A young man’s unexcited reaction to the romantic birthday surprise his girlfriend organized for him has stirred mixed reactions from netizens.
The young lady went all out to make her lover feel loved and special on his birthday but the way he reacted got people talking.
The thoughtful lady hired a trumpeter, bought her man loads of gifts and carefully arranged them on a table in their sitting room.
A video she shared on social media which captured the moment the young man walked into the room showed him looking unexcited and seemingly unhappy.
When one would have expected that he would be overwhelmed by the surprise and probably give his girlfriend a warm hug to show her appreciation, he just picked a seat in the room and kept pressing his phone.

Two siblings crushed to death by reckless driver in Ogun (video)
A 15-year-old girl, Olamide, and her 11-year-old brother, Damilola, have died after they were allegedly crushed to death by a reckless driver in Ogun state.
According to their uncle, Yomi Opayemi, who took to Facebook to demand justice for the deaths of his niece and nephew, the unfortunate incident happened on Friday, January 7th in the Ilisan-Remo area of Ogun state.
He revealed that the erring driver, Moshudi Badmus Al-hassan, was leaving the police station with his car that was earlier ceased for reckless driving when he rammed into the two children.
Speaking further, Opayemi claimed the driver killed a third person, and the deceased’s older sibling narrowly escaped being crushed by him.

Nigerian journalist, Agba Jalingo, has revealed the response he allegedly received from a lady he secured a N35k/month job for.
The publisher of Cross River Watch took to Facebook to share this on Saturday, January 8th.

Terhemen Anongo, who is a 44-year-old resident of Gboko in Benue State removed one of the testicles himself in 2021 and almost lost his life in the process.
The gentleman made headlines in March of 2021 after he personally undertook the surgery, which resulted in lots of bleeding.
Terhemen was however given a second chance at life after being taken for medical attention by those around him.
The man who reportedly dropped out University of Ibadan medical school over alleged ill health, told pressmen that hiscastration was based on his religious belief that since he was not married, he needed to serve God faithfully.
He told newsmen on Sunday, January 9th,
“I went to remove the second testicle based on religious belief. I removed it on Monday. The first one had little hitches but this one having learnt from that experience, I did (remove) it very well. Somebody is always coming to dress it for me.
“I’m fine. There is no problem, I’m only waiting for when the wound will heal so I can remove the stitches.”

A 32-year-old graphics designer, Nonts Kongchaw, and his partner have caused a stir after they shared photos from their funeral-themed prewedding shoot online.
In the photos the young couple posed in coffins and various scenes in a graveyard. One of the images also showed them leaning against a column tombstone behind a sign that reads, “Marry Me.”
Another photo shows the couple laying down inside a coffin while the bride who donned a long white wedding dress draws a silk covering over the groom who is clutching a bouquet.
The photos stirred tons of reactions from social media users and has been shared over ten thousand times on Facebook.
Reacting to the photos, netizens opine that the concept might have spiritual implications and can probably lead to a curse being placed upon their marital bond.

The lady Simi, with handle @burnt__dodo on Twitter, shared in details how the urge to “catch cruise” took her all the way to the church of the viral evangelist in Lagos, just so she could hear her teachings live.
While her visit didn’t live up to her expectations, she however had an interesting experience when she got to the church, with the name, Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church of God. In a series of tweets, she highlights interesting moments of her visit; how she had to take off her jewelries before entering the church, switch off her phone during the service among others.
She then revealed that in course of the service, she got to discover that Mummy GO wouldn’t be able to preach in her own church at the time because she had been receiving death threats.. which was rather disappointing.

Unfortunately, he learned from a mutual friend that the lady had been murdered and her body parts removed by her boyfriend, who wanted to use her for ritual.

Former Big Brother Naija star, Tochi Okechukwu, seems to have taken his romantic life to another level as he recently proposed to his US-Based lover.
A clip shared online captured the moment the reality star took to his knees to pop the question and she accepted.
He then gave a hint that the wedding will be held later in 2022.
