#TECNOxBBNaija: Another Task Day with Phantom X, Lights, Camera, Action!
It was yet another Thursday games night on the BBNaija Season 6 show with TECNO and it was a very creative one. As you know, TECNO has been on the Season 6 journey with the housemates since it began and they have not disappointed. With the TECNO Phantom X dolling out incredible pictures of the housemates, who wouldn’t want them to be part of something huge.
As always, the Head of House read the instructions of the task to the housemates and they were excited by what they heard. The task was very unique to the brand as the star of the show was the TECNO Phantom X. The housemates were to create a colorful, exciting and engaging product story with the Phantom X as the main focus.
To achieve the day’s task, the housemates were divided into 4 groups beginning with the Unique Letter X. They were grouped into:
The task was in two-folds, photos and videos. The Phantom X smartphone was used as props during the shoot and also as the main tool, with the housemates adding a bit of flavor to the mix.
Dressed in their assigned costumes the housemates were tasked to create an exciting product story that reflected the themes of their costumes, while spotlighting the features of the device. It was really beautiful to see the contestants tap into their inner creativity and create beautiful videos with the TECNO Phantom X.
Once done with the videos, the teams settled in to edit their video footages and images into one major product video per team, after which they had to wait painstakingly as their fates were decided.
After much deliberation, Team Xcellent claimed the victory, as the best team to create colorful and engaging videos with the TECNO Phantom X. And their reward was a cool whopping sum of 1.5million Naira to be shared among the winners. With all the work they put in, they deserved to be rewarded.
But the excitement was not done with yet. TECNO had another surprise up their sleeves for their online audience. Fans were asked to vote for the housemate deserving of the title of ‘TECNO Phantom Star’. At the end of the voting period, the housemates with the highest votes, Whitemoney and Liquorose, were rewarded with the sum of 200,000 Naira each. It was truly a night of rewards for creative talents.
It was an all-out fun time with the task and we can’t wait to see what Big Brother will throw at us on subsequent task days.

Popular Nigerian singer and philanthropist, Florence Otedola otherwise known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed she feeds about 70,000 children on a daily basis in Borno State.
Cuppy who was recently appointed by the Lagos State Government as one of the ambassadors of the Lagos SDGs Youth Alliance network, made this revelation in an interview with TVC.
According to her she puts her resources into helping the needy, especially children because she believes they are the leaders of tomorrow.
Speaking on her new appointment, she said,
“On a daily basis, we feed about 70,000 children in Borno State and this is something that I do because I believe in tomorrow’s leaders. So, I’m not here as a celebrity but a humanitarian.
“This project is about asking young people what our struggles are. Youth will also be able to give feedback on how they think the government is doing and how they can improve.
“As we all know that young people are tomorrow’s leaders. I want to use this platform to encourage young people that education is great and knowledge is power”.

Vera Sidika reveals why she has chosen to give birth in Kenya and not in US
Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika has revealed why she has decided to give birth in her home country, Kenya, instead of US.
The socialite, who is currently 8 months pregnant, disclosed that she considered travelling to the US for her delivery since she still has a valid US Visa but changed her mind and decided to stay back in Kenya.
According to Sidika, she couldn’t handle the thought of staying away from her family and friends for 4-6 months. She added that every pregnant woman needs all the love and affection she can get during her pregnancy journey.
Taking to her Instastory, she wrote,
“I almost travelled to give birth in USA. Since my 5 years Visa is valid. But this Covid pandemic isn’t fun. Then again, we couldn’t handle the idea of being Away from family and friends during my pregnancy for 4-6 months.
While pregnant. You need all the love, affection from friends, family. On a regular.
Being in a foreign country where everyone is super busy, working 2 or more jobs to even have time for you. Can be every depressing. Especially in this pandemic. You all just end up alone while everyone’s at work. I made the right decision and I have enjoyed my pregnancy journey. Nothing beats Home”
The heavily pregnant socialite also revealed that she doesn’t feel pregnant because she has not felt any morning sickness or discomfort like other pregnant women.
According to her, the only changes she has had is that her belly got bigger and there’s a little human kicking nonstop.

According to him, he’s not a jealous, selfish nor a greedy person, so he would have gladly shared the secret to winning the grand prize with other housemates, if he had it because he likes to see everyone win.
In other news, former Big Brother Naija: shine ya eye housemate, Michael has described Whitemoney has the most strategic housemate.
Michael in an interview with the show host, Ebuka noted that fellow housemate, Pere who first called Whitemoney out for his alleged strategy, was right all along.
According to him, like Pere had pointed out, Whitemoney “found a way to insert himself into key component of the function of the house.”
He said that he is not sure if Whitemoney is being consciously strategic but he’s playing his game well.

Nigerian human right activist and writer, Reno Omokri has opined that poverty is why many Nigerians are religious and churchy.
According to him, when these people relocate abroad and become a part of a system that works they lose their religiosity.
Reno stated this in a post he shared on his social media pages, while asserting that poverty alters one’s perspective.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has shared his thoughts on BBNaija season 6 housemate, Whitemoney, looking away as his fellow housemate, Angel, purposely flashed her vagina.
It can be recalled that Angel recently trended on social media for the wrong reasons after she deliberately flaunted her private part on camera.
The incident occurred in the presence of Queen and Whitemoney, which Queen reprimanded her immediately while Whitemoney simply looked away and said Angel is a marketer who is trying to sell her market. Watch the video here.

BBNaija: Shine Ya housemate, Angel has explained why she played the Head of House game without enthusiasm on Monday, September 13.
Before the games, the 21-year-old housemate was nominated for possible eviction however, she had a chance of saving herself by winning the Head of House game or coming behind as the second runner up and be vested with the veto power to save and replace herself with another housemate.
However, during the games, Angel acted nonchalantly like she didn’t care about winning the game. Although the challenge is a game of luck, the housemates are expected to run with speed and agility but Angel walked majestically with her hands in her pocket.
This didn’t sit right with viewers of the show as she was bashed online for not putting any effort into the game. According to viewers, she should have at least tried to save herself inside the house as this would motivate viewers to vote for her.

A Nigerian man took to his LinkedIn page recently to share a really lovely story of how he and his current partner met some 8 years ago but after about two years of being friends, he finally summoned the courage to ask her out.
Sharing lovely before and after photos of themselves, the gentleman identified as Bayo Lawal wrote,
It was a sunny day in 2013, I had gone to church to seek God’s face for direction when I saw a beautiful lady on a white dress walking into the church auditorium wearing a white dress, my heart skipped a beat, smiled and thought “This must be an angel” . Few weeks after she was back again to worship and being the fellowship leader of the chapel, I was too serious but not too busy to notice the beauty of this angel. Then she walked up to me & said “I would love to join the workforce” worker”…. “Oh really” I smiled & responded “you are welcome”
I picked interest in her while I was training her group but i wasn’t thinking of any serious affair because at that time I was only thinking of graduating with a first class but yet I was distracted by the beauty & candor of the angel amongst men. I decided I was going to be her friend, I found her to be very calm & cool. So we started rolling together as friends, I was always looking forward to seeing her in the fellowship where we spent quality in presence of God with our minds connected to each other.
Each time I am with her I feel peace and love, so I said to myself one day, ‘I think God sent this angel to me’.. I asked God in prayers and he confirmed the she was mine anddddd so I grabbed it 🤩.
12th of November 2016 was her birthday so I went to her hostel very early that morning with a love note hidden in a book I bought for her as her birthday gift. I think I was shy to ask her out, but I sha did 🤩🤩. Few days after I was expecting an answer but it was as if she didn’t open the book, I was shocked 😳. I waited for months and didn’t get a reply. Hmmmmmmm it was one very long WAIT.
Finally on the 1st of January 2017, after cross over service I received one of the best message of my life from guess who? The very angel God sent to me, it read : “yes I will be your partner, yes I will be your lover, yes I will be your wife, I want to spend the rest of my life with you” .. OH BOY It was a day of celebration!!!

“Women are very easy to deceive” — Man narrates how he uses a fake name on Facebook to lure and kidnap women (video)
The Nigeria Police Force has arrested a man who uses a fake name on Facebook to lure women and then kidnap them for a ransom.
The suspected online kidnapper, who gave his name as Sadiq Abubakar, was recently paraded by the Police Force and revealed how he perpetrates the crime.
According to the Kogi-born man, he uses the name “Samuel Johnson” to deceive ladies on the popular social networking platform.
His words, “Sometimes they (the women) do send online request and sometimes I do send them friend request, We become friends. I invite them and from there I capture them and ask for a ransom. So that is what I do.”
Speaking further, the suspect said ladies are very easy to deceive and they need to be vigilant and trust no one.
“My advice to young women out there is that they should be careful., trust nobody. Women are very easy to deceive. They should be careful and very sensitive,” he added

A Nigerian lady has warned against the use of contact of lenses after she lost one of her eyes due to it’s usage.
The beautiful young lady in a video that was shared on social media revealed that she was a lover of contact lens until the unfortunate experience that left her with one eye.
According to her, the contacts made her lose the ability to see with her right eye and can only see with the left eye presently.
She revealed she has spent a lot of money in a bid to correct her damaged eye, but to no avail.
