A new discovery regarding the messy scandal involving former Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria has come to light in the form of WhatsApp conversations between Maria and her supposed lover and another conversation between her lover and his brother-in-law.
In the chat between Maria and her supposed lover, which has a time stamp of 12 September, 2019, the said lover admits to lying about his marital status. He went on to reveal that he lied repeatedly to her to cover up his marriage. The man, at the conclusion of his message, then apologized to the reality show star over the “perfidious act”.

In the other obtained chat between the said lover and his brother-in-law and has a time stamp of 28 May, 2018, the lover reveals that he has been separated from his since January of that year.

A Ghanaian woman has cried out over her inability to find a husband because of the bad roads in her community.
According to the aggrieved woman, when prospective suitors come to her town and get on their road, they get discouraged from ever returning.
The woman who stated this in an interview with news men also stated blamed her inability to find a husband on the activities of armed robbers in the area.
According to her, the robbers depletes men of the resources they could use to marry single ladies like her.
“Because of how bad the road is, robbers keep stealing from the men who would want to marry us. So we are begging the government to come and fix the roads for us to be able to find love.” she said.

Senate rejects FG’s proposal to borrow N82 billion to buy mosquito nets
The Nigerian Senate condemned a proposal by the Federal Ministry of Health to borrow $200 million (N82,070,388,916.76) under the malaria programme to buy mosquito nets in the 2022 budget.
A member of the Senate Committee on Health, Gershom Bassey on Tuesday opposed the motion by the Ministry during the 2022 budget defence of the Federal Ministry of Health.
Bassey told the Permanent Secretary, Mahmuda Mamman that the proposal with respect to borrowing $200 million (about N82 billion at the official exchange rate of N410 to a dollar) to purchase mosquito nets was outrageous considering the amount involved.
The Committee’s condemnation was in response to the Permanent Secretary’s earlier submission of the intention to borrow the said amount for the purchase of mosquito nets. The panel further demanded the total needs of the agency to ascertain if there was a need for borrowing.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA, Faisal Shuaib, had said the $200 million was for importation and local production of mosquito nets.

Nollywood actress, Linda Osifo has revealed she has no regrets relocating from Canada to Nigeria to pursue her showbiz career.
The Edo-born thespian made this known in a recent interview with The Will. According to her, although coming to Nigeria wasn’t what she expected but she had to make a deliberate effort to stay regardless of the challenges.

“I was at a very sensitive point in my life when I left Canada for Nigeria. It was that stage of becoming a young adult. I had to pursue life. No more living on mom and dad. It was a stage where you go into the world to find out who you truly are. I had just graduated from the university and I was 22 years-old.
I just had to choose when I got the opportunity to come to Lagos to host a show. I decided to take the opportunity and see what it brings. However, coming to Nigeria was not what I expected. I have no regrets. At the level that I am now, I do not use such words like regret. I have a better understanding of what motivates me and what inspires me to make certain decisions.
I relocated to Nigeria in 2013. I made my final decision to stay through thick and thin in 2015. That was when I got my first major television break on a series. When I got my first official break, I was seen as an actor, which was an amazing feat to me. That was when I thought that I had a reason to keep pressing and keep going.”

A video of former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose assuring his wife’s son that he wouldn’t cheat in their marriage because she’s beautiful has stirred reactions online.
One of the sons of the Nigerian politician got married in an elaborate ceremony in Lagos over the weekend. However, a video from the wedding ceremony that found it’s way to the internet has got netizens talking.
In the video, Fayose is seen praying for his daughter-in-law and showering her with praises. In his speech to the newly wedded couple, Fayose in Yoruba noted that his son has no excuse to cheat in his marriage since his wife is a “full package”.
According to him, his son is lucky to have married an extremely beautiful woman so he has no excuse to be unfaithful in his marriage. He commended her white teeth, flat tummy and beautiful figure.

The reality show star held an “AskKidd” session with his Twitter followers this morning and gave them the liberty to ask any question of their choice.
A curious fan had asked the billionare’s son who recently arrived Nigerian from the UK, when he would be returning to the UK.
In response, Kiddwaya disclosed that he would be travelling soon because it seems his presence is oppressing some people.
“Very soon! Apparently I’m stealing everyone’s shine in Abuja and some people cannot come out of hiding until kiddwaya is gone”, he said.
Another fan asked what he has learnt about himself in the past year and Kiddwaya responded, saying no matter what he does in Nigeria, he would still be dragged by netizens.

Big Brother Naija star, Yusuf Garba popularly known as Yousef, has been thrown into mourning after losing his elder brother to the cold hands of death.
The reality show star took to his official Instagram page to share the disheartening news with his fans and followers.
He also disclosed that he would be taking some time off social media to mourn his brother’s demise, while stating that he would really appreciate the prayers and condolences of his followers during this trying time.
