Popular Ghanaian singer, Gyakie has taken to social media to celebrate after completing her first degree programme at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The singer, who rose to prominence in Nigeria after her single ‘Forever’ became a hit, is said to have studied Business Administration in the Ghanaian Varsity.

Gyakie, in a series of posts she shared on her Instastory, congratulated herself on bagging the degree and successfully completing her programme.

She had revealed in an interview with Teen Vogue earlier this year, that it wasn’t easy for her to juggle her music career and school.

Popular comedian and actor, Craze Clown has taken to social media to share his encounter with an employee of a Lekki hospital.

The comedian, who welcomed his daughter with his girlfriend in December 2020, explained that he called the hospital on Thursday night, Sept 16, to ask if they were still working and also let them know he was bringing a toddler.

However, the person on the other hand didn’t know what he meant by a ‘toddler’, which made him decide against taking his daughter to the hospital.

According to him, he can’t trust a hospital that its staff doesn’t know what a toddler means to properly treat his child.

Following Michael’s exit from the house Whitemoney who had also developed deep feelings for Jackie B tried to shoot his shot, but she turned him down.

Jackie B was evicted last Sunday and in an interview with show host, Ebuka she revealed she would love to build whatever she and Michael had in the house.

Michael also took to her Instagram comment on section on Sunday night moments after her eviction to state that he anticipates their meeting outside the house.

“I’m thinking coffee and chocolate…get some rest, see you outside”. he wrote.

Well, it appears the lovebirds have finally met and went on a lovely dinner date last night.

Michael took to his Instagram stories to share what looked like a side view of Jackie B, moments later a video of Jackie rocking the same dress and earing as the lady whose side view Michael posted surfaced online, confirming fans guesses.

Recall that during their diary sessions on Tuesday, September 14, Biggie gave Liquorose and Saga a secret task to start a fight and ignore their love interests, Emmanuel and Nini respectively, till the next diary session, for a reward of 200 BB Tokens and 200 Abeg Naira.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, lambasted a TV reporter who asked a question he found offensive during an interview.

The politician was on Channels TV on Thursday, September 16, to speak on his defection from PDP to APC which was made public recently.

The reporter had asked if his defection to the ruling party he once heavily criticized and swore not to join, was financially related as claimed by some critics.

However, FFK felt insulted by the question and fired back at the reporter.

He said;

“I don’t expect that kind of ridiculous and absurd question from you. I have never ever lacked in finances. There have been no inducements. Politicians don’t move because of finances. If I wanted finace, I would have moved a lot sooner than today. I have struggled and I have fought over the last six years than any of the little monkeys that said what you just said to me now.

I stand proud and I stand tall. The kind of family I come from, the kind of background I have, finance is never an issue, but of course this is always the absurd narrative that people with a very small brain, with low intelligence quotient will always put out when they feel threatened and I don’t care. You can insult me from morning till night. It means nothing to me. What is important to me is my God and the fact that I am doing the right thing at the right time.

I am considerably more wealthy than most people think and I don’t need anything from anybody. I work hard, I have always worked hard and I never lacked anything good. When I was fighting the government, you didn’t talk about finances or no finances. Now that I am not fighting the government you are talking about finances or no finances. It’s an old narrative. It’s an old story particularly form Nigerians from a particular segment of society like to say about those of us that are in the elite and I am not prepared to such rubbish and I am surprised yu can ask me that kind of question.

Why don’t you go and ask a number of others that same question when they defect. It’s a very insulting question and no basis to it whatsoever”

American singer, Kelly Rowland is currently trending in South Africa after she gave an epic response to South African media personality, Anele Mdoda, who made an unflattering comment about her.

It all started in 2019 when Anele insinuated that Kelly Rowland doesn’t look good without makeup. According to her, the music star looks horrendous without makeup and she has picture proofs.

She had tweeted, “Kelly looks amazing with make-up. Take that make-up off then it’s tickets. I have receipts.”

Kelly didn’t react to the tweet at the time, however netizens kept on referring to Anele’s comment whenever the singer posts a picture on Twitter, with most expressing disbelief that Anele thinks Kelly is ugly.

Ex-Beauty Queen, Precious Chikwendu, has dropped a subtle shade just hours after her ex-husband and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, joined the All Progressives Congress.

FFK, who was formerly with the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, officially defected to APC and was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday, September 16.

The politician had in the past condemned APC and said he would rather die than join the party. However, he is already singing a different tune as he claims that APC has changed from the party he used to criticize.

He also claimed that he was led by the “spirit” to defect to the President’s official party.

In an apparent reaction to the drama and controversy surrounding FFK’s decision, his ex-wife, Precious, shared a shade post on her Instastory.

A US-Based chemist from Kano state, Fahad Ibrahim Dandladi, has called out Aliko Dangote’s son-in-law, Jamil Abubakar, for using the word “Baba God” to describe God.

Jamil had on Wednesday, September 15, taken to Twitter to lay curses on those who swore with a Bible or Quran to uphold the constitution and serve the interest of Nigerians but has failed to do so. However, he addressed the tweet to “Baba God” which means Father.

The Texas-based chemist took offence with the tweet and called out Jamil for calling God “Father” when he is a practicing muslim from Zamfara state and also married to a Kano woman.

He further added that this is more reason why muslim parents should enrol their children in Islamic schools, so they would learn about the religion.

He wrote on Facebook,

“This is one reason why we should make sure our children are attending Islamic schools, in addition to western edu. Linda who in 2018 confirmed that Delta state oil magnate, Sholaye Jeremi, is the father of her son, Jayce recently yanked off his name from their son’s name.

At the time Linda named her son after Jeremi and revealed he would be called Jayce Jeremi.

Sharing a photo of herself leaving the hospital days after she delivered her child she wrote, “Going home with my prince. Beginning of the best years of my life, his name is Jayce by the way, Jayce Jeremi.”

In a recent development Linda Ikeji has now changed Jayce surname from Jeremi to Ikeji.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Liquorose had a romantic dinner with love interest, Emmanuel, and they had a good time while having a heart-to-heart conversation on what their sex life would look like.

Recall that the lovebirds were rewarded with the dinner date because of the successful prank Liquorose carried out on Emmanuel.

Loverboy, Emmanuel asked the LR the number of times she has ever made love to him in her head.

“How many times have you made love to me in your head,” he asked.

“Once! and that was today, just before I was called into the diary room; even though I have kissed you many times in my head,” Liquorose replied.

LR added that she is not a s*xually active person and might be with him without making love to him for four months.
