Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemate, Saga has cleared the air about the video clip of him badmouthing Pere to Nini.
Recall that last Thursday, September 16th, Biggie showed the house a video which captured the moment Saga said ill things about his bestfriend, Pere to his love interest, Nini.
In the video which earned him a strike for microphone infringement, Saga in hush tones told Nini that Pere is forcing a friendship with him.
He called Pere untrustworthy, an instigator and fond of triggering housemates.
Speaking about the video that has since affected his relationship with Pere, in a conversation with Whitemoney and Nini, Saga explained that Biggie played the video to ruin his friendship with Pere.
According to him, he wasn’t bad mouthing Pere as the video suggests, but only rebuking him for telling the house about his intimate moment with Maria.
Nini then added that the insults they hurled at Pere during the conversation was a joke.

The Ogun State Police command has arrested a 45-year-old man, identified as Olaoluwa Jimoh, for allegedly impregnating his own biological daughter.
According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the father who reportedly has uncontrollable libido, was arrested following a complaint by his 19-year-old daughter (name withheld) at Ode Remo divisional headquarters.
The young lady revealed that she has been living with her dad for 2 years but in June 2021, he forcefully had sex with her, and since then he has raped her multiple times and even threatened to kill her if she tells anyone.
“The 19 years old victim informed the police that her mother has separated from the father long time ago, and that she has been living with her mother until about two years ago when the suspect asked her to come and be living with him. She decided to report, not minding the threat of her father, when she discovered that she got pregnant.
Upon the report, the DPO Ode Remo division, CSP Fasogbon Olayemi quickly detailed his detectives to go after the suspect and he was promptly arrested,” the statement read.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to committing the crime and claimed that he was used by the devil.
Meanwhile, the commissioner of police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for further investigation and prosecution.
Nigerian Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, has advised single folks to avoid prophecy when choosing who to marry.
The Malawi-based priest, in a post shared on his Facebook page on Saturday, September 18, shared his chat with a distraught follower who sought his advise after receiving a prophecy that his girlfriend of three years is not “the one”.
In response, Fr Ugwu warned against choosing a life partner based on a prophecy received from people, but instead people should choose their wife or husband by themselves because God doesn’t choose spouses for people.

A travel agent has been accused of scamming Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo of nearly £250,000.
The 53-year-old person who is named in Portugal as Maria Silva, also scammed the football star’s super-agent, Jorge Mendes out of more than £14,000 and former Man Utd winger, Nani out of more than £1,500.
Her wrongdoing culminated in her getting a four-year suspended prison sentence at a court in Porto, Portuguese daily Jornal de Noticias reported on Sunday.
The newspaper revealed dad-of-four Cristiano, 36, was spared having to attend her trial after she made a full confession.
The four-times Ballon D’or winner gave a statement to police after flying to Porto by private jet and meeting up with his lawyer Carlos Osorio de Castro.
Jornal de Noticias exposed the scandal about greedy Silva’s breach of the trust Cristiano placed in her by giving her his credit card details and pin codes.
The newspaper stated that the €288,000 she scammed him out of – £245,770 – corresponded to around 200 trips he never made between Portugal and other European countries as well as Europe and Africa and the US.
She reportedly carried out the fraud by getting clients to transfer cash for travel she arranged for them to her personal account instead of the business account of the travel agency she worked for.
She then billed those trips to the accounts of victims like Cristiano Ronaldo, who had given her a ‘virtual’ credit card and pin code, to “fill the hole” in her company’s accounts, the report in Jornal de Noticias said.

Over the weekend, Angel was deliberately unfriendly to her one time best friend, Cross, and even when he went on his knees to ask what the problem was she refused to tell him.
During the live eviction show on Sunday, the show host, Ebuka asked Angel about her estranged relationship with Cross and she insisted that she doesn’t want to share what he has done to wrong her.
However, Pere in a conversation with Cross claimed that Angel had opened up to him on why she stopped talking to Cross.
According to Pere, Angel told him she stopped talking to Cross because she’s scared of getting too attached to him.
“Angel told me that she’s scared of getting really attached to you because she likes you very much,” he said.
As at the time of filing this report the two; Angel and Cross have settled their differences and back to being bestfriends.

Controversial Nollywood actress, Etinosa has replied a troll who dragged her for vowing to never give birth again following the death of her dad, Engr S.O.
The mother of one took to social media yesterday, Sunday September 19th to announce the passing of her dad. The bereaved in a lengthy Instagram post mourning her father vowed never to procreate again, while questioning God if truly he’s loving.
According to her, the major cause of death is life itself, so to prevent her unborn children from the pain of loosing someone, now that she knows better, she refuse to procreate.
Her post read in part,
“Who started this weird crazy cycle of pain and misery called life? God? A loving God? What pleasure does a loving God derive from this sick twisted game?.. I am as guilty as the people who brought me into this game cos I inadvertently have brought my innocent offspring into the same game. I didn’t know better. But from now one thing is sure. I am not helping any mystical being bring more people into his game. I refuse to procreate henceforth”.
Reacting to Etinosa’s post an Instagram user dragged her, stating that she’s fond of making vows she’ll never be able to fulfill.
“She don start again, na so she advocate for celibacy then she gave birth now again this hysterectomy talks, before you know now, she don born twins join. Abeg mind who you listen to on social media…All na cruise…Meanwhile my condolence to your dad @etinosaofficial”. The lady wrote.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Pere has expressed surprise over the eviction of fellow housemate, Saskay.
The 21-year-old Adamawa state born housemate was evicted from the Big Brother house on Sunday night, September 20 after being up for possible eviction alongside four other housemates, Emmanuel, Cross, Angel and Yousef.
Speaking about Saskay’s exit from the house after the Sunday live eviction show, Pere in a conversation with Cross said he’s shocked that Angel amassed more votes than Saskay.
According to him, Saskay is more intelligent and well-coordinated than Angel who fortunately survived eviction.

Big Brother Naija star, Uriel Oputa has in a video shared on her social media page, revealed that ever since she lost weight, she’s been receiving negative comments mostly from women.
According to the reality TV star, who’s also a chef, she’s been facing quite a lot of negative comments from people over her losing weight and most of these comments are usually from fellow ladies like herself.

The housemates who were up for possible eviction initially this week were Angel, Yousef, Emmanuel, Saskay and Nini. However, Nini was able to escape after she came second in the Head of House game and used her Veto power to replace herself with Cross.

A Nigerian man has taken to his social media page to give the quite funny story of how he and his wife once had a quarrel and because of pride, he refused to eat her food.
According to him, he chose not to eat his wife’s food after they had quarrel because of the hard African man that he is but eventually swallowed his pride when hunger almost finished him.
