The Twitter user who reacted to a photo of the reality show star being carried by her co-star, Kiddwaya, had asked if her Yeezy sneakers is the “original Kanye version” or from an “Instagram vendor”.
Lilo however would not be disrespected by the ‘ordinary Twitter user’ and she replied with a receipt of the item which showed that it cost over a thousand dollars.
Nigeria has finally gotten its first medal at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after Ese Brume won a bronze medal in the women’s long jump event in the early hours of Tuesday, August 3.

According to Gideon, his cousin known as Elvis Okafor, only went out to buy medicine for his sick mother, so it came as a shock when he didn’t return and few days later, he was paraded as an ESN Member.

Nigerian socialite, Mompha has denied some reports online claiming that he said EFCC officers told him to maintain a low profile following the arrest of his counterpart, Hushpuppi.
He released a statement on his IG page saying he never made such a comment. Mompha who is also being tried by the antigraft agency in Nigeria, denied claims that he is a fraudster adding that he does not in any way associate with fraudsters.

A fresh graduate of Yaba College of Technology has tragically lost his life after he was stabbed during his sign out celebration.
Victor Moore Osatuyi, a higher National Diploma 2 civil engineering student, had gone out to celebrate with friends after their last exams when he was stabbed.
The fresh graduate had joined his colleagues to celebrate at a lounge on July 28 after their exams. However, a fight broke out in the lounge and Victor was injured.
The father-of-one was rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctors tried unsuccessfully to save him before they pronounced him dead.
Victor was buried on July 30. Students of Yabatech have scheduled a candlelight event in his honor to hold today, August 3.

A total of three people —a mother, her daughter and a motorcyclist— were killed after a truck rammed into a building at Imepe area of Ijebu Ode, Ogun state.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday afternoon, August 2nd, when the driver of a Mack Truck fully loaded with granite reported to be travelling from Ago-Iwoye, lost control of the vehicle due to overspeeding.
The ill-fated vehicle is reported to have rammed into a building where the deceased were standing. The driver of the truck and his motor boy were said to have dashed away from the scene for fear of being attacked by an angry mob.
According to the Public Relations the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), the vehicle as at the time of filing this report has been evacuated to Obalende Divisional Police Headquarters in the town, while the bodies of the victims were deposited at the morgue of the General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode.
TRACE enjoined truck drivers and other motorists to avoid overspeeding and reckless driving in view of its attendant consequences.

Stunning Nollywood actress, Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama and her husband have welcomed their second child.
The lovely actress took to her official Instagram page on Monday, August 2, to share a photo of the newborn in a romper with the inscription “worth the wait“.

Somkele and her hussy got married in May of 2014 in a private civil ceremony and welcomed their first child, a boy the same year.
In November of 2020, Somkele Iyamah shared on social media that her son was diagnosed with cancer three years prior to her post at the time.
According to the actress, she received the call about her son’s cancer diagnosis at Banky W and Adesua Etomi’s white wedding in South Africa in 2017.
Somkele whose son is now cancer free, after 3 years of battling with the disease, took to her Instagram page on November 26th to share the good news. Stating that she received the news that her son beat cancer and she chose to share the news on Thanksgiving day in the US.
Sharing a touching video of her son’s cancer journey, she wrote,

In new reports, the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba has appointed DCP Tunji Disu as the new Head of the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
DCP Tunji Disu replaces embattled DCP, Abba Kyari who was suspended following a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) indictment which linked him with self-confessed fraudster, Ramon Abbas a.k.a. Hushpuppi.
The Force PRO, Frank Mba, made this known in a statement on Monday evening, August 2, 2021.
According to the statement,
“The posting of the officer is on the heels of Management’s decision to fill the leadership gap within the IRT and refocus the Unit for better service delivery.
Prior to his appointment as the new Head of the IRT, DCP Tunji Disu, a former Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Lagos State, was the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
He had also previously served at the State CID, Rivers State as the Deputy Head of the Unit. He was also a former Commander of the Nigeria Police Contingent to the African Union (AU) Peace Keeping Mission in Dafur, Sudan.”

A popular Nigerian chef, Emaka Eloagu has been reportedly found dead at his home in Abuja, yesterday 1st of August, 2021.
While the cause of his death is unknown, friends of the chef claimed he was stabbed to death by his assailants who gained access into this home, while others are saying he was killed by two persons who he granted access to his apartment where they stripped him naked, tied him up and then strangled him.
Eloagu is the creative director of Helenes Food Company, an Abuja-based brand.
It was gathered that the lifeless body of the chef was found in his apartment on Sunday.
When contacted Mariam Yusuf, FCT police spokesperson, said operatives of the force are still investigating the case to ascertain the exact cause of Eloagu’s death.
Eloagu is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Paris with a Grande Diplomé in cuisine and patisserie.
He creates a combination of French cooking methods with Nigerian cuisine and is known to have hosted prominent celebrities and politicians at his restaurant.
To mark his 35th birthday, Eloagu had launched a cookbook titled ’35 Easy Recipes For You To Cook’.
Describing himself, he once wrote: “Chef Emeka believes in the artistry of food. He believes good food connects us with people and places and is an important aspect of cultural heritage. He enjoys traveling the world, learning.”
The deceased is survived by his wife and family members.

Big Brother Naija star, Nina Ivy has revealed that she didn’t take flat tummy tea or any product that will reduce the fat in her stomach because it was precious to her.
It can be recalled that the reality show star underwent Brazilian butt lift surgery recently which involves fat transfer from her stomach to her backside to make it fuller and rounder.
Speaking about the surgery, the mum of one disclosed that she purposely didn’t work out or take slimming tea because knew she would need the fat for her surgical procedure.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Whitemoney has revealed that Maria was the first lady that caught his eyes in the big brother house.
According to him, he loved Maria’s vibe which depicts her as a strong woman, he however revealed he deliberately pulled back and killed whatever feeling he had for her the moment his instinct told him she was a wildcard.

Music Executive, Ubi Franklin has shared a voicenote he received from a social media user who told him not to beg Davido on his personal logistics’ manager, Israel DMW’s behalf.
Israel is on the edge of being fired by Davido after he declared support for embattled police officer, Abba Kyari, who was indicted as an accomplice of alleged fraudster, Hushpuppi, by the FBI.
It can be recalled that the United States Department of Justice, took to their official website on Wednesday, 28th of July, 2021, to reveal how socialite, Hushpuppi some years back, bribed Nigerian Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari to jail a fellow fraudster, identified as Vincent.
Following the report, Israel took to his Instagram page to declare that Kyari is a clean cop and has tried his best to combat armed robbery and kidnapping in Nigeria.
Taking to his Insta-stories, he wrote,
“Am fully standing with @abba Kyari. The man is a clean cop. He has fully tried and still trying in aspects of fighting wild armed robbers and kidnappers. Kindly tell me who’s a saint in dis or Nigeria”.
His open support for Abba Kyari didn’t sit well with Davido and he was immediately suspended and relieved from his duty until further notice.
Shortly after, Israel took to his Instastories to appeal to Nigerians to beg Davido on his behalf because he doesn’t want to lose his job, and he has faithfully served the singer for 9 years.
Based on this, an Instagram user slid into music executive, Ubi Franklin’s DM and told him not to beg Davido on anybody’s behalf because Israel has had his fair share of the singer’s wealth and popularity.
According to the IG user, Davido should employ another person in Israel’s stead.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Tega, who is married with a child, has continued to amaze viewers of the show with her words and actions.
The 29-year-old businesswoman from Cross Rivers state, revealed that she doesn’t have a problem with undressing and bathing in front of men.
She made this disclosure during a conversation with some housemates, after Beatrice recounted how shocked she was when Cross walked in on her while she was in the shower.

A homeless Nigerian girl with natural brown eyes and hair has become an internet sensation after she was spotted on the streets of Lagos and transformed into a sensational model.
The young girl, identified as Oyinyechi, was discovered by fashion designer, Toyin Lawani’s husband, celebrity photographer Segun Wealth, while he was driving down the street.
According to Segun Wealth, founder of Kids Model Africa, he picked an interest in Onyiyechi when she was walking down the street with her sister and decided to follow her home to seek her parent’s approval to give her a photoshoot.
On getting to their house, he discovered that they were a living in a batcher and would soon be displaced by the government, leaving them with no place to stay.
The parents agreed to the shoot and Onyiyechi whose dream is to become a model and actress was transformed into a beautiful model.

Nollywood actor cum politician, Yul Edochie has taken to social media to advise intending couples against borrowing money to finance their weddings.
Yul advised couples to desist from this act, instead they should plan their weddings according to their financial capabilities.
He added that anyone who is pressuring their spouse to borrow money to throw an elaborate wedding party to impress people doesn’t love their partner.
