Nigerian singers, Zinoleesky and Mohbad, were arrested during a raid by men of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Wednesday night, February 23.
The officials of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, stormed an apartment where the Marlian music stars were in the middle of the night.
It was alleged that the NDLEA operatives gained entrance into the house by jumping over the fence. Videos from the raid that found their way to the internet showed the officers placing handcuffs on the singers.
Although it is unclear why Zinoleesky and Mohbad were arrested, this comes after the skit maker, De-General, and two others were arrested for being in possession of marijuana.
Recall that in January, Nigerian skit maker, Joshua Sunday known better as De General was found guilty of drug trafficking: Justice Daniel Osiagor of a Federal High Court in Lagos ruled.
A gay man identified as Ovie Oktogbo, who was arrested by the police in Edo State, has allegedly confessed to def#ling nine boys between age 10 and 15, after he lured them with N200.
The suspect, a 43-year-old father of three, was arrested at his residence in Ugbowo area of Benin, on February 10, 2022, following a complaint by parents of one of the victims.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Kontongs Bello, in a statement said, “Preliminary investigation revealed that the rapist specializes in using N100 to N200 to lure his unsuspecting victims who are children and teenagers between the ages of 10 to 15 years.
He have an unnatural carnal knowledge of them through their anus by applying a bleaching cream on both his manhood and the victims anus.
He however met his waterloo as one of his victim, a 13-year-old boy, fell ill with swollen feet, face and pus all over his body. Medical examination revealed that his liver and kidney is damaged as a result of a certain chemical contained in bleaching creams.
Upon further enquiry by the victim parents, he confessed that a certain man in the area forcibly had carnal knowledge of him, it was in that process that his abuser applied cream in his anus.
The suspect confessed to have defiled nine boys in the area, six of which have already been identified — their parents also made formal complaint to the Commissioner of Police to that effect — while the remaining three are yet to be identified.”
Popular Nigerian Social Commentator, Reno Omokri has opined that the ideal marriage according to God’s judgment, is one where the husband is older than the wife and not vice versa.
According to Reno, marrying an older woman is risky because while a man’s libido can last till he’s 100, it isn’t the same for women and the big question is whether the man will be able to hold himself when the wife ages and her libido drops.

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has bragged about paving the way for other crossdressers.
Taking to Twitter, the internet celebrity said that he’s proud that he did the walking so that other Nigerian crossdressers can fly.
“If there’s one thing am proud of is that I did the walking so that others can fly”, he tweeted.
The tweet didn’t sit well with Nigerians who tackled him. Many tweeps disagreed with Bob, stating that before he started crossdressing, media personality, Denrele Edun was already well known for his style, even when crossdressing was alien to most Nigerians.

A 24-year-old student, identified as Matthew Abraham, has been arrested by the police for trying to break into a tiger enclosure at Boston zoo.
Abraham, a biology major student at Worcester State University, was reportedly spotted by a staff of the zoo in a private outdoor area behind the tiger enclosure around 8.45am on Monday, February 21.
He is said to have climbed multiple fences before getting to that area, but fled when he saw some zoo workers approaching him.
The zoo security launched a search to track him down and after he was found, they ran medical check on him but he had no injuries. They also ran a mental check on him and he was said to be mentally stable, police spokesman David Procopio said.
Speaking on why he took the rash decision to go into the tiger enclosure, Abraham told authorities that he had a keen interest in tigers.
“I was there as a spectator of the zoo. I didn’t mean to harm anybody. I wasn’t looking to harm the tiger.
“I wasn’t looking to harm myself either. My plan was just to go see what is a tiger. How would a tiger react to a human being?”
He added that he planned to stay 20 feet away from the wild animal at all times but wanted to be able to look it in the eyes.
“They say the eye of the tiger is the most dangerous thing you’ll ever see in your whole life. They say that the soul is visible through the eye.”
Following interrogation, he was later charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. However, when he was asked if he would try again, Abraham said, “Go see a tiger? I don’t know. Maybe.”

The Upper Area Court, Zuba, in Abuja, has revoked the bail granted to popular Kanyamata boss, Hauwa Saidu, a.ka Jaruma.
The aphrodisiac expert who’s facing a four-count charge of ”defamation of character, criminal intimidation, injurious falsehood, and publishing falsehood to incite the public to hate against billionaire businessman and actress Regina Daniel’s husband, Ned Nwoko, was granted bail by the presiding judge, Ismail Abdullahi Jibril, on Friday, January 28, 2022.
However, the presiding judge, Barrister Ismail Abdullahi Jibrin, revoked the bail and ordered for her re-arrest after she and her counsel failed to appear in court today and failed to send any representative.
The judge had earlier stood the case down as none of Jaruma’s lawyers showed up in court. A lawyer who was in the court premises had appealed to the judge to be patient as Jaruma and her lawyers might show up later.
After waiting for two hours and they still didn’t show up, the judge in anger revoked her bail and ordered her re-arrest.
The judge ordered that Jaruma should be remanded at the Suleja Correctional Centre, until March 17, 2022, which is the new adjourned date.
The Minister of state for power, Goddy Jedy Agba, has stated that power failures are a thing of the past in Nigeria now.
The minister said this while speaking at a town hall meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, February 22. Agba noted that by the end of the year, 85 percent of the citizens will have access to electricity.
“Power failure is a thing of the past. By the end of the year, 85 percent of Nigerians will have electricity. Also, all the houses will be metered – you will only pay for what you consume.” He said.

According to Sunday World, he was reportedly found dead at his home in the north of Johannesburg on Wednesday morning, February 23.
Reports have it that he committed suicide as he allegedly hung himself with a rope after battling with severe depression.

A student of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Jefferson Ndoma, has stirred reactions after he shared a slideshow of how he transitioned from being a regular male to a crossdresser.

A Nigerian woman, identified as Emilia Phillips, has reportedly died in a tragic house fire alongside her three children.
It was gathered that the sad incident occurred on Monday, February 21, after fire broke out in their Kaduna home at midnight.
The deceased widow, her three children and her niece were reportedly asleep when the fire engulfed their home and burnt them to death.
Her husband, who was identified as Sunday Philip, is said to have slumped and died in August 2021.
Taking to Facebook to mourn the deceased family, an acquittance named Confidence Shammah wrote,

A Nigerian clergyman, Mathew Oladapo, has been arrested by men of Ogun state police command for allegedly raping a 19-year-old member of his church.
It was gathered that Oladapo, the pastor in charge of Life and Power Bible Church Ogijo, allegedly had unlawful carnal knowledge of the church member during a deliverance session at the church.
He told the victim he saw a vision that she is having a spiritual husband which she needs to be delivered of. According to the victim, the pastor told her she will undergo three nights of fasting and prayer in the church for total deliverance. He also asked her to come to the church with 1,000 naira notes and anointing oil.
The victim told the police that on the first night of the fasting and prayer, she was taken to a room within the church where the pastor ordered her to pull off her clothes and undies and lay down on a piece of cloth on the floor which she obeyed. While lying on the floor, the pastor started rubbing the anointing oil on her body and inserted his finger into her private part. When she protested, the pastor pinned her down, covered her mouth and forcefully had sex with her with the claim that it is the only way to break bond between her and the spirit husband.
Oladapo was arrested and detained after the victim lodged a complain against him at the Ogijo Police divisional headquarters. Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime but claimed to have been overwhelmed by a spirit.
The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident said the commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to anti human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.
A UK-based Nigerian woman, Olabisi Ekwueme Ajai, has advised women to stay away from other men if they are getting married.
Olabisi, a women’s liberation and empowerment advocate, gave this advise while reacting to a private message she received from a follower who said she is pregnant for another man barely two months to her wedding.
According to her, the rate at which some first born children are turning out to be illegitimate children of their fathers is ridiculously high.
“The rate of first born children being ‘illegitimate’ children of the husband of the mother is unfairly high in my opinion.
“Dear women, if you are getting married, kindly stay away from other men! Would you want your son to be dealt with thus?”

British model and reality star, Megan Barton Hanson has opined that sex with women is better and more exciting than sex with men.
The former glamour model who came out as bisexual three years ago, shared this opinion in a recent chat with Florence Given on the Exactly podcast.
According to Megan who starred in the fourth edition of Love Island in 2018, she feels more connected with women during sex and she thinks men are boring in bed.
Hanson said;
“The connection, the energy, it’s just different with women and I’ve never had that with a guy.
“As much as I try and drop hints still they are clueless. I feel like a lot of straight sex is just a rush to get to the end and is so boring.
“With guys it’s quite selfish whereas with women it’s about what you can do for the other person and that turns me on more.”
Speaking on which gender she prefers dating, the model said dating women is more exciting because she has more freedom.
She said, “With a girl it’s just so much more exciting and interesting.
“And I have a lot more respect for women. When I’m dating a man I am just waiting for them to f**k up and say something inappropriate or mention my sex work or ask me about sleeping with women.
“With girls it’s just so much more free and exciting.”
Before her stint on the ITV2 dating show, Hanson found dating girls “so hard”.
Since opening up about her sexuality, the reality show star has openly dated different women including footballer Chelcee Grimes and Towie’s Demi Sims.
A Ghanaian lady has claimed that some women now get pregnant and abort the pregnancy after few months to “look good” in their birthday photoshoots or any special occasion.
The lady who was identified as Felicia Sedinam Gardner, made this bizarre allegation when she called into an online program recently and the audio recording has caused quite a stir on social media.
She said;
“Maybe their birthday is in four months or in three months or maybe there is an occassion they want to look extremely good physically, they intentionally take in. They intentionally get pregnant.
Some will wait until the third month, that is the ending of the first trimester and then they would come for healthy abortion. Some of them go for any pills at all which worsens the case. These things have both advantages and disadvantages but the only advantage is that it makes your body really really sumptious, like you would look yummy. Your skin pops, your breast looks heavy, some of them even get the hips to come out a bit. Generally their body grows bigger because of the over production of the estrogen and progesterone.
These two hormones help in the growth of these physical features. When you get pregnant, these hormones increase in production. It helps your boobs to come out, it helps your shape.
Some people when they get to the third month, they would go for safe abortion. After the safe abortion, you would be given an appetite stimulant or appetite booster, maybe some blood tonic that would boost your appetite to make you eat more to maintain that shape for some months.”
Gender equality activist, Solomon Buchi, has come for controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, for disparaging his colleague, James Brown.
Recall that during an Instagram live session last night, Bobrisky, took a swipe at James, who’s currently in the United Kingdom to further his studies.
Reacting to a video of James giving a presentation in his class, Bobrisky claimed no good school in the UK operates during winter. The self-styled billionaire girlfriend stated that he’s wealthy and doesn’t need to go back to school.
Solomon, enraged by Bobrisky’s attitude toward James Brown’s achievement, proceeded to Twitter to lambast him. He requested that Bobrisky leave James alone.

Ultimate Love star, Chris Adah, who is married to fellow reality TV star Chris Obaoye, has stated that their marriage cannot survive infidelity.
Adah stated this in an apparent response to author Reno Omokri’s controversial statement that marriages can survive infidelity, but it is hard for marriages to survive long-term poverty.
In a message to married couples on Monday, February 21, the former presidential aide noted that without money, the love a husband and wife share might die.
According to him, marriages can survive marital infidelity, but it is hard for marriages to survive long term marital poverty. He advised people to be factual and disregard the popular saying that love conquers everything.
In his words,
“Marriages can survive marital infidelity, but it is hard for marriages to survive long term marital poverty. Research it. Finances are the top reason for divorce. So stop saying ‘love conquers everything’. Without money, the love may just dissolve like sugar in tea”.
Reacting to this, Chris Adah, who had a contrary opinion, noted that she and her husband were happy even when they had nothing and were soaking garri, and they survived that phase.
She asserted that her marriage cannot survive infidelity and the day she or her husband cheats, the marriage will be over.
