A woman was filmed brutally assaulting her daughter and attempting to break her elbow while helping her brush her teeth in Sango Ota, Ogun State.

In the video shared online, the mother could be seen slapping and forcefully turning her daughter’s elbow backwards while the little girl shrieked in pain.

The video was captured by a concerned neighbour who has appealed to the appropriate authorities to intervene because the mother usually assaults her children.

According to the neighbor, the woman also uses a knife to inflict injuries on her children’s body as punishment.

The video has sparked outrage on social media as netizens condemn the mother for being heartless. Some netizens pointed out that Nigerian mothers are in the habit of transferring their frustration and anger on their children by assaulting them.

A young man who is in an amorus relationship with a woman in her sixties has lambasted social media critics mocking her “wrinkly” face.

23-year-old Leo has achieved TikTok fame with his habit of showing off his elderly girlfriend, Cheryl, and this has elicited strange reactions from viewers who mock the woman for being old, with people saying their relationship is “weird” and “wrong”.

Leo hit back by sharing a clip of him kissing Cheryl on the sofa. The clip was watched more than 50,000 times in the space of a few hours and people flooded the comment section with their thoughts.

The couple explained that they started as friends doing dance TikTok videos together in a supermarket and it blossomed into romance.

Leo says in the video: “I first met Cheryl when I got my first job at Dairy Queen and her son was the store manager and Cheryl would come by all the time in this baby blue Camaro, it looked so nice.

“She would come in and socialise. So later on, years go by, she was at the gas station and made a TikTok and she didn’t want to make TikToks no more when I met her…”

“When I said she got 8,000 likes, she killed it. I said, ‘Cheryl for that to be your thing, your first time you got 8,000 likes’.”

He said he encouraged her to continue making TIkTok videos and even joined her in the videos and their relationship grew.

“So I told her keep making those videos,” he continues, “and we got on there and started making videos since and she went viral.”

He also said Cheryl is “awesome” and he loves their “energy” together as a couple.

A young Nigerian lady has achieved a wonderful milestone as she recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering.

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has again warned that anyone caught spraying Naira notes will be arrested and sent to jail.

This directive is a bid by the apex bank to curb the rate at which Nigerians ‘mutilate, deface, squeeze and even spray and sell’ the naira notes during memorable occasions such as weddings and funerals

An Assistant Director at the Currency Operations Department, Aladeen Badajo said this during the commencement of the CBN two-day sensitisation fair held in Abeokuta, Ogun state today June 10. He pointed out that the apex bank threatened that “abuse of the currency attracts a penalty of not less than six months or a fine of not less than N50,000 or both.”

A Nigerian lady identified as Grace Abel from Benue State has taken to her facebook page to cry out that she was dumped by her boyfriend because she gained weight.

“Friends, my boyfriend said am too fat now that he don’t want me anymore, what do you think i should do to him now” she wrote.

The lady is also seeking for ways to pay him back for ending their relationship.
