Big Brother Naija star, TBoss has taken to social media to bemoan the alarming increase in the price of cooking gas in Nigeria.
The reality star in a post shared on her Insta-sories noted that refilling a 3kg cylinder is now double the price. According to her, a small cylinder now cost N8,500 compared to N4,500 in July.
Lamenting the high cost of cooking gas and other commodities, TBoss wondered how people are supposed to survive
“The price of the small cylinder is now N8,500. It was N4,500 in July. Come on Naija. Which way??? This is getting ridiculous. Everything is increasing except salaries. How are people supposed to survive?”
Meanwhile, US-based Nollywood actor, Alesh Ola Sanni has taken to social media to bemoan the high cost of housing in Nigeria.
The actor in a video he shared on his Instagram page complained about the high cost of rent in all parts of the country, particularly in Lagos.
According to him, houses on the Island in Lagos state now go for as high as three, four or five million Naira while the low-cost houses popularly known as “Face me I slap you” that used to be as low as N2,000 monthly now go for N10,000.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share alleged new information about the allegation levied against Big Brother Naija star, Maria, by popular socialite, Cubana Chief Priest.
Recall that Cubana Chief Priest called out Maria for snatching his sister’s husband, Kelvin, and spending time with him in Dubai. He also alleged that the reality show star has been threatening his sister if she refuses to leave the marriage.
Well, a self-acclaimed blogger, identified as @__trapselena_, has now shared new alleged insight into the saga. She alleged that Kelvin’s wife, Onyi, ended their marriage a long time ago because of his incessant cheating.
According to her, Kelvin is a serial cheat and his wife has caught him with different women in Owerri, hence the decision to call off their marriage.
She alleged that their divorce proceedings are currently underway, but she took up Maria’s case because she is popular.

US-based Nollywood actor, Alesh Ola Sanni has taken to social media to bemoan the high cost of housing in Nigeria.
The actor in a video he shared on his Instagram page complained about the high cost of rent in all parts of the country, particularly in Lagos.

Slay queen granted N5m bail after blackmailing her client with tape (Photos)
An infamous slay queen, who’s known popularly with the name, Charlotte Delhi met her waterloo as she was arrested for allegedly blackmailing a former permanent secretary of the state for the Ministry of Education, Dr. Walton Liverpool, with a sex tape.
The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, has however granted Charlotte, said to be 19, a N5 million bail for her crime. She was apprehended and charged to court by the Department of State Services (DSS) over crimes related to blackmail and cyberstalking.
While testifying in court, the said victim, Dr. Liverpool, revealed that he met the accused on Facebook in August of 2021 and had a consensual encounter at an hotel in Yenagoa, but unbeknownst to him, he was being taped.
“On the 8th of September, 2021, I was hosted to a reception after the ceremony, I retired to my room to sleep. At about midnight, I received a Whatsapp message on my phone announcing a package for me.
I inquired who the sender of the message was and asked the nature of the package. I was told that they have made a video of me. When I asked for the identity of the sender, they told me not to worry and that I should cooperate with them and the matter will be over.
I was asked to pay the sum of N15million or else the nude video will be posted on social media. I pleaded that I will pay the sum of N1million and pleaded that I needed to sell a property to raise a million naira. They sent me another message that I should pay the sum of N5 million. They threatened not to accept anything less.
After six days, on the 14th of September, 2021, I was alerted that my nude video have been posted on Facebook. They tagged members of the State House of Assembly, present and former State Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen and former Chief of Staff to Governor, Rt. Hon. Talford Ongolo,” he said.
He added the nude video allegedly released by the accused has caused him psychological and physical pains.
According to reports, during the proceedings on Friday, October 22, the sitting judge, Justice Isa Dashen granted Charlotte bail of N5million and a surety with landed property in the jurisdiction of the state.
