic. He wrote.

The 47-year-old, in an interview with Inkblot while speaking on her journey into the Nigerian movie industry, said she started acting to avoid marriage.
According to her, she went into acting in 1996, about 26 years ago, to run away from getting married early.
In her words,
“After school I didn’t think I was going to be an actor. It wasn’t the first thing on my mind. I did it in a bid to run away from getting married early.
“I ran away from home with a backpack. It was the second time ever I had got on a bus.
“So I got on a bus and instead of going to Satellite Town, where we lived at the time, I went the other way towards Badagry, because I wanted to run away.
“Then, in some village along that road, I saw cameras. So I jumped down and that was the first time I met Kate Henshaw. That was 1996, when I graduated. That’s how I met Julius Agwu, Francis Agwu — all of them were on that set.
“The movie was called ‘Scars of Womanhood’ I think. But for me, it was not so much about the work. It was that I wasn’t home. I got down from the bus and I told them I read Theatre Arts. They said oh okay, she (Kate Henshaw) needs a friend. I met her (Kate) and we formed a bond that has lasted till tomorrow.
“Meanwhile, my mother was looking for me. I got back home after about two weeks and my mother started washing me: ‘You are going to disgrace me!’ I said ‘Ah, I don’t want to marry’. I didn’t tell her about the movie set. I just told her that it looks like I’m going to be an actress and she said ‘Over my dead body’.”

Big Brother Naija star and entrepreneur, Ifu Ennada, has berated ladies who date married men and men who cannot stay faithful to their wives.
Women in romantic relationships with males they know are married, according to Ennada, have a specific place in hell reserved for them.
“Single girls who date/sleep with married men in monogamous marriages have a special place in hell. You can always say no to their advances but selfishness has you out here hurting your own gender.” She wrote.
Addressing cheating husbands, the reality star urged them to at least use protection during intercourse with their side chicks to protect their innocent wives from STIs.
“If you are going to cheat on your wives, use condom abeg. An unplanned pregnancy isn’t the only thing that can happen…STDs are not a joke. It will be selfish of you to share STDs from your ugly affairs to your wife who has done nothing but stay faithful to your adulterous ass. Don’t forget your brain when obtaining cheap focos.” She added.
