Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has reacted after American rapper, Kanye West bragged about being the richest black man.
The business mogul described himself as the richest black man during an appearance on Hollywood hosted by Jason Lee, while he narrated an encounter with a security guard at his daughter’s school who said he couldn’t go inside.
“Earlier this week, Monday, when I went to go pick my kids up from school, the security stopped me at the gate. So at that point, security was in between me and my children and that’s what was not going to happen. But I didn’t want to argue about it. So I just chilled, took my kids to school, and then took my kids back. I am driving. I bring them back and North was like, ‘I want you to come upstairs and see something. And it’s like, ‘Oh, Daddy can’t come see something. Daddy can’t come inside.’ But that hadn’t been defined.” He said.
“My daughter wanted me to go inside. I was like, I am the richest Black man and North’s father, right, and the security was able to stop me from going into the room with my daughter and that had not been defined. And I am hearing that the new boyfriend is actually in the house that I can’t even go to.
“And that’s where I call my cousins. And my cousin is real opinionated, you know that. And I said, ‘I need you to go and say these two things. Security ain’t going to be in between me and my children, and my children ain’t going to be on TikTok without my permission.” He added.
Reacting to this, in a tweet, billionaire daughter and Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, reminded the rapper that he isn’t the richest black man.
According to her, although she’s a big fan of kanye, he should know that her godfather, Aliko Dangote, is the richest black man and not him.

“My mother asked me to kill my younger brother for money ritual” – Suspected Yahoo boy confesses
The Lagos state police command has arrested a suspected yahoo boy identified as Afeez Olalere for allegedly killing his younger brother for money ritual.
The 32-year-old while being paraded confessed to the crime and claimed his mother asked him to do it.
According to him, his mother encouraged him to kill his younger brother after a herbalist she took him to told them that he has to “sacrifice one life and that person must be a sibling to him”.
He revealed that they gave his 21-year-old brother poison, and he died after 20 minutes of drinking it.
Speaking further, he said that they removed the body parts they needed while his remains were wrapped and taken to the mortuary.
“My mother took me to an herbalist who told me if I want to be successful in the yahoo business, I will have to sacrifice one life and that person must be a sibling to me.
“The things he would need to prepare a concoction with are his thumbs, his hair, fingers and a passport photograph. So, we went back home and thought about it, then my mother suggested that we use my younger brother since he is just 21 years old.
“She also brought the poison which we gave him to eat. He died within 20minutes after consuming the food. I was the one who cut out the body parts needed. We then wrapped his dead body and headed to the mortuary.” He said.
Olalere was arrested during a stop-and-search operation along Itamaga, Ikorodu Road, Lagos State.

Nigerian male Barbie, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has hinted on his plans to undergo another cosmetic surgery.
The crossdresser made this known via his official Snapchat handle while lamenting the transition of his body following a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery (BBL) last year.
According to him, there’s a build up of fat on his face as a result of the butt lift surgery, so he plans to take it out through a face lift and buccal fat remover surgery.

A lady whose age was given as 22, apparently won a fully funded scholarship abroad for her Msc.

Nollywood Actor, Imeh Okon, has bemoaned the current rate at which young boys believe in Money Rituals and he called on Nigerians to pay attention to the upbringing of the boy-child in order to put an end to to the diabolic attitude.
According to the actor, a long time ago, people who were alleged ritualists were very old men, however that has now changed because young yahoo boys are fast becoming the leading age group in the ritualists’ game.

Banker allegedly commits suicide in Delta a day after posting “I no longer have a mind of my own because I do things I later regret” on Facebook
A sad report from Delta State has it that a Banker has allegedly taken his own life.
Nwokorie Nnamdi Godson, who until his death, worked as a staff of a new generation bank, hanged himself in Sapele, Delta State on January 16.
A day before he took his own life, Nnamdi had left what turned out to be his suicide note on Facebook in which he talked about struggle with his mind.
His words read ;
“I no longer have a mind of my own. Cos I now do things I later regret. The struggle is not funny any more. I am still good at heart so u know.”

Obi Cubana offers Lagos hawker university scholarship, employment
Nigerian Businessman and socialite, Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana has melted hearts on social media after he offered a roadside-hawker in Lagos employment and a university scholarship.
The Hawker is the same man in the viral video that was seen sharing money to inmates and he has now been rewarded for his kind heart.
Disclosing this in an Instagram live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, Obi Cubana said: “I am offering him a lifetime opportunity, he has to go to school I think that is his ambition.

UNIPORT student allegedly lands in police net after his girlfriend died in his house
An alleged University of Port Harcourt student has reportedly been arrested by the police after his girlfriend died in his room.
According to a Twitter user @TheBriDen who shared the story on the micro-blogging platform, the lady who had gone to her boyfriend’s house to pass the night died in her sleep.
@TheBriDen claimed the young man is still in police custody as his family cannot afford to pay for an autopsy to be carried out on the body of the lady.
“Heard the sad story of a Uniport student currently in police custody because his girlfriend, another Uniport student, died in her sleep in his house after a brief illness. A simple autopsy would show that he is innocent but the family cannot afford one.” His tweet read.
In related news, a 300–level Mathematics Education female student of the Federal University of Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State, identified as one Faderera Oloyede has been discovered dead in an apartment belonging to her boyfriend, Ayo Maliki, in Osun State.
Faderera was found inside her boyfriend’s room at Koko, Iree, Osun State. She was said to have gone to her boyfriend’s place in company with her friend identified as one Kemisola Adewusi, a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
According to reports surrounding her demise, her boyfriend had prepared rice for his visitors and while eating the food, the deceased suddenly developed stomach ache and started vomiting.
She, however, died shortly afterwards after efforts to save her life yielded no result. “They tried to save her life but she died after complaining of stomach ache,” one source said.

Nigerian businessman reveals why he bought his wife a car
A Nigerian businessman, identified simply as Olatunbosun, has revealed the real reason why he bought his wife a car.
In a post he shared on Twitter, the travel consultant disclosed that he encouraged his wife to take driving lessons and get her driver’s license.
According to him, he also bought her a new car presumably out of love, but the real reason he got her the car was because he was tired of going to the supermarket.
It is believed that the Cyprus-based businessman was tired of running errands for their home and thought it best to get his wife her own car.

Female pant recovered as police arrests suspected cultists in Delta (photos)
The Delta State Police Command has apprehended twenty suspected cultists at a black spot in Ogarafe, Oghara in Ethiope west LGA of the state.
The Delta state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, who confirmed the arrest to newsmen, revealed the suspects were arrested by policemen attached to the raiders unit of the command.
DSP Edafe Bright, further revealed that one used female pant, a fabricated wooden gun, six hundred and forty-eight wraps of weed suspected to be Indian hemp, charms, Sixteen bottles of codeine, ten packs of razlers, one Grinder used in grinding weeds and the sum of sixty-nine thousand (#69,000) were recovered from the suspects.
He added that the suspects will be arraigned in court soon.
In related news, the Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested two suspected cultists and recovered firearms.
Spokesperson for the command, DSP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the arrest on Friday, said the suspects were nabbed during a Stop and Search Operations embarked on by operatives in Yenagoa metropolis.
61-year-old grandma planning surrogate pregnancy with her 24-year-old husband
61-year-old American grandmother, Cheryl McGregor, who recently tied the knot with her 24-year-old man, Quran McCain, has revealed they are planning on having a baby through surrogacy.
According to her, they decided to opt for a surrogate pregnancy after attempts to conceive naturally were unsuccessful.
“We prefer surrogacy, however, we have seen a lot of people embroiled in legal complications far after the child is born, We are looking for a nice surrogate who is willing to sign a contract to have nothing to do with the child after it’s born. We don’t want people trying to have a baby for us for financial gain, we are not that financially inclined ourselves. With adoption, we are looking for a biracial baby so the baby would know, ‘I have half black and half white parents”, the husband, Quran McCain said.
Cheryl has seven children and 17 grandchildren already, but she and her 24-year-old husband said they feel they deserve to have children of their own.
Cheryl’s daughters were initially considered to carry the couple’s baby, but both have had hysterectomies so were unsuitable.
Due to her age, Cheryl noted that she might not be there for their children for long, but she has faith in her husband to raise them well.

“Your friend is lazy” – Samklef, others, tell Twitter user whose friend is planning to move back to Nigeria after 2 years in Canada due to the ‘hardship’ abroad
A Nigerian Twitter user recently took to the platform to narrate how his friend, who relocated abroad two years ago, is moving back to Nigeria because of hardship.
According to the Twitter user, @Tweetoracle, the friend left his job where he was earning N350K per month in Nigeria for a greener pasture abroad, but things haven’t been going as planned.
He said his friend who regrets relocating to Canada is now planning to move back to Nigeria for a fresh start.

“Na true” – Singer, Olakira confirms viral Mummy G.O is his sister
Popular Nigerian singer, Olakira, has seemingly confirmed that controversial preacher, Funmilayo Adebayo aka Mummy GO, is his sister.
Viral reports had alleged that the ‘Maserati’ crooner is somehow related to the evangelist and founder of Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church of God.
A fan then took to twitter to ask that the singer confirms or debunk the repots serving rounds online.
“Na true say mummy G.O na ur sis???” The fan asked Olakira.
Responding to the fan’s question, Olakira noted that Mummy G.O is his sister. “Yes she’s my sister and na heaven I dey go”, he wrote.

A young Nigerian man has taken to Facebook to apologize to his ex-girlfriend and plead for them to come back together.
The man identified as, Lubem Terkula, from Benue State shared a photo of his estranged lover, Orbunde Member Joyce, and in a lengthy post noted that he misses her and begged for a second chance.
Terkula, who blamed close friends for their split, said they broke up over a trivial issue. According to him, Orbunde Member Joyce was the best thing that happened to him, hence the reason he hasn’t been able to get over her.
“My Close friends are the reason for my break up, am missing Orbunde Member Joyce but don’t know how to approach her after all Plssss advice me on how to have her back. We broke up over a reason so unreasonable, and I have not been able to get over her. She was the best thing that happened to me back then when I was still growing up in this relationship thingy. She was as energetic as I was, always pushing me, always criticizing, very objective, beautiful and classy, very friendly at the same time. She gets so moody sometimes and it makes her so adorable and lovable. Yet we still broke up.
I met her after she broke up with her former boyfriend. She was extremely difficult at first, making sure she did not fail in passing the message as to how much she disliked guys. However, there was something about MJ, I really liked, her beauty, the flash of her eyes, the laughter, her deep throated voice, open teeth. I just fell in love with everything. We met, talked for sometime, and then after about three months of getting to know each other, she agreed to go out with me. After service months and into the real world.
We had our issues, yes and we thought we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. 6 months into the relationship, we started getting uncomfortable with each other. She wanted more, I wanted more. She craved more loving and attention, It got so bad that I was simply carried away and over ambitious that I forgot I had a girlfriend, the way I talk to her sometimes in public also was not welcoming at all and I don’t know whether she have found solace in the arms of another boy. Life! We allowed it to degenerate so bad that we broke up exactly a five months to the dated we started dating.
Till today, I still ask myself, why did we even break up? It sounded foolish on our path and I couldn’t muster enough courage to ask her why. We had huge dreams and wanted to be better. She was everything I wanted but then, I lubem Terkula messed up!” He wrote.

Fast rising Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has revealed that he has two sons from different mothers.
The “Zazu Zeh” crooner made this disclosure in a recent interview with Jahbless Original Intelligence, where he spoke about his personal life and rise to stardom.
When the singer was asked if had children, he replied in the affirmative and revealed he has two sons from different mothers. He, however, didn’t give details of their whereabout.
“I have two boys, strong mafians.” He said.
Speaking further, he stated that he has a girlfriend he really loves and wants to marry but she is now “misbehaving” because of his new “glory”.
He added that he now has many girlfriends professing love for him since he came into limelight.

Popular Nigerian singer and song-writer, Tiwa Savage, has taken to Snapchat to lament over the stress involved in making money.
Sharing a photo of herself in bed on Thursday, January 13, the mum of one who seemed exhausted, disclosed that she had one more meeting to attend before retiring for the day.
She bemoaned the stress of looking for money and wondered why her father is not the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote.
Tiwa Savage who lost her dad in July 2021 wrote,
“I have one more meeting. It’s not easy looking for money o. God help me, but why my papa no be Dangote or something like that (may his soul Rest in Peace though”.

The 41-year-old singer, who performed at an event on the beach on Sunday, January 9th, shared this experience on her Instagram story.
According to Tiwa, on that fateful day, she ‘mistakenly’ went to the beach without security escorts and took small amount of money along.
