President Jacob Zuma of South Africa has been caught sleeping in Parliament.
He was caught sleeping when the country’s Finance Minister, Pravin Gordhan, was giving a speech.
All eyes were on Pravin Gordhan on Wednesday when he delivered his mid-term budget speech in Parliament.
According to Times Live, the speech said as much about SA’s politics as it did about the state of the public purse.
However, an hour and 14 minutes into Gordhan’s speech, Parliament’s cameras caught President Jacob Zuma sleeping.
The president’s head hung to his side as he dozed away.
