Pastor Sunday Adelaja, the founder of the largest evangelical church in Europe, Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations, has opined that Putin is fighting for Christian Values and against same sex marriage.

He said that in his bid to avoid being caught up in the war, he had to leave the country with only one shirt.

He also revealed that he lost property worth over $4 million to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Speaking via a Zoom meeting organised by Network of African Christian Journalists, the pastor told people to avoid misrepresenting Putin, saying the man is fighting for traditional values of the Christian faith.

In his words;

“I’m beginning to believe that this Vladimir Putin who everybody is saying is mad and demon-possessed is the same man that is fighting for traditional values of the Christian faith.

“He is saying Christianity and satanism are not equal.

“He is against homosexuals, saying same-sex marriage is wrong.

“What is happening in Ukraine right now is pathetic and very unfortunate.

“Lives are being lost.

“My house, which is worth about $4 million, was burnt.

“I left the country only in one shirt.”

“There is nothing I need from Nigeria Christians but what I want them to realise is that this invasion may escalate and lead to the Third World War whereby Russia will be ready to use nuclear weapons.

“Let us all pray against this.

“It could lead to war that may dictate how the world will be ruled.

“War is destructive, damaging, traumatising.

“I believe that this war is the judgment of God upon Ukraine, the attacker and the attacked, the victim and the aggressor are being judged.

“There is no way one can deny the fact that this is God’s judgment.

“God may use this to glorify His name.”

A young girl got hit on the head by a ceiling fan after she climbed a table to dance while recording herself.

The video which has since gone viral, starts with the young lady backing the camera and twerking before she proceeds to stand straight on top of a table and unfortunately for her, the ceiling fan in motion hit her on the head.

Despite being hurt, the young lady gets down from the table and continues dancing like nothing happened to her and the only time she gives a sign of being hurt is when she places her hand to the spot where the fan hit her.

The lecturer from the Robert Gordon Universiry in Aberdeen, Scotland, was lecturing his students a course on leadership.

While talking about bad leadership, he used Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari as an example of a bad leader.

Thee founder and General Overseer of Christ Living Hope Church, Reverend Ekwem Emmanuel Ugochukwu, has been granted bail to the tune of N2m by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State on Friday April 1, granted

Last month, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, arrested the cleric with drugs at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

The clergyman was arrested while on his way to a crusade in Nairobi, Kenya, with 54 sticks of cannabis. wrapped around his body.

Following his arrest, the NDLEA arraigned the suspect on a one-count of unlawful export of the banned drug. He was first arraigned on 29 March.

The charge reads: “That you Ekwem Emmanuel Ugochukwu, male, adult, on or about the 7th day of March 2022 during the outward clearance of passengers of Ethiopia Airlines flight to Kenya at screening 1, Departure Hall of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja-Lagos, without lawful authority exported 40 grammes of Cannabis Sativa, a narcotic drug similar to Cocaine, Heroin, and LSD.”

In his ruling, the presiding judge, Justice Daniel Osiagor, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N2 million with one surety after his “not guilty” plea to a one-count charge and adjourned the trial to June 26.

He, however, remanded the defendant in NCoS custody till the perfection of his bail conditions.
