This Sunday evening saw the eviction of Shine Ya Eye housemate, Saskay who shared that she was already tired of the BBNaija reality show before she was eventually evicted from the reality TV show.

Following her eviction, the lovely graced the live show stage to talk with the show’s host, Ebuka-Obi Uchendu where she disclosed that she was fed up with all that had been happening in the house and wanted to leave as soon as possible.

Talking about her love interest, Jaypaul, the dark-skinned beauty revealed that she can’t tell if their relationship will continue outside the house or not.

Alongside 11 other housemates, Saskay stayed for more than two months in the Big Brother house but sadly her time on the reality TV show came to an end as her fans were unable to keep her in the Big Brother house.

With her eviction, only 9 housemates are left to vie for the grand prize of 90 million on the reality TV show and in no more than 2-3 weeks, the winner of the sixth edition of the show will be announced.

Big Brother Naija: Shine Ya Eye housemate, Angel, was one of five housemates who were up for eviction this week but following the Sunday live eviction show, it’s apparent that her stay in the Big Brother house has been extended.

The Sunday live eviction show saw the removal of housemates, Yousef and Saskay after they emerged as the housemates with the least votes who were up for eviction during the week.

Following their eviction, housemate Angel is seen discussing with Queen on how she’s so excited to have survived another week of eviction and how She’s surprised that viewers have been voting for her since she’s been facing eviction.

The 21-year-old is then heard crediting her father who she earlier revealed as her social media handler, saying the gentleman, who is a PR expert, is actually doing a good job in keeping her in the Big Brother house.

With excitement and a bright smile on her face, the lovely credits her dad for his efforts in prolonging her stay in the house.

Following Yousef’s exit, viewers were made to know that there would be a second eviction and unfortunately for fans of Saskay, the lovely lady was announced as the second housemate to leave the Big Brother Naija house for the night.

#BBNaija: Yousef has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija house

With only 11 housemates left in the Big Brother house and only a few weeks left for the sixth season of the reality TV show, 5 out of this 11 were up for possible eviction this week but an announcement moments ago by the show’s host, Ebuka revealed that Yousef will no longer be a part of the show.

The housemates who were up for possible eviction initially this week were Angel, Yousef, Emmanuel, Saskay and Nini however, Nini was able to escape after she came second in the Head of House game and used her Veto power to replace herself with Cross.

Ebuka announced earlier this evening that housemate, Yousef has been evicted from the show and will no longer be able to vie for the grand prize at the end of the reality TV show.

Following Yousef’s eviction, only 10 housemates are left in the house for now and one out of these 12 will eventually cop the grand prize worth 90 million Naira in a few weeks.

Some fans and viewers of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show have commended Whitemoney after he disclosed that he made a pillow demarcation between himself and Queen after the Saturday night party.

We earlier reported that Queen and Whitemoney shared a passionate kiss during yesterday’s party making fans feel there’s a romantic spark between the duo.

However, it appears that Whitemoney is looking to avoid further temptations, as according to him, he had to construct a barricade with a pillow between himself and Queen who slept on the same bed.

Whitemoney is heard telling Queen about the tactics he employed last night, but she noted that she didn’t notice it because she was fast asleep.

Big Brother Africa star, Tayo Faniran has come for people who he says are always calling him local because he chose to remain hardcore Yoruba.

The model and actor revealed that he has been living and working outside the country with foreign nationals for almost 12 years, and also wondered why he would want to change who he is when his originality has always been what opened doors for him.

Tayo stated that he stands out where he goes and get people interested in knowing where he is from.

Oluchi Madubuike, has emerged winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN)2021.

The beauty contest held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

37 women contested for the crown but Oluchi Madubuike (Miss Abuja) was crowned winner. She will be representing Nigeria at the 2021 Miss World pageant which will take place in Puerto Rico on Dec 16, 2021.

The first runner-up is Miss Anambra, Maristella Okpala. She will represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Abia, Adaeze Chineme, is the second runner up and will represent Nigeria at Miss Supranational.

Miss Bayelsa, Mercy Jessica Odjugo, is the third runner-up. She is MBGN Tourism.

Miss Bauchi, Lydia Okojie, the fourth runner-up, is MBGN ECOWAS.

Police arrest man who tried committing suicide in Lagos

The Nigerian Police Command in Lagos saved the life of a middle-aged man who attempted to commit suicide in the metropolis recently.

According to a statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Adekunle Ajiswlebuyu, the incident occurred at around 9:25am of 15th September, 2021 when one Akinlolu Ajayi, 54, a staff member of LSDPC Town Planning, Ilupeju, resident at No.1, Owodunni Street, Oworonsoki was seen on the Third Mainland Bridge trying to jump into the lagoon at the UNILAG waterfront.

“Pronto, the anti-crime patrol team of the Bariga Police Division on a routine patrol of the area, immediately rescued the man and took him into protective custody.”

The Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, having directed that the man’s family should be contacted for necessary action, appeals to members of the public not to take their own lives no matter the challenges they are currently facing. According to the CP, such challenges are merely ephemeral. The Police boss further warns that such condemnable act is not only morally wrong but is also criminal.”

Ajisebutu added that the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for investigation and subsequent prosecution.

Nigerian actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has said that her being born again has nothing to do with her inner craze.

The actress gave the comment in a recent post on her verified Instagram page on Saturday, 18th of September 2021 where she also addressed rumour peddlers who claim that she sponsors a controversial Nigerian blogger.

The actress wrote,

“I don’t know if I speak bad English or I am ignorant about how bad my English is.

I said it earlier. I don’t know gistlover. I am an ‘amebo’ just like you. Just that I have shame now. So all these verified accounts hiding behind the fakes accusing me of fueling gistlover or being a team, you a fool or what?

A Nigerian content creator, @omowumi__ on Instagram asked her followers to share the craziest thing they did after breaking up with their partners.

@omowumi__ asked both ladies and gentlemen to share their experiences and made separate posts for each of them and while most of the stories shared were indeed crazy, the story of one 35 year old Ifeanyi seemed to stand out as the craziest of the crazies.

Ifeanyi, in his story, revealed that he was already engaged with his then partner but she called off their engagement because of his height. According to him, he’d proposed marriage to her and she said yes, only for him to wake up one day to a lengthy message from her telling him why they can’t get married.

He shared that the lady gave the excuse of the both of them being short and as such, she didn’t want to give birth to dwarf kids — as compensation for his heartbreak, Ifeanyi revealed that he hired kidnappers to abduct her father and collected a handsome ransom.

Here’s what he wrote,

I was already engaged with Tinu before she told me she wasnt interested anymore because of my heaight. We started dating at 100 level in the university, I proposed 7 years later and she said yes. Only for me to wake up to a long message from her telling me that the marriage cannot work because we are both short and she doesn’t want to give birth to dwarves. After begging her for so long, she refused to change her mind.

The follow week, I entered Mushin to pick two hefty boys and gave them 10k each to help me kidnap her father. They took him to an unknown location before I called the family to demand a ransom of 10 million naira. That was money for the gifts, time wasted, heartbreak, and the shame she brought upon me. I ended up collecting 5 million naira which wasn’t bad actually.

Nigerian Singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has lifted the suspension of his logistics manager, Israel Afeare, popularly known as Isreal DMW over gross misconduct on social media.

Some months ago, David suspended Israel seemingly because of his incessant display of perceived nuisance on social media.

One infamous display from Israel was supporting the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari following the order for the FBI to arrest him for working with Hushpupi, an online fraudster.

Israel has however come to his senses and after weeks of apologizing to his Principal, he’s now been forgiven and reinstated into his role as PA.

This is coming days after Cross revealed to Queen that he would like to be her man other than to be with Angel who acts ‘like a baby.’

Angel did not like that remark and she decided not to talk to him again. Cross noticed and took to his knees to plead while seeking to know how he went wrong with her.

“What did I do wrong, please tell me. You’ve been avoiding me and have not spoken to me.

“You know we are both up for eviction and there’s a possibility that either one of us or both us will be evicted on Sunday,” Cross told Angel.

Veteran singer, Black Face, has revealed that he has never received an award for his songs and contributions to the entertainment industry.

Black Face, in a recent interview with Chude Jidonwo, spoke about the lack of support he has received from the media and the Nigerian music industry.

According to him, he was blacklisted and no media house wants to be associated with him.

The former member of defunct music group, Plantashun Boiz, also addressed claims of being jealous of his colleague, Tuface Idibia.

He stated that right from when they were growing up, Tubaba as he is fondly called, was everyone’s favourite, but he wasn’t jealous of him.

He added that people are bound to have issues with each other but it doesn’t mean the conflict is out of jealousy, noting that he and Tuface are still friends.

2baba Idibia has released a loved-up photo with wife, Annie Idibia, while acknowledging that he makes mistakes.

The singer was called out by his wife weeks back. She also called out his family and his children’s mothers.

Annie accused Tuface of sleeping under the same roof with one of his other children’s mothers, Pero Adeniyi.

This accusation led to a bitter online battle between Annie and Tuface’s family, with Tuface’s brother, Charles Idibia, and his wife hitting back at Annie and insulting her mother (read here).

Annie’s brothers then weighed in, slamming the Idibias for insulting their mother.

The veteran singer responded days later, asking the public to allow them resolve their issues privately.

Today, being his birthday, Tuface, who turns 46, released a photo of him kissing Annie.

He wrote in the caption:

Former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Boma has lambasted a married lady who slid to his DM to troll him while he was still the house.

It can be recalled that while Boma was in the Big Brother house, his actions, especially his romantic relationship with married housemate, Tega, stirred controversy on social media.

Viewers took to different social media platforms to drag him and rebuked him for his affair with Tega. One of the many people who slammed Boma for his actions in the house was a married lady who slid to his DM to slam him.

Following screenshots from their chat which is now serving rounds online, the married lady on September 6th sent him a private message where she replied to one of his Instagram story. She had written “Buhhhaha get out”. This came a day after his eviction from the Big Brother Naija House.

Well, weeks later, Boma who wouldn’t let the negative comment slide, replied the lady, lambasting her, calling her unprintable names.

Boma hurled heavy insults at the lady, referring to her as the ugliest creature on the planet and a HIV patient.

Carried away with the sweetness of the Ice-cream and forgetting he was in public, the actor used his fingers to clean the cup and passionately licked his fingers afterwards.

On seeing him Rita Edochie scolded and him and landed him multiple slaps for his bad table manners.

Chief Imo who shared the video on his Instagram page noted that he totally forgot he was in public and thanked the actress for the slap which made him aware of his environment.

“I forgot that we were in the public….::::: my village people just embarrassed me! 😂😂🤣 Thanks for reminding me mummy yo!” He captioned the video.
