Her mother, full of pride and gratitude, showed up in church wearing her daughter’s NYSC vest and white tennis sneakers. A bold fashion combo that drew attention and laughter in equal measure.

The post sparked laughter and warm reactions across social media, with many users relating to the mother and the pride that often comes with being the first graduate or NYSC member in a family.

“You can’t be a feminist if you’re broke” – Media Personality Adeife sparks debate with bold statement

Nigerian media personality Adeife has sparked conversations online after making a bold declaration about feminism and financial independence.

In a recent video, Adeife stated that true feminism requires money, not just opinions or online activism.

According to Adeife, many women remain trapped in toxic relationships, unsatisfying jobs, or limiting environments simply because they lack financial freedom.

“Feminism is not just about tweeting or having opinions, it’s about having options, and you don’t have options when you don’t have money. Money is what makes a woman powerful. You can’t be empowered without the means of empowerment, which is money.” She said

She went on to urge women to focus less on online debates and more on building wealth.

Her comments have ignited mixed reactions across social media. While some users hailed her message as a necessary wake-up call, others argued that financial status shouldn’t determine a person’s right to identify as a feminist.

Below are some of the reactions;

Feminism is about equality, not your bank balance. You don’t need money to know your worth.

“You don’t need money to be a Feminist, but you need money as a Feminist. Many feminist movements aim to address economic inequality through promoting equal pay, opportunities, and financial decision-making power for women.”

“Feminism isn’t about money, it’s about equality. You don’t have to be rich to believe women deserve respect and fair treatment. Financial independence only amplifies your voice, not your worth. Na only Nigeria una dey change the narrative of feminism.”

Says a girlie’s girl that always exploits other girls…It’s sad that an average Naija girl wants to belong rather than hold people accountable. I de come…I go respond.

Lady reveals her friend bl0cked her for not asking about her delay in having children

A Nigerian lady has taken to X (Twitter) to share an experience that led to the end of a long-time friendship.

According to the woman, her friend, who has been married for some time and is reportedly trying to conceive (TTC), accused her of being insensitive for never bringing up the issue of her childlessness.

Despite the fact that she had been privately praying for her friend to conceive, the lady admitted she struggled with how to approach such a delicate topic directly.

The woman went on to explain that her friend didn’t give her the chance to respond or explain. Instead, she blocked her and ended their friendship, saying she was no longer interested in the relationship.

My old-time friend has been married for a while now, a TTC mum, 1 day she challenged me that I’m a bad person. I never for once ask her why she’s yet to give birth any issues. Meanwhile, I sincerely don’t know how to ask her, and also how she’s going to feel if I ask such a question, the reason being I always put her in my prayers. Was I truly at fault for not asking? She wrote.

The story has sparked conversation online, with many internet users debating who was truly at fault, the friend for expecting verbal support, or the lady for remaining silent despite her good intentions.

Below are some of the comments;
“Try visiting her and explaining your part, you did no wrong. She’s just overwhelmed and needs someone to talk to.”
“When you’re interceeding for someone and the answer is close, the devil finds a way to bring up offense or quarrel between you too. Find a way to settle with her, don’t stop praying for her.”
“She just overreacted, but maybe you should have jokingly asked if she’s kicking well with her husband, and that’s you can wait to be an auntie lol, but it is well; it’s an interplay of privacy and over-avoidance.”

Lady shares what she did after bureau de change gave her fake naira notes (IMAGES)

A Nigerian lady has shared a dramatic experience after her visit to a Bureau de Change (BDC) at CMS took an unexpected turn.

According to her, she had gone to exchange her dollars for naira, only to be handed counterfeit notes by the BDC operators.

Realizing she had been scammed, she reached out to someone she knew could handle the situation, her ex-boyfriend, who she described as ‘omo adugbo’

The ex wasted no time arriving at the scene, where he confronted the BDC agents and cornered the one who had allegedly exchanged the fake notes.

Tensions quickly escalated when one of them tried to flee, prompting her ex to pick up a stone in an attempt to hurt him.

Actress Sarah Martins ass@ulted by KAI officers while cooking free food for the homeless in Lagos

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has taken to social media in tears, recounting a disturbing encounter with operatives of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force while engaging in a charitable act in Lagos.

In a video shared online, she tearfully narrated how she was harassed, bullied, and allegedly assaulted by KAI officers while preparing free food for individuals on the streets of Lagos.

According to her, the incident took place while she was cooking healthy meals on a street in Lekki, Lagos, which was meant to be distributed at no cost to the homeless.

The officers seized her equipment, including a gas cylinder and pots of food, and allegedly splashed hot oil on her in the process.

Sarah Martin’s story quickly went viral, drawing both sympathy and outrage from fans and internet users online.

Responding to the video, Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, confirmed the incident but offered a different narrative.

“KEEP LAGOS CLEAN.
This lady claims she is ‘cooking for charity’ and she is using the median around Admiralty, Lekki Phase 1 as her ‘kitchen’.
The KAI officials have arrested her with all her equipment and cleaned up the whole axis.”
He wrote in a tweet.

While the government has not directly addressed the allegation of physical assault or the reported splashing of hot oil, Gawat’s statement indicates the state’s concern with maintaining environmental sanitation and order, especially in high-traffic areas like Admiralty Road.

Many users have questioned why the actress wasn’t warned first by the Lagos State Government, rather they choosing to shut her down forcefully.

“I have always begged to be in their lives” – Britney Spears speaks out about Pa!nful estrangement from her sons

Iconic American Pop superstar Britney Spears has shared a deep emotional message about her ongoing estrangement from her two sons.

The entertainer expressed heartbreak over their absence from her life and the impact it has had on her as a mother.

In a post online, the singer accused her ex-husband of gaslighting her, highlighting how difficult her relationship with her teenage boys has become over the years.

She revealed that one son has seen her for only 45 minutes in the past five years, while the other has visited her just four times.

Reflecting on the emotional toll of this distance, she states that she has done everything she could to be present in their lives.

The singer, now 42, also hinted that her sons may have been influenced by the disrespect she was shown by her own father, Jamie Spears.

However, Britney Spears says she is choosing to take a step back, setting boundaries for her own emotional well-being.

While clearly hurt, Britney ended the post by affirming her love for her sons and standing up for herself as a mother and a woman.

A part of her tweet read;

“Relationships with teenage boys is complex. I have felt demoralized by this situation and have always asked and almost begged for them to be a part of my life. Sadly, they have always witnessed the lack of respect shown by own father for me. They need to take responsibility for themselves. With one son only seeing me for 45 min in the past 5 years and the other with only 4 visits in the past 5 years. I have pride, too. From now on I will let them know when I am available. Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here. I will always love them and if you really know me, you won’t pay attention to the tabloids of my mental health and drinking.”

“She knew I had lupus” – Girl brǝaks down after her friend snatched her wig in public

A heartbreaking story shared on X (Twitter) has gone viral, after shedding light on a painful and devastating betrayal a lady faced.

According to the post, a young girl with lupus (an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss) had her wig forcibly snatched off by a friend in front of a group of boys.

The boys had laughed at first, but they all stopped after they saw her head; she had patches of hair and huge bald spots.

One person in the group quickly covered her head and brought her to his office, where she broke down and cried.

The tweet read;

“Teach your daughters about friends & frenemies today, a girl pulled off another girl’s wig in front of a group of boys. She has lupus. She had patches of hair, & huge bald spots. The girl who snatched the wig ran. The boys laughed at first, but when they saw her head, they all stopped. Someone covered her head, & brought her to his office. She held it together until they got there…Then she broke down. She kept slapping his desk and saying, “She’s supposed to be my friend. She knew. She knew.”

The post has struck a chord online, with many sharing and responding to the post with shock, support for the girl, and their individual experience.

Below are some of the comments;

“Some people can be like this. It’s very important to know who is for you and against you.”

And if the friend is being question, you would see how she respond in a gaslighting form and tell the friend either she’s either overreacting or she’s sorry she didn’t know it would hurt that much seeing it was a joke… Everyone knows what they’re doing.

“One time my friend asked me to follow her to see a guy and his friend. His friend complimented my body, said I was pretty. My friend said nothing then. But when he said I have yam legs, my friend laughed so loud the next table turned. Her guy wasn’t even laughing, just her.”

Man who married second wife because his first wife had only girls welcomes twin girls

A Nigerian man has become the topic of discussion online after reportedly marrying a second wife in his quest for a male child, only for the second wife to give birth to twin girls.

The story, which was shared by a neighbor on X (Twitter), quickly went viral due to sparking mixed reactions among internet users.

The neighbor noted that despite having five daughters with his first wife, the man believed she was the reason he hadn’t had a son. His decision to take a second wife was apparently driven by pressure to produce a male heir.

However, the birth of twin girls from his second wife added a twist to his fate, which many social media users found humorous.

According to the neighbor, the third wife is currently on her way to his home, and there’s a strong belief that she will also give birth to girls.

His tweet read, “My neighbor who married another wife because his first wife had 5 female kids. Today, the second wife just delivered twin girls. Even if he married another woman, she would definitely give birth to another baby girl. Third wife is on her way to the house, and she’ll definitely give birth to 10 girls.”

Below are some of the comments;

“He’s unable to understand that his sperms is what’s been produced.”

“I keep wondering why people don’t accept Allah’s blessings. It’s not about what we want, but what Allah knows is best for us. Instead of appreciating His favour, people often take a different path.”

“My former boss left his wife because she bore him six daughters; now he is a father of fourteen girls.”

Man shares why people should ‘Japa’, using his sister-in-law’s paycheck as example

A Nigerian man has gained traction online after highlighting that more Nigerians should consider ‘Japa’ while using his sister-in-law’s success story abroad as an example.

In a post on X (Twitter), he revealed that his sister-in-law, a medical doctor, recently received her first biweekly paycheck after relocating to the United States.

According to him, she took home $6,380.63, despite working only Monday to Thursday, contrasting her previous life in Nigeria, where she earned less than ₦200,000 monthly after working tirelessly from Mondays to Fridays for six years.

He ended the post with a strong message to Nigerians, urging them to ‘Run!’

His tweet read;

My sister-in-law worked Monday to Thursday and got her first biweekly paycheck as a medical doctor – $6,380.63 net pay… The same person worked tirelessly from Mondays to Fridays in Nigeria as a medical doctor and got less than 200k monthly pay for 6 years… Let that sink $6k plus bi-weekly, and will get an additional $6k plus in 2 weeks. 12k net pay monthly.. Pay gets to increase each year.. I am thankful Nigeria didn’t happen to her. She is alive today to enjoy and live the best things money can buy.  Her hard work paid off. Thank you, God! Nigeria is another reason to move.. Run! Run!! Run!!!“.

Below are some of the comments the post gained;

“This is quite emotional. Imagine from $120 per month to about $13k per month. It won’t be well with the politicians that kept Nigeria in the dark. Anyone that can leave, shouldn’t look back.”

“They will tell you Nigerian doctors had heavily subsidized education, so they shouldn’t complain about the poor salary and unpaid allowances.”

“Omo, $12k monthly compared to 200k . No medical doctor in nigeria earns more than 900k salary.”

University Professor Turns Cameraman to Help Three Female Students Capture the Perfect Shot (WATCH)

In a heartwarming twist that’s winning over the internet, a college professor took on an unexpected role, turning into a photographer extraordinaire for his students, and the results were both wholesome and hilarious.

The viral moment was shared by one of the students, part of a trio of friends who had just wrapped up a major campus event.

Dressed to slay and ready to capture the moment, they suddenly realized they had no one to take their photos.

That’s when a certain professor stepped in, and what began as a casual photo op quickly turned into a full-on photoshoot.

But this wasn’t just a “click-and-go” situation. The professor was fully committed to the role: crouching, panning, holding the phone steady like a seasoned content creator.

He gave direction, asked them to step back for better angles, and snapped gallery-worthy shots with impressive precision.

The students, dressed in coordinated outfits, were clearly slaying, and their professor matched their energy behind the lens every step of the way.

The spontaneous moment quickly caught the attention of online users, who were both touched and amused by the professor’s effort and enthusiasm.

“He’s a pathological l!ar” – Former US Mayor Mike Arnold dr@gs Reno Omokri

Former Texas Mayor Mike Arnold has called out Reno Omokri, branding the political commentator as a ‘pathological, habitual, calculating, self-serving liar.’

In a lengthy statement posted online, Arnold, who says he has interacted with Omokri in both the U.S. and Nigeria, referred to Reno as someone he once considered a close associate.

He accuses the Nigerian activist of manipulating people, faking relationships with powerful figures, and leveraging Nigeria’s worsening crisis for his personal gain.

According to Arnold, Reno Omokri falsely claimed ownership of two luxury cars in a viral video that belonged to Arnold’s friend. To boost his own reputation, he also took credit for years-long humanitarian trips he had no role in.

He lied on live TV, claiming Arnold was the current Republican mayor of Blanco, a false statement, as Arnold is neither in office nor active in politics, and repeatedly misrepresented others around him to bolster his political image.

However, Arnold’s most damning accusation centers on Omokri’s alleged attempts to whitewash the suffering of Christians in Nigeria.

“Lying to inflate yourself is one thing. Lying to cover up the Christian genocide raging in Nigeria is a bridge too far; he’s gaslighting a nation while Christians and innocent Nigerians suffer.” He stated

He concluded with an explosive claim that Reno Omokri’s ‘grand plan’ is to run for Vice President under NSA Ribaduc, a pair he mocks as  ‘delusion.’

The post has since triggered many users on social media, with the majority weighing in and some supporting Arnold’s claims.

“Nobody digs gold like Nigerian men” – Businesswoman lǝaks chat from Nigerian man wooing her (IMAGES)

A businesswoman has sparked conversation online after referring to men as gold diggers after a younger man attempted to woo her.

The businesswoman backed up her claim by sharing a chat from a younger man expressing romantic interest despite knowing her marital status.

The man had promised to be a good team player, friend, and husband to her while pleading with her to extend his greetings to her children.

She had claimed that once a woman is financially secure, age or motherhood no longer becomes a barrier to romantic attention.

Her post read;

“Nobody digs gold more than a Nigerian man. You see all that mouth they make about not marrying older women or women with children? What they really mean is: they’re not marrying broke women with children, or broke older women.
If you’re a woman in Nigeria and you have money, just watch, young guys in their 30s will flood in, proposing marriage left and right. Many of them are already married to wealthier women in their 40s, while they themselves are in their 30s. If you think it’s love, look through any popular Nigerian man that has married an older woman, and ask yourself, why is the woman always rich?
See this one, with all the family content I post on this street, he’s already building castles in the air. Shebi una see am?
Wooh, woman go find money abeg. Don’t let anyone tell you that you won’t see husband, just have correct money. You’ll see very humble, fine young men ready to marry.”

The post has sparked mixed reactions, while some accused her of generalizing and unfairly portraying Nigerian men, others agreed with her point of view.

“Poverty won’t d!e by fire, if you don’t work, it will deal with you” – Chiwetalu Agu (WATCH)

Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has stirred mixed reactions on social media following a bold statement about poverty.

In a video shared on X (Twitter), the actor dismissed the popular religious expression ‘poverty die by fire,’ asserting that without hard work, such declarations are meaningless.

The actor acknowledged the importance of prayer but emphasized that faith without works is ineffective.

According to him, prayer serves to connect people to divine opportunities, but it is human action that unlocks and sustains blessings.

Backing his message with scripture, he referenced James 2:17 and Genesis 3:19, which remind believers that hard work is part of human responsibility.

He concluded by reinforcing that success is not handed out on a platter and cannot be achieved through prayer alone.

“Poverty cannot die by fire. If you like, pray from now till tomorrow; if you don’t work hard, poverty will deal with you. God rewards diligence, not laziness. Divine blessings come, but only to those who are prepared to act on their faith. For anyone to prosper, they must be ready to work. You must labour for your food, not just pray,” He said.

The entertainer’s comment has sparked a debate online, while some agreed with his opinion, others argued that he downplays the role of spiritual warfare in overcoming poverty.

Cubana Chief Priest claps back at Cosmas Maduka over ‘Money na Water’ comment (IMAGES)

Celebrity nightlife promoter and businessman, Cubana Chief Priest, has responded to Cosmas Maduka, Chairman of Coscharis Group, after the latter criticized his phrase ‘Money na Water.’

Maduka, during a recent speaking engagement, had taken a swipe at the popular saying, often used to portray wealth and abundance, arguing that the shallow displays of money were not values he aligned with.

However, in a detailed post on Instagram, Cubana Chief Priest pushed back, accusing Maduka of being out of touch with the evolving dynamics of wealth creation in the digital era.

According to Cubana Chief Priest, while the older generation built wealth through traditional means like factories, fleets, and real estate, today’s generation operates in what he called an attention economy, where visibility is the new currency.

He emphasized that social media engagement and online presence today hold as much value as physical assets once did.

Taking further aim at Maduka, Chief Priest criticized the billionaire’s behavior at a recent event, claiming he pretended to use the restroom just to leave discreetly and avoid mingling.

He also urged Maduka to remove himself from the ranks of Tony Elumelu and Femi Otedola, whom he praised for using their wealth and platforms to elevate Africa’s image globally.

Clarifying that his viral phrase ‘Money na Water‘ is not about vanity or wastefulness, but rather a metaphor for abundance and influence in the modern age.

“Next time they can add anointing oil, holy water” – Daniel Regha reacts to Seyi Tinubu’s 1 million Bibles gift

Social media critic Daniel Regha has reacted to the plan to distribute one million Bibles in celebration of Seyi Tinubu’s birthday.

Taking to X (Twitter), Regha mocked the initiative, suggesting that perhaps next time, anointing oil and holy water could be added to the package.

Regha described the move as ‘another slap to Nigerians’, questioning the priorities of those in power while criticizing the nature of such gestures in the face of widespread poverty.

Seyi Tinubu’s birthday will be celebrated with the disbursement of “one million Bibles” to whoever will accept; A million Bibles, wonderful. Maybe next time they can add anointing oil and holy water to facilitate prayers for the poor, since that’s what is needed the most in the country now. Again, this is another sl@p to Nigerians. He wrote

He also took a jab at religious leaders, saying they may have paved the way for such performative acts.

The tweet has sparked mixed reactions online. While some defended the Bible giveaway, others agreed with Daniel Regha, arguing that what Nigerians need more urgently are practical solutions, not religious items.

Below are some of the comments;

“A million Bibles won’t feed the hungry, won’t pay school fees, won’t fix power, won’t end insecurity. Nigerians don’t need more holy books; we need holy governance.”

“Who really gives them that advice of sharing a bible no try oo……country no good una the celebrate birthday.”

The Bibles are shared for Nigerians to easily pray against the hardships. Tinubu is a master strategist for real.

“But who can we really blame? The politicians only learned this from the pulpit. When the so-called men of God normalize using religion to distract the suffering, don’t be shocked when the powerful copy the same playbook.”

Lady stages her own k!dnap, uses ransom money to relocate abroad

xr:d:DAFnCZbxwvw:832,j:4953240797083925409,t:23102510

Mixed reactions have trailed a post that was shared online, which brought to light the desperate move a lady made to leave the country.

The incident, which was shared on X (Twitter), revealed how a lady faked her kidnap and then used the ransom money to relocate abroad.

According to the post, the woman initially asked her family to support her plans to travel out of the country (popularly known as japa).

The tweet read: “This lady lied to her family, she was kidnapped, she got the ransom money, and then Japa. Called them from abroad and told them she asked nicely, but they said no money.”

However, she was turned down due to financial constraints. Leading her to fake her own abduction, which prompted her family to raise and send ransom money to ‘secure her release.’

Rather than return home, she reportedly used the funds to process her relocation and called her family only after landing abroad to reveal the truth and justify her actions by claiming she had no other choice.

While some social media users found the story amusing or even clever, others have condemned the act as manipulative and morally wrong.

Below are some of the comments;

“She deserves to be disowned and sued in court for deceit. The formal charges should be sent to her employers abroad and the local police so that she can be deported back to stand trial.”

“Na person wey know say both him family and the extended family carry go do this kain thing. If I try am, na my head dem go see for Abule Oniparaga in Ogun state.”

“I have one question for the folks bookmarking this post, what’s your plan? Talk to me, this is a safe space.”

Nigerian Foundation Offers Free IVF, Celebrity Endorsement to Tackle Infertility

The Circle Mom Fertility Foundation

Abuja, Nigeria — A new charity foundation dedicated to assisted conception has called on the Nigerian government to prioritize fertility support programmes within the national health agenda, highlighting the emotional and financial burden faced by millions of couples.

The Circle Mom Fertility Foundation, launched in Abuja, immediately offered full and partial sponsorships for In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) treatment to ten couples. Founder Dr. Charles Ojeabuo stated the initiative was created to restore hope, arguing that assisted conception is a “divine tool” that allows families to achieve parenthood.

The Circle Mom Fertility Foundation

IVF Sponsorship and Accessibility
The foundation confirmed that five couples received full IVF sponsorship, five others were granted a 50% subsidy, and every attending couple received a 20% discount on treatment. To ensure wider access across Africa’s most populous nation, the foundation is partnering with fertility centres across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, reducing the need for families to travel long distances for care.

The launch event received a significant boost from a celebrity endorsement: visibly pregnant actress and comedienne, Anita Asuoha (Real Warri Pikin), paid tribute to the founders, praising the initiative for restoring hope to families. She joined the foundation’s patron, Dr. Rose Anthony-Orianran, in advocating for the work, with Dr. Anthony-Orianran describing the foundation as a “beacon of hope.”

The Circle Mom Fertility Foundation

A Public Health Issue
Mrs. Victoria Ojeabuo, the foundation’s National Director, who has personal experience with secondary infertility, stressed that the struggle is a significant public health issue. She noted that infertility affects millions globally, and the emotional and psychological toll is often overlooked, calling it a “silent pain.”

Mrs. Ojeabuo also provided demographic details on the challenge in Nigeria, citing that infertility cases are roughly 30% male-related, 30% female-related, and 30% a combination, urging philanthropists to collaborate and strengthen this “circle of humanity.”

Legal Guidelines for Assisted Reproduction
The legal aspects of Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART) were also addressed. Guest speaker Babayemi Olawole, a legal expert, advised couples seeking surrogacy to “always choose gestational surrogacy,” warning that traditional surrogacy grants the surrogate mother biological rights to the child.

Olawole reassured attendees that while Nigeria lacks a specific statute governing ART, the practice is supported by the Constitution’s provision for private and family life. He advised couples to ensure consent forms are signed with the surrogate mother at multiple stages of the process and to avoid the temptation of knowing the surrogate personally.
