Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has advised his colleague and good friend, Mercy Aigbe, to hold her husband tight and care less about people’s opinions about their relationship.

It can be recalled that Mercy Aigbe came under heavy fire after she took to social media to flaunt her new man, popular filmmaker Kazim Adeoti, who is said to be married with kids.

Mercy’s marriage to the new man generated mixed reactions from social media users. While some fans and followers congratulated the mother of two on finally finding love again and giving another shot at marriage, others berated her for being with a man who is already married with kids.

On the other hand, Uche Maduagwu advised Mercy to follow her happiness and ignore naysayers. According to him, the people who criticized Regina Daniels for marrying Ned Nwoko are now the same people celebrating them.

JAMB rejects the apology of a born-again candidate who confessed to having cheated 21 years ago

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has rejected the apology of a repentant candidate who confessed to having cheated when he wrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 21 years ago.

The Nigerian man, identified as Timipade Kemepade, had written to the board asking for forgiveness, claiming that he was now born again and had only cheated out of youthful exuberance.

The letter titled, “Restitution on my JAMB Result 21 Years Ago“, read in part,

“With regret and sincere apology to JAMB, I, Timipade Kemepade, with Certificate No. 33208803GA confess that l participated in examination malpractice 21 years ago while sitting my JAMB examination. I, therefore, seek the forgiveness of JAMB. I sincerely regret my youthful exuberance”.

However, the board, in response to the man’s letter stated that the apology and consequent admission of guilt are “rejected in their entirety and are, therefore, not admissible.”

The board also informed him that the condition for accepting his apology is his willingness to forfeit all the certificates he had fraudulently acquired with the result of the exam he confessed to have cheated on 21 years ago.

In the chats, the Russian woman gave him a favourable and friendly response however the Nigerian lady was reluctant to chat with him and even refused to tell him her name.

Reacting to this, the man with Twitter handle @odeyemi_yem questioned why Nigerian ladies are always rigid.

The Zazu Zeh star who is in Kenya for a show took to social media to share a video which showed him with three ladies in a room.

In the video, Portable made one of the ladies dance for him as he sang his hit song “Zazu”.

A Nigerian man was left in a state of total shock after he was jilted by his white fiancée during their wedding ceremony in Bangladesh recently.

A video serving rounds online shows the moment the gentleman’s white girlfriend told him and guests present that she’s sorry and can’t move on with their wedding.

In course of their wedding ceremony, the man had been asked if he was going to take his fiancée as his lawfully wedded wife and he responded with the conventional “I do”. However, when his fiancée was asked the same question, she was unable to contain her emotions but instead burst out crying and apologizing, saying she can’t go through with the wedding.

The tweet of a tweep on Twitter elicited reactions from a couple of tweeps over what was alleged in the said tweet 😏.

Twitter user, ALHAJI OMO ILORIN with handle, @Eederah_ took to the social networking platform recently to claim that his brother deposited the sum of N3m to the account of his wife to be in preparation for their marriage rites, however he got swindled after the said bride-to-be used the money for other personal gains.

@Eederah_ claims that his brother’s wife-to-be, after the money was deposited into her account, used it to process her visa and travel out of the country.

His tweet reads,

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has blamed President Buhari for the Super Eagles’ loss to Tunisia at the African Cup of Nations yesterday.

The Nigerian Super Eagles team were knocked out of the tournament after losing 1 – 0 to Tunisia in the Round of 16 on Sunday night, January 23, when Youssef Msakni scored with a long-range shot in the 47th minute.

Reno in a video he shared on social media blamed the president for the defeat.

Prior to the start of the match, the president had called the players to motivate them and enjoined them to make the country proud.

According to Reno, he had warned the Nigerian Football Federation against allowing the president to speak to the Super Eagles, as he was certain the call would affect their performance.

A 32-year-old South African woman, Zukiswa Joyi, who recently revealed that she is still a virgin, has advised women who engage in sex before marriage.

In a post on her Facebook page, she admonishes women who are of the habit of guising “overnight prayer” visit to their boyfriends just so they can sleep with them. She asks them to resist the devil.

She wrote,

“The Bible Says Resist The Devil. But When it comes to Sexual Immorality It says Flee…..Run Away. But the Wise in their Own Eyes keep Saying I’m just visiting my BF/Fiance for Overnight Prayers, Next Thing She’s Carrying baby Intercessor and The brother is Nowhere to be Found.
