It can be recalled that Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, recently revealed that he has two sons from different mothers.
He made this disclosure in a recent interview with Jahbless Original Intelligence, where he spoke about his personal life and rise to stardom.
When the singer was asked if had children, he replied in the affirmative and revealed he has two sons from different mothers. He, however, didn’t give details of their whereabout.
“I have two boys, strong mafians.” He said.
10-year-old girl reportedly poisons her adopted parents
A Nigerian Twitter user has taken to the platform to narrate how her parents narrowly escaped being killed by a 10-year-old girl they adopted.
According to the Twitter user identified as @_marvie_ , the young girl added a chemical into her parents beverage. Fortunately, her dad perceived the strong smell after taking two spoons.
Marvie added that when the girl was questioned, she admitted that she laced the drink with poison to kill the couple.
Narrating the incident , the Twitter user wrote,
“I just want to thank God that the child my parents adopted didn’t turn me and my siblings to orphans. She poured one of those sniper like chemicals into their beverages because they said she should be apologising when she’s wrong.
After my dad took like 2 spoons he noticed it had a smell, with intuition he suspected what had happened. He asked her the next day and she admitted it. She was home alone all day. This is a child that myself and my sister will take it upon ourselves to fight for her when we think our parents are being too hard on her.

Sometime ago in 2021, the Lagos State Government sealed 30 Water Factories across the State for unhygienic production environment, failure to comply with regulatory provisions as well as operating without adhering to good manufacturing practices.
Executive Secretary of LASWARCO, Mrs. Funke Adepoju, who disclosed this to newsmen at the time, said the enforcement was in line with the mandate of the Commission to protect residents from unhygienic water consumption, stressing that the exercise would be sustained.
In her words ;
“In as much as we have the mandate to ensure that operators remain in business, we also cannot fold our arms and allow infractions to fester without being addressed. The primary regulatory mandate of the Commission is to ensure that operators in the water abstraction, production and distribution industry comply with best manufacturing procedures to safeguard the health of the people”.
Mrs. Adepoju said the level of poor and unwholesome practices discovered in some water factories in Lagos was not only disheartening but frightening, vowing that Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission (LASWARCO) would do all within its powers to ward off any attempt to put the lives of residents in jeopardy.

While family is fun, it can also be full of tensions. The pressures placed on them to meet certain standard often lead to harmful outcomes. Do you know that a lot of youths are undergoing depression because of the pressure and stress created by society and family? Some have resorted to drug abuse and excessive use of alcohol.
Most young people had to leave school just to fend for their families. At a young age, the families are already heaping “unrealistic “ responsibilities on them. Young girls are on the streets because they need to send money home. Girls above 30 are expected to settle down in a man’s house especially a “rich man “. Young girls are put under pressure to have this “perfect body”. Same with the boys . Have you ever wondered who made those rules? The struggle of “fitting in” is becoming more prominent.
There’s literally pressure from every side…Pressure from work to meet a certain target especially in banking systems. Pressure from society to dress or look certain way. Pressure from school to pass all exams and get a certain grade. Pressure from our local churches to donate for one thing or another. Pressure from friends (peer pressure) and it goes on and on…
Even on social media, some are now depressed for not getting a certain amount of likes on their posts.

“She is my daughter” – Ronke Odusanya’s baby daddy apologizes for requesting DNA test to ascertain paternity of their daughter (video)
Actress Ronke Odusanya’s baby daddy, Saheed “Jago” Olanrewaju, has made a U-turn, one year after requesting that a DNA test be carried out to ascertain the paternity of his daughter.
Jago and Ronke, who welcomed their daughter Oluwafifehanmi in 2019, have been in court for several reasons, including the paternity of their daughter.
One year ago, precisely February 2021, the baby-daddy asked requested that a paternity test be carried out on the child, on the grounds of suspicion of infidelity.
The court then ordered the test to be carried out at a specific hospital in Lagos and that the result be sent directly to the court.
Months later, it was reported that Jago failed to show up, and the judge issued a bench warrant and declared him wanted for refusing to show up for the DNA test and failing to appear in court.
The judge adjourned the matter till February 9, 2022.
On Monday, Feb. 7, two days to the next court date, Jago took to Instagram to apologize for requesting a DNA test in court.
He wrote that she is his daughter and declared his undying love for her.

Madam Olatorera, speaking about her senatorial race on Arise TV, was asked, “What has struck you the most in your political campaign?”
But the senatorial aspirant got confused with the question and asked in response: “You mean like lightning thunder kind of struck?”
The interviewer then had to explain the question to her before she was later able to answer.

Nigerian Catholic Priest narrates how a lady died after doctors forgot a piece of cloth in her stomach following a cesarean section
Popular Nigerian priest, Fr Kelvin Ugwu, has taken to his page to share an extremely sad story of how a lady he was called upon to pray for, died after it was discovered that doctors had forgotten a piece of cloth in her stomach after they carried out a cesarean section on her.
According to the clergyman, the piece of cloth made her sick for a long time, and her family members sought spiritual help after many hospitals they visited said nothing was wrong with her. The priest said it was when he was called for prayers that he asked that the deceased be taken to a different hospital where it was discovered that a piece of cloth was forgotten in her stomach.
In his words ;
”Sometimes I may appear hard on some issues, so many people might misunderstand my intention, but what I talk about here are born out of experiences.
I had an experience that broke my heart. It was after that experience that I told myself not to be silent anymore on religious abuses and bad governance. I sincerely pray and hope that after reading this, it won’t spoil your mood much.
In May 2016 when I was still working in Lagos, a parishioner ran to me requesting I come to pray for her neighbour who was seriously sick. I could read all over her that this neighbour of hers must be dying, so I hurriedly followed her.
When I entered the sick woman’s house, everywhere was dark. In Lagos, most buildings have windows in which opening them are as good as closing them because of their proximity to the wall of the next building. Most people use torchlight or candlelight in their rooms even on a sunny day.
With the aid of candlelight, I saw the woman sitting on her bed. I could see PAINS written all over her. And when I say pains, I mean the one that makes you understand that the word “pain” cannot truly describe real pain. She was wearing nothing. Her stomach was big, about the size of a slim woman carrying nine months’ pregnancy. But I was told she was not pregnant. This got me confused.
I was told she delivered a baby girl in January through Caesarean Section (CS) in a hospital in Port Harcourt. Her problem started after the operation. Nothing happened to the baby though, but the woman left the hospital with the feeling that everything was not alright. Few days after, the stitches loosened; she went back to the hospital, and it was sown again.
Few weeks later, she started feeling serious pains, her stomach started protruding, so she went to the hospital. Scans and tests were conducted, but nothing was discovered. According to the doctor, nothing was wrong with her medically. But since she complained of pains, she was given painkillers. When the problem persisted, her sister brought her to Lagos.
As expected, since the doctor already said she was medically fine, everyone and including herself started feeling her problem was spiritual. She sought spiritual help from many angles. People started suggesting names of those considered as “powerful” ministers and “powerful” churches.
Her sister took her to a church in Lagos for prayers and deliverance. She was being carried every day for prayers. She was practically in the church every day. The pastor will pray and pray, tell her to drink Goya oil, ask her to fast and do so many things I just don’t want to state here. Every day, her situation got worse.
By the time I met her, it was almost getting to five months since the CS. By this time, her stomach had protruded so much that you can’t differentiate it from a nine-month pregnant woman. Yet, she was not pregnant and there was no medical explanation for it. The pains I saw on her face, I can’t even wish my ‘enemies’ such pains.
After praying for her, I told them to go to a better hospital for another scan, and that they should do it immediately. With the help of her sister, she was taken to Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos. They carried out a fresh scan. After the scan, the result shocked everyone.
It was discovered that there was something foreign in her lower abdomen around the intestine. According to the doctor, a piece of cloth was forgotten in her stomach after the CS. This piece of cloth had already decayed inside, mixed up with the intestine, and had destroyed some delicate tissues. There was no other way for her except an operation in which the chance of survival was slim.
The operation was done. It was successful. But the woman went into a coma. I prayed for her, visited her, but she never woke up from that coma. That was how she died.
This broke my heart greatly. I cried.
In tears, I thought of the sacrifices women go through to give birth. I thought of the careless hospital and doctor that did the CS. I thought of the same hospital telling her that she was medically well, almost like telling her that her problem was spiritual. I thought of the churches and pastors she visited, the number of Goya oil she drank for four months that even got the situation worsened. I thought of many things. It was from that day I told myself, I may not be able to do much, but I won’t be silent over abuses in the name of healing or miracle and bad government.
You may attack me when I talk about so many things online, you may hate my gut and blackmail me. . .you may think you are more spiritual, but I know that one day you will search your heart, one day you will remember all I have been saying, one day you will learn that my advocacies are not about catholic versus the others.
I am a strong lover of God. I pray countless times in a day. I believe in God, in miracle, in his mighty powers. . . But, I also believe in the God who gives reasoning and common sense to deal with practical issues. God of reasoning is not at war with God of faith. That is why some of you are not balance. You have faith, but you don’t have sense.”
The moment you are sick and you go to the hospital and you are told that nothing is wrong with you medically, the immediate thing people do is to begin looking for priests or pastors they consider as highly spiritual. Now, imagine that you are in that condition and come to Fr Kelvin and I pray for you and tell you that your problem is not spiritual, won’t you consider me unspiritual? Won’t you leave me and go to another pastor or priest that is “more powerful” than myself?
So my question is, if one doctor tells you that there is nothing medically wrong with you, yet you still feel physical pain in your body, what stops you from going to another “more powerful doctor” or hospital?

Teenager nabbed while trying to cut the throat of a 3-year-old girl
A teenager was reportedly caught while trying to slit the throat of a 3-year-old girl — the incident is reported to have happened in the city of Touba, Senegal, on Friday, February 4.
According to reports, the teenager was spotted walking hastily with the girl towards an abandoned building at around 5pm when the manager of an auto garage noticed the teenager with the girl and became suspicious and so he began monitoring him as he took the girl into a deserted building located a few meters from the garage.
A little while later, the manager of the garage alerted two of his apprentices to monitor the suspicious movement of the teenager. The apprentices then quietly followed the teenager to his hideout where they were shocked to find him holding a knife over the little girl.
The apprentices nabbed the teenager and took him to the police station where he was questioned. According to the revelations of the Touba Brigade, the suspect is a 15-year-old apprentice driver.
The little girl, identified by her initials, KS, to protect her identity, was rescued and has been reunited with her parents KY and DM, whose names have also been abbreviated to hide their identities.

Popular Islamic cleric slumps during sermon in Kwara
Popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Habeeb Abdullahi Al-Ilory, reportedly suffered a stroke during a sermon in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
It was gathered that Sheikh Habeeb, proprietor of Markaz Arabic and Islamic Training Institute, Agege, Lagos, slumped during the Nikkah ceremony of the daughter of former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Alfa Belgore.
Daily Trust reported that Habeeb who dressed to the occasion in a white Agbada and green cap had barely started the sermon when he collapsed.
He was later admitted at the Stroke Unit of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), and a top medical officer at the hospital confirmed that the cleric suffered a stroke and had been admitted at the Stroke Unit of the UITH.
The medical officer said, “He was rushed to UITH on Thursday and it was later discovered that he suffered a stroke. He is at the Stroke Unit of the UITH.”
A member of the Mufti’s cabinet who pleaded anonymity, said, “Baba (Sheikh Habeeb) is getting better and very soon, you will see him back on stage. Nobody is free from such a test no matter how highly placed his position and status is in society.”

“I’m comfortable with my abductors” – Kidnapped Bethel student says, as he allegedly refuses to return home
One of the kidnapped Bethel Baptist Secondary school students has reportedly refused to return to his family, stating that he’s comfortable with his abductors.
It can be recalled that on Monday, July 5, 2021, gunmen attacked the school located along the Kaduna-Kachia highway, Damishi, and abducted 121 students. However, 120 of them have since been released, leaving behind one student.
The student has now expressed desire to be with the bandits rather than return home to his family. The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev Joseph John Hayab, made this revelation.
According to Vanguard, Hayab also disclosed that the member of the CAN who took the ransom demanded by the terrorists was also kidnapped after he delivered the message.
“The remaining student preferred to remain with the bandits, it puzzled the entire members of the Baptist family and indeed, CAN. The bandits were said to be showering the boy with gifts each time they went out and come back from operations, thereby, making him reject the offer of freedom.
He is the smallest among them. I think the kidnappers were smart. They worked and changed his mind that he even said he wants to stay with them. They gave him meat, good things. Anytime they go out and come back, they pick him among the rest and gave him so many things and then he starts acting funny.
If they tell him to go home, he would say he was not going and gave some flimsy excuses that his parents used to beat him at home. I understand they are playing mind games with him by giving him gifts and convincing him to talk that way.

Popular actress, Destiny Etiko, and her colleague, Chizzy Gold, were engaged in a heated argument which almost escalated into a physical brawl.
Destiny Etiko went live on her Instagram page to call out and bash her colleague for being ‘evil’.
She seemed very furious during the Instagram live session as she traded word with Lizzy Gold who was being restrained by another woman.
“Look at her, she’s evil. You’re a wicked idiot, I know how to deal with your kind,” Destiny is heard saying.
She took to her Instagram page moments later to share a video of them fighting dirty over an undisclosed issue. In the caption, she labelled Chizzy an “ingrate” and said she is coming for her.

A Nigerian man has stirred reactions after he publicly admitted to cheating on his wife, who stayed and believed in him when he had nothing.
The man with the Twitter handle @Naijawatch, while replying to a tweet, narrated how his wife lifted him when he was broke. According to him, his amazing “Mrs” believed in him when no one else did.
He then added that’s why he tells his side chicks that no matter how hard they try he can never leave his wife.
In his words,
“Thank God my Mrs did not have this kind of mindset. I was broke, had nothing and she still believed in me and she lifted me. And this is why I tell my side chicks “no matter how e sweet reach, I can never leave my wife”.

A 26-year-old man has killed the mother of his child before killing himself at an apartment complex in Brown Deer, Wisconsin.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning, Feb 5, and it was gathered that police rushed to the scene after receiving distress calls about gunshots fired in Park Plaza apartment.
According to reports, the suspect, who is now deceased, shot and killed his babymama over a disagreement, then killed a 31-year-old man who tried to help his baby mama when he attacked her, and shot another 36-year-old man who fortunately survived the gunshot wound.
When police arrived at the scene, the shooter engaged in a shootout with police officers and livestreamed it on his Facebook page.
Towards the end of the video, the man could be heard saying his last prayers as he told God that he has failed him and everyone else.
He also told his listeners that he wants his child to stay with his maternal grandparents because they are good people.
Speaking further, he asked a friend who is owing him to give the money to his baby mama’s parents so they can use it to take care of his child. He reportedly shot himself after ending the Facebook live.
Meanwhile, what led to the disagreement between him and his baby mama before the murder-suicide occurred is still unknown.

A Nigerian Twitter user simply identified as Nora Stone, has berated women who rock revealing outfits to church.
Taking to the popular micro-blogging platform, Nora said she’s tired of seeing ladies donning revealing outfits to church. According to her, there’s a time and place for everything, and wearing dresses that are too revealing to a place of worship is wrong.
Expressing her displeasure over the act, which she said is now a common practice among women, she wrote,
“Sighs. I’m tired of having to see babes in very revealing outfits to church. Haba! Common.
There’s a time and place for everything. You’re going to church and your cleavages are out; slit is almost showing your ass; see through dresses without inner wear. No fear at all. Na wao”.
Her tweet however stirred mixed reactions from social media users. While some agreed with her stance, others averred that a woman should be free to dress in whatever way she pleases.

30-year-old housewife allegedly stabs her husband’s nephew to death for breaking the house mirror (photo)
A 30-year-old housewife, Cynthia Olukiowu, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband’s 18-year-old nephew, identified as Habeeb Aremu, to death over a minor disagreement.
The incident reportedly occurred in their residence at no 2, Apogidonoyo street, Jafa Agbado, Ogun state, on Saturday, January 5.
According to a statement released by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect was arrested after the Agbado divisional headquarters received a distress call that a boy had been stabbed on the neck by his uncle’s wife after a misunderstanding about a mirror he allegedly broke.
“It was the allegation that led to disagreement between the deceased and his uncle’s wife, subsequent upon which the suspect took a kitchen knife and used it to stab the deceased on his neck.
Upon the distress call, the Dpo Agbado division CSP Kehinde Kuranga quickly led his men to the scene, where the suspect was promptly arrested, and the victim who was in the pool of his own blood was rushed to hospital. He was unfortunately confirmed dead by the doctor on duty and his corpse was deposited at Ifo general hospital mortuary for autopsy,” Oyeyemi wrote.
The state commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered that the suspect be immediately transferred to homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
