Nigerian singer, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known as Reekado Banks, has hinted on his desire to pursue an entirely different career path when he turns 38.

The 28-year-old singer made this revelation on Wednesday, May 25 via his official Twitter handle.

According to the Ozumba Mbadiwe hit maker, he would probably quit music to become a chef.

“Switching careers completely when I’m 38. I’m going to become a chef”, Reekado Banks tweeted.

Reekado was signed with Mavin Records in 2014 and left the label in 2018. He was declared Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014, and won the Next Rated award at The Headies 2015.

A while ago, Reekado Banks had a brief heated exchange with one of his followers on Twitter when the latter tweeted his sudden realization that the singer actually makes good music.

@Famimora_ on the platform randomly tweeted that the singer actually makes good songs, but the context with which he made his stance known caused a debate among tweeps.

@Famimora_ had simply tweeted, “Lol. Reekado actually has good songs.”

The interpretation of his tweet by the singer is what got tongues wagging on the microblogging platform… Reekado Banks interpreted @Famimora_’s tweet as one that is just coming to the realization that he “actually” makes good songs.
