Nigerian socialite, Sam Larry, has been reportedly arrested for questioning by the Nigerian police force at the airport.
After the passing of the young, rising star Mohbad two weeks ago, Sam Larry has been a popular topic for weeks. Many individuals have accused him of being responsible for Mohbad’s passing.
These allegations from Nigerians follow the series of video shared online showing Sam Larry and other thugs severely attacking Mohbad.
In a new update, Sam Larry has been detained and will be assisting the police with their inquiries, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police’s public relations officer, announced on his Twitter page on Thursday evening.
In the posted video, the cops can be seen walking Sam Larry to prevent him from being assaulted by angry fans.

In other news, a Nigerian soldier has expressed his displeasure with Nigerians mourning the late singer Mohbad but have never mourned his slain colleagues who died in the line of duty.
The soldier, who said he has been in the bush for days, criticized Nigerians for not appreciating the sacrifices made by the men of the Nigerian army to protect the country.
According to him, the entire nation has been mourning the deceased singer for weeks, and social media platforms are filled with his pictures and tributes, while soldiers who spend days in the bush and risk their lives to protect the citizens have never received that level of honor.
He added that instead of receiving praise, soldiers are often disregarded and disrespected by civilians.
Speaking further, he threatened to deal with anyone who fails to give him the respect he believes he deserves.
