Nigerian pastor, Ezekiel Atang dies three weeks to his 50th birthday

Ezekiel Atang, the General Overseer of God’s House of Refuge, Uyo, Akwa Ibom, has passed away three weeks to his 50th birthday.

The report of his death was confirmed by popular clergyman and relationship coach, Kingsley Okonkwo, who described him as his “partner in family life mandate”.

Pastor Atang was slated to celebrate his 50th birthday on Monday, March 14th, and had sent out initiations to his friends and family before his untimely death.

The cause of his death was however not disclosed.

In his tribute, Pastor Kingsley wrote on Instagram,

“My brother and my friend, my partner in family life mandate to the body of christ

You left an indelible mark, and unforgettable legacy, you spoke with clarity and conviction, loved by all, we will definitely miss you

It was gathered that the yet-to-be identified lady had posted nude videos of her friend on different social media platforms, in a bid to embarrass her.

However, after she was accosted, she’s seen begging for forgiveness.

In the viral video, a voice is heard saying that the lady is in the habit of recording her female friends when they are unclad, and she would then share the footage on social media.

Ghanaian transgender, Ohemartin, has disclosed that she uses the female restroom whenever she is in public places despite having a male organ.

Speaking in a recent interview on the Delay show, the 22-year-old said she feels she may be violating the male sections of public washrooms if she uses them.

According to her growing up as a male, she naturally possessed feminine qualities.

“I started playing with dolls at the tender age of ten,” she said

Ohemartin who noted that she attends church regularly stressed that she is comfortable with her current outlook and believes that God loves him regardless of being trans.

American singer and songwriter, Keke Wyatt, has announced that she is pregnant with her eleventh child.

Keke made the announcement in a post she shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, February 20, while sharing family pictures with her husband, Zackariah Darring, and their children.

The 39-year-old singer who has re-married three times, had nine children with her first two husbands before getting married to Darring in 2018. The new addition will be her third child with her husband.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, has reacted to a video of his deliverance session at the late TB Joshua’s church that went viral in 2013.

In a recent chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the thespian confirmed he’s the one in the viral video.

He narrated how he came down to the church after they insisted that he must be present before his mother could be healed of her ailment.

Jim Iyke said all he remembered was chuckling before one of the pastors at the Synagogue Church of All Nations approached him. According to him, the pastor did something to him and he didn’t know what happened after that.

Nigerian activist and lawyer, Reno Omokri has called out DSTV for assigning channel 419 to the Nigerian government-owned broadcaster, NTA.

Reno in a post he shared on his Instagram page, asserted that it’s a deliberate attempt to mock and de-market Nigeria and it’s citizens.

According to him, DSTV assigning 419 which is synonymous with fraud to NTA carries a powerful subliminal message about the country.

He further chided the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, and the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation for not taking any action against it.

“I ventured into armed robbery to raise money to pay school fees” – Arrested SS2 student confesses

A 23-year-old man, Abubakar Mohammed, who was arrested for armed robbery in Yola, Adamawa state, has confessed to the crime.

Mohammed, a SS II student of Demsawo Government Secondary School Yola, said he ventured into crime to raise money to pay his school fees.

It was gathered that the suspect broke into the house of one Maryam Jamilu at Wauru Jabbe in Yola South LGA in a broad day light brandishing a knife and threatening to kill her.

He allegedly attacked her on the 11th February, 2022 in her parlor where he robbed her of her mobile phone valued at N68, 000, another phone valued N6000 and the sum of N200 cash.

While Maryam was seeing her visitor off after the said operation, she sighted the suspect and raised an alarm which led to his arrest.

Abubakar Mohammed was arraigned before Yola Magistrate Court I, on one count charge of armed robbery which runs contrary to section 287 of the state penal code law. After the plea of the defendant was taken, the prosecutor, ASP Francis Audu, urged the court to remand the defendant at a correctional center to enable them transmit case file to DPP for legal advice considering the nature of the offence.

In his ruling, the presiding judge, Abdullahi Mohammed Digil, ordered the remand of the defendant and adjourned the matter as prayed by the prosecutor.
