Popular Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, better known as Bella Shmurda, has boasted about being richer than his peers despite not performing well academically.

The vision 2020 crooner in a chat with Pulse admitted that his academic setback made him who he is today.

According to Bella, who recently graduated from Lagos State University, although he was not a dullard as many people thought, it’s possible he wouldn’t have become the music star that he is today if he had focused more on his education.

Speaking further, the ‘sho mo mi’ claimed to be richer than all the course mates who graduated with him in the same set.

Popular reality TV star and businesswoman, Ka3na, has stirred reactions following her tweet about those who fly private jets.

Taking to the micro-blogging platform the self-styled boss lady stated that those who fly in private jets with people have no right to claim they’ve enjoyed the ‘PJ’ experience.

According to her, getting on a private jet with people, the same as taking a public flight.

UPDATE: Police arrests lady who allegedly seized and starved teenage mother’s 5-months-old son over unpaid debt

In a new update, the said “madam” who allegedly seized a teenage mom’s five months old child because of an unpaid debt has been apprehended by the police.

Earlier today, news made the rounds of how a 19 year old mother sadly lost her newborn baby because it was seized by her madam identified as one Madam Tina Ogbonnaya who she owed the hospital bill she’d helped her clear.

It took the intervention of the Lagos State Social Welfare and the police to reunite the woman and her child.

Nigerian human rights activist, Harrison Gwamishu who has been on the situation, gave an update on his Facebook page, revealing that the said madam has landed in police custody.

Given an update, he wrote on his Facebook page,

The face of Madam Tina Ogbonnaya, currently detained at Divisional Police Station Ajah, Lagos State.
We commend the division police for their job BUT want the case transferred to Homicide department SCID.

Music star, Teni has fired back at music producer Shizzi following his comment after she complained about users.

The drama started when Teni tweeted her displeasure over people that ‘use’ others for personal gain.

She’d wrote ;

“Users have no pity, they’ll use you and feel no remorse, don’t let that crown shift. Walk away.”

Shizzi then quoted the tweet and replied ;

“Oh you don dey feel am? Them don dey serve you breakfast already? See who’s talking about users???”

Teni fired back ;

“You that you wanted to waste my life. Signed me with no plans. You gave my songs away, my mother paid you in full and I got out the contract, I walked away peacefully. Thank God for my mom, I would’ve still been singing on the streets of Atlanta.”

Shizzi then accused Teni of taking a song he produced with her to another in-house producer to recreat it ;

“You, that took a song that I produced with you “Case” and you went and gave your in-house producer to reproduce it without my consent and you released the song and your guy “Nurse Dolor” endorsed it with no remorse till 2day.., you’re talking about users.. nah stop it!”

On social media, a number of people have been complaining about the unexplainable debits they’ve been receiving from their banks and the actress seems to have the same complaint as well.

A quite furious Nigerian businessman, Mompha is angry over the fact that his name has been entangled in the messy drama involving socialite, Bobrisky and actress, Tonto Dikeh.

This comes after in one of the screenshots of the chats Tonto Dikeh released of herself and Bobrisky to reveal what caused their fight, Bobrisky mentioned Mompha’s name where he stated that the businessman gave Dikeh money and she didn’t tell him about it.

I wish to state that this is not only untrue, but a deliberate attempt by Bobrisky, who is notorious for seeking attention through every means (including blackmail), to smear and ridicule my personality before the world. Rather, it was Bobrisky who informed me that Tonto Dikeh accused me of being too stingy, which I refuted as untrue. The truth is that I only gave the sum of N300,000.00 to Tonto Dikeh for her foundation when she pleaded with me to support her pet project. It has however come to my knowledge that Bobrisky was actually at loggerheads with Tonto Dikeh, and resorted to use my name to discredit her before the general public. Shatu Garko, an 18-year-old has won the 2021 Miss Nigeria beauty pageant, held in Lagos state last night.

The 18-year-old who is from Kano state in the North West region of Nigeria is an hijab model and says she loves horse riding.

Despite being the youngest contestant, Garko was crowned as the 44th queen of the competition during the coronation ceremony held in Lagos on Friday 17th of December 2021, beating 17 others to become the first hijab-wearing model to wear the Miss Nigeria crown.

Three children burnt to death as fire razes parent’s home in Benue

Tragedy recently struck a community in Otukpo, Otukpo local government area of Benue State as three members of a family were burnt to death at their home.

The sad incident reportedly happened in a two-bedroom flat of Jesus College Quarters, home of the father of the victims, Mr Ochoche Ode, at around 1.00 a.m on Friday December 17.

According to distraught father, the fire was noticed at midnight by his wife’s younger sister who perceived that something was burning while three of his children were asleep.

He said that he was in one of the rooms with his wife when they were alerted of the incident.

“As I was about to find out what was happening, the fire escalated, covering the whole room where my kids were sleeping and in an attempt to force myself into the room to rescue the children, my face got badly burnt. All attempts by neighbours to quell the fire failed and all my three children were burnt to death,” Ode said.

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Sewuese Anene, confirmed the incident on Friday in Makurdi.

To prove a point, Popular Nigerian Actress and Entrepreneur, Tonto Dikeh has release her conversation with Corssdresser, Bobrisky, to show the genesis of their beef.

The conversation also denies claims that she has refused to refund the money she owes the crossdresser.

In one of the chat, Bobrisky called out his friend, Tonto for not attending his birthday party, even when others did..

In another, it shows him calling out the actress for not telling him that his friend, Mompha whom he introduced to the actress donated to her charity organization.

Popular Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has taken to social media to show off the sack of money she was sprayed at her birthday party.

The media personality turns 30 today, December 17, and threw an elaborate party with family, friends and colleagues, in attendance to celebrate her new age yesterday, Dec 18.

At the event themed “Nancy’s Winter Wonderland”, the movie star was sprayed different currencies by her loved-ones and the money was collated in a sack.

Taking to her Instagram story this morning, Nancy shared a video of the moment she offloaded the money from the sack and it included dollars and bundles of money.

A while ago, Nancy Isime took to social media to reveal the moment her whole life changed.

According to the 29-year-old, her life changed when she realized that she could lead a humble and calm life without letting people disrespect and treat her badly.

The yoga enthusiast noted that her perspective took a turn when she understood that she could be humble and still set healthy boundaries with people to protect her energy.

She wrote on her Instastory,

“My whole life changed when I realized I could be humble and calm yet still take no shit and set solid boundaries to protect my energy.”
