Popular Nigerian singer, Harrysong, recently attained fatherhood and it was a moment of celebration for him.
However, while congratulatory messages were pouring in, some fans frowned at the fact that he was witnessing the birth of his first child via a video call and not with his physical presence.
The singer has now given a reason why he wasn’t in the labor room with his wife.
The proud new father told Saturday Beats, “My wife is in Malta and that was where she had our beautiful daughter. But, I am in Nigeria at the moment to handle my business. I also have shows back home. I feel blessed being a father. I am practically the happiest man right now.”

Kehinde bagged a B.Sc in Healthcare Administration from Albany State University while his twin sister Taiye bagged a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Management from Columbus State University.

“Sentenced to life” – Couple celebrate 5th wedding anniversary with mugshot-inspired photos
A young man and his wife are currently trending on social media after their mugshot-inspired photo-shoot surfaced online.
The duo who are celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary came up with the creative concept, different from the usual.
Usually couples would rock fancy matching outfits for their photo-shoot, but this couple went out of the ordinary and donned orange jumpsuits like prison inmates.
To make the concept look more real, they held mugshot letter boards. However, theirs read, “5 years served” and “sentenced to life”, and their crime was stated as heart robbery.
Sharing the photos on social media, brand expert, Kingsley Egbe wrote,
“Not Every time a perfect picture representing marriage with all the glits and glam of a well tailored suit and gown or some elegant native attire. Truth is sometimes, we all feel like we traded our freedom and we are locked up in it.

The singer had taken to social media to announce his latest luxury purchase and share photos of the expensive car, which comes weeks after he took delivery of a Rolls Royce.
According to him, Christmas came early for him, adding that this is the last car he would buy for now.

“I knew ‘Made In Lagos’ would be a mega success” – Wizkid
Popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has said he knew his “Made In Lagos” album was going to be a huge success.
The Made In Lagos star made this revelation in a recent interview while speaking about the efforts that were put into the album before its release.
According to him, a lot of hard work, time and resources went into it. He also revealed the album took three years to make.
“I felt it coming. I would say I’m lying if I didn’t feel it coming because it took me three years to work on that album. So I felt like there was going to be a shift, but I didn’t know how it would come. Because I knew that it was kind of like a different… it wasn’t a different sound, but it was more mature sound from what I used to make”, he said.
The legendary singer recently emerged winner of the Artist of the Year for African category in the Apple Music Awards 2021 and bagged two nominations at the 64th Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy on Tuesday, November 23, announced the nominations for each of the 86 categories for the 2022 Grammy awards slated for early next year.

The Founder of Flying Doctors Nigeria, Dr. Ola Brown, has revealed that she has been married for years and has never cooked.
She made this revelation while reacting to the trending conversation about women being compelled to cook at family gatherings.
It all started when a man took to Twitter to say his wife will not cook at any family gathering.
“My wife will not cook at any family gathering, if you can’t get a caterer, drink water,” he tweeted.
This degenerated into a full-blown debate on the micro-blogging platform and netizens shared their hot takes.
While some people supported the tradition and said it is an avenue for women to bond, others kicked against it and questioned why it’s only women that are expected to bond over cooking while the men bond over drinks.

In other news, popular American TV personality, Nick Cannon has lost his youngest child, Zen to brain cancer.
The father of seven who tearfully shared the announcement on his show, narrated how he and his family discovered Zen was battling Hydrocephalus, a form of brain cancer.
In his words ;
“I always noticed he had a cough and so I wanted to check it out. He had this interesting breathing and by the time he was two months I noticed he had this nice sized head too — a Cannon head. We didn’t think anything of it. But I wanted to take him to the doctor for his sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine.”
The family soon discovered it wasn’t going to be a routine visit as Zen had fluid building in his head and it was a malignant tumor. The baby had brain surgery and a shunt to drain the fluid. Things however took a turn for the worse at Thanksgiving.
Cannon then tearfully shared that he held his son for the last time on Sunday. It is reported that Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed Zen in July. The family learned that Zen — who was Cannon’s seventh child — had been building up fluid in his brain that turned out to be a malignant tumor.
“This weekend I made an effort to spend the most quality time with Zen. We woke up on Sunday and went to the ocean with him and Alyssa and then I had to fly back to New York for the show,” he shared, breaking down in tears. “I got a call on my way to the airport to head back to Zen.”
