Popular Instagram comedian, Mr. Macaroni, has shared a video which captured his hilarious reaction when a lady he gave the liberty to request any amount from him, went overboard with her request.
Lekki residents on Wednesday, March 30, met over the planned reopening of the tollgate and resumption of tolling at the Ikoyi bridge. After the meeting, Mr. Macaroni decided to have some fun with some of the people who were present at the meeting. He gave his phone to a lady and asked her to put in her account number, just like he does in his skits.
The lady, who saw it as an opportunity to make some money, quickly took the phone from him and entered 1 million Naira.
The comic act was taken aback when he saw the amount she inputted, Macaroni, however did not approve the 1 million transfer, rather, he sent her N200,000.
Sharing the video on his Twitter handle, he wrote, ”Haaaa! 1 Million Naira?? How much is my net worth? 😂😭”

“Establish department of spiritual intelligence to avert attacks” – Primate Ayodele tells FG
Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has proposed a solution to the persistent bandit attacks and insecurity in Nigeria.
The clergyman while reacting to the Abuja-Kaduna train attack said the major cause of insecurity in Nigeria is the lack of respect for God and his prophets by the government of the day.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele said he had warned against terrorist attacks on Nigerian airports, railways, and train stations but “because of the arrogance the government has towards God, they never bothered to listen or follow his instructions on how to avert it.”
Speaking further, he urged security operatives to create a department for spiritual intelligence where they will join forces with prophets who can tell them terrorists’ targets and how they can overcome them.
In his words,
“In my recent prophecy, I had warned the government of Kaduna State against bombings, it’s not surprising that bandits attacked facilities in the state, all these are happening because the government doesn’t respect prophets, they see prophets as beggars or publicity seekers which is very wrong.
“As a prophet, I have enough publicity and God has blessed me so well, the ignorance of the government to prophetic warnings and advice is the cause of this crisis in Nigeria, they feel they can do it alone and where has that taken them to?
“The service chiefs, DSS, need the department of spiritual intelligence where they will join forces with prophets who will tell them what to expect, where to expect it according to God’s directive. Other countries do it but in Nigeria, we have an arrogant government that doesn’t refer to God, listen to him and berate him.
“Prophets talk every day because God speaks always, it’s the responsibility of the government and security formation to pay attention and work on it. You can’t take chances when it comes to issues about national security.”

Train Attack: Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi appeals to Nigerians to raise money for victim’s treatment
The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has appealed to Nigerians to raise money for the treatment of those injured in the Kaduna-Abuja train attack.
The politician made this appeal on Wednesday, March 29, during his visit to the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna where the victims are being treated.
According to him, the Army have been treating the patients without any charge since the incident, and have administered drugs not manufactured in Nigeria to the patients.
He then asked Nigerians to contribute money for their treatment.
His exact words,
”The CMD and I have been talking, the army has not charged one kobo on any patient, and they have given the maximum medical treatment that they can give to any patients.
”You saw the patients with burns and then the one that has bullet located in her heart. They are bringing an expert tomorrow for that one to see if there will be surgery or not to take out the bullet.
”They said they have only seven (patients) left and the rest have been discharged. The ministry, and I think the federal government, are grateful to the Nigerian Army for providing such services. But one thing I have said to the Nigerian people is to liaise with the hospital management and see how much money they can contribute for the treatment of the patients.
”Obviously those drugs are not manufactured here, the experts they are bringing from outside doesn’t work with the army, so they definitely have to pay them. We will try as much as possible to see what contributions we can make to the management of the hospital to assist in taking care of the patients.”

Eguavoen steps down as Super Eagles coach following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for 2022 World Cup
Super Eagles head coach, Austin Eguavoen, has resigned from his role following Nigeria’s 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff defeat to the Black Stars of Ghana.

Brila FM, reports that Eguavoen has sent an official resignation letter to the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, stating his decision to resign.
The Sports radio station said Eguavoen will now return to his role as Technical Director of all national teams. However, the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF is yet to release an official statement.
The NFF had handed a two-year contract to Eguavoen two days before the first leg of the World Cup play-off against Ghana.

A video currently making the rounds online shows a Nigerian soldier praying to God for protection as he walks alone in a bush.
In the video that found its way to the internet, the uniformed soldier, who looked terrified, stated that his colleagues ran away, leaving him alone in the bush.
It appears they suffered an attack from terrorists before fleeing to different directions for safety.

In other news, gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted eight Lagos-bound bus passengers along Kabba road in Kogi State.
According to a survivor who took to Twitter to thank God for her life and give details of the attack, they were travelling from Abuja to Lagos when the armed men came out of nowhere to attack the commercial bus.
The lady revealed that the armed men shot at the tyres of the bus, which made the bus come to a halt. Immediately, every passenger ran in different directions, with some unfortunate ones getting shot in the leg.
She said she ran into the bush and was eventually saved alongside 3 others, while other passengers were taken away by the bandits.
She added that she finally got to Lagos by 2a.m the following day.
Man arrested for attempting to rape his mother
A 36-year-old man, Dan Otieno, has been arrested and arraigned in a Kisumu court in Kenya, for attempting to rape his mother.
It was gathered that the suspect arrived home drunk, attacked his mother and attempted to rape her.
The incident reportedly occurred at Karao village, Kombewa division Seme Sub-county within Kisumu county. Caleb Okuom who is the area chief said he got the information through one of the village managers, Martin Omware.
The accused arrived home while drunk then he started assaulting his mother and attacking her with an intention of raping her”, Caleb Okuom said.
The area chief added that immediately he was informed about this, he acted swiftly with the help of village elders, arrested Otieno and handed him over to Kombewa police station.
The Area OCPD, Hellen Rotich told K24TV that the suspect was detained at Kombewa police station and arraigned in a Kisumu court on Wednesday, March 30.

A Nigerian Actor took to his social media page yesterday to lament bitterly after he was reportedly detained and extorted by men of the Nigerian Police Force.

I just came out from police detention now and I was extorted. They stopped my bolt ride at 3rd mainland bridge and they said I should enter my school portal after I told them I’m a student which I did. I showed them and the saw my profile. They left there and stated checking my social media. Checked my Twitter handle and asked why is my name thespiankadesh (my nickname because I’m truly a thespian) when my school ID is showing Edobor Efosa Clinton (my real name). They said I’m a fraudster. They checked my WhatsApp and saw transactions of me buying Bitcoin and giftcards as I’m a mini vendor and they said I’m a yahoo boy.
They entered my bolt ride and told the driver to drive to EFCC office at Ikoyi. When we got close, they stopped and asked me how much I can give them because if I get there it will be worse. They said I should bring 5 million Naira because I’d spend more to bail myself if I get to efcc office. I said I don’t have that kind of money and they asked how much I have. I don’t know how to do thread. Long story short, I was extorted off my hard earned money. This country will not end me. I’m still in shock and pains. It was like I was kidnapped. They didn’t allow me access to my phone to at least call my family members. This happens about 45 mins ago. I don’t have a large Twitter audience that’s why I’m tweeting under this tweet. I must leave this country.

Veteran singer, 2face Idibia has shared his thoughts on the monies said to have been looted by former military dictator, late General Sani Abacha.
Taking to his Instastories, 2face opined that Abacha possibly didn’t steal the billions of dollars linked to him, but kept them in foreign accounts away from people who wanted to loot them.
According to him, if the monies were indeed looted by the former head of state, successive governments would not have been able to recover them.

Singer, Seun Kuti, has reacted after Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi said it will cost more than N3 billion to fix the damages caused by the Abuja-Kaduna train attack.
The minister, in an interview after the terrorist attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday night, bemoaned the fact that more than N3bn has been lost to the attack on the Abuja-Kaduna rail route.
While reacting to the unfortunate incident at the scene of the attack, the Minister said the unfortunate event could have been avoided if a N3 billion digital security equipment had been acquired.

Media personality, Toke Makinwa has said that she has never felt the need to relocate from Nigeria as much as she is feeling now.

A video making rounds online shows the moment a zealous pastor was wiping the makeup off the face of a bride and her bridesmaid.
In the trending video, the bride and her groom are seen standing at the altar to take their wedding vows, when the pastor made a U-turn and started cleaning the bride’s makeup with a damp napkin.
He also ordered the bridesmaid to scrap off the bride’s nail polish off her fingernails and gave her a scissors to do so.
After cleaning the bride’s makeup to his satisfaction, the pastor proceeded to also wipe the bridesmaid’s makeup with the same napkin he used on the bride’s face.
All the while, the groom simply stood and didn’t make any move while the crowd could be heard hailing the pastor.

Her grand-daughter, who shared photos from her convocation ceremony on Twitter, revealed that her grandma bagged a Masters in Business Administration.
“Grandmother is graduating! She did her MBA (Master of Business Administration) and is graduating just shy of her 80th birthday!!! Never give up on your dreams”, she captioned the photos.

He further said: “She wouldn’t give me a car. I’ve been begging my sister for a car for many years to do Uber, for many years now, so that I can at least, on my own, provide for my family, provide for my wife and my three children. My sister has never responded to me.”
She offered me to be her manager but at the end of the day, she turned me to be her errand boy, to a slave.
“Annie is evil, like, she doesn’t want me to be able to stand on my own.”
“Every slight opportunity she will call my wife and insult my wife. She insults everybody. She’s violent. Every night she’s on drug, every day she’s on drug.”
“I want Nigerians to know today that if anything happens to me or any member of my family, it is not far from Annie. I need help. I cannot continue like this, I’m scared. I don’t know what I’m going to do next. She’s on drugs.

Man recounts how EFCC officers double-crossed his car and ordered him down for an interrogation
A Nigerian man has recounted how EFCC operatives double crossed his car and ordered him for an interrogation yesterday March 30.
The man who shared his story via his Twitter handle revealed that he was on his way home after dropping his kids at school when he was stopped by the EFCC officers who asked him to come down.
Read his account of what transpired below ;
On my way back from my kid’s school this morning, around past 8, I was double-crossed and harassed by men of the EFCC
They came down from a white hummer bus after overtaking me at Olusoji area in Oluyole. Heavily armed police officers and two guys approached my car, I wound down the window, and they yelled that I come down and hand over my phone.
I handed over my phone, I introduced myself and what I do professionally, and I asked who they were as they were not in uniform — only one was putting on a red bib, and the other was holding his red bib.
They said they were from the EFCC.
They caused a scene obviously with serious hold-up; people were staring as they probably thought a fraudster had been apprehended.
After rigorously searching my phone, they handed it over with my ID and said “I was not the one they were looking for” as they took to their heels.
These guys gave no apology or an explanation for why I was harassed; they forcefully took my phone before I could even gather my breath. I managed to snap those few pictures as they fled the scene they created.
I couldn’t even drive my car off as everything happened in a flash. My heart has never beat this fast before in my life. What a morning I had, May Nigeria not happen to us.
They now mount road block in Owerri..I just don’t get it…they caught Obiano that stole huge sum of money and nothing was made out of the case so mounting road blocks in Owerri is the best way now
