Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa has choke-slammed a Twitter user who attacked her for wearing a N1.5million Christian Dior outfit.
The lifestyle vlogger had taken to Twitter to wish her followers a beautiful week ahead on Monday, June 21. She simply tweeted, “Happy new week people”.
However, the Twitter user took it upon himself to query Toke for spending N1.5 million on a complete Dior outfit. According to the tweep, how much does she have to splash that huge amount of money on a single outfit.
“You wore a 1.5m Dior, how much you got in your accounts”, the tweep wrote.
In response to the troll’s comment, Toke wrote, “More money than your worries boo”.

In other news, Toke makinwa recently shut down a troll who attributed her fame and success to her ex-husband, Maje Ayida.
The self styled “baby girl for life” had taken to her Instagram page to share an hilarious video of herself and captioned it, “Get it right, I’m 5ft3″, when a troll who seem to have a problem with Toke’s free spirit took to the comment to drag her.
According to the troll, Toke Makinwa talks too much and was dumped by her ex-husband because she doesn’t fit into the fitness expert’s lifestyle. He also attributed her fame and success to her ex-husband.
The troll wrote,

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus has taken to social media to raise alarm after receiving multiple death threats from an Instagram follower.
According to her, she has received several messages from the anonymous follower so she decided to call him out on social media.
She shared screenshots of the troll’s messages and appealed to members of the public to come to her aid.
The troll threatened to shoot her dead when they meet in real life. He also used cursive and demeaning words on the 43-year-old actress.
Sharing the screenshots, Eniola Badmus wrote,

Popular Nigerian singer, Esegine Allen otherwise known as Orezi, has shared a video of his mum fervently praying for him to marry this year.
Apparently the single status of the 35-year-old singer has got his mum worried and she decided to take her worries to God in prayer.

FG has spent $5bn fighting poverty in the last five years- Humanitarian Minister, Sadiya Farouq
Nigeria’s Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, has said the Federal Government spent over $5bn since 2016 to fight poverty in the country.
Sadiya Farouq said this during the presentation of letters of engagement and electronic tablets to 248 monitors of the National Social Investment Programme NSIP programme in Adamawa state over the weekend.
The Minister who was represented at the event by the National Coordinator of NSIP, Dr Umar Bindir, said President Buhari has since 2016 backed his pledge to pull out 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by committing $1bn through the National Social Investment Programme to reduce poverty and inequality.
“I am happy to report to you that every year since 2016, when NSIP was flagged off, Mr President has approved that $1bn be invested into that sector every year (which aggregated is over $5bn).” she said

On Sunday, June 20th 2021, the world celebrated Father’s Day with a lot of people paying tributes to their fathers, however, a Nigerian chef, Effizy Code took to his page to dedicate the special day to his mother.
The young man used the opportunity to call out African fathers who have shunned their responsibilities and left the task of catering for their families on the women.
He wrote on his page,
“Even if today is fathers day I still dedicate this pot of turkey sauce to my mom a million times over, and I don’t regret saying that cuz she’s the most amazing thing in my life, And I just wish my unborn children won’t say such about me,” he wrote.

Serious fight breaks out between a guy and a lady at Ghanaian bar ‘over a seat’ (WATCH)
A quite serious brawl between a man and a lady ensued at a Ghanaian bar known as Bloom Bar, which is located in the heart of Accra over the weekend.
The moment of the duo exchanging fisticuffs was captured on camera and reports that followed were that the man locked horns with a lady touted as Yaa Asantewa on social media over a seat at the cocktail bar.
Eyewitnesses reveal that the man had prior to their brawl, left his seat to meet someone outside the venue and upon getting back, the lady had already taken occupancy of his seat.
It’s reported that after the man asked the lady to vacate the seat, it led to a heated exchange of unpleasant words which evolved into a fight at the bar. Eyewitnesses say the lady’s boyfriend intervened in the fight and took it to another level.
It was the intervention of bouncers that led to the break up of the two men before they were escorted out of the premises. Some bystanders got hurt while others fled the venue without paying for their drinks.

They reportedly had their traditional introduction before she travelled, however, the lady has been living with another man in the house he rented for her and now pregnant for the other man.
Upon this discovery three months ago, the young man who is in Nigeria has slipped into depression.
