Nollywood actress, Adebimpe Oyebade better known as Mo Bimpe, has finally spoken about her upcoming marriage with colleague, Lateef Adedimeji.
It was earlier reported that the rumored lovers are set to tie the knot in December 2021, after photos of their wedding invitation surfaced online.
Bimpe who spoke about her relationship with Lateef in an interview with Naija Society News, confirmed that there’s a chemistry them and they will be officially getting hitched in a month time, December.
Addressing speculations that they are getting married because she’s pregnant, the actress said,
“Well, Mo Bimpe can be pregnant tomorrow but as we speak right now, I am not pregnant. I don’t know, you know a lot of people just feel that when you are preparing for a wedding, they believe that you are doing that simply because you are pregnant. That’s the kind of society we are.
“They may think that why did he want to marry her if not pregnancy? You know how rumour mongers reason. In fact, that’s the comment I have been getting on my page. It is because she is pregnant that is why they came up with the wedding plans. For now, I am not pregnant.”

Popular Ghanaian cleric, Rev Obofour has advised his fellow pastors to divorce their wives if they are troublesome.
The cleric said this while having a conversation with junior Pastors in his church during a TV program. Rev. Obofour stated that men should divorce their wives if they are giving them trouble, because there are many pretty women out there.
He also advised wives of pastors not to entertain excuses from their husbands who always try to dodge their bedroom duties.

Shocking video of Man eating from the same plate with a chicken (Watch)
A rather bizarre video has captured the moment a man was seen sharing a plate of rice with a chicken, who also ate from the same plate.
In the video that was shared online, the man who placed his food on a bench is seen eating from the plate with a spoon while the bird perches beside the plate with its beak inside the plate, picking at the rice the man was eating.
At some point in the video, the chicken is seen going for the meat in the plate. The man is later heard saying that after the plate of rice, the hen will still eat noodles.
Some men who were gathered at the scene can be heard expressing their shock, with one saying he’s never seen a thing like that.

Singer, Martins Okechukwu Justice better known as J Martins, has warned generous people of the dangers of always granting people’s request.
The ‘touching body’ crooner in a post shared on his Instagram page, noted that a person who gives money to everyone with a touching story will sooner or later become the one with a touching story.
He advised that people should be wise in rendering help to people, adding that they owe nobody nothing.

A viral video of a woman fighting a girl in a restaurant has elicited split opinions on social media
In the video, the woman, who had an African Accent, can be heard telling the school girl standing in front of her that she is young enough to be her child.
The woman said ;
“You’re not older than my daughter. This is how you behave outside?'”
The young girl then responded and asked the woman to stop talking down on her because she is not her parent.
“Stop shouting in my face,” the girl says.
The woman deemed the girl’s response disrespectful and things got out of hand as the verbal altercation turned physical.

“This reflects the supreme will of the Almighty God” – Anambra State Governor-elect, Soludo speaks
Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has reacted to his victory in the Anambra State governorship election.
Soludo, who was governor of the central bank of Nigeria between 2004 and 2009, was declared the winner by INEC after he won 19 of the 21 local governments areas including Ihiala LGA.
While giving his acceptance speech on Wednesday morning, Soludo credited the results to the will of God.
In his words ;
“Let me say that with utmost humility and gratitude to God, I accept the result of the 2021 Anambra governorship election, as declared by INEC. And this reflects the supreme will of the Almighty God and the overwhelming sacred mandate of the people.”

Former Nigerian reality TV star, Lucy Edet has vowed to never again put her trust in humanity after it recently cost her N500k.

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church in Lagos, has taken to his social media page to mourn the demise of his wife, Nomthi, who died on November 9 following a 2-year battle with cancer.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Pastor Odukoya said Nomthi gave him 11 beautiful years of marriage and two boys.
He wrote;
With deep regret and gratitude to God, I have to announce the passing of my wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
She battled cancer for the better part of two years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life.
I loved her with all my heart, but who am I to fight with the will of God.
The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Nomthi”
Lady left shocked after caterer she hired hid fried meat and fish meant for her guests with the intention of taking them home (Video)
A Nigerian woman was left stunned after she discovered that the caterer she’d contracted to cater for an event, hid some fried meat and fish meant for her guests with the intention of taking the proteins home.
The incident is reported to have happened in Akure, the capital of Ondo state last weekend. The said lady hosted an event where she hired a caterer.
While the party was going on, the caterer mentioned that meat and fish had finished. It was however discovered that the caterer had stashed fried meat and fish in a room and intended to take them home.

Former CBN Governor, Charles Soludo wins Anambra governorship election
Former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has been declared winner of the Anambra Governorship Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Returning Officer of the Anambra Governorship Election, Prof Florence Obi, announced the result on Wednesday morning at the INEC office in Awka, Anambra State.
The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, polled a total of112,229 votes to defeat his closest rival, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 53, 807 to emerge second.
Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate got a total of 43,285 votes to emerge the third position.
“That Charles Chukwuma Soludo of APGA, having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar announced in the early hours of Wednesday
BREAKING: Pastor Taiwo Odukoya loses wife, Nomthi Odukoya.
Pastor Nomthi Rosemary Odukoya, wife of the founder of the Fountain of Life Bible Church, Taiwo Odukoya, is dead.
Nomthi reportedly died of cancer.
According to a statement on the Church official Twitter page, she battled the deadly disease for two years.
“With deep regret and gratitude to God, we have to announce the passing of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
“She battled cancer for the better part of 2 years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
“We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God.
“The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi,” the statement added.
Pastor Taiwo lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya on December 10, 2005, as result of the Sosoliso plane crash.
In 2010, Pastor Odukoya married Rosemary Nomthi, a South African.
Filmmaker, Imoh Umoreh narrates how someone stole his idea for a movie and invited him to the premiere
Nigerian filmmaker, Imoh Umoren has narrated how someone stole his idea for a movie and still invited him to the said movie’s premiere.
Taking to Twitter, Umoren said it was after the incident he realized that people use cocaine because the audacity was definitely not from a clear head.
“Someone once stole my idea for a movie and invited me to the premiere. That was when it first occurred to me that people use cocaine,” he wrote.
Upon questions from his followers, he revealed that he had a conversation with the production team and they admitted to using his script for the movie.
According to him, he had to let it go because the people involved were more powerful than he was at the time. He however revealed that he was subsequently compensated by them.

In August 2021, the legendary footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo was officially transferred to Manchester United from Juventus following the expiry of his 2-year contract with the Italian club.
However, Ikpeba in an interview with SuperSports has questioned Ronaldo’s contribution to the United team in defence, despite the Portugal International scoring 9 goals in 12 appearances this season.
“The great managers come from the ability to get the best from your players, but if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not getting the best from these players, I feel some of the Manchester United players up front are very lazy.
“I want us to look at the game against Man City, how Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva pressed. They did not allow the defenders to start the build-up from the defence, why can’t Man Utd players do the same?
“We saw what Crystal Palace did to Manchester City, they defended very well. I always say Ronaldo is minus one for Manchester United. He can score beautiful goals, he cannot defend.
“When you look at the opposition, they defend as a team, they attack as a team, they know when to play the pressing game. Solskjaer has to be ruthless. I want to say put Ronaldo on the bench when he is not performing well”. He said.

The man who is now her boyfriend had shared a photo of a wine and said he liked the taste. According to him, when he tasted the wine, he fell in love with it and it has remained his choice wine since then.
He tweeted; ”Tasted this wine at Spur and I never looked back.”
Reacting to his tweet, Mazeni summoned courage to shoot her shot at him by recoining his exact words to suit her agenda.
She quoted his tweeted and wrote, ”I also want to taste you and never look back.”
A whole year later, the couple are now in a beautiful relationship and seem to be happy.

Big Brother Naija season 6 finalist, Cross has revealed he was arrested in South Africa for breaking curfew.
According to him, he didn’t know curfew was imposed in Capetown and no one told him about it.
He said he was picked up by law-enforcement officials and was taken to their office around 3am in the morning.
However, he was released barely one hour after being nabbed.

Nigerian man served quit notice for bringing too many girls to his rented apartment
A Nigerian man simply identified as Babajide, has reportedly been served quit notice by his landlord due to his flirtatious lifestyle.
According to a snapshot of the notice serving rounds online, the landlord ejected Babajide from his property for bringing different women to his apartment.
The notice stated that the landlord warned Babajide severally against bringing the women to his house, but all his warning fell on deaf ears.
The landlord has now given him a deadline of November ending to vacate the apartment in order to prevent more problems.
The letter reads,
“Your tenancy agreement expires November 30th and will not be renew, your act of prostitution in which several girls are brought to the apartment currently occupied by you can no longer be accepted.
Several warning have been handed over to desist from your indiscriminately sexual activity but to no avail. You are hereby given to the end of November to vacate the apartment currently occupied by you”.

Nollywood actress, Wunmi Toriola has slammed reality star, Ka3na over her post stating that most Nollywood movie producers are now brand influencers.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate had taken to her official Twitter page in the early hours of Tuesday, November 9th to attack Nollywood talents, accusing them of choosing brand influencing over making movies.
According to her, majority of them have taken a cue form Big Brother Naija stars to go into influencing, rather than make new movies.
The mother of one noted that rather than make new movies, Nollywood movie producers have opted for influencing, after Big Brother Naija housemates opened people’s eyes to the endless opportunities and money in being an influencer for brands.

A young lady identified as @naomilourdes_ on TikTok has shared a video of herself weeping uncontrollably after being dumped by her boyfriend.
It was gathered that the lady who has now deleted most of her TikTok videos, used to share loved up videos with her boyfriend and gushed over him on the platform.
Sadly, her boyfriend ended their relationship abruptly because he felt they could not work out and they were forcing the love.
“We trying to make something work that is not going to”, he said in one of their conversations.
As expected, Naomi didn’t take the breakup very well as she broke down in tears and grieved over their failed relationship.

Single mum gets emotional as she recounts how she graduated from university despite all odds
A Nigerian single mum has taken to Twitter to recount how she graduated from university despite the odds staked against her.
According to the Computer Science Graduate from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, she saw an old picture of her son she took during a class years ago and it brought tears to her eyes as she reminisced on the events that happened when she was an undergraduate.
She said she used to carry her son to class everyday and was battling a bad divorce at the same time. She added that she was also expelled during that same period because her course adviser claimed she physically assaulted him, whereas, it was because she rejected his sexual advances.
Fortunately for her, she was recalled to the university after one month of expulsion, continued her studies with her mate and has now graduated.
The woman with Twitter handle, @shyprecious, wrote,
“Saw this picture today and I was crying like a baby. Was carrying a baby to class everyday and fighting a bad divorce. While at it, I got expelled. My course adviser couldn’t get me to bed so he said that I beat him up. I was a disaster at the time. Look where I am now.”
