Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria recently expressed her displeasure with her co-housemate, Angel, for flirting with Jackie B’s love interest, Michael.
Commenting on the issue, Facebook user, Margaret Ikedinma opined that Maria is just jealous because Angel gets most of the male attention.
You would recall that Maria in her intro-video, had stated that she’d make the guys in the house fall in love with her, so it may seem as though Angel is a big barrier in achieving that goal.

BBNaija Ex-housemate, KayVee, has officially issued a statement following his withdrawal from the ongoing reality TV show.
KayVee in a statement released on his Instagram page this evening, said that he wanted to stay on the show till the end but certain events escalated the anxiety he felt in the house and this impacted his disposition. He said he is currently in a medical facility where he is working through the debilitating anxiety.

Comrade Danlad Sunday Oladele, the pioneer president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has died just two weeks after winning a battle to get YABATECH to release his certificate.
According to Senator Dino Melaye, Oladele’s certificate was withheld by the management of YabaTech as a punitive measure over his activism during his days in the college.
In 1980, Oladele, alongside a few others, led the rebirth of the students’ movement from the proscribed National Union of Nigerian Students after the military government of Olusegun Obasanjo had, during the “Ali Must Go struggle” led by Olusegun Okeowo, banned student unionism, which was firmly organized under NUNS.
Oladele was said to have led others, and they regrouped, wrote a new constitution and in 1980, founded NANS.
Oladele’s activism however, “later earned him and most of his colleagues varying consequences such as expulsion, rustication and withholding of their certificates,” Melaye said.
Oladele fought YABATECH for 41 years to get his certificate and, with the intervention of the Senate Committee, the management of YABATECH agreed to present him with his certificate at their next convocation but unfortunately, he died two weeks after.
Olalekan, the son of the deceased, told newsmen that his father was in high spirits and was looking forward to the convocation ceremony but died before then. He added that his father died doing what he loved best, which is fighting for the masses, and he had no regrets.
A Nigerian woman, Chinju Nwankwo Udora has revealed that she once boarded a flight and showed up unannounced at her lover’s office in Lagos because he wasn’t picking her phone calls.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Angel’s father has reacted after his daughter was accused of flirting with her friend, Jacki B’s man, Michael.
Recall that fellow housemate, Maria during her diary session on Wednesday, August 18 accused Angel of breaking ‘girls code’ and flirting with a man who her best friend already showed interest in.
When Biggie asked if she thinks Michael should be blamed for not defining his relationship with Jackie B, Maria made excuse for him saying “boys will always be boys”.
Angel’s dad who she claims is her Instagram handler has now reacted and berated people who make excuses for men and would rather blame the woman.
In a lengthy Instagram post, her dad wrote,
“We live in a patriarchal society where men aren’t held accountable for their actions in the name of “men will be men” who made the rules? Because it’s a shitty rule, women aren’t object of blame, a woman shouldn’t be slut-shamed while the guy gets away with ‘you know how boys are’.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Saga has revealed that he and his love interest, Nini, have been having some “under the duvet” action.
Saga, in his diary session on Tuesday, August 17, told Biggie about his friendship with the 27-year-old Edo born housemate, and how he feels about her response to the show host, Ebuka, during the Sunday live eviction show.
Ebuka had asked about her relationship with him but she waved the question, saying she has a boyfriend outside the house and that they are just friends.
Saga, who was seemingly not comfortable with her response, told Biggie that he is a little bit confused about their friendship because they have being doing things under the duvet.

A 36-year-old banker with a first generation bank, identified as Adeyemi Tosin, has been arrested for allegedly siphoning N10 million from the bank account of a septuagenarian, Oladele Adida Quadri, in Oyo state.
According to the Spokesperson of the Oyo State Police Command, DSP Adewale Osifeso, who confirmed this in a statement released on Tuesday, August 17, the bank account of the 78-year-old victim domiciled at Challenge, Ibadan branch of the bank was drained between August 12 and 13.
It was gathered that the victim’s woes started when his ATM card got trapped in the ATM Machine after a failed transition at the Challenge branch in Ibadan, on July 12.
Pa Quadri was said to have approached the banker for assistance at the banking hall, which made him divulge his account details to him in good faith.
However, the suspect opened a virtual account with another bank where the victim’s money was lodged, with the intention to gradually withdraw money from the victim’s account.
Meanwhile, the case is still under investigation as the police is making effort to crack down on the criminal network and other accomplice.

In other news, Jason Njoku has said that school fees of 4.6 million Naira is cheap and he pays more for his 3-year-old’s Montessori school.
A Twitter user with handle @ugodre had taken to the platform to share a photo of the provisional bill for a school in Epe, Lagos State, with school fees of 4,643, 901 Naira.
The man noted that the school is great but questioned if the exorbitant fee is actually worth it.
Reacting to the post, Jason Njoku, who has 3 children, said the N4.6 million naira fee is super cheap for a boarding school and he pays way more for his kid.
He wrote,
“Most Nigerians don’t realize but most things in Nigeria are actually super cheap by African (forget global standards). For Tier 1 education in Africa (forget about globally) this for boarding school is cheap. I pay more for my 3-year old’s montessori school.”
An Edo vigilante group have nabbed two self-acclaimed police officers while they were allegedly selling weed, locally known as “loud”, in the state.
A video which captures the moment they were accosted is currently making rounds on social media. The men who claimed to be police officers were seen in handcuffs while officials of the vigilante group searched their belongings.
The officials found weed and some items said to be used in their illicit business in a bag and their car. The police officers, however, pleaded with those who caught them to treat them gently because they don’t rough-handle criminals at their police station.

Femi who was arrested by detectives from the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is said to be the kingpin of a syndicate that specializes in hacking into the servers of banks and corporate agencies.

A Nigerian man, identified as Oke Adebomi, has been arrested by officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for defiling a four-year-old girl in Ondo state.
In a video circulating online, the NSCDC head in the state narrated how the young man carried out the barbaric act. The suspect also confessed to the crime and narrated how he defiled the minor.
The NSCDC head said,
“The mother wasn’t around. He lured her into his room and then had s*x with her. When the mother came, she was looking for her daughter and was calling her name. Only for her to discover the girl came out of the suspect’s room. She took the girl to her room and she checked her very well and she said she saw sperm around her private part. This made her raise alarm and we were alerted and we came in.
He was arrested and he has also confessed to the crime.”

Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemate, Pere has revealed why he always seem to have a problem with fellow housemate, Whitemoney.
Pere during his diary session with Big Brother on Tuesday, August 17 while speaking about his clash with Whitemoney, described him as someone with too much negative energy.
Pere noted that he thinks the 29-year-old businessman is fake, “I believe WhiteMoney is faking a lot of things, he has too much negative energy”, He said.
Explaining what led to the fight on Monday night, he said,
“It’s called a whispering game and a couple of things that were being whispered were very demeaning. Very disrespectful things. When it came to my turn, I kind of wanted to know what was being said. Because when he whispered to Angel, and she whispered to Emmanuel. They didn’t want to tell me what he said… so I stopped playing the game because I insisted on knowing what was whispered.”
A Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage reportedly captured one of the suspects linked to the murder and rape of late University of Ilorin student, Olajide Blessing, withdrawing money from her bank account.
It can be recalled that the deceased, Olajide Omowumi Blessing was brutally raped and murdered at her sister’s residence in Tanke area of the Ilorin, Kwara State.
She was found naked with her two hands tied to the back and mouth gagged on Tuesday, June 1.
A pathologist at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Dr. Kayode Adeniyi told the court that the autopsy confirmed that she was raped and strangled to death.
Eight prime suspects were arrested by DSS in connection with Blessing’s murder and rape and first appeared before Justice I.A. Jusuf on Wednesday, June 30.
A staff of the bank, Babatunji Lawal, who testified in court on Tuesday stated that the man captured in the CCTV footage withdrawing money from the deceased’s account is the 6th defendant, Abdullateef Abdulrahman.
According to Lawal, aside from the ATM instance, the suspect further used a Microfinance bank app to also withdraw money from late Blessing’s account amounting to N50,000.
“The bank CCTV captured the suspect while withdrawing the money from the ATM while putting on a head warner in the process. Withdrawals through the ATM and a Microfinance bank application amounted to N50,000 including bank charges,” Lawal said.
Nigerian-British singer, Sade Adu’s transgender son, Izaak Theo Adu has reacted after a troll lambasted him for transitioning from female to male.
