Nigerian comedienne and actress, Damilola Adekoya better known as Princess, has spoken about her ‘failed marriage’ with estranged husband, Adeshola Jeremiah.
Princess tied the knot with Yoruba producer, Adeshola Jeremiah in an elaborate ceremony in May 2013, but sadly the marriage lasted only two weeks.
Speaking about the experience in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, while opening up about some of her life’s challenges, the comedian noted that after her marriage crashed she felt like a failure and felt that her life had ended.
“When my marriage crashed in 2013, ill tell you the truth that was my first failure. I just felt my life had ended. Getting up might be very difficult. It’s like a stampede. When you fall down, others are running for their lives too. They will step on you even unknowingly. Some people have stepped on me, nearly made me lose my life.” she said.

The General overseer of Shekinah Arena Ministries, Evang Gospel Agochukwu, has taken to social media to share his life story and how he started preaching in Primary 4.
He said he was born in Scripture Union Crusade Ground in Methodist Church, Owerri, and the officiating minister, Rev Ogbonna, christened him ‘Gospel’.
Sharing throwback pictures of himself, Evang Gospel wrote,
My mother said on my dedication day a dove flew into the church and the Priest in charge, Late Revd. Onyenankeya, said it means this child is not ordinary.
My mum is still alive go and ask her.
I was in primary 4 and this picture is me preaching under the power of the Holyghost @ Wesley Methodist Church Awalla (My Home Church), Imo State.
The man at my back is still alive, Revd. Igwe, he was interpreting in IGBO language for me while the wife on my left, a deaconess, died this year.

“Seat belt saved my life” – Dr Joe Abah reveals after surviving car accident on Third Mainland Bridge (photos)
Governance expert and public figure, Dr Joe Abah was recently involved in a car accident but thankfully, he survived.
Abah who took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share photos of the damaged cars noted that he survived the accident which happened on the Third Mainland bridge, Lagos because he used seat belt.
According to him, he had to seek medical attention after the multiple car crash and doctors told him the outcome could have been worse if he wasn’t using the safety device while seated at the back.
His tweet reads,
“3rd Mainland 3 weeks ago, silver jeep hit the Prado I was in, pushed us off our lane into another car & still bashed the Corolla. Driver was asleep. Doctors were unanimous: ‘You’re lucky you were wearing your seatbelt while seated at the back. I’m fine now. Baby Boying resumed.”

Social media Influencer, Dr Chinonse Egemba popularly known as Aproko Doctor, has sparked a debate online after he dropped a hot take about safe abortions.
According to him, safe abortion services will be readily available in Africa if men were the ones who carry pregnancies.
Taking to Twitter, Aproko doctor insinuated that the controversy surrounding abortion wouldn’t be in existence and safe abortion would be a norm if men also got pregnant.
He tweeted: “I’m thinking. If men were to get pregnant, safe abortion services would be READILY available, especially in these parts of the world.”
His opinion has stirred mixed reactions on social media and a lot of people, especially men, criticized him for it.

Corps member narrates how her friend was rejected at her PPA by a lady who turned around to ask her to become her old mother’s caregiver for N10k
A young Nigerian lady identified as Okorite Gillis, has made a case for the compulsory one year national service be scrapped.
Grillis stated this in a Facebook post while narrating how her friend, a serving corps member was rejected by her PPA and immediately offered a N10,000 job as a nanny by the woman who rejected her.
According to her, the corps member had taken her letter to the organization she was posted to, but the woman who was supposed to treat the letter rejected her and offered a job as her old mother’s caregiver.
Grillis in the Facebook post wondered why a graduate will be given a N10k offer to work as a caregiver.
“Toh. My eyes have seen something in the last one week. So after camp closed, we went to search for our PPAs. My friend’s PPA somewhere, had the woman reject her, then turn around to offer her 10k monthly if she could serve as her old mother’s nanny. A graduate? 4 frigging years. Wads of foreign currency harvested of woman’s bosom at an event (video)
A clip that showed the moment a woman dipped her hands into another woman’s bosom to dig out wads of cash has got people talking on social media.
According to reports, friends of the woman sprayed her foreign currency, but rather than let it fall to the floor as is the norm, the friends dipped the money inside her top to prevent “pickers” from stealing the hard currency.
When the “spraying session” ended, the woman went back to her table alongside her friends who helped her harvest the fruits (foreign currency) of her hard work.

Nigerian man celebrates as his wife gives birth to twins after 10 years of marriage
Congratulations are in order for a Nigerian couple, Mr and Mrs Ikeh Chidi, as they welcome a set of twins after ten years of marriage.
The husband, Alloy took to his Facebook page to on Wednesday, November 10 to celebrate the arrival of their bundle of joy.
Sharing a photo he took with his wife when she was pregnant, he recounted how they got married in December 2011 and has been looking up to God for the fruit of the womb, until God recently gave them double blessings, twin babies.
In his words,
“We got married in December 10th 2011. Yesterday the Lord God remembered us and blessed us with twins babies. Celebrate with me and my lovely wife. Mr and Mrs Ikeh Chidi are celebrating their twin babies. Celebrate with us.”

CCTV captures moment man stole an iPhone 12 pro max from a shop in Lagos (video)
A CCTV footage showing the moment a young man stole an iPhone 12 pro max at a shop in computer village, Ikeja Lagos state, has been shared online.
The footage which made it’s was to the internet shows the unidentified man entering into the shop like a customer who wanted to buy something.
However, when the shop attendant came to him to take his order, he distracted her and quickly picked the phone which was displayed on the shelf.
When he was sure no one was looking he kept the stolen phone in his pocket and stylishly made his way out of the store.

In related news, a young lady identified as Ife Aboyeji, an ND II student of Business Admin in Yabatech, Lagos, was caught after stealing from her boss.
The lady who is said to be doing her Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) program in a company, was nabbed red handed both by her boss and CCTV after stealing N500k cash.
It was learnt she had first stolen some money and no one noticed, so yesterday she went again to steal in the morning and no one also noticed.
She allegedly went back again for the third time in the afternoon to steal again that was when her Madam worked in on her and caught her. The CCTV footages were later reviewed as all her previous atrocities came to light.

Woman faints as she’s publicly flogged in Indonesia for extramarital affair
An Indonesian married woman reportedly collapsed in agony as she was flogged publicly for having an affair with another man, outside her marriage.
The woman, from the city Banda Aceh was nabbed having sex with another man rather than her husband and sentenced to 17 strokes of the cane along with her partner.
The punishment was carried out by an official wearing a head-to-toe brown cloak with their identity hidden by a mask.
The woman, wearing traditional Islamic dress, was flogged with a bamboo cane till she passed out. Photos which captured the moment she slumped has surfaced online.
Her partner was also flogged at the same event. Aceh is the only Indonesian province which operates under Sharia law – which sees rules governed by a radical interpretation of Islam’s holy book the Quran.
The most serious sentences for homosexuality, for example, can include up to 150 lashes. Victims frequently pass out during their sentence or have to be hospitalized afterwards.

Nigerian reality star, Cindy Okafor has taken to social media to narrate how her man caught her on a date with another man.
Cindy made this disclosure in a post shared on her Insta-stories while correcting the notion that women are good cheaters because they never get caught.
Using herself as an example, she noted that the belief that women get away with cheating because they never get caught is untrue.
According to her, it depends on the parties involved, as some men can be aggressively vigilant.
She shared how she once upon a time tried going on a date with a man that’s not her man and got caught.

Twitter suspension: Between activist Rinu and Governor El-Rufai on Twitter
There was a little bit of gbas gbos between human rights activist, Rinu Oduala, and Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, after he put out a tweet on Twitter despite the suspension in Nigeria.
It can be recalled that the federal government placed an indefinite ban on Twitter on June 5, 2021, thus restricting people from using the app in Nigeria.
Gov El Rufai had posted something on Twitter on Wednesday, November 10, and a curious Twitter user inquired if he used VPN to bypass the suspension. However, the governor said he is not in Nigeria at the moment so he can use Twitter freely.
In response to his tweet which quickly went viral, activist, Rinu rephrased his sentence and stated that the governor meant “the only place he has freedom of speech is outside Nigeria”.
The Governor responding to her tweet said it is not logical to equate Twitter usage with freedom of speech.
“Wrong! Conflating Twitter with “freedom of speech” is a significant exaggeration. Freedoms of many descriptions existed before and without Twitter, and will remain long after!! Enjoy your day”, he wrote.
Rinu didn’t let it stop there as she fired back at him saying, “You are blanketing shamelessness with proper English, my dear Governor.
I only hope bandits are not killing innocent citizens wherever you are.

American rapper, Kid Cudi has got people taking after he attended the 2021 CFDA Awards dressed like a bride.
The ‘pursuit of happiness’ crooner arrived the event which held on Wednesday night, in a white lace ensemble wedding dress and veil designed by CFDA’s American Emerging Designer of the Year nominee, Eli Russell Linnetz.
According to the designer, he randomly sent the rapper a text of a wedding dress and he agreed to rock it
“I just out of the blue sent him a text of a wedding dress and I was like, ‘Will you be my bride?”, Linnetz told PEOPLE.
“I trust this man so I was down to take it wherever his mind went,” Cudi told the publication.
