Nigerian man shares photos of himself eating roasted frog meat, claims it cures impotence
A Nigerian man, identified as Baptist Amah, has taken to Facebook to share some of the purported health benefits of eating frog meat.
The chef based in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom, shared photos of himself gleefully eating native rice with roasted frog and tilapia fish beside a river, and stated that he recreated a meal that the older generation used to eat.
He also claimed that eating frog meat has so many benefits including treating impotence in men, stroke, cancer, heart problem, asthma, and so on.
Amah who is known for posting food pictures on his Facebook blog wrote,

Popular Kannywood actress, Fati Usman, better known as Fati Slow (or Fati Slow-Motion), has said that she is tired of being asked when she will settle down.
In a recent interview with BBC Hausa, Fati noted that while she feels death and marriage are all about one’s destiny, she still believes God has not forgotten her.
“The question which I’m most tired of, and which people often use against me, is when I’m getting married. And I’ve always thought that death and marriage are all about one’s destiny. I believe that God hasn’t forgotten about me. If God wills that I’ll get married, I will. And if He wills that I’ll return to him unmarried, nobody can marry me off. That’s how God works.” she said.
Speaking on claims of calling Sarkin Waka an adulterer on a video call (in reaction to the singer’s claim of filmmakers demanding sex from female actresses before allocating roles for them), she said she regretted the allegations and sought for forgiveness.
“I said two unfair things about him (Naziru) that later disturbed me so much that I couldn’t sleep that night”. She said.

Popular Nigerian singer, Inetimi Timaya Odon, better known as Timaya, has been arrested after he was accused of almost killing a lady with his car.
It was earlier reported that a lad took to social media to accuse Timaya of hitting her sister with his car in Ikate area of Lagos state, and fleeing the scene.
According to @whyte_26 on Instagram, the ‘Outside’ hitmaker allegedly bashed her sister’s car and when she alighted from her vehicle to confront him, he intentionally ran her over and fled.
She also share screenshots of her messages to Timaya on Instagram following the incident and added that Timaya blocked her on the platform when she confronted him. ICYMI.
Rather than confirming or denying the allegation, he continued tweeting like nothing happened, and this stirred reactions from netizens.

“It is a case of murder and suicide” – Police says married man found dead in car killed girlfriend, then wrote note to wife before committing suicide
The Nigerian Police Force has reacted to the case of a couple who reportedly died while having sex in a car along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
It was earlier reported that the lifeless body of the couple were found inside the car on Wednesday, March 2. Watch the video here
The Police have now identified the man as a married Ogun contractor named Hakeem Oladimeji, who killed his girlfriend before committing suicide in his car.
It was gathered that he struck his girlfriend’s head with a stick during an argument at the apartment he rented for her in Bariga, Lagos, on Monday Feb. 28, then carried her corpse in his car to his house in Ogun state where he dropped a suicide note for his wife.
He then drove himself and his deceased girlfriend to a location close to NASFAT Islamic Centre along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, where he committed suicide by ingesting insecticide.
It is said that they had been there for days before the stench oozing from the car caught the attention of locals.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the incident on Wednesday, March 2.
Speaking with DailyPost, Oyeyemi said,
“The two did not die while having sex. What happened was that the girl in question happened to be a girlfriend to that man. He rented an apartment for her somewhere in Lagos. He went there to visit her. We don’t know what transpired between them, but we learnt he hit the woman on the head and she slumped.
“He carried the lifeless body of the woman in his vehicle. People in that neighbourhood ran to Ilaje police station in Bariga to report. But he drove off, straight to his house at Orimerunmu. He dropped a suicide note, informing his wife that he had killed somebody. He told his wife not to bother looking for him, asking her to take care of the children. Then he left the house.
“He drove and parked near NASFAT area and he committed suicide there. We saw a container of Sniper in the vehicle, which suggested that he drank Sniper (an insecticide). He wound up the glasses and died in the vehicle.
“So, it is a case of murder and suicide.”
Househelp who filmed herself defiling 4-year-old boy and sent video to child p0rnography ring sentenced to life imprisonment
Edda Wakesho, a 21-year-old Kenyan woman who filmed herself defiling a 4-year-old boy and posted it online, has been sentenced to life in prison.
The 21-year-old, who was a house help in Kiembeni Estate, Mombasa, filmed herself engaging in the act with a minor and later shared it on a pornographic site to make money.
She was slammed with a life sentence for defiling the boy and a further 10 years for filming the act on Wednesday, March 2, by the Senior Resident Magistrate Florence Macharia.
According to the investigating officer, the accused is part of a child pornography syndicate that collaborates with a rogue house to abuse children and film the acts.
The woman, in her defence, said that she innocently accepted a friend request from Facebook and was introduced to a page where people post nude photos and videos. She said that she was recruited into the syndicate with the promise of being paid lots of money.
The minor’s mother got a video recording of the heinous deed via a foreign cellphone number, according to the court.

Young man fights armed police officers who allegedly tried to extort him despite having complete car papers in Lagos (video)
A young Nigerian man recently confronted some armed police officers for allegedly trying to extort him in the Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos state.
A Video from the scene is currently making the rounds online, showing the moment the argument got heated and they got physical.
As the police attempted to take the man’s phone, things became violent. As a result, he pushed one of the armed police officers down.
The young man, who was riding with a lady at the time of the incident, accused the police of trying to extort him after checking his car papers and finding no fault.

Apparently, the driver did no wrong but the Police Officer decided to use force to gain entrance into his car.

Legendary Nigerian singer, 2Baba, has reacted after his fans expressed displeasure over the way his name appeared on the poster for a show set to take place in Las Vegas later in the year.
Self-styled African giant, Burna Boy, who is headlining the show had his name appear in bold font while he (2Baba) and other Nigerian artists billed to perform at the show at had their names at the bottom of the poster.
The poster stirred reactions from fans of 2Baba, with many of them noting that their favorite shouldn’t be playing second fiddle to Burna Boy. They queried why the legendary singer was placed with other artists in smaller font at the bottom while Burna Boy’s name stood out on the poster.

FG gives permission to extradite DCP Abba Kyari to U.S
The Federal Government has approved the request by the United States of America, for embattled Commander of the Police Intelligence Response Team, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari, to be extradited over the $1.1million wire fr@ud perpetrated by Abass Ramon aka Hushpuppi and 4 others
This was made known by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) on Thursday when he filed an application before the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja for Kyari’s extradition.
The application marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/249/2022 was filed under the Extradition Act.The AGF said the application followed a request by the Diplomatic Representative of the U.S. Embassy in Abuja. The request is “for the surrender of Abba Alhaji Kyari, who is a subject in a superseding three counts indictment”
The AGF said he was satisfied that the offence in respect of which Kyari’s surrender is not political nor is it trivial.
In his words ;
Kyari, “if surrendered, will not be prejudiced at his trial and will not be p#nished, detained or restricted in his personal liberty, by reason of his race, nationality or political opinions”. The AGF said having regard to all the circumstances in which the offence was committed, it will not be unjust or oppressive, or be too severe a p#n!shment, to surrender him.
Kyari made news headlines on April 21, 2021 after a jury filed an indictment against the Nigerian police chief with the approval of the U.S. District Court and demanded Kyari stand trial for conspiracy to commit wire fr@ud, money laundering and identity theft. Consequently, the US Embassy requested for Kyari’s extradition.
40-year-old man arrested for defiling his 13-year-old daughter in Kebbi
A Man identified as Aminu Bello, has been arrested by Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, for allegedly raping his 13-year-old daughter, Hafsat in Kebbi state.4
Parading the 40-year-old suspect, the Kebbi state commander Musa Bala disclosed that, the arrest was effected following a tip off from members of the public who reported the incestuous affair “we parade before you a 40-year-old father Aminu Bello who allegedly r@ped his 13-year-old daughter Hafsat in Badariya area Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state.”
The command’s spokesperson, Akeem Adeyemi, said investigation is ongoing on the matter after which the suspect will be arraigned before the court of law.

Two suspected serial pickpockets in Lagos have been apprehended by men of the Lagos State Taskforce.
The suspects identified as, Sodiq Olagoke, 25, and Lucas Patrick, 26 were both arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, March 1.
The Taskforce officers who made the arrest said the suspects, who were roaming the area in their Danfo commercial bus, looked suspicious. The driver and the two male passengers seemed uneasy after driving past the officers.
Confirming the arrest, the Lagos State Taskforce Chairman, CSP Shola Jejeloye, said that the suspects disclosed they make 80,000 Naira daily from their operations, using commercial vehicle (Danfo) as a guise.
In other news, a Taxi driver came out of his car naked to protest after task force officials destroyed his car for allegedly refusing to pay N50 ticket fee.
It was gathered that the incident happened at Marian in Calabar, Cross River state, on Wednesday.
According to viral reports, Taskforce officials stopped the cab driver asking him to pay N50 naira ticket fee, but he refused and they allegedly assaulted him for it.
In the viral video the officials were seen dismantling parts of the car, when the driver came out of the car naked to defend himself.

The Police Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, made this disclosure in a chat with Punch. According to him, the police officer has been identified and summoned to Abuja.
He added that the Force Headquarters has warned its operatives attached to Very Important Persons all over the country to stop serving purposes other than protecting prominent individuals from security threats, and the viral video is now being probed.
“He (the policeman) has been identified. He is coming to Abuja to meet us. We’ll ask question from him and take necessary action. We need to discourage such a thing because it is embarrassing the image of the Force and we can’t continue to be experiencing that kind of a thing because it is highly unprofessional.” He said.
The video which found its way to the internet got people talking on social media.
In the 18-seconds video, a woman presumably of high class is seen receiving greetings from another woman while her security detail (a police officer in uniform) held a plate of food and followed closely behind.
The video elicited reactions from social media users who felt it was disrespectful to the entire police force for the woman to treat the officer like a common ‘houseboy’. Watch video here.

A Nigerian woman was taken aback when she discovered that the female housekeeper she hired to assist with domestic chores in her home was actually a man disguised as a woman.
A video that’s currently making the rounds online captured the moment the young man was confronted. It was gathered that he had worked with the woman for three months without her knowing that he was a man.
In the viral video, the woman is heard saying, “Na God save me!”, while another voice in the background is heard saying that it’s possible the young man disguised himself to carry out an evil act, like adducting the woman’s kids.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Woli Arole has explained why he bowed to greet popular singer, Wizkid after meeting him for the first time.
The comic actor held a comedy show themed ‘Arole Revelation’ at Eko Hotels and Suites over the weekend, and bumped into Wizkid in the parking lot.
Arole was super excited to meet the Grammy Award winner for the first time and couldn’t contain himself at the sight of the singer.
In a video he shared on his Instagram page, he gave the singer a big hug, then lifted him from the ground and bowed down to emphasize his greeting.

Some netizens questioned why he bowed before Wizkid despite being older than him, and he has now responded to his critics in a post shared on Twitter.

Dancer Korra Obidi gives birth to second child at home through water birth on Facebook live (video)
Nigerian professional dancer, Korra Obidi, was live on Facebook as she went into labour of her second child.
The dancer gave birth to her second child at home through water birth with the help of her husband, an American medical doctor, and sports therapist, Dr. Dean Justin.
Korra carried her fans and followers along with the entire process as she was live on Facebook.
Speaking on the procedure, Korra’s husband noted that the process was fast and took two and a half hours. He added that his wife was strong, wasn’t worried and powered through it.
Korra, on the other hand, took to Instagram to share a family photo with their new addition, writing,
“Welcome to the latest addition to the # Deanclan @ athenadean_ family.”It was an unmedicated natural water birth on Live Video Facebook by the amazing @thevitalwoman.
