It appears Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan has changed her view on Grammy award winner, Burna Boy’s music.

Only a few months ago, the controversial rapper stated that her colleague, Burna Boy, had lost it with his music arrangement.

The German juice crooner, while reacting to Burna’s song featuring super star singer Wizkid, B. d’Or, wrote in part, “Burna Boy is losing it with his music arrangement.” “Wiz Kid was OK but his last four bars were weak. ICYMI.

Well, in a recent post via her Insta-stories, Cynthia Morgan averred that Burnaboy is the biggest artist in Africa for now, until she returns to the music scene.

“To me Burna Boy was the highest artist in Africa when I picked him for simatinya video and I remembered almost losing my record deal with Jude Okoye’s label for standing my ground that it was only burna boy I wanted and no one else.

A Twitter user recounted how one of his clients purchased a 125 million naira duplex for his 19-year-old girlfriend.

The Twitter user, identified as @justkingss, said he was shocked to discover that the client, who was a married man, didn’t buy the property for himself or his wife, but for his teenage girlfriend, who hails from Benin.

The said man gifted the lady the N125m Duplex in Lekki as a birthday present.

Narrating the story, @justkingss wrote,

“I once helped a client secured a N125m Duplex in Lekki. The funny part was that he actually bought it not for himself nor his wife but for his 19yr old Benin (Edo State) girlfriend. He bought it as a birthday gift to her because of p*#sy”.

In related news, a UK-Based Nigerian man has shared how he bought his girlfriend a brand new car, immediately after she was involved in an accident and her previous car got damaged.

Identified on Twitter as @u4uzoma, he revealed his girlfriend is in perfect health condition, as nothing happened to her, but her car was damaged and written off, so he had to buy another.

“I had to cut my Christmas holiday short because my girlfriend was involved in an accident in london, nothing happened to her but her car was damaged and written off. Today I took her to a car dealer to buy her a new one, making a choice was difficult, finally she chose this.” He tweeted.

A serving corps member has proposed to a female colleague at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Ogun state.

A video that found its way to the internet shows the moment the Corps member went on his knees and asked his sweetheart to be his wife, amid cheers from his fellow Corps members.

He slid an engagement ring on her finger to clinch the deal, as she gave a resounding Yes.

One of the four teenagers arrested for killing girlfriend for money ritual in Ogun state has been released

One of the four teenagers accused of killing one Sofiat Kehinde, a girlfriend of one of them for an alleged money ritual, has been released by an Ogun State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Abeokuta.

Recall that the suspects, identified as Balogun Mustaqeem, 20; Majekodunmi Soliudeen, 18; Abdulgafar Lukman, 19; and Waris Oladeinde, 18, were arrested on January 28, 2022 , while they were burning the head of their victim, Sofiat, Majekodunmi’s girlfriend.

The teenagers were then remanded in Oba Correctional Centre in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state after being arraigned on two counts of conspiracy and murder.

However, on Monday, March 14, Chief Magistrate I. O. Abudu discharged 17-year-old Oladeinde on legal advice received from the state Director of Public Prosecutions.

No charge was recorded against Oladeinde in the legal advice and Abudu based his judgment on the investigation by the police, which proved Oladeinde’s innocence.

Further hearing of the charges against the three other teenagers was adjourned till April 22.

On Monday, a Twitter user with the handle @mista_mdee made a tweet dissing Davido and he insinuated that Ifeanyi is Peruzzi’s son.

In the latest series of drama, Ubi Franklin was heard in a leaked audio accusing his baby mama, Sandra Iheuwa’s estranged husband of allegedly being a pedophile.

Ubi was heard saying in the audio that he told Sandra to leave Steve Thompson because he’s a useless man and has the capacity to sleep with her children, but she didn’t listen to him.

The audio was leaked by Sandra Iheuwa’s brother, Dozie and he accused Ubi of gaslighting his sister for stories to sell. He also stated that he can’t be quiet anymore.

Nigerian writer, Solomon Buchi has appealed to controversial singer, Speed Darlington, to stop sexualizing and objectifying women.

Solomon made this appeal while celebrating the singer who turned a new age on Sunday, March 13.

Two young boys were nabbed while trying to park a lady’s urine on the floor at the Evbotubu bus stop in Benin, Edo state.

It was gathered that the unidentified lady had eased herself on one corner of the road, and as she left, the young boys went to the spot and transferred the urine to a small black bag.

Unknown to the boys, some men who were in a car were watching them all the time. The men accosted them and asked why they parked the lady’s urine.

One of them claimed he parked the urine just to smell it and help the lady dispose of it properly.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share what became of a woman who blocked her after she mistakenly transferred N500k to her instead of N50k.

According to the lady, in 2017, she sent money to the woman who was pregnant at the time and was in dire need of financial assistance, out of kindness.

She said she accidentally sent N500k instead of N50k to her, but the pregnant woman blocked her and absconded with the balance of N450k instead of refunding it.

The lady, whose identity wasn’t disclosed, said a week ago – five years after the incident – the said woman contacted her to beg for forgiveness following claims that she placed a curse on her.

According to her, the woman said her two children are dead and she has also been battling a life-threatening illness since she disappeared with her money.

A lady was reportedly denied a well-paying job because she wore a leg chain to the interview.

According to a Twitter user, Josephine, who claimed the incident happened to her friend, the friend didn’t get the job solely because she rocked an anklet to the interview.

“So my friend was denied a well paying Job today because she had a leg chain on ,what has a leg chain got to do with acquiring a job”, she tweeted.

Josephine’s tweet, however, stirred diverse reactions from Nigerians on the micro-blogging platform. While some opined that there was nothing wrong with rocking a leg chain to the interview, others averred that it’s inappropriate for the occasion.

New convert steals video cameras, accessories from church after becoming ‘born again’

A Kenyan man identified as David Wanyonyi Simiyu, has been declared wanted by the police after allegedly stealing two video cameras and their accessories from a church.

Simiyu reportedly gave his life to Christ at Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Zimmerman Parish on Sunday, March 6, and made away with the cameras while the congregation were praying on that same day.

A statement released by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), on Saturday March 12, disclosed that he sold the cameras to some dishonest dealers.

“Two video cameras and their accessories that were stolen from a city-based Church last Sunday as the service was ongoing, have been recovered by detectives,” the statement read.

“The two professional cameras worth close to Sh1Million disappeared from the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) Zimmerman Parish, as the faithful were deep in prayers.

“It is not until the service was over that the church orderlies noticed the cameras were missing, much to the consternation of the congregants and the clergy.

“The Church leadership notified our detectives and sleuths from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau, immediately took up the matter. It didn’t take long for the revered crime busters to unmask the author of the crime.” the statement reads.

Following intensive investigation and forensic analysis, the police traced it to the unscrupulous dealers Simiyu sold them to at Nairobi’s Imenti business hub and recovered it.

The dealers, Joshua Mulei, Douglas Karanja and Stephen Thuo, were arrested after it was discovered that they deal in stolen items. However, Simiyu is still on the run.

It was gathered that the church leadership has pardoned the suspect in accordance with the scriptures and have pledged to welcome him back ‘home’ like the prodigal son.

Husband’s family demands apology from wife’s family before they will bury her after she left her matrimonial home to be with her parents when her health declined

A late woman’s husband’s family has reportedly refused to bury her unless her family comes to apologize for her “behavior” before her death.

According to a Twitter user who shared the shocking story on Twitter, the woman had a brain tumor and the doctor had advised her against getting pregnant again. However, her husband insisted on another child despite knowing it could be dangerous for her health.

Because her husband desired another child, she gave in to his demands and conceived.

The pregnancy made her health worse, and since her husband wouldn’t take care of her, she moved back to her parents’ house.

While at her parent’s home, her husband reportedly sent her things back to her family, saying her wife disrespected him by leaving without permission.

He, however, didn’t send her medical reports, which were needed to continue her treatment.

The woman has now died, and the husband’s family has refused to bury her unless the late woman’s family comes to them to apologize for their daughter’s “actions” before her demise.

Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari’s wife slumped during his trail at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, March 14.

It was gathered that she slumped and fell on the floor while her husband and other defendants were being led out from the court premises by operatives of the National Drug Law and Enforcement Ageny (NDLEA).

This occurred shortly after the trial judge, Emeka Nwite deferred on ruling on the bail application filed by the embattled police officer and other defendants.

The judge deferred ruling on applications filed by Kyari, alongside six other persons facing drug trafficking charges, that they be released on bail pending the determination of the case against them.

Recall that the suspended DCP was arraigned on eight counts bordering on conspiracy, obstruction, dealing in cocaine, and other related offences.

A young Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his incredible transformation one year after taking a conscious decision to quit drugs.

The young man identified as Fuja on the micro-blogging platform shared photos of himself as an addict alongside photos of himself one year after quitting drugs.

Fuja appeared very skinny in the throwback photos, and recent photos of him show he has greatly emaciated and appears more attractive than his former self.

Sharing the photos, the young man urged youths to ‘say no to drugs’.

Nigerian man slumps and dies in Italy after returning from hospital where doctor said nothing was wrong with him

A Nigerian man, identified as Isiokponye Onuodafin, has passed away in Italy after complaining of a headache.

The younger brother of the deceased from Owa-Alizomor Community in Ika Northeast Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Uzoma Onuodafin, said he was called on the phone that his brother was having severe headache.

He was said to have gone to the hospital for checkup where the doctor gave him a clean bill of health, but sadly slumped and died upon returning home.

Speaking with Ika Newspaper, Uzoma described his late brother as a loving, caring and jovial person.

The remains of the deceased has now been buried in Italy. Meanwhile, Friends have taken to social media to mourn his sad demise.

In other news, a 24-year-old man identified as Chukwuka Igbonekwu allegedly took his own life by drinking ‘Sniper Insecticide’ in Asaba, Delta State.
The incident happened on Saturday, March 12, at Dr. Ambrose Okereke street, behind Stephen Keshi Stadium.

According to reports, the young man who was living with his longtime girlfriend, was set to marry another woman on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

According to the chat shared online by @jayythedope on Twitter, the lady gave her boyfriend an ultimatum to buy her the phone and on his failure to do so, she would end the relationship.

When asked if the phone is of more importance to her than their two-year relationship, the young lady boldly said YES.

The distraught man disclosed that he had earlier bought her a bone-straight wig and told her to be patient with him while he pools funds for the iPhone, but she insisted on getting the iPhone 11 by the said date which is her birthday.

He disclosed that he felt pressured by her demands and decided to break off the relationship with her.

Some Nigerian men have taken to Twitter to share stories of how wealthy and influential men tried to snatch their girlfriends despite knowing she had a partner.

The conversation started when Twitter user @Ambrosia_Ijebu took to the micro-blogging platform on Sunday, March 13, to recount how a certain big man sent a note to his girlfriend at a party they attended together, asking to fly her out of the country same night.

“I was once at a public party in Lagos with my babe at the time and a famous Naija big man (who will remain unnamed) sent her a note saying: “I’m heading to New York tonight, plane is waiting. Let’s go”. True story. Yes, she was a hot, tall Igbo babe.” he tweeted.

Other tweeps joined in the conversation and shared their personal experiences of how ‘big men’ tried to ‘collect’ their girlfriends or those of their acquaintances.

A Twitter user stated that a lady’s boss, ex-boyfriend, landlord or bestie, has higher chances of snatching her away from her partner.

Billionaire businessman, Jowizaza’s alleged ex-girlfriend, Sophia Egbueje, has reacted after being described as the ‘highest paid escort in Nigeria’.

The well-travelled socialite was given the ‘tag’ after photos of the billionaire and his alleged new girlfriend was shared online.

Jowizaza had attended an event organized by the governor of Anambra state, Charles Soludo, with his alleged new beau over the weekend and photos from the event went viral online. They were spotted sitting side by side and leaving the event together.

The photos stirred reactions from netizens and some seemingly attacked his alleged ex-lover, Sophia, describing her as the highest paid prostitute in Nigeria.

Reacting, Sophia took to Snapchat to tell her ‘haters’ not to confuse living a soft life for being a prostitute.

She wrote,

“Highest paid escort in Nigeria.
Some of y’all females can be so hateful. Maybe try not settling for less in a relationship so you can relate and not confuse living a soft life for being an escort.”
