Popular crossdresser, James Brown, has taken to social media to share new photos of himself in London and it has gotten people talking online.

In a post he shared on his Instagram page, the controversial influencer who recently travelled to the United Kingdom, London, shared photos of himself at a train station posing with a baby stroller.

In the caption, he re-introduced himself to his over 800k followers and stated that he is a leader who sets trends for others to follow.

Denrele pays emotional tribute to late singer Goldie as he visits her graveside 9 years after her death

Popular media personality, Denrele Edun, has paid a visit to the graveside of his late friend and singer, Oluwabimpe Susan Harvey popularly known as Goldie.

It can be recalled that Goldie, who was a professional singer and Big Brother Africa star, passed away on February 14, 2013, at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Nine years after her death, Denrele took to his Instagram page to pay an emotional tribute to her and shared photos from his visit to her graveside.

He wrote,

Abuja beggar detained after she was caught with N500,000 and $100 cash

Hadiza Ibrahim, a female beggar, has been arrested after the sum of N500,000 and $100 were found in her possession in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory Administration, Social and Development Secretariat, Shaka Sunday, who confirmed the development to Punch, said that the woman was in the agency’s custody at the Bwari area council.

According to him, Hadiza had yet to explain how she came by the money found on her.

“We caught the woman with $100 and N500,000. The lady is still in our centre in Bwari. She is undergoing profiling because she has not been able to give us all the relevant information and how she came about the money.” He said.

Meanwhile, actress, Chita Agwu Johnson, has asked people to stop encouraging ‘those terrorists in traffic claiming to be beggars’.

Chita likened these ‘beggars’ to ‘criminals’ and her reason for that is because of the fact that they foam the driver’s window side when the driver refuses to give them money.

A man has broken up with his girlfriend for sending him a Valentine message she allegedly copied online, instead of composing an original piece.

Screenshots of the WhatsApp conversation between the said man and his girlfriend is currently making rounds online.

In the chat, the lady sent him a message to celebrate him on Valentine’s Day, however when he responded, she wasn’t satisfied with his response and queried him for not adding love emojis to it.

In response, the man hit back at her for using only two emojis in her own Valentine message, which made her question why he was “acting up” on a day meant to be for lovers to celebrate their love.

The guy then fired back at her and called her out for allegedly copying the Valentine message she sent to him online. He added that he has always complained about her not being brilliant and she has now confirmed it by her action.

After going back and forth over the issue, the man disclosed that he was done with the relationship and seemingly blocked her on WhatsApp.

Gift Ohanezeze, the bereaved mother of the 19-month-old pupil who died after he was mercilessly beaten by his teacher in Delta, has cried out for justice.

The single mother said the incident happened only three weeks after she registered her baby at the school in Delta. She claimed that her late son, Obinna, was flogged 31 times by Emeka, son of the proprietress of the school, and two other teachers.

Speaking to newsmen amidst tears, she said that she met the school proprietress on Monday, February 7, the same day her son was flogged and was told that her son had committed a grievous offence.

As I was making noise creating a scene for the teacher to come out, pupils from the class came out and told me that ‘our big mummy and uncle, and one aunty tied Obinna with white hanky hand and leg, and was flogging him like a goat.’ I now say who is big mummy, they pointed at the proprietress. I met her and she didn’t deny it, she said Obinna is stubborn, that was why. And I said who held him by the hand and leg, the son came out, looked into my face and he was the one. My younger brother said he should come out, and he slapped my brother,” she said.

A Nigerian man’s two girlfriends reportedly got physical during a fight at a mall in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, on Valentine’s Day.

It was gathered that the fight ensued after the side chic and the main girlfriend coincidentally ran into each other at the mall. In a now viral video, the ladies were seen exchanging blows and pulling each other’s clothes. It took the intervention of onlookers at the scene to break up the fight.

Precious Chikwendu, former beauty queen and estranged wife of ex-Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, was reportedly arraigned at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday, February 14.

She was arraigned before Justice Inyang Ekwo over an allegation of attempting to kill her husband with a kitchen knife on November 24, 2018.

The case marked FHCABJ/CR/1/2022 was filed against her and three others by the Commissioner of Police. The other defendants includes Emmanuel Anakan, Prisca Chikwendu and Osakwe Azubuike.

In the 13-count charge filed on January 7, they were accused of committing offenses bordering on cybercrime, intimidation to kill FFK by use of internet, threat to kill one Lauretta in a bid for her to quit her relationship with the politician.

They were also accused of fabricating false evidence to frame FFK for physically and sexually assaulting members of his domestic staff, by causing the claims to be electronically published in a national daily.

Also, Precious, a mum of four, was accused of using her Facebook page on December 7, 2021 to refer to Fani-Kayode as “Mr Short Fuse”. She was also alleged to have falsely accused him of being “sexually incapacitated and that he is not the biological father of the four children she had for him as a wife.”

However, they all pleaded not guilty to all the 13-count charge which are said to be punishable under Section 392 of the Penal Code among others.

The prosecuting counsel, John Ijagbemi, requested for a date to begin trial, and the presiding judge, Justice Ekwo, fixed April 27, 28 and 29, for it.

Meanwhile, Precious’ lawyer, Alex Ejesieme, SAN, has urged the court to grant the defendants bail on already existing administrative bail granted to them by the police.

A Nigerian man has come under heavy fire on social media after he was exposed for allegedly lying to get a car for his disabled teacher.

The man, a comedian identified as Sir Law, took to Twitter to share a photo of a car and a box of money and claimed he had saved up for a year to buy the car as an appreciation gift for a teacher who taught him in primary school.

“Last year I found out that my primary school teacher has been on wheelchair for 8years. Well I saved for a year and I’m gifting him this for #ValentinesDay.” He captioned the photo of the car.

Reacting to the tweet, tweeps trooped to the comment to laud him for the supposed act of kindness.

However, moments later, a friend of the real owner of the car called him out and told him the car and box of money were a gift given to her friend by her husband in January.

Nigerian man and pregnant wife die in ghastly motor accident, 3-year-old son survives

A ghastly motor accident along the Suleja road on Sunday, February 13, claimed the lives of a Nigerian man and his pregnant wife, while their 3-year-old son miraculously survived.

It was learnt that the couple, identified as Mr. and Mrs. Mohammad Bagudu Abdulrahman, were in the car with their son, Amir, when their car rammed into a truck, leaving it completely shattered. The man and his wife died on the spot.

One Comr. Lanre Sadiq, in a Facebook post, said the little boy is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

“WHAT GOD CAN’T DO? Amir the survived son of late Mr and Mrs Mohammad Bagudu Abdulrahman that passed on early hours today in a fatal motor accident along Suleja road finally survived.

“He was earlier reported dead but the good news is, Amir survived while the parents gone in an accident that occurred early hours of today. What a life!

“The 3 years old miracle boy is currently receiving treatments. Let’s pray for this innocent boy to survive this tragedy. The father, Malam Abdulrahman Bagudu, the pregnant wife gone forever….. What a life.

Teenager arrested after abducting 4 year-old girl and demanding N70,000 ransom in Katsina

The police command in Katsina state have apprehended a 16-year-old JSS 3 student, identified as Abubakar Abdulbashir, who allegedly kidnapped his four-year-old cousin and left her in an uncompleted building in Marabar Kankara town in Malumfashi LGA of the state.

According to a report by the police, a woman who was aware of the disappearance of the four year old girl, was passing by the uncompleted building in the area, when she spotted the missing girl in the company of Abdulbasir.

A report by Vanguard revealed that the woman quizzed Abdulbasir on what he was doing with the little girl and he responded that they were just chattin but she could take him home if she wanted.

On taking the girl home and narrating the encounter to her parents, the father immediately reported the case at the Malumfashi Police Station and Abdulbasir’s father was invited for questioning concerning the whereabouts of his son, who was then at large.

Abdulbasir who later returned to the house was informed by his mother that his father was invited by the police and is being questioned over his whereabouts. Abdulbasir then decided to turn himself in and confessed to committing the crime.

When interrogated, the suspect said,

Yes it is true that I kidnapped Halima my cousin. I hid her in an uncompleted building outskirt of town and then put a phone call through to her parents demanding for N70,000.

I also threatened that they may lose her if they fall to provide the money. Immediately, I terminated the call, my conscience pricked me that this path I have toed is dangerous and against my religion. I am very sorry for my action. I am asking for forgiveness. I have realized my mistakes.”

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Superintendent of Police, SP Isah Gambo, said:

“One Sanusi Abubakar of Marabar-Kankara village in Malumfashi LGA reported to the police that since his 4-years-old daughter, Halimatu Sanusi got missing and all efforts to trace her whereabout proved abortive.

Kehinde Oladimeji, 41 and his 35-year-old wife Adejumoke Raji were apprehended this past weekend for being in possession of human parts at the Leme area of Ogun State. They have now confessed on how they killed their victim, his wife’s friend.

As they were paraded before newsmen on Monday, February 14, at the Ogun State Police Headquarters, the husband, Oladimeji, shared that his wife singlehandedly killed her friend, who had paid them a visit.

He revealed it was the body parts of his wife’s friend that the police saw in the bucket caught with them. According to him, his wife butchered her friend and dismembered her body parts, after which they both sold the deceased’s head to someone in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital for N70,000.

“There was a day my wife invited her friend, a lady, to our house for a visit. The first time she came was on a Tuesday, she came that particular day and went back home.

But the second day she came, it was a Thursday. That day, my wife cooked noodles and eggs for the lady, which she ate. Later, the lady went into the bathroom to shower.

But when it was getting dark that day, I inquired from my wife when her friend would go home, but my wife said she was weak and would need to lie down to regain her strength. I sat in the backyard, but when I returned to the room, I realized my wife had killed her friend and dismembered her body.

When I asked her why she did it, she told me that the lady had offended her a long time ago. The person who bought the head came from Ibadan. His name is Oluomo,” the husband revealed

He went on the explain that his wife had overheard him on the phone when a friend from Ibadan called him to request a human head.

“I have a friend in Ibadan, who is popularly known as Omo Baale. He told me he needed a human head, but I told him I didn’t have such a connection or anybody who can help facilitate it.

My wife heard the discussion and asked me how much the man would pay for the human head. I told him he was ready to pay N70,000. I never knew my wife had made up her mind.

As you can see, I’m not a strong person. When the incident happened, I had wanted to kill myself, ” the husband said

Media personality and fashion entrepreneur, Laura Ikeji-Kanu, has called for the mental evaluation of teachers in Nigeria.

This comes following several reports about teachers brutalizing their pupils in the name of instilling discipline. Some days ago, a three-year-old girl was reportedly brutalized by her teacher in a Lagos school because she couldn’t recite the English alphabet, and most recently, a 19-month-old baby was mercilessly beaten by his teacher, leading to the death of the child.

In an apparent reaction to the recent happenings, Laura insisted that at this point, a mental evaluation of teachers is necessary.
