A Malaysia-based Nigerian man, Prince Ugo Sam, is giving thanks to God for his life after he narrowly escaped death in a ghastly auto crash.
Taking to his page Facebook on Sunday, May 2, he shared photos from the crash scene and of himself on a hospital bed.
“Glory be to God. I am alive” he wrote.

Some days back, it was reported of nine wedding guests who died in a ghastly road accident in Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State.
It was gathered that the victims were on their way from the wedding of a close friend in Benin City when the accident which took their lives happened.
According to viral reports, there were 10 passengers in the commercial bus and only one person survived while the other nine died.
It was said that a truck collided with their bus at Ekpon Junction in Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State.
The Edo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Henry Benamaisia, who confirmed the unfortunate incident said five persons died instantly while three others in critical condition were rushed to the hospital.

Nigerian music executive and producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, AKA Don Jazzy, has shared that all the women he’s ever dated knew about his first and only marriage, which only lasted for two years.

A Nigerian lady has given the quite sad narrative of how she was allegedly defiled by her father’s superior in the barracks when she was celebrating her 11th birthday in 1998.
In a post shared on her Twitter page, the lady with the handle, @LADEmie, revealed that at the time, she was hawking Kunu, a locally made nutritious drink, to help raise money for her family’s upkeep when the superior allegedly lured her into his office and defiled her in 1998.
“I was raped my by father’s superior In the military at my 11th birthday. He threatened to sack my dad if I told anyone. He could have killed me. I was 11, while I was hawking kunu to feed my family. He promised to buy my goods and I entered his office. We were in the barracks.
If I didn’t sell Kunu, we wouldn’t eat. My dad’s salary was nothing. It’s been 23 years, but it still fills like yesterday”
Lade who is now 34, said she doesn’t have photos of her abuser but remembers his first name, Owolabi.
In new reports, there’s concerns that Nigeria’s elephant population is fast depleting after local hunters shot dead a 4th elephant in Ogun State.
It was reported that the elephant was killed near Omo forest in Ogun State. According to the Elephant Protection Initiative, this is the 4th elephant illegally killed in two years.

An undergraduate of Imo State University (IMSU), who was declared missing, has been discovered dead after five days.
Kingsley Chiwueze, a 300-level law student, was on Monday, April 26 declared missing after he could not be reached on the phone and his whereabouts remained unknown.
Chuwueze who is a native of Oguta Local Government Area of the state, was involved in student union politics and declared his intention to run for the office of Senate President of the National Association of Imo State Students two weeks ago.
The President of the Students Union Government of IMSU, Arinze Oguike, who confirmed the development on Sunday, May 2, revealed that the corpse of the law undergraduate was found in the morgue of Umuguma General Hospital, Owerri.
He said some students stormed the mortuary and the attendant told them the corpse was allegedly deposited by the management of a private hospital, in Owerri.
The student leader said,
“The attendant told us that his corpse was brought by people from a private hospital on Whetheral Road. We will go to the hospital to find out how they took custody of the student’s corpse.”

Big Brother Naija ‘lockdown’ star, Nengi, has reacted to the sad story of Iniobong Umoren, the Philosophy graduate of the University of Uyo, who left her home for a supposedly job interview in the outskirt of Uyo.
She was reportedly raped and killed by a man who said he had a job opportunity for her.
Reacting to this, Nengi released the curse of God on her killers, she wrote on her Instagram story ;

Comedienne, Princess has revealed that she did not authorize the public release of the CCTV footage which showed veteran actor, Baba Ijesha molesting her foster daughter.
Recall that, Punch recently released the footage which captured the moment Baba Ijesha molested the minor.
However, the comedienne who has now released a disclaimer through her lawyers, claimed that she did not authorize the release of the CCTV footage.
The disclaimer reads,
“Our client disclaims any liability or responsibility whatsoever that arises from the publication of the video on the internet or any other social media platform showing OLSRENWAJU JAMES OMIYINKA (AKA. BABA IJESHA) molesting our client’s foster daughter.
“Our client expressively disclaim any liability whatsoever for any loss however, arising from the content of the CCTV footage released to the general public”.
Meanwhile, since the release of the footage, there has been uproar across social media.
Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson has waded in on the ongoing rape scandal involving Baba Ijesha and the minor he allegedly molested.
Recall that the CCTV footage surfaced online, and Nigerians watched with disdain, the way Baba Ijesha molested the minor.
Reacting to this, Mercy Johnson is of the opinion that anyone who still tries to defend Baba Ijesha at this point needs to be arrested.
In her words ;

A video making the rounds on social media shows the moment a pastor was laid curses on members who did not donate towards her birthday celebration.
The pastor stood on the pulpit as she addressed members and pointed out that some members refused to contribute towards her birthday and lambasted them for it.

Iniobong Umoren, a Philosophy graduate of the University of Uyo, left her home for a job interview, so she thought —but was raped and killed by the man who invited her for the job interview.
The sad development was confirmed, Sunday afternoon, by the Police in Akwa Ibom State.
The police spokesperson in the state, Odiko MacDon, identified the suspect as 20-year-old Uduak Frank Akpan.
The suspect, said to be a serial rapist, killed the missing woman and buried her in a shallow grave in his father’s house, after raping her.
“The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested one Uduak Frank Akpan, 20 years old for kidnapping, raping and murdering one Miss Iniobong Umoren.
“On 30/04/2021, the Command received a report on the disappearance of the victim.
“Following available leads, men of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Command, led by CSP Inengiye Igose, consolidated on the initial great progress made by the DPO Uruan, SP Samuel Ezeugo and arrested the perpetrator who confessed to have lured his victim to his house in the guise of giving her a job, but ended up sexually and physically assaulting her which led to her death. To cover his tracks, he dragged and buried her in a shallow grave in his father’s compound.
“The deceased has been exhumed and deposited at UUTH for autopsy.
“The suspect confessed to have told his local government chairman of his atrocity before escaping to Calabar and was never at any time handed over to the Police by anyone.
“Suspect is a confessed serial rapist who has owned up to the raping of other victims. He will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation.
Ms Umoren was last seen on April 29 before she went to honour the appointment for a ‘job interview’
She was screaming for help on the phone, said one of her friends who established contact with her on the day she went missing.
“She sent me a 1sec audio record on WhatsApp and I had to call her back to know if she wanted to say something to me but immediately I called her I heard her screaming,” the friend, Uduak Umoh, tweeted.
Concerned Nigerians did an amazing job, deploying internet tools to see how they could track the missing woman’s location or uncover the identity and the location of the person she went out to meet.
#FindHinyUmoren trended on Twitter for two days, after Ms Umoren went missing.
The Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State, Amienghene Andrew, commended “the social media family” for their “effort” in the case.
She was raped, murdered and buried in a shallow grave by her abductor identified as Uduak Akpan.
Below is the last conversation she had with her friend, Uduak Umoh while she was ‘heading’ for the supposed interview she was invited for by her assailant.
“It was immediately I got this 1sec voice note from her that I called her and she has not been taking my calls.” Her friend, Uduak had tweeted.
#FindHinyNumoren started trending after her @UmohUduak1 called for help online, saying she was unable to reach Ms Umoren after a job interview along the airport road in Akwa Ibom.
She added that she had received a one second voice recording on WhatsApp, and when she last heard her on the phone, Ms Umoren was screaming.
The police announced that they had arrested two suspects believed to have played a role in the disappearance of Ms Umoren in Akwa Ibom.
Ms Umoren had announced on Twitter on April 27 that she was in need of a job.

Actor, Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the CCTV footage of Baba Ijesha abusing a minor.
Fabiyi tagged the footage as disturbing and also condemned the act of using the minor as bait for Baba Ijesha who is said to have molested the girl seven years ago.
According to him, “If the girl was your child, can you make her go through such trauma again in the name of gathering evidence?”
Yomi Fabiyi said this in a statement titled, ‘It Is Criminal To Molest A Minor Or Use A Minor As A Trap To Gather Evidence.’
The statement read, “It is disturbing and unfortunate viewing the images of the released CCTV footage of a minor been sexually abused by a senior colleague, Mr Lanre Omiyinka a.k.a Baba Ijesha. There is no excuse for this act. I condemn this act, it is embarrassing and disappointing.
“I have carefully waited for reliable options before jumping to a conclusion as done in a civilised society, a stance a handful misconstrued as supporting the suspect, it is a shame a handful in Nigeria still engage in social media recklessness in the name of social media age. NOWHERE HAVE I SUPPORTED OR CONDONE SUCH, someone just placed the idea and many without caution jumped on it. If you are not enlightened, SEEK KNOWLEDGE.

Iniubong Umoren aka Hiny Humoren, the young lady who went job hunting has been found dead, and buried in a shallow grave by her abductors.
The deceased on Thursday, April 29, 2021, had gone for a “job interview” at an undisclosed location on Airport Road in the outskirts of Uyo.
About two hours later, she reportedly made a frantic phone call to her friend, Uduak Umoh, where she was heard screaming before the call was abruptly ended.
This immediately prompted Uduak to raise an alarm on social media four days ago and the hashtag #FindHinyUmoren Trended.
Uduak Umoh has given an update, alleging that her friend was raped before being killed and buried in a shallow grave by her abductor.
A bribe-seeking police officer, yesterday trending on social media after a viral video was shared on Saturday, May 1st 2021.
In the video, the officer could be seen asking for a bribe from a man who he flagged down, and discovered he was driving his vehicle without a tint permit.
“I no want transfer, I want cash”, the office could be heard in the video. (See here).
In a new development, the officer has been arrested and would detained for further investigation and disciplinary action.
In a tweet posted on its handle, the Police complaint unit said the erring officer has been arrested.

“A close-circuit Television footage watched by Saturday PUNCH has revealed that Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, kissed and fondled sensitive parts of the body of the 14-year-old girl in the care of popular comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, otherwise called Princess.
Not done, Omiyinka, while engaging in the act, was also seen licking the fingers on the left hand of the victim and caressing the minor’s legs and thighs with his left hand.
In an apparent effort to sexually arouse the minor, Omiyinka was seen lifting the victim’s dress as he caressed the minor’s body.
Our correspondent who obtained the footage observed that the minor was dressed in a sleeveless gown as she sat on a sofa in Adekanya’s residence. Omiyinka wore a white shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a hat.
Shortly after Adekanya stepped out, Omiyinka, who also sat beside the victim on the same sofa, was seen using his hand to caress the victim’s left arm.
Before Omiyinka started the act, the comedienne was seen leaving her apartment with three others, leaving Omiyinka and the victim in the parlour to see off the guests. After Adekanya left the apartment, Omiyinka was shown by the footage searching the rooms.
Some minutes later, Omiyinka kissed the minor’s arm, hugged and caressed her body as they sat on the sofa.
However, the victim, who was uncomfortable by Omiyinka’s advances, quickly disentangled herself from the actor’s grip.
Omiyinka was again seen in the footage, standing with the victim in the parlour, hugging the minor and using his two hands to caress the victim’s buttocks.
The victim, however, disengaged herself from Omiyinka, who clung to her. Afterwards, Omiyinka was seen using both hands to caress the minor’s head.
The footage also showed him bending the victim to a corner on the sofa and kissing the minor. Again, the 14-year-old girl disengaged herself from Omiyinka’s grip.
Our correspondent observed that the sexual advances were instigated by the thespian. Also, background voices of people monitoring the situation in the parlour were heard in the footage. From the footage assessed, there was no part that showed Omiyinka defiling the minor.
Meanwhile, Omiyinka was seen in another footage remorsefully pleading to Adekanya, and some other persons, who reportedly caught him sexually assaulting the minor in the parlour.
“Please forgive me, I am sorry. I know I have offended but please forgive me. I beg you in the name of God, please forgive me. You tried for me, you don’t deserve this.
“I don’t know what went wrong with me, forgive me. If you want to take me away (to Panti), let me just kill myself. I know I have done what is wrong, but please, forgive me,” Omiyinka said in the footage while being interrogated by Adekanya and others.”
An Akwa Ibom Lady, Iniobong (Hiny Humoren) who was declared missing by her friend, Umoh Uduak, 3 das ago on Twitter, has been found dead.
Recall that Uduak had taken to Twitter to raise an alarm after her friend, Iniobong (Hiny Humoren) went for a job interview in Akwa Ibom.
Iniobong was invited for an interview at an undisclosed location along airport road in Uyo, on Thursday, April 29th. According to Uduak, Iniobong had made a distressed phone call to her where she heard her screaming before the call was ended abruptly.
All effort to reach Iniobong at that particular moment proved abortive as her phone was immediately switched off.
Uduak then took to Twitter to raise alarm, and the hashtag, #FindHinyHumoren has been trending ever since.
In a new update by Uduak, her friend, Iniobong (Hiny Humoren) has been found dead and reportedly buried by her assailants.
“The killed my friend and they buried my friend”, Uduak tweeted.
Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh has slammed Bukky Black for supporting Baba Ijesha, who is currently in police custody for allegedly defiling a minor.
Recall that actress, Bukky Black declared support for Baba Ijesha in a video she share onlined. According to her, she doesn’t believe the actor is guilty of the said crime because he has always been shy around women. She also rained curses on people who kick others when they are down. Read here.

“A close-circuit Television footage watched by Saturday PUNCH has revealed that Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, kissed and fondled sensitive parts of the body of the 14-year-old girl in the care of popular comedienne, Adekola Adekanya, otherwise called Princess.
Not done, Omiyinka, while engaging in the act, was also seen licking the fingers on the left hand of the victim and caressing the minor’s legs and thighs with his left hand.
In an apparent effort to sexually arouse the minor, Omiyinka was seen lifting the victim’s dress as he caressed the minor’s body.
Our correspondent who obtained the footage observed that the minor was dressed in a sleeveless gown as she sat on a sofa in Adekanya’s residence. Omiyinka wore a white shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a hat.
Shortly after Adekanya stepped out, Omiyinka, who also sat beside the victim on the same sofa, was seen using his hand to caress the victim’s left arm.
Before Omiyinka started the act, the comedienne was seen leaving her apartment with three others, leaving Omiyinka and the victim in the parlour to see off the guests. After Adekanya left the apartment, Omiyinka was shown by the footage searching the rooms.
Some minutes later, Omiyinka kissed the minor’s arm, hugged and caressed her body as they sat on the sofa.
However, the victim, who was uncomfortable by Omiyinka’s advances, quickly disentangled herself from the actor’s grip.
Omiyinka was again seen in the footage, standing with the victim in the parlour, hugging the minor and using his two hands to caress the victim’s buttocks.
The victim, however, disengaged herself from Omiyinka, who clung to her. Afterwards, Omiyinka was seen using both hands to caress the minor’s head.
The footage also showed him bending the victim to a corner on the sofa and kissing the minor. Again, the 14-year-old girl disengaged herself from Omiyinka’s grip.
Our correspondent observed that the sexual advances were instigated by the thespian. Also, background voices of people monitoring the situation in the parlour were heard in the footage. From the footage assessed, there was no part that showed Omiyinka defiling the minor.
Meanwhile, Omiyinka was seen in another footage remorsefully pleading to Adekanya, and some other persons, who reportedly caught him sexually assaulting the minor in the parlour.
“Please forgive me, I am sorry. I know I have offended but please forgive me. I beg you in the name of God, please forgive me. You tried for me, you don’t deserve this.
“I don’t know what went wrong with me, forgive me. If you want to take me away (to Panti), let me just kill myself. I know I have done what is wrong, but please, forgive me,” Omiyinka said in the footage while being interrogated by Adekanya and others.”

The movie industry is a hiding place for perverts. That’s the truth, because these days, every girl wants to be an actress. When asked if she would like to change anything about her physique, the actress lamented how she often feels depressed seeing men drool over her big boobs.
“Sometimes I feel depressed because I don’t like the attention I get because of my physical features. While some days, I feel sexy, even though people always look at me with lustful eyes. I am happy with myself, my body. I love how I look.”
On what turns her off in a relationship, Mummy Wa says it’s dishonesty and lack of respect.
“I look out for a hardworking man, who is caring and supportive. Presently, I am dating an entertainer and hoping we get married someday,” she said.

It should be recalled that in March of this year, the singer announced their engagement after the former EME signee popped the big question to his girlfriend at her birthday party on a Sunday, March 14 which she heartily accepted.
Sharing the video on his Instagram page, the ”shake body” singer wrote;

Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy, has revealed that he made a conscious choice to be great at a particular point in his life.
He revealed this in a recent interview with GQ magazine. According to him, he was so moved by his decision that he concluded that it was either greatness or death.
“Following several collaborations with foreign artistes of African heritage, I just made up my mind that I wanted it all. I wanted to be the greatest. That’s when it hit me really hard that I had to do it. It was that or death,” he said.
He added that after he won the Grammy Award, he felt like he had changed the belief of Africans that there is a limit to what they can achieve.
He said,
“I was not celebrating because of myself. It was almost as if I had broken a mental cycle of our people. Our people had been very mentally oppressed to feel like they could not do certain things, and that certain things were unreachable.”
Every day, I realise more that things are bigger than me. I have to think for a lot of people – basically a whole generation – before I think of myself.”
A father of two, Arzel Ivery has been arrested after he reportedly strangled his girlfriend and his two daughters.
According to prosecutor he killed his two daughters after strangling their mum because he did not want them to “live in a world where they did not have their mother”.
The body of his girlfriend identified as, Amarah Banks was found in a garage in Milwaukee, Tennessee, the US, along with her daughters Camaria Banks, 4, and Zaniya Banks, 5, just one day after authorities issued an “Amber Alert” for the two girls.
Their remains were found on February 16th, 2020, a day after Arzel was taken into custody in Nashville, Tennessee.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree intentional homicide, reportedly told detectives where to find the bodies of his girlfriend and two young girls.
The mother of the two girls was last seen being dropped off at her apartment around 1am on February 8 after attending the funeral of her one-year-old son.
Her family became concerned and contacted police after she didn’t show up to work the following week, and on 15 February, authorities issued an Amber Alert for daughters, Camaria and Zaniya.
Prosecutors claim Ivery admitted to killing the three, and that he said he had attended his baby son’s funeral on February 7 and went to work afterwards.
He returned home in the early hours of February 8 and said that Banks was upset with him because he had gone to work.
The mum had “yelled at him that he did not care about the death of their son”, according to the prosecutor’s complaint.
Ivery then said that the two argued before he grabbed Banks and pushed her head into the wall before he “strangled Banks with both hands”.
The complaint claims that Ivery said “he did not want the children to live in a world where they did not have their mother” and also strangled them.
Arzel then tried to burn the bodies and left them in the garage.
Police say they went after Ivery after his father had called and reported Ivery telling him that he “had killed the mother of his children and his children in Milwaukee and burned the bodies”.
