“Living as a rich man’s son is hard” – Kidwayya (VIDEO)

Billionaire son and reality TV star Kiddwaya has opened up about his lifestyle and what he does for a living, sharing the challenges that come with being a wealthy man’s son.

Speaking on the Off the Record podcast, the former BBNaija housemate revealed that his main job is simply living life, a statement that has stirred conversations online.

When asked by the host what he does to earn a living, Kiddwaya replied that he ‘lives life for a living,’ explaining that being the son of a rich man isn’t as easy as many might think.

According to him, the lifestyle comes with its own kind of stress, from deciding where to go to what to do, and not everyone can handle the pressure that comes with wealth and fame.

Kiddwaya added that despite his family’s influence and riches, he has managed to stay away from scandals, maintaining his integrity in the public eye.

“I live life for a living. Do you know how hard it is to live life as a rich man’s son? Like, where to go, what club to go to. It’s difficult. I do that every year from January to January. So when people ask me, I say I live my life. I work hard to maintain my integrity. People can’t handle the amount of wealth and fame that comes from my family,” he said confidently.” He said

“I can’t wear the same clothes twice” – Bella Shmurda opens up on the pressures of fame

Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed that his celebrity status prevents him from repeating outfits he has already worn in public.

Speaking during an interview on Naija FM 102.7, the ‘Cash App’ crooner said that being a public figure comes with lifestyle expectations that often dictate his wardrobe choices.

“As an artist, as a popular figure, you know say this cloth wey I don wear like this, I no fit wear am again,” He said.

The singer’s comment drew reactions online, with many fans weighing in on the pressures that accompany fame and public image in the entertainment industry.

During the same interview, Bella Shmurda also addressed criticisms that Nigerian artists charge high performance fees, explaining that producing music is a costly process.

“Making an album alone, just paying producers and everyone I worked with, is about $100,000. Then I still have to shoot music videos, promote songs on the radio, TV, and online platforms. That’s a lot. If I go for a show and I don’t charge something beneficial to me in the long run or at least covers my cost of production, it’s not worth it. We’re not overcharging,” Bella explained.

Below are some of the comments;

“That’s on you, my guy. Cloth wey I buy with my money make I no wear am twice cause of wetin stranger go talk eh.”

“You can wear it twice, but you can’t snap with the same cloth twice.”

That’s a self-imposed limitation. Nobody really sends anyone the way y’all make it look.

“The Holy Spirit healed me completely” – Tonto Dikeh opens up about deliverance from angǝr, pa!n, and past strugglǝs

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared an emotional testimony on her journey to healing, revealing seven areas of her life that the Holy Spirit transformed.

In a post on Instagram titled “7 Things the Holy Spirit Healed Me From,” the mother of one reflected on her past battles with anger, pain, and depression, describing how faith helped her overcome deep emotional wounds.

The actress recounted her struggles with pain and depression, revealing that she once attempted suicide before finding hope in God’s mercy.

Tonto also opened up about her spiritual journey, saying she reconnected with God after years of taking His love for granted.

She described her renewed walk with El-Roi (The God Who Sees Me) as the most fulfilling experience of her life.

Another striking revelation was her decision to embrace celibacy after being delivered from sexual immorality.

The actress also celebrated divine restoration in her personal life, revealing that God reunited her with her sister after 45 years apart, an experience she described as a true testament to God’s mercy.

Tonto concluded by reflecting on peace, unmerited favor, and the importance of protecting her inner calm.

A part of her write-up read;

“Jesus healed me from a rage that once ruled my life. I destroyed relationships, opportunities, and peace without a second thought. My anger was not power; it was pain disguised as control. But one day, I broke down and cried out like a child. He didn’t condemn me. He covered me with mercy and healed me completely. Depression was my closest companion, and I attempted suicide. But God said, Child, get up. And I did. Weak, trembling, but alive. Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life. It is not suppression; it is strength. I trained my heart to be disgusted by intimacy without love.”

“You’re in the poverty capital of the world, yet dreaming of marriage” – X user sl@ms hallelujah challenge participants

A viral post on X (Twitter) has stirred reactions after a user criticized participants of the ‘Hallelujah Challenge’ for showing up to the prayer session in wedding gowns.

In the post, the user condemned the instruction reportedly given by the convener of the faith-based movement, who asked worshippers to “dress like their miracles.”

According to the critic, most of the women in attendance chose to wear bridal outfits, symbolizing their desire for marriage.

The user further expressed frustration, describing the participants as self-centered and disconnected from Nigeria’s socio-economic struggles.

“The leader of Hallelujah Challenge told his disciples to dress like their miracles, and most ladies were putting on wedding gowns. You’re living in Nigeria, the poverty capital of the world, where most youths are broke and jobless, and your biggest problem is marriage? Nobody with his or her right senses should be thinking of marriage without a stable source of income. Do they want to get married to jobless men? The most annoying thing about all these Hallelujah challengers is they do not even seek the collective good of Nigeria. They just want to be amongst the few who live well, to prove that they are different and their ‘god’ is good to them alone. Delusional individuals. He wrote

The tweet has since gone viral, with social media users weighing in with their opinions. While some users agreed that many Nigerians prioritize personal desires over national progress, others defended the participants, insisting that faith-based expressions should not be mocked.

The Hallelujah Challenge, a virtual midnight praise and worship session led by gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey, has become a popular movement among Christians seeking spiritual breakthroughs.

“We can’t find her” – Kemi Olunloyo Allǝges Regina Daniels has been missing for days

Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has sparked concern on social media after alleging that a popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has been unreachable for several days.

During a recent live session, Olunloyo claimed she had spoken with Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko, and he hinted that the situation behind the scenes was more serious than what the public was seeing online.

Adding that the actress had refused to seek rehabilitation despite ongoing concerns about her well-being.

Kemi Olunloyo further claimed that Regina Daniels has not been in contact with her children for days.

“I’ve spoken to Ned today, and I’m reading his chat right here. What is happening with Regina on social media is only a fraction of what’s actually going on. I want to make sure you guys are educated because I’m only interested. She doesn’t think she has a drug problem, and that’s where the problem starts. That was how it started with Whitney and many celebrities who are dead today. Once you don’t want to go to rehab…he children can’t find her. It’s been three days now, and they don’t know where she is. They are with the nannies. In America, Regina has already lost temporary custody of her children. Because she has a husband and nannies, they’re probably with them. But she won’t be able to have custody of those children,” She said

Her comments have triggered mixed reactions across social media, with many users contemplating whether to believe her or not, based on her reputation online.

Lady shares shocking encounter with 7-year-old boy on a bus

A Nigerian woman has taken to Facebook to share a disturbing encounter with a 7-year-old boy during a bus ride.

According to her post, she boarded a commercial vehicle with a woman and her two children. She claimed the older child, estimated to be around seven years old, touched her chest shortly after she sat down.

At first, she assumed it was accidental and ignored it, but when it happened again and the boy giggled, she became alarmed.

The woman said the boy’s mother responded casually, saying, “Oh, he loves breast, you know male children and breast are 5 and 6.”

However, the boy did it again, prompting her to hit him hard, and the mother reacted by hitting her to causing her to retaliate.

“Don’t give birth to kids and raise them into monsters in the name of gentle parenting. I kept quiet and targeted him; he did it again, but this time I hit him so hard he screamed in pain. The mother hits me in retaliation and I gave her enough beating to reset both she and the sexual predator she calls a sons head. It’s ok to make excuses for your badly behaved kids but when they try it around a person like Me, I’ll cure your family’s madness.” She wrote

The woman used the experience to criticize what she described as gentle parenting gone wrong, accusing the mother of raising her children without proper discipline or boundaries.

Woman shares how her daughter secretly visited absentee father without her consent

A Nigerian woman has taken to Facebook to share a harrowing experience involving her teenage daughter, who left home without permission earlier this year to visit her absentee father.

According to her detailed account, the incident occurred in January 2025, when her eldest daughter left their home in Abuja without informing anyone of her whereabouts.

Distraught and fearing the worst, the mother reported her missing at a police station and endured two days of sleepless nights, battling thoughts of kidnapping and other dangers.

On the third day, during a follow-up visit to the police station, two female officers suggested she contact the girl’s father.

The mother explained that she had not been in touch with him for years, and his known phone numbers had long been inactive. After persistent efforts, she managed to find a working number through a contact list from 2020.

To her shock, the father revealed that the daughter had just arrived in Lagos, having traveled alone overnight from Abuja, without a phone and under his guidance.

However, instead of taking the girl into his home, the father reportedly dropped her off at a relative’s house and disappeared.

For three months, the mother had no contact with her daughter and only resumed communication in April when the girl began pleading to return home.

Despite her absence, the mother continued to support her daughter remotely, sending supplies through Facebook and Instagram vendors.

Ten months later, the daughter has reportedly still not seen her father again and remains uncertain whether he actually lives in Lagos.

Now in October, the mother says she has decided to bring her daughter back, admitting that despite everything, she remains her child and her responsibility.

The story has sparked conversation online about with the majority stating that the woman did the right thing.

“I’m okay with another man pleasing my wife” – Singer Blaqbonez says as he advocates for open marriage

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has sparked widespread conversation online after openly endorsing the idea of open marriage.

Speaking on a podcast session, the Chocolate City artist shared his unconventional views on fidelity, emotional connection, and the realities of long-term relationships.

According to him, he would be comfortable with his future wife being sexually involved with another man, especially during periods when he is away on tour or focused on work.

The rapper emphasized that for him, emotional connection and loyalty outweigh physical exclusivity in a relationship. He maintained that no other man could easily replicate the unique bond he would have with his partner.

“I don’t mind having an open marriage. Most married couples don’t keep having the same amount of s+x they had at the beginning it naturally reduces. So, if someone else is satisfying her s+xually while I’m out hustling or touring, that’s fine. There’s more to marriage than s+x. I don’t mind her sleeping with someone else as long as she remains dedicated to me. It would be hard for another man to match the emotional connection I’ve built. They might not even make her laugh like I do.” He said

Blaqbonez further revealed that if he ever gets married, he would prefer a setup where he and his wife have separate bedrooms, coming together only when intimacy is desired.

He explained that this arrangement supports personal space while preserving passion and mutual respect.

His remarks have ignited mixed reactions across social media, with some applauding his honesty, others criticizing the approach as a threat to traditional marital values.

X user shares how he shunned a passenger for taking loudspeaker call on the bus

A user on X (Twitter) has shared how he dealt with a fellow bus passenger who was loudly speaking on a phone call using the loudspeaker function.

In a tweet that gained attention, the user explained that the passenger, seated nearby, began having a phone conversation on speaker.

Annoyed by the disruption, he decided to respond in an unexpected way.

He had joined the conversation with full confidence, which left the lady confused, stating that he thought it was a group call when he saw her face.

The woman appeared embarrassed and quickly ended the call, telling the person on the other end, ‘I’ll call you back.’

His tweet read;

“I finally did it: someone was talking on the phone with a loudspeaker sitting close to me while we were inside the bus, so I joined the conversation with full confidence. When she gave me that “are you mad?” look, I said, “Sorry. I thought it was a group call since you put it on the loudspeaker for all of us.” She quietly told the person, “I’ll call you back,” and ended the call immediately.”

The humorous reaction struck a chord with many users online, who praised the poster for boldly addressing a growing nuisance in public spaces.

While some commenters called the move ‘petty but deserved,’ others suggested it might encourage people to be more considerate with phone etiquette in public.

Below are some of the comments;

“Thank you for doing this. I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time.”

“This is on another level, but definitely can’t blame you.”

“They’ll put it on the loudspeaker and be screaming on top of their voices, very annoying set.”

“Both sisterhood and brotherhood and all the hood are super proud of you.”

Kano magistrate court orders viral TikTok duo to marry within 60 days over ‘immoral’ content

A Magistrate Court in Kano has ordered the Hisbah Board to formalize the marriage of two popular TikTok content creators, Idris Mai Wushirya and Basira Yar Guda, within 60 days, following their appearance in viral videos deemed ‘immoral’ by state authorities.

The directive, issued on Monday by Magistrate Halima Wali, stems from a case brought against the duo by the Kano State Films and Video Censorship Board.

The board alleged that the videos, which showed the pair engaging in public displays of affection, contravened the state’s moral and religious codes.

According to reports, the court warned that failure to conclude the marriage within the given timeframe would be considered contempt of court.

The Chairman of the Kano State Films and Video Censorship Board was also directed to oversee and ensure the implementation of the ruling.

The viral content had previously led to the arraignment of both individuals, with Idris Mai Wushirya being remanded in custody at one point.

The authorities accused the pair of producing and sharing content considered sexually suggestive and offensive under the state’s decency laws.

Kano, a predominantly Muslim state in northern Nigeria, operates under Sharia law alongside the country’s secular legal system where religious and moral codes are strictly enforced, particularly in matters involving public behavior, relationships, and media content.

The case has sparked widespread debate online, with many questioning the legal and ethical implications of compelling marriage as a form of punishment for social media activity.

“I have more classic songs than Michael Jackson” – Sir Shina Peters boasts

Nigerian Juju music legend, Sir Shina Peters, has boldly declared that he has produced more timeless hits than the late American pop icon, Michael Jackson.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the Afro-Juju pioneer reflected on his legacy and the significance of creating music that transcends generations.

Sir Shina Peters, whose career has spanned over four decades, emphasized that the true measure of success in the music industry is not fleeting popularity or commercial success.

However, it is the ability to produce evergreen records and songs that remain relevant and cherished over time.

“The only thing you can show for showbiz at the end is how many evergreens you have produced. To my credit, I have four evergreens. Even Michael Jackson has just two: Off The Wall and Thriller. So, if I have four, I am accomplished,” he said.

His comments have stirred reactions among fans and music lovers, with some praising his confidence and legacy, while others debate the comparison with Jackson.

Below are some of the comments;

“An average Gen Z doesn’t know him, but they know Michael Jackson very well.”

“You know, Michael Jackson, did Michael Jackson know you?”

“If dem no ginger you, you what??? Ginger yourself, ride on, Baba Shina Peller.”

Sir, with all due respect, abeg shift…nonsense talk no just vex me abeg..dey your lane abeg..comparing yourself to MJ stop this play abeg.

The Modern Manager’s Nightmare: Why Even Success No Longer Guarantees Job Security

Visit iLOTBET

It used to be simple, win games, keep your job. But today, success has become a moving target. Triumph is no longer a shield against the axe.

The modern football manager now lives in an age where a trophy can buy headlines, but not necessarily time.

Take a glance across Europe and you’ll see the pattern. Coaches who delivered success, genuine, measurable success, are being discarded at an alarming rate.

Even in cases where a manager has done the “impossible,” there’s no guarantee of safety. Winning, it seems, is no longer the only metric. Modern football clubs, flush with billionaire owners, global fanbases, and instant digital feedback, crave something more intangible: control, image, alignment, and perpetual progression.

The Owner Effect

Much of this instability stems from modern ownership models. Billionaire investors and consortiums see clubs less as sporting institutions and more as portfolio assets. Every match becomes a micro-audit of return on investment. Boardrooms now demand sustained upward trajectories, not seasons of transition.

Patience, once a hallmark of football’s great dynasties, think Ferguson’s early struggles at Manchester United or Wenger’s rebuilding years at Arsenal, both in the English Premier League, has been replaced by instant gratification. “Long-term project” has become little more than PR jargon. The manager, once the club’s anchor, is now the most disposable component.

Then there’s the power of perception. In an era where every tactical tweak is dissected in real time, a manager’s public image often matters as much as his results. Lose three in a row, and hashtags calling for your dismissal begin to trend before the post-match interview even ends. Owners, acutely aware of optics, increasingly react to the noise rather than the nuance.

The Impossible Balance

Today’s manager is expected to be part tactician, part psychologist, part diplomat, and part content creator. They must keep their players motivated, their board reassured, and their image spotless, all while winning, immediately. Fail to tick one box, and success elsewhere suddenly doesn’t count.

The profession has evolved into a high-stakes treadmill. The modern manager is constantly sprinting just to stay in place. Job security is a relic, success is temporary, and legacy is often rewritten overnight. The irony? In a sport built on teamwork, no role is lonelier than that of the man on the touchline.

And yet, despite the madness, the carousel keeps turning. There will always be another manager willing to step up, not for security, but for the chance to chase that fleeting, fragile thing called success.

Football’s unpredictability is what makes it thrilling. Visit iLOTBET today to place your bets, explore match insights, and stay connected to the game’s most dramatic stories.

“DJ Cuppy doesn’t like people from her country” – Ryan Taylor says (VIDEO)

British Youtuber Ryan Taylor has stirred controversy with a new claim about his former fiancée, Nigerian DJ, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Ladders Podcast, Taylor said that during their relationship, DJ Cuppy expressed a dislike for her fellow Nigerians and even discouraged him from hiring them.

DJ Cuppy and Ryan Taylor got engaged in November 2022 after a whirlwind romance that often played out in the public eye.

“Is it m@d if I told you that she didn’t like people from her country? She will come into my business and she didn’t want me to have her fellow country people as staff. We used to walk in the mall and people would run from their counters and ask for money.” He said

Tuoyo blasts Regina Daniels’ mum for allowing her to marry as a teen

Reality TV Star Tuoyo has publicly criticized. Regina Daniels mother for allowing the actress to marry at a young age.

In a recent Instagram story, Tuoyo lamented what he described as a lack of parental responsibility in modern times, using Regina Daniels’ early marriage as an example.

Tuoyo expressed concern over parents losing oversight of their children, which contrasts with today’s parenting, with the stricter supervision of previous generations.

“Nowadays, parents mess us up a lot. How will your child travel to another country for like 3 weeks, and you don’t know at all what is your job? Back those days, our parents knew where we at and when we were coming back home, e.g, imagine how Regina’s mum let her go with a man at 17/18 years, a child who didn’t know anything, parents need to be better.” He wrote

The post also appears to be a direct commentary on Regina Daniels’ marriage to Ned Nwoko, which took place when she was still a teenager.

Recall that a viral video has emerged online where the actress made allegations of domestic violence against the senator.

Tuoyo’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that parental guidance is crucial during a child’s formative years.

“You dare not stay out till 5pm in our house, I still fear do do something’s even as an adult in my parent’s house.”

“You can’t be a feminist if you’re broke” – Media Personality Adeife sparks debate with bold statement

Nigerian media personality Adeife has sparked conversations online after making a bold declaration about feminism and financial independence.

In a recent video, Adeife stated that true feminism requires money, not just opinions or online activism.

According to Adeife, many women remain trapped in toxic relationships, unsatisfying jobs, or limiting environments simply because they lack financial freedom.

“Feminism is not just about tweeting or having opinions, it’s about having options, and you don’t have options when you don’t have money. Money is what makes a woman powerful. You can’t be empowered without the means of empowerment, which is money.” She said

She went on to urge women to focus less on online debates and more on building wealth.

Her comments have ignited mixed reactions across social media. While some users hailed her message as a necessary wake-up call, others argued that financial status shouldn’t determine a person’s right to identify as a feminist.

Below are some of the reactions;

Feminism is about equality, not your bank balance. You don’t need money to know your worth.

“You don’t need money to be a Feminist, but you need money as a Feminist. Many feminist movements aim to address economic inequality through promoting equal pay, opportunities, and financial decision-making power for women.”

“Feminism isn’t about money, it’s about equality. You don’t have to be rich to believe women deserve respect and fair treatment. Financial independence only amplifies your voice, not your worth. Na only Nigeria una dey change the narrative of feminism.”

Says a girlie’s girl that always exploits other girls…It’s sad that an average Naija girl wants to belong rather than hold people accountable. I de come…I go respond.
