Three men, identified as Biodun Aguda, Dapo Olanrewaju and Olalekan Abraham, have reportedly been charged with conspiracy and stealing after they allegedly robbed two men of their ATM cards and forced them to divulge their pin numbers in order to withdraw money from their accounts against their wishes.

According to Daily Post, the accused aged 30, 27 and 30, respectively, reside at different parts of Agege, a suburb of Lagos State.

Corporal Mike Unah, the Prosecutor, told the court that the accused committed the offences on September 20 at the Iju-Ishaga area of the state.

Unah said:

“The trio conspired to forcefully collect the ATM cards and pin numbers of the complainants one Mr. Allen Sosu and Mr Tunde Fawehinmi and withdrew money from their accounts.

“The accused targeted their victims such that after the complainants finished using the ATM machine, they followed them and forcefully led them back to the ATM machine, compelling them to reveal their pins.

“The trio threatened to kill them if they refused to comply and withdrew N70, 000 from Sosu’s account and N145, 000 from Fawehinmi.

They plead not guilty!
